I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Carmelita, or any of the Kubo and the Two Strings characters.
"Well, hello, Kubo," said Kameyo to the boy, Kubo, then laughing.
"How was it today?" Kubo asked Kameyo.
"It wasn't a bad crowd," Kameyo replied, looking at her bowl, reaching into it, she said, "I got two pennies and a lint ball," she looks at the lint ball, and said, "This is pretty good lint."
Taylor soon laughed a bit but stopped when Kameyo looked at her. Kubo soon asked, "So, who are your new friends?"
"Oh, this is um," Kameyo looked at the girls, and said, "I didn't catch your names."
"Oh, where are my manners," Taylor said, she soon bowed and said, "I am Taylor, Taylor Fearbrave," she soon gestured, and said, "On my shoulder is Tess," Tess soon bowed, then Taylor soon said, "And behind me is Carmelita," Carmelita soon bowed.
"Hmm, she might be a kitsune, but doesn't look like she will transform," Kameyo said.
"What's a kitsune?" Carmelita asked in a whisper.
"I'll explain later, Carmelita," Taylor whispery replied.
Kameyo soon asked Kubo, "And what have you got planned for today?"
"Oh, you know, the usual," Kubo replied.
"Monsters?" Kameyo asked.
Of course," Kubo replied.
Kameyo soon asked, "You think you can work in a fire-breathing chicken?" This caused the girls to make a confused look.
Kubo gave Kameyo a look, and asked, "The chicken again?"
Kameyo replied, putting some fists on her sides, "The chicken is funny. A touch of comedy to balance the whole thing out. They're gonna be throwing money at you. I just know it. Uh, they'll throw something at you. I don't know."
Kubo soon replied with a chuckle, "Okay, I'll see what I can do."
"And do you plan on finishing the story this time, young man?" Kameyo asked.
Kubo soon shrugged his shoulders, then went to the middle of the street. Taylor soon said, "Oh, this might be entertaining."
The girls soon see Kubo drop his rag, which had paper, moved the shamisen, which she knew is his mothers, along with the bachi, gave a stern face and said, "If you must blink, do it now," he then strums the shamisen, causing everyone to stop their business with gasps, and the children cheered, and soon a crowd circled around Kubo, as he said, "Pay careful attention to everything you see and hear, no matter how unusual it may seem. And please be warned, if you fidget, if you look away, if you forget every part that I tell you, even for an instant, then our hero will surely perish." Kubo soon strummed the shamisen, and one of the origamis came to life, surprising everyone, even Carmelita, Kubo soon begin to tell his story, "Hanzo was a mighty samurai, but he was alone. His family taken from him, his kingdom in ruins, and his army destroyed by the dreaded Moon King." Taylor was shocked, since this was her target. Kubo then said, "You may recall," while he was talking, the paper began moving around, and circling around the other pieces of paper, as he continued, "Hanzo was roaming the distant Far Lands in search of a magical suit of armor. The only weapon in the world that could protect him from the power of the Moon King. This armor was made up of three pieces." Kubo soon stopped playing, and said, "The first..."
Hasi soon said, moving some children out of the way, "Oh! I know! I know! The Sword Unbreakable." Kubo strummed his shamisen and the paper folded until it formed into a sword.
Everyone clapped, then Kubo slid on his knees, and said, "The second..."
Hosato's daughter said, "The Breastplate..." she soon stutters.
Hosato soon kneels, and said, "Impenetrable."
His daughter said, "Impenetra-bubble," the crowd laughed, while the girl said, "Yeah."
Soon another paper folded into a breastplate, then Kubo said, "And finally, the third weapon, the final piece of the armor..."
Kameyo soon called out, "I know this one. Pick me!" She was shaking an old man's arm, which annoyed him, and then said, "The Helmet Invulnerable!" A paper flew up and folded into a helmet.
Kubo continued strumming while he continues the story, "Before Hanzo could claim the armor and unite the pieces to reveal their true power," as he spoke, the pieces flew down towards the circling papers, as Kubo continued, "he was attacked by the Moon King's beast."
Soon a paper flew up and took the form of a spider, the spider, and Hanzo soon charged at each other, but Hanzo swung his sword, and cut the spider. Everyone soon was cheering and applauding. The story continued on through the day, during this, Hanzo took on a shark, which ate him, causing the crowed to gasp, but then the shark was being cut around
Hashi soon put his arms between some women and said, "Oh, yes!" This made the women uncomfortable. The shark was soon defeated.
Kubo continued on with his story, soon Hanzo was facing a giant chicken, that was breathing streamers, which was fire, then Kameyo laughs and said, "Kill the chicken! Rip it to pieces," this frightened the girls a bit. The chicken soon chased after Hanzo, but then Hanzo stopped to face, unfolded, went under the chicken, which posed, causing the crowd to applaud, but they all gasped as Hanzo was knocked down by what looked like an egg, which the chicken was laying and shooting at Hanzo causing the crowd to laugh. Hanzo then jumped from one egg to another, and went to the chicken, which was about to eat him, but his legs stopped its beak, and he cut off the chicken's head.
Hosata looked at that, then said while covering his daughter's eyes, "Oh, my," she moved his hand.
Kubo continues to tell the story, and during this Hanzo was taking on more monsters, and which gushed out paper blood, causing the crowd to cheer, Hashi to laugh hysterically, but one villager gets hit by the paper blood, and retched. Taylor soon muttered, "Good thing I'm a girl of the world."
Kubo soon said, "Hanzo was filled with rage. His soul tormented by the grief of a family stolen from him!" Soon some paper flew up, as Hanzo turned, as Kubo continued, "At last, our hero was face-to-face with his nemesis," the paper took the form of a samurai, but it had a crescent moon on its helmet, as Kubo said, "the Moon King." Both Hanzo and the Moon King jumped, flew and were about to strike blows, until the bell tolled, causing the girls, and Kubo to look up. Kubo then packed his stuff, and said, while everyone was chattering, "So, be sure to come back tomorrow."
Kameyo soon gave a disappointing look as everyone moans, while Hashi asked, "What? Oh, come on! People like an ending," Kubo turned then Hashi asked, "Where are you going? No, you can't leave... You can't leave!"
Taylor looked, and asked, "Why didn't Kubo finished?"
"Kubo never stays out after sunset, which is disappointing," Kameyo replied.
Taylor soon thinks that it must be due to the Moon King, then said, "Come on girls." Taylor and Carmelita, with Tess on Taylor's shoulder, ran off while saying, "Hey, Kubo! Wait for us!"
