Chapter Eight

Ursa looked at the rose bouquet and watched as it became too blurry for her eyes to focus on it. Four days ago her grandmother had passed away, they said it had been a peaceful death since it occurred in her sleep. Yet no matter which way she looked it was still death and she'd never get to hear her children or grandchildren again. Ursa never thought she'd be as affected, but after two months of visiting her and getting to know her she had grown fond of her. They had shared stories and talked about her family, which included her grandfather, a man whom her grandmother loved very dearly.

'I am sorry, it took me so long to come here,' she told the gravestone as it was illuminated by the full moon. 'I heard from Ventus that a lot of people came to be here with you.'

She had never really lost someone, so she didn't know what to say. Therefore, there was only one thing that she could think of offering her and that was a song. Once the sad song ended, she laid the white roses down before her gravestone and turned to leave, but stopped. 'I knew you'd eventually come.'

In her way stood the one person that she had managed to avoid confronting since he found out her whereabouts. 'Excuse me?'

Terra looked at the female figure dressed in black, from her voice he knew it was her. 'You don't have to try and play dumb. I know that it's you, Ursa.'

She was still upset with him and didn't want to see him, but now she had no choice. 'Why can't you understand that I don't wish to see you?'

'I am your brother, I want to be given a chance to know you but you constantly push me away. Why?'

'Maybe I just don't like you.'

'You don't even know me,' he could feel himself getting a bit upset by her hurtful words, but tried to remain calm.

'I don't need to know you anymore than I already do,' she quickly replied.

He took a step towards her and she backed up, 'Ursa, why are you doing this to me?'

She wondered if she could make a run for it, however now that they were face to face she had a feeling he wouldn't let her escape. 'It's late, I have to go.'

'You didn't answer my question. Why are you treating me the same way the family treated you?'

'I,' she realized that he was right. 'I am sorry.'

He knew she was being sincere by the tone of her voice, however her body language told him that she was still on guard. 'I have to apologize as well, I should have never lost my temper all those times and said what I did.'

'No, what you said was true,' she mumbled. 'I don't like to get close to people. I went to see Grandmother because she couldn't see me and Ventus the only reason I allowed myself to be around him is because he reminds me so much of him. Before me, when he was happier and fill with joy and love for his wife and his children.'

'But why refuse me, I am his child as well. I look like him too,' he tried to persuade her and get the reason why out of her.

Once again her vision began to blur and her throat tightened as the dawning realization as to why she rejected him hit. If Ventus looked so much like their father, Terra resembled their mother. The woman that spent most of her life rejecting her and ignoring her existence. Worrying all her life that if her secret ever got out it would ruin her reputation and her family. 'Ursa,' he walked towards her as he noticed her slumped shoulders and reserved form as she pulled within herself.

She looked up when she heard the sound of his footsteps coming towards her. 'Stop,' she ordered him as she retreated from his proximity.

'Tell me what's wrong?'

How was she supposed to unload on him that because he looked like their mother, she turned him away. But maybe if he looked like her, he would think like her and maybe leave her alone. 'The problem is that I am nothing more than a monster,' she reached up and pulled her headpiece off to reveal her face.

Terra felt a cold chill rundown his spine as the blood drained from his face at the sight before him. He had never seen anything like her before and when they said mutation he never imagined it was anything like this. 'Y-you—'

The tears that had been kept at bay loosened and ran down her face, becoming worse as she saw the expression on his face and hearing him stutter. 'Please,' her voice wavered as she replaced her burqas and turned around to take off in the direction of cab she hired.

She bolted off before he could react, 'Ursa?!'

Without looking back she ran off, once she found the cab, she got inside and told the driver to take off. To see the look on his face was too much for her to bare, all she could think of was that if she ever showed anyone else her appearance they would all be the same. It was no wonder her mother rejected her all those years ago.

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Riku was having a drink, when the front door slammed open, startling him and almost making him spill his glass. A black blur flew through the entrance hall and ran up the stairs to the second floor. Without thinking about it, he began to chase after the intruder, 'Hey!'

Ursa slammed her door shut and locked it before anyone decided to come in unannounced, 'Hey!'

She jumped when she head the bang on her door, 'You'd better have a goo—'

'I don't need to explain anything to anyone when I am in my own home,' she called out to him after her heart settled.

Amistad hearing all the commotion from her room, raced out to see what all the noise was, 'What is all the raucous?'

'Nothing,' he backed away from the door. 'I thought it was an intruder, but it was just your friend.'

