Knights of the Otherworld

By Ten-Faced Paladin

Chapter 35: Fairy Tale Dawn

Things...things look pretty dark right now. I mean, the Knights are winning, but what happened to Blade Knight…

I know, Brooke, I know. It's terrible, but remember that it was an accident.

In an epic tale, many horrible things can happen. It's another test for the heroes to overcome and become better for it.

It's still horrible that it had to happen to such good people though...

Book End - Streets

Ginger fretted as she ran for the Book End Library. Everything was going crazy! That Toxic Knight appeared and challenged her boyfriend to a duel. She was, well, not content, but willing to wait at the Beanstalk Bakery for the duel to finish. Of course, that was when Black Knights and their Psycorogues began laying siege to Hocus Latte. Many people ran, as did Ginger, although she knew where to go for protection and answers.

'Rex, please, please, be okay,' she silently prayed.

Mirror World - Book End Streets

Sounds of metal clashing against metal echoed through the empty street as Toxic Knight and Odin continued their duel. Odin's swords clashed against Toxic Knight's claws. Although there were roars of monsters and battle elsewhere, Odin and Toxic Knight were focused entirely on one another.

Odin had to admit that Toxic Knight was skilled, despite his unusual weapons. His actions were precise and well-timed. Toxic Knight was clearly someone who had been trained in the arts of knightly combat. Odin also took notice of how he held himself, being a strict adherent to knightly codes of conduct.

As both broke apart, they regarded each other.

"I have to confess a curiosity about you, Toxic Knight," Odin requested.

"What would that be?" asked Toxic Knight.

"How someone such as yourself can come to side with someone such as Whyte Knight," Odin replied. "He clearly doesn't seem to care about knightly conduct. He seems more concerned with conquest and claiming more than he already has."

Toxic Knight was silent for a moment, "...The one I am sworn to has sided with him so I must pass my services over to him."

"I see," Odin nodded. "You said your name is Brendan Hautdesert. You are not related to Bertilak Hautdesert, the Green Knight, are you?"

Toxic Knight sighed, but nodded, "Yes. The one who challenged the entire Round Table survived his beheading and shamed Sir Gawain. He is my grandfather."

"A former knight who sat at the Round Table, but was enchanted away by Morgan Le Fay," Odin recalled the tale. "So she's involved in this as well if she lent your abilities to Victor."

Toxic Knight said nothing.

"Your silence is telling," Odin remarked, but said no more as he charged with his swords once again.

The two continued to clash in the street, sparks flying from their weapon strikes. As they continued to duel, Odin felt like he was getting a better read on who Toxic Knight was. He saw integrity in combat, fairness, and conduct befitting a knight. Perhaps this Toxic Knight wished to redeem his name? Odin wasn't sure, so he'd have to think about it later. Right now, he had to focus on their duel.

As they continued to fight, another figure crept onto the scene. Its armor showed it was another Black Knight, but the accenting was different. Its chest panels were red with silver accents. It also had three gems set in its forehead and ear-like decoration on the sides of its head. The cosmetic look showed it was a specialized unit, one contracted to a different monster and not the standard Psychorogue.

Reaching to its belt, the Black Knight drew two cards before beginning to slash them through.

[Shoot Vent!]

In a haze of blue, a gun appeared in the Black Knight's hands. It was silver and had a strange shape, making it appear more like a tail or a similar appendage. Holding it in its right hand, the Black Knight slashed its second card.

[Snipe Vent!]

A targeting reticule appeared in the Black Knight's visor as it zoomed in on Odin's back.

"Terminating," the Black Knight spoke as it carefully took aim and prepared to pull the trigger.

Toxic Knight continued to clash with Odin, focusing on nothing but their duel. It was easily one of the greatest challenges in his life and despite being commanded to do so, the Scorpion Knight was actually enjoying himself. Challenging Odin was an excellent test of his abilities, just as challenging Verde was a test of his ability to adapt to the battlefield.

Parrying a blow, Toxic Knight found something sparkling in his field of vision. Eyes moving to it by a reflex, he gasped when he saw a figure aiming a gun at Odin's back.

"LOOK OUT!" Toxic Knight cried, shoving Odin out of the way.

"Wha-?!" Odin gasped.

*BANG!*

"GAAAAHH!" Toxic Knight cried as a blast of sparks erupted from his chest armor. He stumbled back, dropping to one knee. His armor was visibly cracked and smoking from the shot. He groaned, clutching the wound. It didn't feel lethal, but it was definitely going to leave a mark.

"Toxic!" Odin cried, he turned and spied where the shot came from and found the Black Knight. "Coward!"

[Advent!]

Hopping out of the alley came a Deadlemer. Getting up from its crouch, it and its monster charged towards Odin, shooting at him. The Phoenix Knight grunted, deflecting the shots with his swords. Both were quick to reach him, swinging to strike at him in a bid to take him down.

"Gr! Begone!" Odin roared, swinging at the Deadlemur. His swords crashed against its armor, knocking it back. The Black Knight directly behind it began shooting, catching Odin in the chest with several rounds. He grunted in pain and stumbled back. Both enemies charged at him while he lifted his swords.

[Swing Vent!]

The Black Knight was suddenly knocked back, struck in the chest by Toxic Knight's Scorpio Whip. The Deadleamer balked and jumped back while the Black Knight twitched, with venom leaking into its systems.

"You curs!" Toxic Knight grunted, approaching the battle. "Again I am denied an honorable duel!"

"I assume you knew nothing about this plan?" Odin frowned, eyeing the pair in front of him.

"No," Toxic Knight scowled and drew a card, his gold emblem surrounded by green light. "And I would very much like to show my displeasure."

"Go ahead," Odin permitted, crossing his arms. Toxic Knight nodded and slipped the card into his Visor.

[Final Vent!]

Rascorpio appeared with a clicking hiss, charging towards the battlefield. Toxic Knight exhaled before he leaped into the air. As he was in the air, Rascorpio got close before lashing out with its tail. It struck Toxic Knight, sending him spinning into a corkscrew kick. He shot at the Black Knight and the Deadlemur, crashing into both and sending them sprawling before they exploded in a haze of fire.

Toxic Knight rose, short of breath, "My apologies. It seems my current king wishes to win by any means necessary."

"Maybe you should consider finding better employment," Odin suggested when he noticed the pixelated particles rising from his opponent's armor and his own. "Looks like our time here is almost up."

"So it is," Toxic Knight sighed, seeing the same. "Another time then."

