"Flik?" Atta said as she noticed him. All the other ants were just as surprised. Some gasped, while others looked angry.
Flik was nervous when he saw his former colony. No one, especially the council (Thorny, Flora, Cornelius, and Soil) was happy to see him.
Atta decided not to let them say anything, so she changed the subject.
"Uh, what are you doing here?" Atta asked him.
"I live here." Flik answered. This caused surprise among the other ants.
"You live underground, down here?" Dr. Flora asked him.
"No, I live up there." Flik corrected her, pointing up. "With my uh, new friends."
"New friends?" Atta questioned him.
"Yeah, I uh, met them after I left." He explained trying to put it mildly.
Before the conversation could continue a new voice was heard.
"Flik, Flik." The voice cried. "Flik where are you?"
The ants all looked up wondering who that could be. But Flik knew exactly who it was.
"That's one of them right now." Flik clarified. "Coming Littlefoot." Flik called to his friend. With that he made his way out through a hole.
The ants were all confused and surprised.
"Littlefoot?" Atta asked him.
"I don't like this." Thorny said with an attitude.
"But he sounds like a kid Thorny." Atta told. "We should go check this out."
"She's right." Agreed The Queen. "If this is going to be our new home then we have to be acquainted with everyone."
"Plus with a name like Littlefoot, he's probably even smaller than I am." Dot suggested.
"Dot?" Atta said.
"Sorry." She apologized.
"It's worth a shot." Said Cornelius.
"Alright." Said Thorny. Soon the council, Atta, and Dot made their way up.
"So this is The Great Valley." Dr. Flora said as they admired their new home. "It's beautiful."
"Yes." Agreed Atta. "But where's Flik?" Her question was answered when they noticed Flik standing in front of them.
"I'm right here." He answered. Suddenly a huge shadow loomed over them. The ants sans Flik all squirmed in fear. It was a dinosaur. But not just any dinosaur. "Littlefoot." Said Flik.
"Flik." Said Littlefoot as he bent his head down and Flik hugged him. Littlefoot then noticed the other ants with shocked looks on their faces.
"Hey Flik where did these other ants come from?" He questioned. Flik quickly explained it to him.
"Flik? this Apatosaurus is Littlefoot." Atta asked.
"But he's not so little." Dot observed.
"Dot!" Cried Atta.
"Sorry."
"Uh yeah, Littlefoot this is Princess Atta, Dot, Thorny, Cornelius, Mr. Soil, and Dr. Flora." He introduced them.
"Pleased to meet you." Said Littlefoot. The ants were still surprised but they managed to say a few things.
"Charmed."
"A pleasure."
"Nice to meet you."
"Hi."
"Anyway, c'mon Flik we gotta go our friends are waiting for us." Littlefoot said.
"You got it." Said Flik as Littlefoot lifted him up with his tail and out him on his back.
The other ants just stared.
When they were out of earshot Littlefoot began to speak. "So that's the girl you told me about. The girl who broke your heart."
"Yeah, Princess Atta." Flik said. "But don't worry, like I said I'm over her."
"You say that now." Littlefoot whispered.
"What?" asked Flik.
"Oh nothing." Littlefoot answered. He secretly hoped they would get together and quietly chuckled to himself.
A little later the ants were following them and were talking amongst themselves.
"So why are we following Flik and Littlefoot?" Asked Dot. "Can't we just leave them alone?"
"No way, I don't trust Flik." Said Thorny.
"But he didn't do anything now and he was here before us." Atta told him.
"But still, I hate him." Cornelius said.
"We all hate him." Mr. Soil said.
Before Atta could retort they heard something.
"What's that?!" Dot asked in fear.
"It sounds like roaring." Atta said.
They heard screaming and saw Flik, a yellow Triceratops, a brown Pteranodon, a green Stegosaurus and Saurolophus and a pink Oviraptor all being chased by a bluish purple Tyrannosaurus Rex.
"I thought you said meat eating dinos couldn't get in here." Thorny scolded Atta.
"It's what the map said." Atta told him.
Suddenly they heard Littlefoot's voice. "Not so fast T-Rex." The T-Rex turned and faced the Apatosaurus.
"Is Littlefoot gonna fight the T-Rex?" Atta asked.
"How brave." Dr. Flora admired.
Littlefoot stared at the T-Rex and as it walked closer he whiped his tail to trip it.
"Alright!" The ants and dinos cheered.
The T-Rex charged again but Littlefoot just wrapped his tail around his leg causing him to fall.
"Hurray." Suddenly the T-Rex got back up the ants looked worried but then got confused when everyone started laughing.
"Huh?" Atta said.
"Good game Littlefoot." The T-Rex said.
"You too." Littlefoot told him.
"Hey what's going on" Atta asked as she and the ants came out.
"Are these the ants you and Flik told us about?" The Triceratops asked.
"Yep." Flik said he already told them their names.
"Why were you-" Dot started but Littlefoot cut her off.
"We were just playing Lone Dinosaur." He explained. "One of us is the sauropod hero, the other is the T-Rex, everyone else is the ones who get chased and saved."
"Oh I get it." Dot said. "Makes sense for a sauropod and T-Rex to be a sauropod and T-Rex."
"So he's your friend." Flora asked. "That's even braver."
"Yep. Ants meet Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Ruby, Spike, he doesn't talk much, and my best friend Chomper."
"Best Friend?" Asked Cornelius. "The T-Rex is your best friend?"
"Cornelius." Atta scolded him.
"It's okay, I'm used to that reaction." Chomper said.
Cera then glanced at Atta. "So your the girl who banished Flik and broke his heart, huh?"
Atta looked nervous. "Uh, well."
"But if you hadn't we never would've met him. So I guess we should thank you huh."
Spike walked over to Atta and licked her. "Uh, your welcome?" She said.
Chomper then turned his attention towards the Ant Council. "So you guys are the Ant Council right."
"That's right, Thorny, Cornelius, Dr. Flora, and Mr. Soil.
"You all mistreated Flik!" He said angrily causing fear towards them. "You four are finished when I get my claws on you. Finished!"
They all looked scared. "I'm just kidding." Chomper said in a friendlier tone. "Welcome to The Great Valley."
"Oh uh thanks and good one." Thorny said, still nervous.
"Well see you all later." Flik said as he and the others left.
"Well that was really weird." Said Dot.