'Ursa,' she called.

'Tell him to leave and I'll open the door.'

Amistad looked over at her weary son, 'Please.'

Riku didn't need to be asked twice, he had better things to do than be somewhere he wasn't needed. 'He's gone,' he heard his mother say as he reached the stairs and started down.

Amistad heard the door unlock and she opened it and slowly walking into the dark room. To her left she heard sniffling and the soft muffled whisper, 'He saw me.'

'Ursa,' she walked towards her bed, where she spotted her sitting on the floor all hunched up and curled into herself.

'You should have seen the look on his face,' she paused remembering, 'it looked like he had seen a hideous and grotesque monster.'

'Sweetheart, you aren't making any sense,' Amistad knelt before her.

'Why aren't you like the others,' she suddenly ask as she lifted her face and looked at her. 'Why aren't you repulsed by the monster that I am?'

'Ursa, Honey, you need to calm down,' she reached out to touch her, but like a wounded animal she pulled away.

'Don't,' she ordered as she retreated.

Amistad didn't listen, she reached out and grabbed her in a tight embrace. 'I'll admit, I was surprised the first time I saw you,' she held on to her tighter as she tried to escape her hold, 'but you were so young and innocent. I couldn't turn my back on you. When I got past your soft and black furry body and black button nose, I saw a cute and adorable baby.'

Ursa cried harder as Amistad continued, 'You say you are a monster, but you are far from what you appear. You are a person with a good heart, that's too caring and loving. A person that fights for what's right and puts others before her. To me you've always been more than the little girl, I was charged to look after. You are a friend that I can talk to and help push forward when needed. You've became like my child, whom I've sworn to protect.'

Amistad just held on to her until she stopped crying and began to settle down, 'What about Riku, don't you think that you've sacrificed him for me?'

'He's a good boy, who's grown up to be a good man,' she rubbed her back, 'and he understood why I stayed.'

Ursa sniffled, 'Thank you,' she mumbled.

'You have nothing to thank me for,' she lazily rubbed her back. 'Are you feeling better now?'

'I still can't get the look on Terra's face out of my mind.'

Amistad pulled away and lifted her head up, so that she could look into her downcast eyes, 'Terra knows that underneath your appearance there is a beautiful woman. Once he realizes that he'll come around.'

'Humph,' she pulled her face away and turned to look at her closed door. 'He'll only come out of pity, I don't want him to do what Father did.'

'Your Father loves you and is proud of the person that you've become. He tells me that he enjoys your letters and that he wishes to see you.'

Ursa shook her head, 'I don't want him to feel obligated to see me because he feels responsible for me.'

'You're are such a stubborn girl,' Amistad pinched Ursa's cheek as she tried to repress a yawn.

Ursa looked over at the clock on her nightstand, 'It's late, I am sorry to have kept you up so late.'

'It's nothing to worry about,' she smiled.

'Your son must think I am loon,' she remembered his moment of heroism.

'By now I am sure he's forgotten everything,' she sighed when she remembered the smell of his breath. 'Now that I think about, I should go and check up on him. Will you be alright?'

'Yeah,' she nodded getting up and helping her. 'Thank you.'

'I told you, you have nothing to thank me for. Now, you should clean up and get ready for bed,' she leaned forward and kissed her cheek before taking off. 'Have a good night.'

'Right, you have a good night too,' she called after her.

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Terra looked over at his wife and daughter, 'What's the matter? You've been more quiet than normal and you keep looking at us funny. Do I have something on my face?'

'No,' he shook his head.

'Well, what is it? You've been off since last night? Did you meet your sister?' He nodded, 'Did she reject you again?'

He shook his head and then frowned, 'I think that this time she'll never want to see me again.'

'Oh, dear, did you say something you regret again?'

'Not really, but I don't think my temper is what affected her,' he looked over at his two year old daughter as she played with her food. When his sister's face flashed before him and he dropped his gaze.

'Your sister must be something to make you so quiet.'

'Can I ask you something?' His wife nodded and waited as he found the perfect way to phrased his question. 'If our daughter was born with a defect, would you have turned your back on her?'

Aqua turned to their adorable and hot tempered little girl and tried to imagine something physically wrong with her. How she would feel and what she would do. 'I don't know, but I think that I couldn't abandon her. She would still be my flesh and blood.'

'Would it be easier to accept a mental defect versus a physical one?'

'What about you,' she countered.

'I,' he looked at both of them and frowned as he continued to only think about her. 'Aqua, what am I going to do?'