"Another time," Odin agreed. Both Knights parted ways to find their own exits from the Mirror World.

Ever After High - Library

Calibur Knight scanned her surroundings, the library littered with scrapped and wet pieces of multiple Black Knights. One was barely functioning, twitching, and spasming as it lay on the ground. She put it out of its misery by crushing its head beneath her boot.

Vortigern had obviously sent them to punish her for her defection. It probably hurt his pride knowing that she had pledged her allegiance to Arthur even though he had given her the Advent Deck.

"My King's in danger." She needed to be out there to support him. As she was about to leave, her way was barred by the wicked librarians.

"And where do you think you're going, missy?" one of the librarians demanded. "This place is a mess! Clean it up this instant!"

"I fight in the name of my king. War is upon us. A few dirty and wet books are the least of your concerns," Calibur Knight responded coldly, walking past them to leave the library so she could find where her king was.

Book End - Streets

Knight grunted as his blade clashed against Perfect Knight's. Whoever was wearing the suit now, it definitely wasn't Rebellious. This new Perfect Knight clearly possessed significant skill, physical training, and knew how to use it. Knight was finding himself on the back foot since the battle began, blades lancing in the air as the two fought.

The two locked blades, glaring at each other.

"Yield!" Perfect Knight commanded.

"You first!" Knight snapped as he kicked Perfect Knight in the stomach, breaking them apart. Once he had breathing room, he drew a card from his deck and strong winds blew.

"Ah, that's the one I want to see," Perfect Knight nodded. "Show me your full strength, Wing Knight!"

"Be careful what you wish for," Knight warned as his Dark Visor evolved to its Zwei form. He swiftly inserted the Survive Shippu into it and drew the sword.

[Survive!]

As Knight changed to his Survive form, Perfect Knight nodded in appreciation, "I see, I see. You truly are what they say you are. The next Lancelot and chosen prince of Apple White. Only a knight with a legacy so grand could court someone like her."

"It was my legacy which got me approval, but it was my skill, my heart, and my achievements which earned her love," Knight replied.

"Well said," Perfect Knight approved, drawing a card. "Now, allow me to match your level of power!"

Knight stopped, "Wait, what?"

[Unite Vent!]

Knight was expecting the same centaur-like configuration used by Rebellious in their last battle but this Perfect Knight was about to do something different instead.

Bicolius broke to pieces and combined with Perfect Knight to form a suit of power-up armor. He now sported broader pauldrons, thicker gauntlets, reinforced greaves with pointed toes, protective faulds, and a new chest plate that had his emblem emblazoned in the center. Finally, Bicolius' head also draped over his helmet, finishing the transformation.

"Fused Warrior Perfect Kaizer!"

[Sword Vent!]

Perfect Kaizer summoned his Bicolance and brandished it before pointing it at Knight. In a surprising burst of speed, Perfect Kaizer struck Knight, knocking him back in a blast of sparks. Knight grunted as he was thrown back but he managed to stay on his feet. Again, Perfect Kaizer rushed at him but Knight was able to dodge as his opponent ran past him. The Bicolance nearly gored him at that speed. Turning around, Perfect Kaizer tried again but this time Knight was ready as he swung his Dark Blade, catching the Bicolance. He then delivered a slash across Perfect Kaizer's reinforced chest plate before he unleashed a combo of slashes. Perfect Kaizer countered with a vicious strike that sent Knight tumbling.

"Darn it," Knight grunted. This Perfect Kaizer was definitely a challenge. He needed an advantage or else he was done for. He opened the panels on his Dark Blade's guard and inserted his Trick Vent.

[Trick Vent!]

Knight split into five copies, all of them charging for Perfect Kaizer. The Rogue lifted his weapon and swung his lance with precision and speed, able to block and parry the strikes from the multiple Knights. Through several strikes, Knight managed to strike against Perfect Kaizer, but his clones were destroyed with surprisingly precise and timed strikes. Both backed away, smoke coming from strikes to their torso armor.

"I gotta admit, you're better than Rebellious was," Knight huffed. "You know him?"

"We were close," Perfect Kaizer admitted. "However, he was never truly talented in the art of heroism. He could take instruction, but in his constant need to show off, he disregarded many skills he needed in favor of ones which would make him look better, provided he could perform them."

"Sounds like him," Knight shook his head. "So just how did he get the last Perfect Knight deck?"

Perfect Kaizer snorted, perhaps amused or wanted to remove the shame from his title, "He and I went to different schools. He went to Far Far Away High while I entered Charming Academy. He was desperate to be popular and so claimed my achievements as his. Victor, unfortunately, believed him and passed him the deck."

Knight just had to gape, "Seriously? He fell for that? Then why are you here?"

"I'm here to clean up the mess he caused and that starts by defeating you!" Perfect Kaizer declared. Gripping his Bicolance, he charged for Knight once again. Knight raised his sword and charged back. The two met again, weapons sparking off each other. Knight could feel it in his arms though, but fusing with Bicolius, Perfect Kaizer was just as strong as Knight was in his Survive form. It was going to be a test of skill rather than power and Perfect Kaizer already had an advantage thanks to his more extensive knightly training.

As Knight fought, Apple watched, feeling completely helpless. She wished she could do something to help, but she did not have magic like Raven. That was something she envied about Raven, that she could support her prince. Instead, Apple was stuck on the sidelines.

Knight was knocked back by Perfect Kaizer. Huffing, he swiftly sheathed his sword before taking another card.

[Blust Vent!]

Darkwing swooped through a window with a screech before evolving into Darkraider. Flapping its wings, the monster's wing turbines roared to life before unleashing a storm of wind. Perfect Kaizer grunted and was knocked back by the gale, giving Knight some needed breathing room.

"Downside to that little power-up of yours," Knight huffed. "You're really on your own. I, on the other hand, still have my partner with me."

"Admittedly, that is a drawback," Perfect Kaizer admitted. "But I knew the risk when I used it against you." He pulled himself up to his feet, "But in your current armor, I couldn't afford anything less. The news coverage of your squabble with Rebellious made that clear."

"Then let me show you how I finished him off." Knight boasted, drawing his next card which he instantly activated.

[Final Vent!]

"Hah! Challenge accepted!" Perfect Kaizer agreed, drawing his own card which he slotted into his Perfect Visor.

[Final Vent!]

