Tiny but ruthless is the best way to describe Percy, except only Carter, Sadie, Zia, Sally, Bast, Julius and Amos are allowed to talk about how tiny she is. Also, Percy gets very offended by certain types of taunting.

Undeath9087: Setne is going to be important later, but it will not go even remotely as it did in canon. And yeah, Percy's just like 'Well this is happening. Screw it.'
Ryan Fowler: Ye, Percy's very pissed off, like 'I would be kicking your butts but you had to possess my sisters grandparents! That's playing dirty!'
Guest: Honestly, the gods opinions on Percy are fairly flexible- she shouldn't exist, Osiris likes her because obviously Julius is a very strong influence, Horus and Isis sort of respect her to a certain extent- and even like her a little bit, Set secretly really likes her because we all know that Percy is a being of pure chaos at times and he vibes with that. Babi and Nekhbet are fighting her so they're gonna be throwing out insults and shit at her, most of them are sort of wary but they appreciate the fact that she is on their side if that makes sense.
Guest: Percy is nine years old, she's gonna think her big siblings having romantic stuff in their lives is gross. She doesn't really get it at this stage because of her age.
Guest: Sadie is 13 currently. I do get the concerns with the Anubis thing, but I can't really figure out how to get around that, if that makes sense- Walt and Anubis need to merge or Walt dies, and I do understand the argument that Anubis just hasn't really grown- kinda like Calypso if that makes sense

Thankfully once the four girls were actually in the Underground they managed to get onto a train before any guards or anything- of which there were surprisingly few- could stop them.

Soon they were slumped on a bench in one of the trains as it lurched away into a dark tunnel- it probably wouldn't give them much time but it would give them some breathing space.

And Percy took the chance to focus on Sadie's friends- Percy and Sadie were a bit winded yes, and a bit dirty from dust and debris but they had held up pretty well all things considered- and Percy realised that that was because they- unlike the two other girls, were sadly used to having to run for their lives.

Emma and Liz looked like wrecks though, Emma's feet were cut and blistered from running barefoot, her pink jumper looked like mangled poodle fur and her glasses had lost several rhinestones.

And Liz' face was bright red- she'd taken off her denim jacket and her white top was blotted with sweat.

There was a long moment of silence as everyone caught their breaths. It was Liz who broke it, her eyes wide as her gaze focused on Sadie. "That boy kissed you!" and Percy couldn't help it. Now really wasn't the time- it wasn't, but a burst of laughter slipped past her lips despite her best efforts.

"That's what you ask?" she shook her head as Sadie let out a laugh too.

"I- can we not talk about that right now. I'm processing." Sadie paused, "I- did Percy-"

"She told us." Emma nodded, "It sounds totally crazy but we kind of have to believe it right?"

"I'm sorry." Sadie's shoulders slumped slightly, "I know I'm a horrible friend for dragging you both into this." she paused, "Percy, I''m going to try and summon my bag but if I can't-"

"Keep my staff until you have yours." Percy finished for the other girl. "I have my sword and my wand." she held up both so that Sadie could see and the other girl nodded, propping the staff up between them as she closed her eyes and reached out- and Percy resisted the urge to whoop with victory when Sadie's hand disappeared into the Duat- and a moment later she pulled her hand free, and in it was her bag.

"Oh that's brilliant." Emma burst out, "That's- like, magic right. Percy told us."

"Thank you." Sadie's smile was shaky, she looked like she was going to cry- "I- I never expected you to find out- not like this."

"Your life sounds pretty crazy." Liz shook her head, "It must be so weird for you. I mean three months ago-"

"Three months ago I was a normal girl." Sadie let out a weak laugh, "And now I'm a magician. And it sounds so stupid-"

"Does not-"

"Yeah yeah." Sadie ruffled Percy's hair, "Just because dad taught you all this already doesn't mean it doesn't sound totally stupid-"

"You've changed." Liz spoke up suddenly, "I mean- I've never heard you talk so seriously about anything and I didn't think you'd ever-"

"Get along with my baby sis?" Sadie gave a slight smile, "Can't blame you for that- I was kinda stubborn for a while- but hey it was hard to keep at it when I was forced to be around her for ages-"

"I'm cool like that." Percy declared, pressing into Sadie's side slightly. "No one seems to be able to resist my adorable childish charm." she gave a toothy grin which made both Liz and Emma laugh.

