Salem had finally won. After all the struggles, she had her victory. No one left to stop her, she had all the relics. Of course, she lavished in snapping Cinder's neck before disposing of her body as she outlived what use had for her. It would not matter of Cinder lived any longer…as they would all be getting the sweet release of death.

It had been a week since…and Remnant still stood. At least the planet did…now a desolate land with little sapient live. Still laying the ditch that the Brother Gods put her in…was Salem. She did not have the motivation to move since that day. The Gods simply eradicated all the humans again living and dead…but left her alone taking the relics with her. Her mind was slowly processing…and it sank in her.
They left her alone to stay on Remnant while leaving the world behind for good. All she wanted was to die! That was the whole point of everything she did, and they could not grant her the release he asked of them. She got up in anger cursing their names, but meaningless words simply hung on the air as she fell on her knees.
"I'm all alone again…just living on an empty planet with no Gods to call on or to curse." Salem said as she began laughing.
The only sound aside from the emptiness of the desert wind around her that no one but herself could hear. No one could see the tears streaming down her face. No witness to crack in Salem's mind splintering. Just existing in a world that's empty.
(A/N: What's stopping the Brother Gods from doing this to Salem? Absolutely nothing. A fitting tragic end to a show full of promise. The idea was inspired by someone in a Discord server, and it led to this creation. Props to that guy.)