Darkraider soared down and Knight leaped onto its back. The monster swiftly converted into a motorcycle, allowing Knight to roar down the road at Perfect Kaizer. The Rogue merely held out his Bicolance like a true jousting lance and began charging back at Knight. Darkraider's engine roared before firing a beam of paralyzing energy. Perfect Kaizer did not hesitate, and the beam splashed off of him as a dark golden aura in the shape of Biocolius appeared around him.

"Okay. The hard way then!" Knight roared before his cloak surrounded him and his monster, beginning to rocket down the street.

"HA!" Perfect Kaizer bellowed, the aura causing him to glide and likewise fly at Knight. The two high-speed attacks struck each other head-on.

*BOOOOOM!*

"Lancie!" Apple cried in fear as the street was engulfed in an explosion from the two attacks meeting.

Knight flew back from the explosion with a cry of pain, Darkraider tumbling through the air nearby. Both hit the ground and Knight's armor shattered off while Darkraider devolved, flapping wildly on the ground. On the other end, Perfect Kaizer flew like a rock, cratering the street where he hit. His armor broke off, reassembling into Bicolius while his actual suit shattered off. Both let off groans where they lay on the ground while their monsters attempted to recover.

Lance groaned as Apple ran to him.

"Are you alright?" Apple asked her boyfriend as she helped him to her feet.

"Mostly, yeah," Lance groaned, feeling sore all over. "Kiss it to make it better?"

"If you can joke, then you're fine," Apple replied, relieved. Her eyes traveled over to the young man lying in the crater in front of them.

He stood up, despite clearly being in pain. He had broad shoulders and a fine physique worthy of a prince. He wore a black and gold letterman jacket with a horse emblem, likely for his school. His hair started as black but turned white at the tips. He had a darker skin tone, a natural tan, and bright green eyes. He also sported a red vest and jeans with sneakers. Oddly, he wore greaves over his shins and gauntlets under the sleeves of his jacket.

"Looks like this ended in a draw," he said.

"What's your name?" Lance questioned.

The young man shifted his weight as Bicolius moved to help him, "My name's Dashing Charming. You can ask your Princess Knight's girlfriend about me if you want to know more. We are family after all."

Lance nodded as Apple helped him to stand, "Fine, I will. So, what? Does this mean you're going to retreat to lick your wounds?"

"Regroup," Dashing corrected as he mounted Bicolius, which proved to be a challenge due to his pain. "You should do the same, rest and recover, until the next time we meet, Sir Lancaster." He slapped his monster's flank and it took off with him.

"Count on it," Lance vowed. He groaned as Dashing vanished around a corner. As Darkwing took to the sky again to go home, Lance leaned a little heavier against Apple, "Apple Pie, I'm sorry, but think we could get to the library? We've gotta regroup after all this."

"Of course," Apple nodded. "Okay, here we go. One foot in front of the other." So began their slow trek back to the Book End Library.

"How about we hail a cab instead?"

"Good idea."

Ever After High - Rose Garden

"AWOOOOO!"

"YAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Verde and Stripe Knight both howled as they lunged at each other and grappled in midair. They kicked at each other as they descended, landing on their feet before breaking apart. Verde went low to sweep Stripe Knight's feet but he jumped over the sweep and backflipped to land on his hands before he started to spin on them, swinging his legs outward at Verde who had to back away from the spinning kick attack.

"Hoh!" Verde rolled back in a reverse somersault. Landing on his feet, he jumped at Stripe Knight with a flying kick. The Rogue copied Verde's move as the Chameleon Knight flew overhead, both quick to get to their feet.

"I see your kung-fu is as good as mine!" Stripe Knight praised, taking a stance.

"I picked up a few tricks," Verde nodded. "You're not half bad yourself. So, what's this thing you said about war?"

"Ah, something about the boss wanting to steal the one group of stories not connected to his family in his homeland or something," Stripe Knight shrugged. "I wasn't paying attention. I mean, do you see how cool these suits are? Getting to go out and fight monsters to protect people? How happily ever awesome is that?!"

"Yeah, it is awesome, being armored superheroes," Verde agreed. "But you're on the wrong side, man."

"Yeah...I kinda figured with him wanting to steal stories and all that," Stripe Knight nodded. "But I figure he's just cuckoo. I mean, who can really steal a story? Nope, I figure he's doomed to fail and all that. I'll just keep an eye on things and if he starts doing evil, then the Stripe Knight will reveal his true intentions and bring him down!"

Verde scratched his head, "Then...why are we fighting?"

Stripe Knight shrugged, "Gotta keep up appearances so my cover isn't blown, of course. Now, leeeeet's get ready to ruuuuuumble!" He swiftly drew a card from his deck and slotted it into his knee-mounted Visor.

[Sword Vent!]

Stripe Knight lifted his arms and a pair of gauntlets appeared on his arms, each one having a blade extending from them. Verde thought the gauntlets looked familiar, making him wonder if Stripe Knight's contract was as obvious as he thought.

"Well, the show must go on and all that," Verde shrugged, activating his own card.

[Hold Vent!]

Gripping his Bio Winder, Verde charged into the fray once again. He threw the Bio Winder but Stripe Knight smacked it aside as he charged. Retracting his weapon back into his hand, Verde leaped over Stripe Knight and spun in the air before landing behind him. He threw a punch but Stripe Knight pivoted and blocked with his gauntlet before throwing a jab into Verde's chest, knocking him back. Verde recovered and threw a kick at Stripe Knight who blocked with his forearms but Verde threw a powerful haymaker, breaking through his guard to land a punch across his jaw. He then jumped and performed a reverse roundhouse, sending Stripe Knight backpedaling.

Stripe Knight shook out of his daze and charged at Verde who threw his Bio Winder. Stripe Knight raised his arm to deflect it but the cord wrapped around his arm instead.

"Get over here!" Verde gave a tug, pulling Stripe Knight toward him to plant his foot into his face. This snapped Stripe Knight's head backwards and he went down.

"Oooooh, lookit the pretty birdies…." Stripe Knight mumbled in a daze.

"You okay?" Verde asked, looking down at Stripe Knight.

"Ahm okaaaayyy," Stripe Knight mumbled. He wiggled like a noodle for a moment before he managed to get up, his legs like rubber. "Go-good hit dere. Imma done noowww. Good faght Vee..Ves...Ver-Verde! Real quick-like."

"Ah, do you need me to take you to the nurse or something?" Verde wondered. How hard did he hit the poor guy?

"Ahm fahne," Stripe Knight waved him off. "Gonna….ginnna go sleepy now….Donkeh!"

