The flu was rampant. Deaths were starting to add up and Ianto did not like this one little bloody bit, just a flu my arse. He was wool gathering on the entire thing when he heard a noise, turning to find Animal, Mountain and Skidmark in the office watching him as he scrolled through the news feeds "Boys?"

"Um… I know we are shut but… ah…"

Ianto sat back and frowned as Animal looked furtive "Ah… Boss… me old granny… she refused to believe it was anything dangerous and would not come with me … she's all alone."

"How close is she to it? To a cluster?"

"In a little village like ours, nothing there or nearby but it's hit two villages over and one of her fiends has died so…she's saying she wishes she had come here when it was offered and was crying down the phone to me… she's scared and all alone now … I don't know what to do. If I leave I know can't come back but… I can't leave her like that." He sighed.

Ianto rubbed his face and cursed softly "Right. You tell her she has to get a negative test from the doctor and then we take it from there. I want to see the negative result first… sorry Animal I can't risk it for one person. Not my babies."

"Thanks boss" he lit out of there to call her and Mountain turned back to Ianto.

"Go tell Fen and Frankie, if that result comes back we will want to go get her toot sweet, a chopper is the best way as no human interaction or checkpoint stops then… a quarantine house I guess until Owen runs more test and we get another negative result?" Ianto shrugged.

"On it Boss."

"You said yes?" Jack asked from the doorway "I was… reluctant."

"Me too but, the thought of an elderly lady on her own right now… no one to care for her as he did all of that and she is unable to get out herself… I didn't really have a choice. Besides. Animal is a good boy."

"Right, a quarantine house… also… I want the boys in gloves and masks… even if they hate it, I want the protective gear on" Jack went to lay down the law to his son and Fen's best mate.

They did not want to bring the thing into their village.

But Ianto was right… no one should be alone now.
