Days had passed, things had changed. People had gotten closer, expansions were made, and new pursuits were had. Lapis would be arriving that very morning.

Blake had awoken early to feed her fish and get out to tend to her gardening. While watering her flowerbeds around her capsule home, she heard footsteps. She turned to see Adam, outside his fast-food uniform, and with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder.

"Morning." She said sheepishly.

"Hey. I came to see you before I leave town." Adam said to her surprise. "I paid off that debt I had so I could finally leave that job."

"Oh, what will you do now?" Blake asked.

"I'm going to the mainland to get my scarred eye fixed up, thinking of becoming an adventurer. Travel around, be odd jobs, and make a go out of it. Hopefully out of XanTech's eye and off the grid." Adam said as Blake raised an eyebrow.

"What do you have against them?" She asked concerned.

"It's more what my counterpart did to the CEO…which was killing their parents. I swear he's trying to be civil with me, but I'm seriously afraid he's going to tear my head off. He literally has my counterpart's several head along with the mask and sword as trophies." Adam said as Blake balked. "Yeah. For what it's worth, it's was good to make peace with you, but I guess this is goodbye. I got a flight to catch."

Adam left her going on his way.

"Good luck…and goodbye." Blake said before hearing a blaring ship horn.

Weiss awoke to hearing a ship horn as she groaned. She wanted to sleep in snuggled up to her lover, but alas…the morning called.

"No…I want more waffles…"

Weiss turned to said lover snuggled up talking in his sleep. Tommy could usually get her chuckling. She woke up in a way fit for a sleeping prince.

"Weiss…what time-"

The blare of the ship horn got him to groan in annoyance. The two simply got dressed before coming outside to see the ship. The others would be coming out of their homes to see a three-story yacht in the docks, and then they saw the flags.

"XanTech. Looks like we got a bigwig in town." Yang said.

"Eh. I'm going back to bed." Nora said dragging Ren back inside. "I want breakfast."

Kaiser and Isabelle were already on the docks as it docked, RWBY arriving to get a closer look at the ship.

"Kaiser, did Robbie…"

"Not his. This belongs to one of the bosses of XanTech." Isabelle explained.

"The big one?" Ruby asked. "I've hear-"

"The big-oh, you mean Mr. Azure. No, he doesn't live in this universe. Two of his teammates, who are CEOs as well, live in this universe…and he and another live in the other one." Kaiser said as she made her presence known. "That's Lapis Kristal."

Lapis was a lithe one but rather fit woman in her early twenties who towered over Team RWBY with wavy cobalt blue hair (that had bits of red in it) and cyan eyes. She wore an ocean blue rolled up, long sleeved untucked dress shirt with dark blue tie with the XanTech logo on it, dark blue suit slacks, black dress boots, and a silver iFruit Link watch on her right hand.

"Ms. Kristal." Kaiser remarked politely.

"Mr. Remnants." Lapis said relaxing her stoic expression. "I know you're ready for the party. We're leaving for it."

"Oh I am!" Kaiser said excitedly. "Isabelle's been itching to poke around the other verse…get out some aggression."

Lapis faced Ruby next telling her that she has someone who wants to see her and Yang. Then she finally got off the boat, Summer Rose. She hugged both her daughters. Tears were shed…mostly on the side of the daughters. After losing Summer Rose and missing her…she was back in their sides.

"I missed you both so much." Summer said.

"We did too…" Yang said as they were wiping their tears.

"But there's one thing you're going to have to take in. I've been on this planet for a while…longer than you guys…and long enough to remarry." Summer said as Ruby and Yang looked shocked by the news. "And here he comes."

Yu Ayashi came out with the suitcases. Blake whistled in appreciation at him, as he was a rather striking figure with his well-built physique. She stood about as tall as Summer did being rather tanned with auburn hair and slight beard. He wore a bright blue tunic, a long white tailcoat with blue accents, long white pants with blue belts, a blue bandana around his head, dark blue fingerless gloves, a wedding band on his right index finger, and brown boots. His lavender eyes were hard but the grin on his face was wry.

"Hello there. You must be her daughters that she spoke so much about. I'm Yu. Yu Ayashi." Yu remarked.

Ruby was eyeing the morning star whip on Yu's left side with excitement.

"Ah, a true admirer of weapons. Just like your mother said you were." Yu said gently.

"Anything about our parents?" Weiss asked Lapis.

"Yeah, I got some bad news. Your family didn't get split counterparts, all ended up in the other universe…and your parents divorced." Lapis said as Weiss sighed.

"Why am I not surprised?" Weiss mulled.

"And mine?" Blake asked.

"We can confirm yours are exclusive to this verse, but we're having trouble finding them." Lapis said as Blake looked surprised.

Everyone except for Kaiser, Isabelle, and Lapis left the docks.

"Make sure you get yourself ready, we're leaving shortly." Lapis said as Kaiser nodded.

Soon enough, himself, Isabella, Robbie, Rei, and Pyrrha were all on the dock ready to board the ship. Jaune was pouting at the fact he could not go and asked Robbie why he only asked for Pyrrha.