Verde jumped when a Mirror Warhorse, one which was striped like a zebra, emerged from the pond. Stripe Knight climbed on but lay on the horse's back before he mumbled something and the horse dove back into the pool. Verde wondered if he should have at least tried to take his deck, but everything was just going so weirdly he had to see how it ended.

"And there goes the weirdest Knight I ever did see," he shook his head. "Still, a war? Merlin ought to know what to do, or at least have a clue."

With a shrug, Verde turned back to the hedge maze to find Lizzie. She likely wouldn't be happy about their date ending early, but he would feel safer if she was behind Merlin's protections.

Enchanted Forest

The battle in the Enchanted Forest between Raia and the Weaver Knight was...not exciting.

Once Harry had transformed and Briar was out of the way, Weaver Knight decided to act. Summoning his Dis Striker, he had his multiple spider limbs start stabbing out at Raia or blocking his attempts to fight back. All the while, Weaver Knight just stood with his arms crossed, letting his extra appendages do the actual fighting for him.

The legs extended, hacking and slashing through the trees to get to Raia who was forced to evade them. They were fast and limber, preventing him from getting close to Weaver Knight.

"Really wish Tristan was here," Raia muttered as he took cover behind a tree. Zolda's ranged weapons would be super effective.

"You know, if I'm the spider, you're the fly, so this makes this forest my parlor," Weaver Knight said as he used his Dis Striker's legs to walk, his body suspended over the ground. "So, come out, come out, little fly."

"Alright then," Raia said as he took out his Copy Vent.

[Copy Vent!]

Weaver Knight heard that and turned his head to see Raia charge at him with a copy of his Dis Striker. Weaver Knight lashed out with his spider legs but Raia parried with his own as he used them to close the gap between them.

"Hyah!" Raia punched Weaver Knight across the face, striking him with the edge of his Evil Visor. This sent Weaver Knight spinning as he momentarily lost balance. He shook his head and rubbed his jaw as he glared at Raia.

"So, spider on spider, huh?" Weaver Knight questioned.

"Guess you've met your match," Raia remarked.

"Hardly," Weaver Knight snapped his fingers and all of a sudden there was a scream. Raia watched in horror as Dispider emerged, holding Briar in a silk cocoon, with only her face exposed and gagged. She looked terrified.

"Briar!" Raia yelled.

"Should've taken her off the board before you took me on," Weaver Knight taunted. "Yeah, you sent her running, but my spider managed to catch her."

"Let her go!" Raia demanded.

"Why?" Weaver Knight tilted his head. "I can use her to win this fight and then once I bring you down I can carry her off into the sunset. Once word gets out she's been kidnapped, one of her parents will likely petition someone to save her. Tradition dictates the reward will be her hand in marriage. Then I can bring her home, conveniently forgetting what I did, and then I get an easy Happily Ever After."

"And do you think Briar will go along with it?" Raia growled. "She'll tell everyone what you did."

"Well, there are potions and spells that can erase some inconvenient memories," Weaver Knight shrugged nonchalantly.

Most would have turned furious at the mention of someone casually drugging their girlfriend. Raia nearly was one of them. For a moment, he wanted to lunge at Weaver Knight and throttle him for even suggesting such a sick idea. Still, Raia was the thinker between himself and his brother. With Weaver Knight holding Briar hostage, he held all the cards right now.

But all Raia needed was one card to change everything. Reaching to his belt, he touched the first card on top of his deck.

"Oh, no, I don't need you drawing one of those Survive cards," Weaver Knight warned, lifting his spider legs.

Raia froze, but his glare was still on Weaver Knight, "So what's your plan now? You can't just leave with Briar. Everyone will come after you."

"You're the only witness left," Weaver Knight pointed out as he drew his Final Vent, showing the card to Raia. "All I need to do is eliminate you."

Raia scowled, "Just try it."

Weaver Knight chuckled as he opened his Visor and slid the card inside, "Say goodnight, Sir Raia."

[Final Vent!]

Raia heard the announcement and braced himself but it had not come from Weaver Knight's Visor.

All of a sudden, Ryuga came flying out of nowhere, bathed in onyx flames. He delivered his Dragon Rider Kick, scoring a direct hit as he struck Weaver Knight square in the chest. The force of the Final Vent caused his Dis Pack's spider legs to buckle and break as he was thrown violently to the ground.

As Weaver Knight lay sprawled on the ground, Dragblacker roared and struck Dispider, causing it to drop Briar. As she fell, Ramona swiftly caught her in her arms.

"A villain saving a princess. What's the world coming to?" Ramona joked as she tore off Briar's gag and started to cut her free.

"Max? Ramona?" Raia questioned as the Black Dragon Knight turned to face him.

"We were in the neighborhood," Ryuga answered. "It was pure luck that we spotted that Dispider hulking through the woods."

"Darn it," Weaver Knight cursed as he picked himself up and found himself facing two Knights of the Round Table. "Well, so much for that plan." He whistled sharply and the Dispider jumped across the clearing, landing nearby and moving to Weaver Knight's side.

"Hey, Harry. I think this is a chance for you to get some payback," Ryuga encouraged his comrade. "It's your right, after all."

"Yeah, it is," Raia agreed as he pulled open his Evil Visor to insert his Final Vent before sliding it close.

[Final Vent!]

Raia jumped on top of Evil Diver and rode it like a flying surfboard as he went straight for Weaver Knight and Dispider. Weaver Knight scrambled, showing the first signs of real panic and exertion as he slipped a card into his Visor without even seeing what it was.

[Guard Vent!]

Weaver Knight and Dispider immediately began firing webbing. For the knight, it was from his Visor while from the spider, it was from its mouth. They quickly created a wall of webbing to defend themselves against the incoming attack. Raia and Evildiver crashed into it, causing another explosion. Weaver Knight and his Dispider were thrown back, landing in heaps, but clearly alive.

"...ow…" Weaver Knight groaned. With a grunt, he reached behind his back for something before he pulled out what looked like a scroll. "Victor's minder had better not have been joking with me." He tore open the scroll and threw it to the ground.

The scroll flashed with a magic circle before a large mirror rose up from the middle. Seeing his chance, Weaver Knight whistled for his monster before he dove into the glass. The Dispider didn't need any more encouragement and managed to pull itself to the glass, vanishing into the surface.

"Oh no, you don't!" Raia soared for the mirror as well, but as the Dispider vanished, the mirror went with it, vanishing in a puff of smoke. "Curses!"

