So you have bene asking and so... you horrible people.. is has come. The flu that is not just the flu is about to hit the lovely village of Shangri-La making Ianto take drastic action even as others scoff that it is just the flu and everyone is being silly. We shall see.

They had pulled the sled out of the shed into the sunlight… Jack excited to see the paintwork Ianto had updated diligently. It looked like it was brand new, the brass fittings shinning in the sunlight like gold. The fire engine red was now shadowed with a darker red around the edges so it really popped. Hand drawn filigree gold edgings as well, god it looked like it was straight out of a Christmas Card.

"Wow… Toto outdid himself there, he really knows how to shine a turd" someone said and Jack laughed. To think they had considered junking this old relic. Their first ever sled before the real madness took over and the large horse drawn ones that needed a four horse team were purchased.

This little two horse model was now Ton's baby. This year… his own baby would be in it along with his wife. The lovely little family would represent in their own festive scene.

"But Daddyyyyyyyyy, what about meeeeeeee"

Ianto glanced over at the little boy swinging off Jack's arm like a spider money, his anger clear as he saw nothing a Kat might like. Snow. Yuck. Come on… the Captain needs to have his own thing too. Clearly Jack was going to have to either put his foot down or cave. Hawk was not one to back down from a whinge fest.

Christmas was Jack's thing. Always was… always will be and after the last few of them having been spent away at the Lake House, he was determined to make this one grand once more. He knew he had to do something with this little shit before he set fire to the place… set fire… right.

"Come on kiddo… we need to get the tree for the centre of town" Jack said grandly "and the others for other… parts."

Ianto silently turned from where he was standing back with Shay asleep in the cute little pram, looking at the man who had just admitted to more than one Christmas Tree. OH god. "Jack? Is John helping?"

"No… she said he can't" Jack muttered as he started to head off and Ianto relaxed. Then Jack added those words that would haunt Ianto's thoughts until he could see them back from the tree harvesting spot in one piece "But me and the boys are sorting it. I am taking Monkey with instead."