'I am assuming that with your set of questions, you saw her and are having a hard time processing what you saw and accepting her,' she tried to assess the situation.

'She's my sister,' he shook his head in protest at the thought of rejecting her.

Aqua studied him, 'So I am going to guess that she has a physical defect, but that isn't just the sum of her is it?'

'No, Father said that she was highly intelligent, she has the voice of an angel, she's kind-hearted and a writer,' he told her.

Aqua smiled up at him, 'She sounds like a wonderful person, with a good head on her shoulders and talented.'

'But—'

Aqua cut him off, 'Should beauty really matter?'

He stopped and remembered the fallen expression on her face, the words she spoke about herself before she revealed herself. 'Maybe if I take Xion with me, she might open up.'

Aqua nodded and smiled, 'As long as you take me with you.'

'Are you sure?'

'Why not, she's your sister and my sister-in-law. I should get to know her too,' she told him.

'I don't know, overwhelming her all at once with so many people could be too much,' Terra looked at her interest all suspicious.

'What, you don't trust that I'll be great back up,' she asked as she batted her dark lashes.

'I feel like you have an ulterior motive in mind,' he told her.

'Fine, you said that she was a writer. I always wanted to meet a writer. What does she write?'

'You current favorite series,' he covered his ears as he heard her squeal in excitement.

'Your kidding me,' she asked.

'No,' she squealed in happiness again.

'Oh, my gosh, I can't believe it. Xion, we're going to meet your Aunt.'

'But I didn't agree to…' he failed to convince her to stay at home when she gave him the look wives give their husbands when they've already made up their mind.

'We're going to see Auntie Emily,' Xion asked brightly.

'Nope, your Father's sister,' Aqua clarified for her.

'Oh,' she looked over at her father with dark blue doe hues.

'But before we go, you need to finish your breakfast,' he told her.

'Kay,' she liked meeting new people and if she was her Daddy's sister she would give her presents.

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Amistad looked at Terra's image through the intercom, she knew he'd come eventually, but not so soon and with his whole family. 'Hello, Amistad, we came to see Ursa. Would it be alright if you let us in?'

She's going to kill me, she thought as she buzzed him in, 'Just follow the road.'

Terra gave a sigh of relief as she opened the gate, 'Thank you.'

'You can thank me later, if she doesn't kill me,' she mumbled to herself as she headed upstairs to tell Ursa about her visitors. 'She's going to kill me,' she said as she braced herself.

Ursa stared down at Everafter, who sat on her lap, looking up at her asking what was wrong. Why had she stopped petting him? 'I am not going,' she finally said as she lifted her head and looked up at her after she had announced Terra's arrival.

Amistad looked down at her, as she sat Indian style on the floor with her back against her bed. 'But they are on their way.'

'Tell them that I am ill and to go away.'

'Ursa.'

'He probably brought them here to mock me.'

'No, he didn't. Now, young lady, you should get dressed and come down to the garden,' she ordered her.

'I am not going,' she refused.

'Why do you have to be such a baby.'

She pouted, 'Because there is nothing wrong with wanting to protect myself. Plus, shouldn't they be in mourning right now?'

'Maybe by losing one, they plan to connect and gain another,' she offered.

'They can have another child, if they want another family member.'

'Why do you have to be so hardheaded?'

'Because I can be,' was her childish response.

Amistad didn't know how to convince her, 'Here I had thought I raised you better.'

Ursa was going to snap back, but hung her head instead, she felt guilty about disappointing her. 'Fine, I'll get ready.'

Amistad smiled, 'Good girl,' she praised her.

Ursa turned to Everafter, 'I feel like I just got treated like a little kid.'

Everafter barked in agreement and she petted him, 'I thought so.'

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

'Wow,' Xion ran around the large white rose garden.

'This place is beautiful,' Aqua admired as she walked alongside Terra.

'Thank you,' Amistad turned back to them as she lead them to the gazebo.

'You guys are pretty isolated out here, how big is the property?' Aqua asked as she took her seat.

'Privacy was a key factor for her,' Amistad stated. 'If I remember correctly, from the house in any direction you go it is five miles out to the wall.'

'Wow,' Aqua said in amazement.

Ursa was reluctant to step out of the kitchen, she kept watching them and hoping that they would leave, 'Who are they?'

She jumped when she heard the deep and husky voice next to her ear, 'Wah,' she whirled around to find Amistad's son standing before her. 'I thought you were asleep?'