"Don't worry," Ryuga said calmly. "You'll get him next time and you'll be ready for him."

"Yeah," Raia nodded but he was still left dissatisfied. "Briar!"

"I'm fine!" Briar waved as she stood beside Ramona. There were still strands webbing stuck to her dress and hair but she was otherwise fine. It didn't stop Raia from running to her side, or Briar from hugging him in relief.

"You two should head on over to the library," Ryuga suggested.

"And what about you?" Raia asked.

"We're headed to Book End," Ryuga answered. "Only Arthur's unaccounted for now and so is Whyte Knight. I have a feeling he's gonna need some backup."

Book End - Municipal Park

As opposed to fighting in the street, Whyte Knight had enough knighthood in him to take his battle with Ryuki to the nearby municipal park. It had enough space for their battle and no one would get in their way. It played to Whyte Knight's ego, wanting to ensure Ryuki would have no excuse for his future defeat except for Whyte Knight being the obvious superior.

As opposed to Raia's battle against the lazy Weaver Knight, Ryuki's battle with Whyte Knight was kicked up to eleven. Both had their swords out, clashing against one another. Around them, small fires were lit or portions of the forest were covered in ice. Above them, Dragredder and Dragwhyter were tearing at one another in an attempt to overpower each other.

Arthur sent Raven away to find help while he held off Whyte Knight, knowing that his Rogue counterpart was now truly going over the line. One more swipe of their swords had both step back to get some breathing space.

"Victor, are you insane?" Ryuki yelled at his counterpart. "War? You're sending your group to attack all of my friends in town? Are you aware of how much damage that could do?!"

"Collateral damage. It happens all the time in war," Whyte Knight answered, not caring about the consequences. "And it is a price I will happily pay to lay claim on my rightful destiny!"

Ryuki growled, "Destiny this, destiny that! I am so sick of people like you using it as an excuse to do whatever they want!"

"As your grandfather had told you, he abandoned his destiny! If you had not shown up, it would've been mine and none of this would have been necessary!"

"Are you serious!? You're blaming me!? You were the one who started all this!" Ryuki shouted. "Are you so desperate to be like your ancestor you're willing to put lives in danger? For what? All for a story which faded into obscurity?!"

"It's rightfully mine! I deserve to rule Camelot!" Whyte Knight shouted back, pointing his sword at Ryuki. "My ancestor conquered nearly all of Britain and now I shall complete his work and allow my line to rule all as they rightfully should!"

"You're not answering my question," Ryuki frowned. "You just keep ranting over and over about how you deserve it, or some variation of it. Do you even know why you need to conquer Camelot, or are you just some programmed tool for your family's collected ego?"

Whyte Knight growled, "My ambition is my own! Camelot is the highest beacon of power and royal might! It cannot be left uninhabited! If your grandfather refuses to do his duty, then I shall and reap the rewards for it!"

"So it's all about pride. Typical," Ryuki shook his head. "You're willing to disrupt the destiny that so many others hold dear, cause chaos, destruction, and risk lives just so you can put an even bigger crown on your head and declare yourself a greater king than the ones before? Then what comes after your destiny?"

"Then I will rule and make Camelot in my image!" Whyte Knight declared. Again, he didn't say anything about what he would do with Camelot. He merely made a declaration of claiming it, not making anything with it.

"You know, my grandfather told me my destiny was my own, that I could choose to live my life how I wished. I don't even want Camelot," Ryuki said as he went to draw a card. "But I won't allow someone like you to claim it!" He drew his card, summoning flames that surrounded the two.

Whyte Knight growled and quickly drew a card, "I won't let you use that again!"

[Steal Vent!]

The flames surrounding Ryuki suddenly blinked out and his Survive Card vanished, "Wh-what?!"

Whyte Knight chuckled, holding up his hand which held Survive Rekka, "I told you, what you think is yours will just become mine." He held his arm with the Whyte Visor out, clearly expecting it to transform like Ryuki's Drag Visor did. Only nothing happened. Then the card fizzled and evaporated. Whyte Knight blinked, looking at his now empty hand. "What devilry is this? Why can't I use Survive? I had the card!"

Ryuki sighed in relief, "My best guess, you haven't earned it. Some things in the world you just can't take, you have to prove you deserve it. Unlike you, I know there's a difference between the two."

Whyte Knight clenched his fists in anger, "Again you mock me! You mock my ambition! You mock my claims! You mock every move I make!"

"I only mock someone when they're being stupid!" Ryuki snapped back. "If you just said you wanted Camelot, I wouldn't have cared. The Storybook of Legends was the only way for you to get it, and the book is gone. Instead, you decide violence, fearmongering, and war will get you what you want. Have you ever considered drawing Caliburn from the stone? Somehow convincing the Lady of the Lake to grant you Excalibur? Those are the keys to King Arthur's story."

"If that wench Vivi hadn't betrayed me, Excalibur would have been mine," Whyte Knight growled. "But instead I'll force her mother to hand it over by using her daughter as leverage!"

Ryuki sighed, "And one more reason why I have to stop you. You honestly can't do anything unless you can take something from someone or use violence, can you?"

"Might makes right. It worked for my ancestor so it will work for me," Whyte Knight justified, drawing another card.

"Strength comes from friendship, bonds of trust," Ryuki countered. "Using what power you have to make others fear you will inevitably fail when they unite against you."

Whyte Knight scoffed, "Then I will just claim supreme power!"

[Strike Vent!]

He summoned his Drag Claw and threw a punch, sending a blast of frost energy at Ryuki. The red knight leaped out of the way, letting the beam of frost cover everything it passed in ice.

[Strike Vent!]

Arming himself with his own Drag Claw, Ryuki unleashed a gout of flame at his counterpart. Whyte Knight was quick to retaliate with another stream of cold. Both met in a blast of steam which covered everything around in a haze. The fog thickened as the temperatures cooled, turning the haze to fog and obscuring almost everything from sight.

Ryuki didn't dare speak, didn't dare make big movements. In this cloud, he needed to keep his movements light to keep Whyte Knight from sensing him. He also had to focus on his own hearing until the cloud lifted, perhaps knowing where Whyte Knight ended up.

He was suddenly assaulted from within the fog by a blast of frost. It came out of his blind spot and Ryuki was frozen in a block of ice. The fog cleared, revealing Whyte Knight and once he saw that Ryuki was frozen, he laughed victoriously.

"Ha...haha...Yes! Hahahahahaha! Finally!"