"She is cute." Emma laughed, shaking her head, "And it's not just that you're getting along with your sister. You seem older somehow. More mature I guess." and her voice was kind of sad. Percy wasn't sure she understood it- but she could see Sadie's expression turning sad too.

"Your boyfriend is amazing." Liz spoke up suddenly, clearly trying to ease the sudden tension.

"He's not my-" Sadie went red, clearly struggling for words before she shook her head, "I don't even know what he is okay?"

"If he's not yours can he be mine?" Emma shot Sadie a teasing smile that made Percy giggle, and Sadie gave her friend a dirty look.

"No." And she probably would have said more but the train was slowing and Sadie glanced at one of the signs, cursing suddenly, "Oh gods. I meant to get off
at London Bridge not Waterloo! I need a bridge."

"Can't we backtrack?" Liz asked quickly.

A roar from the tunnel behind them answered that question. Looking back, Percy saw a large shape with glittering silver fur loping along the tracks. Its foot touched the third rail, and sparks flew; but the baboon god lumbered on, unfazed. As the train braked, Babi started to gain on them.

"No going back," Sadie said. "We'll have to make it to Waterloo Bridge."

"That's half a mile from the station!" Liz protested. "What if it catches us?" And Percy glanced at Sadie, who gave a small nod as the younger girl shoved her khopesh in the Duat and grabbed her staff while Sadie pulled her own staff out of her bag- it expanded to full length instantly, lion-carved tip blazing with golden light.

"Don't be too excited Percy." Sadie gave a tight smile, "We're fighting with handicaps."

"Eh, it'd be boring if I could go full out. I'd whoop their butts in five seconds."

"Of course you would." and as the train pulled to a stop the girls bolted- Percy didn't exactly get the chance to look around but from what she saw briefly, as they pushed through crowds of people trying to escape, Waterloo Station was huge, it had a polished marble floor dozens of shops and kiosks and a glass and girder ceiling high enough that a helicopter would be able to fly inside of it comfortably. Rivers of people flowed in and out, mixing, separating, and occasionally colliding as they made their way to various escalators and platforms.

In any case it wasn't easy, even as they made progress- Percy earned several dirty looks and yelps when she resorted to stomping on feet and kicking shins to get people to move- which earned her some admiring looks from Sadie's friends and she heard Liz mutter.

"She's tiny but she's ruthless."

Unfortunately as they reached the main station and rushed towards the nearest exit a stairwell behind them exploded.

Crowds scattered as Babi climbed from the rubble. Businessmen screamed, dropping their briefcases and sprinting for their lives.

Percy grabbed Liz arm as Sadie grabbed Emma's, both of them yanking the less experienced girls to the side, pressing up against a kiosk to avoid getting trampled by a group of tourists yelling in Italian.

Babi howled. His fur was covered with grime and soot from his run through the tunnels. Sadie's gramps' cardigan was ripped to shreds on his arm, but, miraculously, his glasses were still on his head.

He sniffed the air, probably trying to catch their scents. Then a dark shadow passed overhead.

"Where are you going, Little Kanes?" Nekhbet shrieked. She soared through the terminal, swooping down on the already panicked crowds. "Would you fight by running away? You are not worthy!"

And Percy twitched, her eyes narrowing as she let go of Liz' arm- and she could see the way Sadie's face shifted- they were tucked out of sight, they were safe, at least for a few seconds. And Sadie knew how Percy was.

"The 8:02 train for Basingstoke will arrive on platform three." the voice was robotic- the announcers voice- it was almost comically calm given the chaos in the station.

"Percy-" Sadie hissed the words, "Don't you dare-"

"Sadie. You know the rules-"

"No- no don't give me the stupi-" but it was too late because Percy was ducking out from their hiding spot, gripping her staff tightly as she ducked and dodged through fleeing crowds, until she could leap on top of yet another kiosk- it had been turned over in the chaos.