Riku stared at the strange female dressed in black, 'I just woke up and came to find some aspirin.'

She side stepped to put some distance between them, 'They're in that cabinet,' she gestured to the left of him. 'If you'll excuse me.'

'You're strange, usually most women would be nervous or flabbergasted to meet me,' Riku stated as she moved along the counter trying to get away from him. 'Normally, they throw themselves at me.'

Ursa stopped trying to move away from him and turned to study his all abiding male glory. But instead of noticing his attractiveness, all she saw was a broken man that was a bit full of himself. His face was extremely pale from lack of sleep, the bags under his aquamarine hues deep and dark, his define jaw shaggy from unkempt facial hair and his silver locks wild from tossing and turning all night. Not to mention the smell coming from him. His only good features were his height and physical build, maybe if he cleaned himself up someone would find him attractive. 'Sorry, but I am not interested in shallow egotistical tools.'

'I—' she didn't even wait to let him finish his response, when she turned and gracefully turned around and left the kitchen. 'Humph, she's one to talk,' he grumbled as he watched her.

However, he had to admit the ever since his arrival, he has been curious about the woman veiled in black. She was always about the house when he was away or asleep. Which annoyed him because his mother made him take out her dog, which wasn't bad but it wasn't his dog. Last night had been the first time she had talked to him, minus the fact that she had sent him away. But one thing he could attest to was the fact that she had an amazing voice, even now when he was talking to her it sounded magical.

After he had questioned his mother again about her, she had told him that they were childhood friends. Yet knowing that she knew him, she made no attempt to reconnect with him. He had tried to recall her, but he couldn't. He had asked for a picture, but his mother just shook her head. Now after she had insulted him, he had a feeling that if they knew each other they were probably not on good terms. He was about to turn away from the glass sliding door, he had followed her to when he saw Everafter looking up at him expecting. 'She's so great, she forgot to let you out, eh,' he opened the door and Everafter shot out to chase after his master.

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Ursa felt uncomfortable in her seat before Terra and his wife, all just awkwardly staring at each other. When she heard barking, she turned to see a happy little puppy running towards her, 'Doggy.'

She hadn't noticed the little girl hiding amongst the rose bushes, however she noticed Everafter. Whom had jumped on to her lap and started to get comfortable. 'Doggy,' the little girl had arrived before her and her body went tense when she leaned against her knees.

'Xion,' Aqua caught onto Ursa's uncomfortable demeanor as Xion continued to hang off of her lap.

'But Mommy,' she turned to Aqua and then back, 'he's so cute.'

'Would you like to go play with him,' she asked as she finally found her voice and a way to get the little girl off her.

Huge bubbly blue eyes turned up to her with a gleam of happiness, 'Yes.'

She looked at Everafter and lifted him off her lap, 'Everafter, go and play,' she ordered him as she set him down.

As soon as he was placed on the ground he took off running, Xion chased after him, 'You don't like children?'

Aqua asked after Xion had taken off, 'I've never been around them. So I don't know how to interact with them.'

'Oh,' she nodded and then beamed, 'now that we know we're family. We could bring Xion over from time to time so that you can get more comfortable with children.'

'Aqua,' Terra nudged her thigh with his, but she continued to do her own thing.

'I've learned so much about you from your brother,' she leaned over to Terra and hooped her arm around his.

'Really,' she turned to look at Terra and stared at him intensely.

'He did and he told me that you were the author of my favorite series.'

'Hmm,' she didn't know that people close to their thirties still read teen fiction.

'I thought it was funny for a man his age to be interested in a teen novel, but after reading a few chapters I became hooked myself. I am so excited for your next book to come out,' Aqua replied. 'Is this going to be the last in the series?'

Ursa felt like she was at a fan meeting and smiled, 'I am glad that you like my work and as for your question, it will be the last book in the series.'

'Can I get a preview of what's to come then?'

'I am sorry,' she shook her head.

'Well,' she began to dig through her large purse. 'Can I at least have your autograph?'

Ursa looked at the hardcover book, it was the first book of her version of Beauty and the Beast. 'Of course,' she took the pen and book and with great ease signed it.

Aqua radiated happiness and Ursa couldn't help but feel her smile grow bigger. Amistad had been right about Terra and now she felt like an ass for having prejudged him. To top it off, he had brought his whole family to meet her and they didn't judge her or criticize her for her appearance. During their meeting Aqua lead the conversation, keeping it light and enjoyable. Xion was a charm, however she still wasn't used to little people running about. By the end of their visit poor Everafter was worn out so she held him in her arms as they walked out to the front. 'I hope that we can do this more often,' Aqua told her as they stood before their car.

