Ianto was doing that slow blinking thing that forewarned of a shit show. Jack was trying to defuse the situation with soft poking and cajoling but he knew his number was up as Ianto took in the vehicle on the flat bed.

"So. SOMEONE gave a thirteen year old maniac a chainsaw and said 'go get a tree' then stood and watched said thirteen year old maniac cut down the largest, heaviest tree directly beside the vehicle?"

The way Ianto kept saying the age of the child was alarming and before he could help himself he blurted "fourteen now love. He had his birthday in May, same as Impy."

Ianto's mouth moved into the line of doom. That… 'Line Under It' line of doom that Jack knew meant no nookie for the foreseeable and he sighed "Tiger… I didn't give it to him… Skidmark did."

Ianto's eyes widened and Jack silently apologized to Skidmark and the pain that was about to rain down on him as Ianto strode to his waiting transport, the little black Kat Man already belted in with an arm protectively over the baby capsule as he was excited to see what would happen next.

As Ianto stated the engine the little man said "you know Tadda… he cut two more little ones down too."

Jack caught it and swung to stare at the little traitor who smiled serenely at him and settled back in his little seat, glad to be part of this next bit. Taddy going off was a rarity and when he went… he went. Hawk always found it amazing to watch a man become so …so…. BIG. Like he was letting his Super Hero out.

Ianto drove faster than he usually did, even with babies on board and little Shay's eyes widened as the speed was new. Hawk grinned down at his sibling as he watched the baby's face change to delight. "Don't' worry little citizen Shay… when you are big enough… I can show you REAL speed. Sissy Babs is always a good conspirator there."

Ianto did not even react to that, knowing the woman was apt in screaming around the race track in her fast cars with the little black demon strapped securely in the jump seat screaming. He had long since accepted that she knew how to be safe and would never endanger a child… even if some came back wide eyed and breathless sometimes.

Speaking of wide eyed and breathless.

Jack must have radioed ahead because Skidmark erupted from a house and ran across the road ahead, Ianto snarling as he stamped the gas pedal as if to run him over. Skidmark looked over his sounder and saw the man advancing, now baring teeth like some sort of monster and he knew that if Ianto caught him right now they both would be sorry.

Skiddy ran for the last bastion of hope.

Walter.