No, his victory was not complete. He could not claim Camelot into the one true obstacle in his destiny was destroyed. Approaching the frozen Ryuki, he raised his Drag Claw to smash him to pieces when he was suddenly hit by a strong torrent of water which swept him away.

Whyte Knight knew who was responsible and growled. As more of the fog cleared, he saw the blue armored form of Calibur Knight revealed.

"Vivi..."

Calibur Knight barely gave Whyte Knight a passing glance. Instead, her focus was entirely on Ryuki. Raising her hand, she blasted her frozen king with hot water to thaw him out.

"My King, are you alright?" Calibur Knight asked as Ryuki shivered.

"Cold...so cold..." His teeth chattered under his helmet.

"Do not fear, My King, for I am here. Allow me to finish your enemy for you." Calibur Knight did not see Raven. Obviously, the Evil Queen's spawn had fled, leaving her king behind. What a coward. Well, that should prove she was unworthy of him.

"Witch!" Whyte Knight cursed as he fired at Calibur Knight who fluidly weaved between the frost blasts as she crossed the distance between them. She struck him with a wave of her hand, blasting him with a high-pressured sphere of water.

"Vortigern, you have proven time and again how you are unworthy of Camelot. Though you have strength and ambition, you fail to see it's true value," Calibur Knight said.

"Spare me your lectures, traitor!" Whyte Knight roared.

"I think I shall spare you since obviously you are too dense to understand your own flaws!" Calibur Knight huffed, swiftly drawing a card and sliding it into her Aqua Visor.

[Liquid Vent!]

Calibur Knight's entire form shimmered before it splashed, turning into a puddle of water that sank into the grass. Whyte Knight stopped, looking around in confusion. He was swiftly rocked from the side as a humanoid stream of water crashed into him, knocking him silly. He barely got his feet under him before another stream rocketed up from his front, giving him a hammering uppercut to his chin. Stumbling back further, he shook his head only to be sideswiped by a third stream.

"Grah! Enough!" Whyte Knight snarled. "Dragwhyter!"

The white Drag-type roared and broke free from its fight with Dragredder before it breathed across the battlefield, coating everything in ice and snow. One portion of the area swiftly moved, condensing into Calibur Knight who avoided the breath and rapidly drew a card.

[Sword Vent!]

Calibur Knight summoned her Aqua Sabers, charging for Whyte Knight.

[Sword Vent!]

Both Rogues fought, exchanging blows as they went back and forth, sparks flying as their swords clashed violently. Calibur Knight managed to parry Whyte Knight's sword away and prepared for a thrust, but Whyte Knight swung and punched her, knocking her back with a yelp. He didn't let up, slashing her across the chest several times before kicking her away, sending her sprawling on her back with a groan.

"And now you shall pay for your treachery, Water Witch," Whyte Knight raised his sword to execute Calibur Knight.

"Hey, Whyte Knight! Leave her alone!" Whyte Knight spun to see who had spoken and was surprised to see Raven Queen a few feet away, her hands and her eyes blazing with purple magic. Whyte Knight opened his mouth to either threaten or mock her, but he never got the chance as Raven lashed out with her magic. No speech, no posing, just her raw desire to remove the threat to her boyfriend. The spell struck Whyte Knight directly and in a flash of purple and white, he disappeared. The grass wasn't singed nor was there a pile of ashes, indicating Raven had moved him rather than harmed him.

"Whew," Raven slumped over. Her legs felt weak from using that much magic at once. She glanced at where Calibur Knight was sitting up. She walked over to her, clearly concerned, "Are you okay?

Calibur Knight's eyes widened as Raven offered her hand, "H-how? Wh-why did you come back?"

"Arthur sent me away since he didn't want me to get caught in the crossfire," Raven explained. "But I'm no damsel-in-distress, so I snuck around to try and hit Victor with a teleportation spell to end this before it got too bad."

"You saved me," Calibur Knight uttered, unable to believe it.

Raven shrugged, still offering her hand to Calibur Knight, "Look, Vivi, you're a pain in the butt, but you're under Arthur's protection. I couldn't let him kill you."

Calibur Knight looked at the hand and took it but she did not stand up. Instead, she knelt before Raven and removed her armor.

"I, Vivi Dulac, the next Lady of the Lake, pledge my allegiance to Raven Queen, daughter of the Evil Queen, and will serve her until my debt has been paid," Vivi swore and she kissed Raven's hand. "I am yours to command, My Queen."

"Er...what?" Raven blushed awkwardly. She had expected gratitude, but nothing to this degree. "Arthur!" She pulled her hand away and ran up to him to see how he was doing. "Arthur, are you OK?"

"Just cold," Ryuki shivered. Nothing a warm shower and some hot coffee couldn't fix. "But I'm getting better. What happened to Victor?"

"I used a spell on him and sent him away. Hopefully, I sent him someplace awful with no reflections," Raven sighed.

Ryuki nodded as he managed to get his footing back. Looking at his girlfriend and Vivi, he stopped when he saw adoration coming from the Rogue and aimed at Raven for a change, "Blackbird, why is Vivi staring at you like that?"

"Well…"

And so the first battle of Whyte Knight's war comes to a close. Defeated once again and losing two of his soldiers in the process.

And yet the Knights of the Round Table did not escape unscathed. For the first time, they saw how cruel people could be and experienced the nightmare of war.

Mom, Dad, this...this isn't right. How could someone be this bad in one of the stories? These are fairy tales. How could anyone let Victor get like this?

Who can say? The destiny of a conqueror is to desire more until they reach their end. When faced with the grim possibility of his next conquest being taken away, he took matters into his own hands.

Still...someone has to stop him. Are the Knights getting help?

Well, let's see. As many of the Knights clutched those they loved tightly or fell into dark dreams of the day, the Knight of the Phoenix sought out his Candy Princess in the calm night within the Enchanted Forest...

Enchanted Forest - Gazebo (Night)

The day ended at long last and the Knights of the Round Table returned home, some more bruised than others, but they remained whole. The Order of the White Dragon was in full retreat and even lost a member as Marine Knight was once again defeated and his deck confiscated. Book End was severely damaged in many places and people were confused as to why it happened. Blondie was doing the rounds, trying to report what she knew and Mira was helping her, reporting who won their fights.

Somehow, the death of Blade Knight never came up. It was hard to say if anyone aside from witnesses even noticed.

Still, the victories did not come without scars.