Ursa hated to admit it but, 'It would be nice.'

'Namine would love to come and meet you, after all she the one in our family that loves your work the most.'

'That…ah…' she really didn't know how to respond to that, she was just getting used to meeting her brothers and interacting with her and Xion.

'A little at a time,' Terra saved her, 'anyways, we should get going.'

'Okay,' Aqua looked over at her sleepy daughter, 'we'll see you next time.'

'Bye,' she told them.

'You know—-'

'It's alright,' she cut him off. 'I am glad that you came and your family is lovely.'

Terra reached out to touch her, but it seemed that it was too soon since she pulled away from him. 'Until next time.'

Ursa nodded and watched as he went to get into the drivers seat and take off. 'So how was it?' Amistad asked as she joined her.

Once the car was out of view, she turned to her and said, 'It wasn't as unpleasant as I thought it was going to be.'

'Aqua was thrilled to meet you.'

'Something to do with being a fan.'

'Oh, that's good right?'

'I think so, just a little overwhelming meeting a person that admires my work,' she told her a little weary. 'But I have to admit I am grateful, so thank you.'

'For?'

'For being a beautiful and wise woman.'

Amistad smiled and put her arm on Ursa's shoulders, 'Where would you be without me?'

'Honestly, I don't know,' she answered as they turned back and walked towards the house. After they got inside she remembered it was Everafter's feeding time, 'Do you think you could feed him for me? I am going to head up to my room.'

'Alright,' she took the drowsy puppy, who perked up in her arms as he left his owner, 'I'll send him up when his done.'

'She sure enjoys making others do her responsibilities,' Riku appeared out of the front room.

'What are you still doing up?'

'What, I can't be around while the Princess is about?' He reached out and scratched behind Everafter's ear.

'No one said that, just I am amazed that you're up at this hour,' she cringed a little at the smell coming off of him. 'If you're up and about, you should go and shower.'

'Why, I smell?'

'Horrible,' she watched as he lifted his arm up to see if it smelled.

'Hn, maybe I'll go and shower later,' he shrugged his shoulder.

'Now would be best,' she told him.

He was about to tell her fine, when a throw pillow landed on the back of his head with full impact. He slowly turned to look down the hallway at the person responsible, 'That was for calling me Princess,' after her statement she turned around and took off.

'You just wait,' he was about to chase after her when his mother caught the back of his shirt and began to laugh. 'Let go. What's so funny?'

'Nothing,' she released him and went on her way.

'Nothing,' he looked at the pillow on the floor. 'I can't believe that all these people like her, when she treats her guest so poorly.'

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Two days later and she sat in her study looking at the letter she had just received from her grandmother's attorney. She didn't know how, but he had gotten a hold of her address and now she was being summoned to the reading of her grandmother's will. Of course, she had no intentions of going. If she went she would have to face her entire family and have half of them look at her funny or, the last and only image of her mother popped into her mind, worse. To most of them she didn't even exist and to the others, while she still had them remain quiet about her existence. She would have to face her father and meet… 'Everafter, how am I going to get out of this,' she asked him and he stopped playing with his chew toy to look up at her.

He barked and she grunted in displeasure, 'I know, but why did she have to go and name me in her will?'

Ursa could see it all and she shivered at all the images that popped into her head and just when she was about to give up hope, she caught a glimpse of a picture of Amistad. The gears in her head started to spin and she got up, 'That's it.'

Everafter got up and began to follow his master, 'There is no way that my offer can be refused.'

After changing into her attire, she left her room, headed down the stairs to look for her target. Five minutes of searching and she found him taking a cat nap on the living room couch, 'Wake up,' she called out.

Instead of listening to her, he ignored her and shifted his position so that his back was turned towards her. 'Everafter a little help.'

More than happy to help, the puppy jumped on the couch, made his way up between him and the couch cushions to his face where he then commenced to lick it. 'Fine,' he grunted as he lightly pushed the eager to please puppy away.

'Hello, Sunshine,' she noted the weariness on his face, but it was well passed noon.

'Yay me, I get a wake up call from the Grim Reaper,' he mumbled as he rubbed his face and looked up at her annoyed.

She could feel the twitch on the corner of her right upper lip begin to act up, she needed to remain calm and controlled. 'Better me than the real one,' she cheerfully stated.

'Whoa, don't think so highly of yourself.'