"Because Pyrrha has the most broken semblance. And…"

"If Pyrrha is to come, use of her semblance must be to a minimum." Lapis said icily as Pyrrha nodded. "But I do want to ask to implore why Jaune can't come. Considering yacht parties are powder kegs for drinking, hooks up, and the like. Because I won't exactly mind Jaune coming."

"Really?" Jaune said.

"You can be my plus 1." Lapis said with a faint smile. "But if you excuse me, I need to see someone. Go ahead and board the ship."

As Lapis flew into town with her water wings, Summer was unpacking her things in her new shared capsule home with her husband. Ruby and Yang were helping to unpack as well.

"You'll love it here. There's a cave with monsters to fight, there's fishing, bug hunts, and gardening. Though the sun is a bit…hot. You need a parasol to avoid tanning in the sun." Ruby said awkwardly.

"Oh my little rose petal, I've been doing plenty hunting. Me and Yu are globe-trotting adventurers. We've been to several high-profile places all over this world." Summer said putting up several framed collectables. "I've also fought my share of monsters."

"Is that a King Slime crown?" Ruby asked excitedly seeing one in Yu's hand.

"Yep. If you wear it, you can summon slimes to fight for you." Yu said giving it to her. "Only green ones though…it's pretty basic."

The green ones may have been the weakest ones, but Ruby still found it cool to just summon Slimes in general. She was not going to complain about the gift because it was free meat shields to keep her alive.

"And as for you, Yang. I figured you should have something too." Yu said revealing a pair of brown gloves with silver metal on the knuckles. "Metal Knuckles. Something for you to bolster your punches. Basic, but reliable."

She took them up before putting on to try them out feeling an added weight to her punches.

"Thanks." Yang said plainly. "I appreciate it."

"Just doing my part. I know this is going to be a bit awkward for us all." Yu said sheepishly.

As the Ayashi-Rose family were relating, Lapis had arrived at the Black household to aid in keeping to her promise. Healing Ella was not too hard, simply removing the bacteria from her lungs to fully open her airways. Ella was able to get up and take a deep breath without hacking up.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" Cinder said hugging Lapis.

"Deal's a deal. We'll get ready to depart." Mercury said as Emerald turned to Ella.

"We'll need to watch the twins while we're away on a bit of a business affair of my husband's." Emerald said as Ella nodded. "And don't worry, we'll bring back souvenirs."

Emerald and Mercury would bid their goodbyes before leaving with Lapis for her yacht.

"Jaune, you're going to need a code name while you're over in that alternate verse considering it's very likely that world's Jaune is coming. Miles…will do just fine." Lapis said before taking control of the ship.

The yacht shook before floating up into the sky propelled by rockets before beginning to glow before vanishing in a flash of light. Zoey took to the mayor's desk having been put in charge of things while he's gone.

"Now that I'm in charge, I'm going to wear the hat." Zoey said putting on the mayor's top hat. "Man, that's feel so right."

Blake came into the office to deliver something for Kaiser that Zoey stashed away.

"So, any word about your parents?" Zoey asked.

"Yeah, they're in this universe, but XanTech hasn't found them." Blake said as Zoey assured her only for Rover to run in.

The dog guard exclaimed to get ready as pirates were seen on the horizon. Zoey got out the shotgun from under the desk and cocked it. Blake ran back to her home to get her weapons as the alarm was blared. Those who could not fight all shuttered to their homes as the able were readying to defend their homes.

"I want to fight!" Cinder insisted.

Ella gently held Cinder closer to her insisting that she calmed down. Ella was holding it would not come to that. Outside, Nora was twirling her hammer eager to go to war. Ren was pretty angry that his morning nap was ruined.

The ship was closing as the 'captain' had a bullhorn.

"People of this island, drop your weapons and sur-"

"Wait, father?!" Shinji said before taking Zoey's bullhorn and using it, "Father, is that you?"

"S—Shinji?!" Gendo said surprised. "You're here too!"

"I was enjoying myself until you showed your face, old man! I was happy and then you showed up. I was thinking you were dead!" Shinji said.

BLAM!

Everyone could hear the gunshot, but none of the islanders had fired. Gendo looked down to seeing a bullet wound where his heart was. He dropped the bullhorn and turned around only to get punched by the shooter. Gendo would fall into the sea as the shooter took the bullhorn.

"Shinji!"

Now that was a voice Shinji wanted to hear.

"Misato! Man, am I glad to see you."

"We're boarding the island, and you put your weapons away!" Misato said.

Zoey took back the bullhorn from Shinji. The ship would come to dock as Blake was surprised to see among the crew were her parents. Zoey was happy for Shinji and Blake, she supposed. But now the question came…how to deal with the pirates?

(A/N: I'm happy to return to this fluffy series. I had to give the yacht party to which I'll be getting to quite soon. Gendo shows up, only to die so Misato can take over. Next time we get back to this series, it'd be when Kaiser and company return from the party. Also, I've settled on Tai and Qrow, they'll be in the GTA story with Raven. You'll be seeing them soon.)