Nekhbet spotted Percy as she did that, swooping down towards her, "Here! The little one!"

"I am not little!" And Percy pushed herself up, crouching and then launching herself into the air, flipping over Nekhbet and landing on the goddesses back- and she could hear shrieking from down below as she fastened her arms around the goddesses neck- though it was awkward as she clung to both the neck and her staff and let out a scream. "SADIE! Get your friends out! I'll deal with Neckbutt!" she couldn't hurt the goddess- but she could make it impossible for her to track Sadie and her friends-and Babi on his own wouldn't be able to keep up with them.

Percy gritted her teeth as Nekhbet started to thrash, trying to toss Percy from her back- though Percy was far too stubborn and strong to just get tossed off.

She winced when Babi let out a roar, swatting a bronze statue of someone and knocked his head off- and to make things worse Percy saw a policeman rushing forward armed with a pistol- he fired a shot at Babi. Percy couldhear Liz and Emma screaming. The bullet deflected off Babi's fur as if it were made of titanium, and shattered a nearby McDonald's sign. The officer fainted dead away.

"Get off of me!" Nekhbet shrieked the words, "Get off of me you halfbreed-"

"Yeah because that makes me want to hop off." Percy ground out, wrapping her legs around the goddess tightly- and dear gods but it was hard to hold on- her arms were aching from the strain as they were yanked from side to side.

She let out a shriek as Nekhbet surged upwards- and Percy's eyes widened when she realised what the goddess was doing- flying straight towards one of the girders girders-and Percy jerked backwards, shifting her grip on Nekhbet so that one arm was wrapped around the vulture goddesses neck and slapping her free hand over the goddesses eyes- which on one hand, was useful because it made the goddess swerve away from the girder- which meant that Percy wasn't about to get decapitated by it- but it also meant that the goddess was tossing and turning wildly- and if it had been hard for Percy to hold on before it was more than hard now, it was almost impossible- but she didn't know what else to do- she was held back, she couldn't risk hurting Sadie's gran or she'd be beating the goddess over her head right now- and she couldn't see what was going on below her either. Which was probably good because they were very high up and Percy was pretty sure that if she fell from this height she'd turn into a Percy pancake.

Of course it was just as she had that thought that her grip around the goddesses neck slipped and she started to fall- she could hear the sound of Sadie screaming as she started to plummet towards the very hard marble floors.

Percy tightened her grip on her staff, screwing her eyes shut tightly as she focused, picturing herself transforming- the last time she'd done this she'd ended up passing out not much later- but to be fair that had been after the whole battle with Set- and she felt the familiar tingling/burning sensation in her finger tips and arms- a strange contrast against the cold rushing feeling of her fall- and then she opened her eyes- her vision was sharper- and she flapped her arms- her wings- and she soared upwards- she'd done it just in time- if the transformation had taken any longer she'd have probably smashed into the floor and possibly died. As it was Percy soared upwards- and for the first time since she'd leapt onto the goddesses back she saw what was going on below her- and it wasn't good-there were dozens of baboons- Percy could only assume that Babi had summoned them0 though there was one good thing- Sadie had clearly managed to pull something out of her sleeve because all around the station inanimate objects were moving, flying around, smashing into the baboons- and Percy stared in awe as backpacks, briefcases, magazine racks, gums sweets and everything you could think of flew around the huge room, targeting the two gods and the baboons.

The bronze head that Babi had decapitated had got it's revenge by smashing into him and knocking him through the roof of a Body Shop- and a tornado of newspapers had engulfed Nekhbet- who was flailing trying to shake them off.

"PERCY!" Sadie screamed her name and Percy soared towards her sister, landing on her shoulder as the older girl grabbed Liz and Emma and they made a break for it.

It was as they made it out of the terminal that Percy was most shocked- and Liz and Emma had seen the same thing as her because Liz gasped.

"Look!"

"Oh well done Sadie!" Emma's voice was relieved, and Sadie turned her head and her gaze focused on what the others had spotted too- an extremely short, scruffy man standing at the end of the drive in a black suit, holding a placard that read KANE.
