Eventually Izuku and his fellow heroes in training were allowed to return to the school.
Where they encountered their fellow students who were excited to see them.
Once the four teens stepped through the entrance of the dorms they meet with a semi circle of their fellow students. Who immediately began questioning them on what had happened.
Izuku was uncomfortable with all the attention.
Thankfully Iida eventually came to his rescue.
"Everyone I know you are all worried but let's calm down!"
He yelled doing air chops with his arms.
"You all saw the news so you know what they went through."
The other students of 1-A quieted down.
"As classmates we should be sensitive to their feelings and allow them to rest."
Iida gave each and everyone of the 1-A students a serious look.
"It's not just their bodies... but their spirits must be hurting too."
Izuku (with hair freshly dyed green) smiled at the square but gestured for him to stop.
"Iida I know you mean well but."
Thoughts of what he had done filled his mind.
"I'm fine."
The square looked surprised but didn't question his statement.
Yaoyorozu declared that she would make some herbal tea to put their hearts at ease.
While Sato shoved chocolate cake into Izuku's mouth. Making the greenette instinctively smack the other's hand and jump away.
He then promptly apologized for ruining the cake.
*innocent whistling* skipping a entire arc don't mind me!
Eventually September turned to October and the last vestiges of summer faded away.
Internships were postponed partially due to the death of Sir Nighteye.
Eri was still in the hospital. As they helped the young girl recover from years of trauma.
Izuku wished that he had had a similar occurrence when he was her age. Perhaps he wouldn't be as missed up as he is if he did.
Though quirk specialists have partially figured out how her quirk works. It being connected to her horn which had shrunk drastically when her body awoke a dormant gene which gave her a second quirk (or so the cover story went anyway).
The greenette visited his little brother when he discovered that he couldn't visit the girl he saved. Izuku smiled slightly when he was told that Shinichi would soon be able to be placed in his custody.
But that doesn't matter at the moment. What matters is math!
"It's not particularly elegant... but calculate the integral of this equation."
Ectoplasm said gesturing to a equation he had written on the board.
"Those who have the answer raise your hand."
Izuku sat looking at the equation questioning every decision he's made in his life that brought him to this point.
Tapping his lip with his pencil he tried to think of an answer to the problem. But what only getting a bunch of white noise.
'Think dammit THINK!'
Stabbing his pencil into his paper as he made rough calculations in his head.
Eventually he jumped up at the same time as Yaoyorozu his hand in the air slightly higher than her's.
"Midoriya."
Ectoplasm said pointing to the currently green haired boy.
"107/27."
The cloning hero didn't hesitate as he quickly responded to the boy's answer.
"Wrong. Yaoyorozu."
He said making Izuku slump slightly.
"107/28."
Ectoplasm nodded.
"Correct now lets go to the next page."
Izuku sat in his chair looking at his calculations as the tiny pervert behind him tried to reassure the fake greenette.
"It was really close just a calculation error Midoriya."
The greenette turned slightly looking at the grape haired pervert.
"Close is still wrong."
Soon the bell for lunch came allowing the students to leave their classrooms to hang out with their friends.
Uraraka, Iida, and Hagakure approached the greenette.
"You were ferocious in your writing Midoriya-Kun!"
Uraraka said pumping her fist in the air.
Iida nodded concurring with her statement.
"Putting effort into studies is a good thing Midoriya. Now to save time for afternoon activities we should attempt to beat the lunch rush."
Hagakure seemed to nod.
"Yeah I'd hate to be stuck all the way in the back of the line."
She said looking at the greenette thinking of what Tomura had told her before she left to live in the dorms.
"Keep a close eye on my Yamikun, try to befriend him, and try to find a way to bring him home."
Izuku nodded at their words before speaking himself.
"Yeah we should go soon I'm starving."
After he finished speaking something hard with a strange texture was shoved into his mouth.
"Okay here's some cheese."
Came a sparkling slightly accented voice.
Izuku flailed back jumping out of his seat and landing back first on the floor. Nearly spitting out the thing that had been shoved into his mouth.
Until he realized that it was just cheese.
"Aoyama!"
Izuku spluttered his entire body instinctively tense from something being forcefully put into his mouth.
"Don't do that!"
The greenette yelled at the sparkling blond.
Who simply shrugged.
"You said you were hungry."
He then held up another piece of cheese. Offering it to the still greenette.
Izuku shook his head.
"No thanks."
Aoyama just shrugged eating the cheese instead.
Izuku stood brushing off his uniform. Ignoring the worried look Uraraka gave him.
And left the classroom intent on grabbing his lunch.
After school Izuku headed for his room but was stopped as he began floating.
Flailing in the air Izuku turned to the perpetrator.
"Uraraka what're you doing?!"
The girl held up her hands apologetically.
"Sorry Midorikun I didn't know how else to stop you."
Izuku crossed his arms glaring at her as he floated in the air.
Sighing he spoke.
"Why exactly did you need to stop me?"
This question seemed to give the girl pause as she quickly looked around the hallway. Searching for any of their fellow students.
After finding none she looked at him.
"I wanted to talk to you about how you reacted today is it... is it because of what happened at the mall?"
She asked her eyes filled with sadness as she watched the greenette tense up.
"Let me down."
He said his voice hard.
"Wait Midor-."
"Let me down or I will make you."
He growled his words shaking with rage.
Uraraka stared at him and reluctantly pushed her fingertips together. Restoring the boy's gravity.
Landing on the ground Izuku stomped away leaving a saddened Uraraka in his wake.
