The Grimm King had finally left Vale along with his posse. Vale was pretty much mostly on fire with blackened flames still burning. Beacon Academy was utterly wrecked…but what of Amber seemingly vanishing? Of course, the false maiden managed to escape which only made the people angrier.
They wanted answers, they wanted arrests and justice.
"Glynda, how's the status of the students?" Ozpin asked.
"Most of them are hurt. Pyrrha's got it worse…the Grimm King did a number on her. It seems Arc awoke his semblance…he's been hard at work healing the lesser injured." Glynda said clearly depressed. "But this isn't going to help considering Cinder got away. Amber has not been found…"
"This is a disaster." Ozpin said getting up from his desk. "Beacon is in ruins, the council is breathing down our necks, and with the Azure issue now public…"
"We did what we had to do. However, I blame Yuki for not coming to our aid. His father…" Qrow said coming on for Glynda to glare at him to get him to stop.
"His father would have been livid with what we did and what happened to his son." Glynda said icily. "Our mistakes cost us someone who could have been an ally."
"Regardless, we need to find Mr. Azure and convince him to help for the good of Remnant. We just need to pin where he could be. I doubt he could be still in Crossroad. For now, we need to secure the maidens and relics." Ozpin affirmed. "Our reputation be damned. I may as well come out about Salem."

"No, what do you mean no?" Qrow asked. "Do you have any-"
"We know everything about the maidens. Pyrrha told us everything before they had to sedate her. And my answer remains as no." Jaune said standing in front of the door leading to Pyrrha's hospital room.
"Then you realize what's at stake?" Qrow said.
"My partner was beaten to a bloody pulp and is in a medically-induced coma to heal because of Ozpin using her for his shadow war that you all pressured her into doing it. If I can ask, why the hell wasn't Glynda made the maiden or any older student? Pyrrha was the best, but she was still in her first year. She had her life ahead of her…" Jaune said glaring at the drunkle.
"Jaune, please be reasonable." Weiss said only for Ren to snap at her.
"Reasonable?" Ren said hiding clear signs of anger. "If you have not noticed we're sandwiched between a madman who brought unholy Grimm and the fact we have an immortal mage controlling the Grimm we already have."
"If you want the maiden's power back, you'll get back when Pyrrha recovers. No ifs, ands, or butts." Nora said.
"So, you're not coming with us to Mistral?" Ruby asked.
"Sorry Crater Face, I can't. My place is here." Jaune said giving Ruby a wistful look.
"It's fine, I get it. I can only hope she heals." Ruby said.

Patch. The perfect hideaway if you want to hide from the kingdoms. Ironically, two duos had the same idea.
"So, your boss fucked you over too?" Mercury asked.
"I was the boss, it was my subordinate Adam." Sienna said as she sighed.
"My sympathy." Emerald said. "Our boss was Cinder."
"Ouch." Mara said stoically. "But it brings you to why you were sneaking onto our Bullhead."
"To be fair, we were going to hijack it." Mercury admitted.
"We'll have none of that…besides the enemy of my enemy is a friend. Besides…I doubt people we'll think we're White Fang if we travel together." Sienna remarked. "Not like we can stay in Patch forever."

Cinder returned to the Grimmlands entering the castle only to freeze to see a rather surreal scene. Salem showing clear fear and panic as she frantically packed her bags.
"Mistress!"
"Cinder, you absolute fool! What have you done?!" Salem screamed. "It's over…we're utterly doomed. We need to get out of here before he comes!"
"Wait, where's everyone else?" Cinder asked.
"Fled…even Tyrian. The sight of the Grimm King snapped him sane." Salem said in a low tone. "Please tell me you have an airship."
"Yes, where exactly are we even going to go?!" Cinder asked. "I'm literally wanted in all four kingdoms."
"We go to Vale. With the Grimm King on the loose, I can offer a team up with him in exchange for a pardon for myself and you." Salem said sagely. "Now let's go!"
She was dragged outside.
(A/N: From here, we leave Remnant and focus on Neo Terra. We'll have small events of 'Fallers', people from Remnant to Neo Terra. Gradually, more and more will show up. I am going to take requests of who you want to show up first.)
