Izuku fell to his knees. His head pounded with a migraine.

His sight was filled with black spots as he tried to look up.

At the girl who was shaking him.

"E..ri."

He shakily said to the girl.

"I'm... so... sorry... that I... did... that."

She shook her head before wrapping her arms around his neck in a hug.

Burying her head into his shoulder as she did.

"Thank you so much."

Her voice muffled by the torn fabric of his costume.

"Wh...y?"

He rasped making her teary ruby eyes look at him.

"You saved me and... let me hurt him."

She buried her head into his shoulder again.

Izuku shakily rose his hand and let it rest on her head.

Before tilting his head to rest it on her's.

Both feel asleep there.

Eventually the police and heroes came upon them and the monstrous corpse of Chisaki's fused body.

They put both Izuku and Eri on stretchers. Equating there current state to quirk exhaustion (Izuku) and over excitment (Eri) and took them both to the hospital.

Though Izuku was only sent there for a physical exam to insure he was alright from the battle.

"I found nothing wrong with you but-."

"Forget about me how are the others?"

Izuku asked pulling on a pair of jeans and a shirt that the hospital had provided for him due to the tattered state of his costume.

A sloppily dressed man leaned into the room.

"They're fine I just went to check on them all."

Izuku looked at the man surprise easily showing on his face.

"Aizawa-Sensei are you alright?"

The man nodded ignoring the nurse behind him who stated that he shouldn't be walking around yet.

"I got 10 stitches now come."

He said motioning for the boy to follow him as he left to the doorway of room.

They walked down the hall the man speaking as they did.

"I'm sorry I wasn't able to stay with you in be more critical moments."

Izuku shook his head.

"There isn't anything to be sorry for it was completely out of your control sir."

The man reluctantly nodded before informing him on the states of his fellow heroes.

Kirishima had immense bruising and lacerations covering his body. Though thankfully nothing life threatening.

Amajiki was fine besides the large fissure-like wound on his face that would heal in time.

Fatgum has numerous bone fractures but seemed to be fine.

And Rocklock thankfully didn't have any major damage.

"That's good sir but what about Eri?"

The man looked away sighing as he did.

"She hasn't woken up yet. What happened to her was far more than over excitement."

Aizawa glared at him.

"So what really happened to her?"

Izuku looked away guilt tearing at his heart.

"I... I gave her Chisaki's quirk after I killed him with it."

"It's a bad idea to lie Midoriya."

Came a voice behind the boy and the hero.

Izuku turned and saw the plain faced detective that he knew worked with All Might at times.

"What did he lie about Tsukauchi-San?"

The hobo lookalike teacher said crossing his arms as he looked at the detective.

"The death of Chisaki."

The detective looked at the boy.

"So how did he truly die?"

Izuku looked at the detective.

"Eri killed him after I gave her Chisaki's quirk."

He said his eyes filled with guilt.

"But only because I urged her on."

Aizawa places a hand onto his shoulder.

"Midoriya why?"

Izuku bit his lip.

"Because I would do the same to Tomuni- Tomura should I ever get the chance."

He said glaring into the eyes of his teacher.

"What you did was extremely risky you could have turned Eri into a mindless husk like one of those nomu."

The detective lectured him.

"Which is why I lied to you about Eri."

Aizawa said making Izuku turn his head so fast his neck made an audible crack.

"What?"

The hobo lookalike gave him a small smile.

"Eri is fine but what you did could have permanently harmed her."

Izuku nodded.

"I... yeah I know the giving of quirks is incredibly dangerous and I'm so sorry that I could have hurt her. And I understand that what I did was likely incredibly illegal and I accept that. I won't try to fight you if you find me guilty."

The detective walked up to the boy.

"Midoriya you aren't in trouble."

"Wha?"

Aizawa placed his hand back on the boy's shoulder. Insuring to place all five of his fingers on the boy's clothed shoulder.

"What you did was incredibly dangerous... but you did stop a incredibly dangerous villain by doing it."

Izuku looked up at the man.

"So you are getting off scot free. Just this once if you ever do something like this again your provisional license will be taken from you. This is your only warning."

Detective Tsukauchi nodded with the man's statement.

"Eraserhead I need to go."

The plain man said pointing to a room down the hall.

Aizawa nodded and motioned for the man to go on.

"Wait."

Izuku called out to the plain man.

He turned to the boy with a quirked brow.

"When... when Eri is able to leave the hospital can... is it possible that she could be placed into my custody like Shinichi?"

The plain man shrugged.

"I wouldn't know."

Izuku nodded.

"But she does seem to like you Midoriya and may in the future be placed in your custody."

He gave the man a small smile and nodded. Before turning back to his teacher.

"Can I visit Eri sir?"

Aizawa nodded.

"She's probably asleep by now so be quiet."

Izuku entered Eri's room and sat down in the chair that was near her bed.

He wasn't sure how long he sat in that chair watching her sleep.

But he eventually fell asleep himself.

With a small smile on his face.
