Angel was pushing the twin pushchair as Curtis walked along with a trolley. They did not know where Ianto had gone but were not worried as they were happy in one another's company. Angel loved Curtis, more so now that both had a baby. He was kind, loving and didn't fuss. He even let her change his baby too, told her when she was doing it right and clearly knew she was not stupid. By the time her baby came she was confident and ready, little Harry a wonderful teaching tool and Curtis every bit as calm and gentle as Ianto with advice. The two were besties.

"There you are" Ianto said as he appeared at the end of a row, the shopping basket full of toys. "This baby store is sooo bad for my shopping fetish."

"A fetish is it?" Curtis giggled.

"Oh yes… well… Jack says so. I am always… excited afterwards" Ianto said then enjoyed his look of horror. Then Curtis realized Ianto was playing with him and laughed, slapping at him and calling him a cad.

As they got to a display of dummies Angel rushed for them "Tonny wanted some just in case."

"Of course, he loved his" Ianto agreed sagely as he turned to watch a discussion talking place with the women behind the counter. Of course, being Ianto he wanted to make sure the comments were not about his Angel so he wandered over and smiled.

"What do you think about this new flu, they say it came from birds?" one of the women said to him and he frowned.

"Flu?" he is a bit sheltered in the village, maybe he needed to poke his head above the trenches this time.

"Apparently… only in the Asian countries thank god… but this new flu is going around and it sounds horrible. People are dying" the woman sand with wide eyes "But how long before it reaches our shores? I think we should be more careful with who we fly in."

"Come on, it's just the flu. These counties without proper healthcare, living in squalor and filth anyway… we will never get to that stage. It's the FLU!" the other woman argued and Ianto politely took his leave, wandering back over to the kids … yes… they were all kids to him… as his mind went over the conversation.

By the time they were at the food court for some snacks while the babies slept, Ianto had the phone in hand scrolling the news feed on this flu. He did not like this, not at all and if he knew anything… it was to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

He had another stop to make before they left the city.
