Jack sat with Owen who was softly rubbing his shoulders as he said repeatedly "You can do this. You can both do this. No one else is as bloody qualified as you two... this baby needs someone who can do the hard yards… you can ado the hard yards. Come on… one more."

"So small, helpless and fucked up… why do the gods do things like this to such precious little souls" Jack was crying, greet heaving sobs as his heart broke for the little baby that had been abandoned by their parents… by the gods themselves.

"Maybe… maybe the gods are not absent here" Owen said after considering "did you ever think of the possibility that this baby was placed here for you? Only you two? Of all the hospitals, of all the places… times… Ianto's last trip… last one and there he is when that little baby is there waiting for someone to love them. Only five percent worldwide… here is one right here… right now… in the lap of the Rainbow Doctor as the teens are calling him."

Jack nodded and sighed "Hawk… he was the baby… he will be hard."

"Who knows… he might surprise you." Owen smiled as he sat back "did he not choose the name? Another hawk? Like a Hawk? Like him? I would say he's claimed this one as his sidekick myself!"

Ianto was trying to work out how to tell the village and did not factor in the Toninator. Of course… he was on it.

"So you see, Shay had boy bits and girl bits so the mummy and daddy didn't want them" Ton had the shop full of Biddies, their mouths open as he explained calmly why there was another new baby in the house "Because Taddy knows all about trans things and stuff… we can wait for Shay to decide if they are a boy or a girl… like Babs did. Or they might like being both… who knows. That will be Shay's choice when they are old enough."

"Poor little mite" someone said softly.

"So… I do not want to mix the blue and pink to make a colour for them.. that's not fair. As Shay will be non binary and may choose to live their life as such… some do ya know" Ton told them calmly.

"So.. colours?"

"All the colours of the rainbow. Let's not try all of them" Ton said grandly and the Biddies all nodded.

"When do we get to meet… them?"

"They, Them or Hir…. That's right… I will bring hir in next time with Tony" he promised.

They all gushed happily as their lovely boy never let them down.