Victor and his Order of the White Dragon's attack on the Knights of the Round Table had left a scar on them and all because of the death of Blade Knight. Rob was traumatized as he had indirectly gotten him killed by breaking his Advent Deck. An action that caused his Terabiter to devour him in front of everyone. Gabe was also affected after hearing the story. While the same age as them, he was a lot more innocent and sheltered. Now, he was too scared to even transform which would be bad since this would leave Metalgelas hungry and it might revolt as a result. Kyle and Tristan seemed to be feuding as well, due to their different approach to handling enemies. Kyle was more ruthless and Tristan wanted them to be just but fair.

The others were, well, not unscathed but taking things as they came. Darling seemed to be in a depression when she heard a new Perfect Knight named Dashing was counted among the enemy. Arthur himself was stewing on how Whyte Knight nearly brought him down if it weren't for Vivi and Raven coming to his rescue. Sadly, it also proved how obsessed Victor was with his goal if it meant he could claim Camelot. Claim, but clearly had no intention of ruling it. It seemed he just wanted another feather in his crown and something to brag about instead of inheriting whatever kingdom his line already had.

It was sickening to see ego and obsession create such a maniac.

And then there was Blade Knight himself. Despite his desire to claim Nina and Faybelle for himself, he could have been manipulated by Victor into joining his order. Also, even as a villain, he still didn't deserve to die like that. He had been a teenager, a kid, like them.

"It's really that bad, huh?" Ginger asked as she sat in the gazebo with Rex. He had asked her to come to meet with him that night, to talk. Everyone was feeling the pressure from the day, wondering what would happen next, and needing someone who loved them to talk to. Rex was no exception.

"Yes, it is," Rex confirmed after telling her how everyone was coping after the battle.

"Poor Rob. Poor Gabriel," Ginger said sympathetically. "I wish there was a way we could help them but it's not like we can undo what happened."

"Actually, there is," Rex said as he pulled out his deck and retrieved perhaps his most dangerous card and placed it on the table for Ginger to see.

"'Time Vent'? Rex, what is this?" Ginger asked, staring at the card.

"It's a special card, one which only I possess. It allows the user to control the flow of time and by that I mean it can let me rewind time," Rex explained.

"Rewind time...!?" Ginger's eyes widened. "Wait, Rex! You don't mean that you could actually undo everything that's happened, do you?"

"Not undo everything. I was actually thinking of resetting the day. It wouldn't stop Victor from launching his attack but maybe I could use this to spare my friends from experiencing their trauma," Rex said. "But it's not a decision I can make just like that. There are still repercussions."

"What kind of repercussions?" Ginger asked.

"Can you imagine what kind of power this card has? To allow me to control time. That's god-like power, Ginger. It's too much for one man to hold responsibly. What if, after I use it this one time, I start abusing it?" Rex questioned.

"You won't abuse it, Rex. I know you. You have a pure heart," Ginger told him. Rex took all the power he had since becoming a Knight very seriously. Even some princes in the school who were supposed to be valiant heroes would have played with some of the abilities the armor granted.

"But it feels like I'll be controlling their lives," Rex agonized.

Ginger nodded, hugging Rex's arm, "You just want to help your friends so your heart is in the right place. You can still decide not to use it. Your friends may need time to heal but you can get through this together."

"But someone died, Ginger. Rob can't have that on his conscience and Gabriel is scared to death right now," Rex reasoned. "Something like this could break them and they may not be able to function properly because of it. It'll make them vulnerable. I'm responsible for them." He put his hand on the card and she put her hand over his.

"Then trust your best judgment. I know you'll be able to do it," Ginger supported. "I trust you."

Rex gazed into her eyes and nodded. Yes, his best judgment and he should trust it. If there were consequences, he would shoulder them himself.

"Thank you, Ginger. I know what I must do." He took the card and then grabbed his Advent Deck to transform. Using his MirrorPhone, he held the deck to the screen to summon his belt. "Henshin!"

In a flash of gold, Rex was adorned in the armor of Kamen Rider Odin. He pulled down the cover of his Visor's card chamber then put in the Time Vent card. His hand rested on the cover for a moment as he took a deep breath before he slid it close.

[Time Vent!]

Book End - Streets

The streets were alive with the sounds of battle as Lash Knight and Blade Knight did battle against Imperor and Scissors. Nearby, Zenobiter and Terabiter did battle against Gigazelle and Volcancer, letting the humans fight each other. In the midst of it all, Lash Knight seemed to be trying to seduce Imperor while Blade Knight was asking what he felt were important questions.

"So, your little fairy girl," Blade Knight spoke as the locked weapons."Tell me, have you claimed her maidenhood?"

"W-what!?" Scissors gaped. What kind of question was that, especially in the middle of a fight!?

Blade Knight nodded in apparent satisfaction, "Hm, so she's still a virgin. Perfect."

Scissors saw red and kicked Blade Knight in the stomach. He grunted before Scissors slashed him across the chest, knocking him to the ground.

"Do not talk about Nina that way!" Scissors snapped as he brought his claws down but Blade Knight rolled out of the way before picking himself up.

Blade Knight merely chuckled, "C'mon, you've had your chance but you're clearly not man enough for her. How about you just give up so I can show her the pleasures of the flesh? My sister could teach you how to pleasure a woman too."

"Dude, how sick are you?" Scissors demanded. He didn't think anyone in Ever After was so depraved. This world just seemed so wholesome. Looked like there was a dark side if it could produce people like the Rogues. Then again, he was made aware of the dark origins of fairy tales. They weren't always so child friendly.

"Now, I think it's time to end this. I'm sure my sister will take care of you while I tend to your lovely fairy as my own," Blade Knight grinned, hefting his Tera Rang over his shoulder.

"Dude, you really are pressing all my buttons here," Scissors huffed, lifting his Scissors Pinch.

"No, my sister will do that," Blade Knight chuckled before he charged.

The two swung at each other, their weapons sparking as they struck. It became quite clear though that Blade Knight had training with weapons as nobility or a prince. Worse, he knew how to play dirty. He swung at Scissors' head, who naturally ducked. As Scissors rose to strike, Blade Knight just kept spinning and let his elbow strike Scissors in the head, knocking him down with stars in his vision.

"Rob!" Nina cried.

"Oh my dear, you really need to give up on him," Blade Knight shook his head. "It will be my name you'll be crying out in ecstasy before the day is through!" He turned and looked to Scissors who was shaking his head to try and get his senses back. "Observe, my superiority!"