The spasm was getting faster and deeper, it seemed that being anywhere near him was bothersome. Nevertheless, she needed him so she had to suck it up. 'Well, either way, I hope that you're ready to get off your lazy bum and get to work because I need to hire you.'

'What?'

'You have a law degree and I need you to begin practicing what you've learned,' she answered.

'What are you talking about?'

'I need you to go to Gilbert and Son and be my representative. They are having a reading of my Grandmother's will and need me to attend, but I don't wish to go so you can go in my stead.'

'Why can't you go?'

'I am not going out like this to meet them,' she told him. 'Plus, this will be good for you. You get money for your little hobby.'

He was irked by her tone when she said little hobby, 'Nah, it's a hard pass.'

'Excuse me?'

'I don't feel like doing it,' he stated and lifted the puppy off his lap so that he could lift his legs off the couch.

'Hmm, here I thought that you could go and make your mother feel proud of you. Getting back on you feet again and showing her that all those years of education weren't a waste of money and time. I remember how she would go on and on about you being so smart and graduating at the top of your class. What a shame,' Ursa stated before turning around to leave. However, she didn't get very far before her right wrist was grabbed in a tight grip.

'You're a horrible person,' he snapped at her after she used his own mother against him.

'Gee, tell me something I haven't already heard,' she grabbed his hand with her free one and tried to pull his off. 'Release me.'

Riku got up off the couch and towered over her as he looked down at her. 'I can't have you running away, before you tell me exactly what you want me to do.'

Ursa backed away after he released her and clutched her fist to ease the pain. The big jerk, she ought to beat him black and blue. See if others will fall at his feet then. Yet she maintained her impulse under control and explained to him what she wanted. She also showed him the letter so that he could see the date, time and location of the meeting. Once they were finished she, walked back up to her room and locked the door behind her. Her wrist still hurt, she pulled off her burqas, then took off her long sleeved gloves so that she could assess the damage to her wrist. Nevertheless, all she was greeted with was her black furred wrist, she wondered if it would bruise and frowned at the thought, 'I should have clocked him when I had a chance or looked for someone else. Since he can only offer counseling instead of legal assistant. Jerk, should just take the bar exam here.'

o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

Amistad looked up when she felt the wind blow, because she swore she smelled her late grandmother's perfume. It had been years since she died, but Amistad could still remember her final words, 'Protect the child.' Which she had done without any regrets, for Ursa had been a quiet child and easy to take care of. As she got older, she had wished to gain her freedom and give her her own in return. Amistad had refused, because the little cub had become more than just her charge, but a daughter she couldn't leave.

Looking past her appearance had been difficult at first, but after she had gotten a good look at her, she saw the cuteness she exhibited and was swept away. As she got older the cuteness she had disappeared and her features became more striking. Therefore, Amistad wished with all her heart that Ursa would find someone that looked past the black fur, pit-less black hues and black button nose. Maybe her wish was about to come true, after all she was smelling the perfume of her late grandmother. She wondered who it could be. Ursa didn't talk to many people and she kept to herself, even with Riku around whom was close to her age she ignored. In addition, their first reencounter was a pillow to the back of his head but still it made her wonder. No, she shook her head at the thought, after all that he had been through recently, it was hard to picture him with anyone else at the moment.

Her sweet, hard working son that had been reduced to a drunken bum. Shutting people out and enjoyed his new ill begot habit a little too much. To the point that he was beginning to get out of control. 'Maybe just maybe,' Everafter barked up at her.

'You think so too, eh,' she squatted down to pet the little pup, before getting back up and calling him inside so that he could go and find his master.

A: Finally, the story is making progress.

R: Which means we'll have a lot more scenes together. (He looked over at Ursa.)

U: With out first interactions being the way they are, I don't think so.

Am: But there is magic in the air.

U: More like the stink of sweat and alcohol, (Ursa waved her hand from side to side before her face to blow the smell away from her.)

R: At least I am not being an unwelcoming host.

Am: I am starting to think that this story isn't going to be about them, (Amistad whispered as she leaned over to the author.)

A: Of course it is, (she defended) just we have to see what happens for them to get there.

Am: Hmm, (she doubted the author as Riku and Ursa bickered.) I guess we'll just have to. (She and the author waved good-bye to the cameras as they began to pull away.)

U: Hey, wait, what about my bio? You've posted other's, but not mine.

R: Maybe she finds it too troublesome, (Riku grumbled under his breath, but Ursa hear him and began to argue with him once more forgetting her question and demand.)