Scissors lifted his Scissors Pinch for a desperate swipe…

Golden feathers began to fall from the air, making everyone stop their battle in confusion. Imperor and Scissors blinked but began to grin when they realized what was happening. The Rogues, and their monsters, likewise were confused before the feathers started striking them, exploding in painful bursts, knocking them back with cries of pain.

"Wh-what is this?!" Lash Knight cried, trying to swipe the feathers out of the air.

"Me!"

[Sword Vent!]

Lash and Blade Knight spun around before they were both struck across the torso by Odin and his Gold Sabers. Both were knocked back, nearly falling over.

"Rex!" Nina and Faybelle gasped in surprise.

From another street, Ginger ran onto the scene, slightly out of breath, "Is everyone okay?"

"Ginger?" Nina blinked. "Oh, I think we'll be okay now. How did you two get here so fast?"

"We were going on a stroll through town when Rex heard the sounds of the Mirror World and followed them here," Ginger explained. "I'm glad we were able to get here so fast."

"O-Odin?" Blade Knight gasped. "How? Toxic Knight should have pinned you down!"

"He apparently missed me," Odin answered. "Now, either surrender or be forced to surrender."

Lash Knight tittered, "Oh ho ho, my handsome Knight, I do not submit to anyone. They submit to me!" She swiftly drew a card and slipped it into her Lash Visor.

[Trick Vent!]

Lash Knight suddenly split into five, all of them cracking their whips before they charged for Odin, "Submit!"

Odin tilted his head as the five approached. As they got close enough to attack, he suddenly vanished in a haze of feathers. The five Lash Knights stopped in confusion. Odin then reappeared near one of the Lash Knights and backhanded her in a blast of sparks. She cried out in pain and fell back, shattering. One by one, Odin would teleport and smack them, sending them sprawling as they broke to pieces. The last was Lash Knight herself who yelped when Odin hit her, making her fall back from the surprising force in a simple backhand.

"Hitting a lady! What kind of Knight are you?!" Lash Knight cried, holding her cheek.

"You raised arms at me and wear the armor and name of a Knight," Odin replied, turning to face Lash Knight. "On this battlefield, you are no lady. You are my opponent and I will treat you as such."

"Oooooh!" Lash Knight cooed, getting to her feet. "Such a naughty boy! I will enjoy disciplining you!" Getting up, she slotted another card.

[Swing Vent!]

Lash Knight was armed with a second whip, this one styled after Zenobiter's antennae. Wielding both, she charged once again.

"Sister, wait!" Blade Knight tried to stop her.

Odin huffed and lifted his swords as Lash Knight charged at him. She struck, expertly swinging her whips. Odin charged back, he dipped and twisted around the lash strikes before promptly teleporting again. Lash Knight spun around, anticipating a strike from behind. Instead, Odin teleported a few feet forward, putting him at Lash Knight's back. He swung both blades, striking Lash Knight in the back. She screamed and fell to the ground.

"You…you!" Lash Knight rolled over but suddenly found Odin next to her before he pressed her down with his foot. "Guck!"

"BRIANNA!" Blade Knight cried.

Lash Knight struggled under Odin's foot, but he merely pressed down harder to keep her pinned down, "I won't repeat myself again. Surrender, or be forced to surrender."

Lash Knight writhed under Odin's boot, panting audibly. Blade Knight feared his sister was being pressed so hard she could not breathe and was in pain. His first instinct was to strike at Odin and try to make him let his sister go. To do so would risk his sister's well-being though…

*Eeeeeeeee!*

"HAH!" Toxic Knight roared as he out of a mirror with his Toxic Visor as he slashed at Odin. The Phoenix Knight raised his sword, blocking the strike and being forced to back away.

"Blade! Lash! Withdraw! This attack has failed! Go!" Toxic Knight ordered.

Blade Knight nodded and quickly ran to his sister's side. They and their monsters retreated to the Mirror World. As they fled, Lash Knight looked over her shoulder at Odin. Unseen by anyone, she licked her lips adoringly as Odin and Toxic Knight faced each other.

"Sir Odin…" she whispered longingly.

Odin merely eyed Toxic Knight, "Come to retrieve your comrades?"

"Yes. I had hoped to challenge you to a duel, but with you interrupting their battle, my orders have changed," Toxic Knight answered. When the tone of the two Rogues vanishing into the Mirror World sounded off, he began to back away. "Another day perhaps?"

"Another day," Odin agreed. "Come when ready."

"I shall," Toxic Knight nodded as he backed against a window. "Until then, Knights of the Round Table." He then backed into the glass, disappearing.

Odin sighed and looked at his friends. As he watched their girlfriends run to them, he silently felt relieved that the trauma of how the day originally went was never inflicted. Blade Knight was still alive, although that would likely be a pain later. It was better than his friends imploding from within from either fear, anger, trauma, or a desire to retaliate. They wouldn't know that pain now and hopefully not until they were ready for it.

To ensure their unity would remain, Odin would carry that burden.

"Hey Rex, let's head back to the library!" Scissors called. "We need to figure out what's going on!"

"Right," Odin nodded, joining his friends and lady love.

Does...anyone feel a sense of deja vu? I feel like we were in this spot before.

Considering the number of fights, likely we have seen it before.

Good thing Rex was nearby. It looked like that Blade Knight had an edge over Scissors.

Yuck! What a creep, talking about Nina like that! I hope he gets what's coming to him! Wait a spell, Dexter is up to something.

Ever After High - Tech Club

"You actually picked one up?" Humphrey asked as he studied the Black Knight head on the table. This tech was way advanced, more advanced than anything they had ever seen.

"I need to know what it knows. If we can extract any data, maybe we can find out who's making these things and backing up the Rogues," Dexter reasoned.

"Just promise me we can study this thing for its tech after we're done," Humphrey hoped. "I only ever heard of robots like this out of stories!"

"Fine, just help me hook it up to a computer so we can access its CPU," Dexter instructed.

And Dexter's brains prove to be as valuable as everyone else's brawn! Did anyone else think of trying to collect a piece of those Black Knights? Nope! Go, Dexter!

Brooke, calm down. I know these fights have been a little tense…

Tense nothing Honey. Some of them got rather close. If it weren't for their inexperience, it may have gone worse.

Then the Knights of the Round Table will just have to step up to make sure they remain victorious.

A/N: Well, the assault of the Order of the White Dragon's assault has come to an end. They got some licks in, but the Knights of the Round Table managed to fight them off. It says something about Victor's selection process on who he considers worthy of being knights in his Order.
