I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, or any of the Kubo and the Two Strings characters.

The storm was getting worse, Kubo soon said, "Monkey, girls, I think he's in trouble! We should help him."

Monkey soon said, "Kubo, your aunts are still out there. I'm sorry," she soon looks at the moon and said, "We have to get to shore."

"Kubo, wait, no!" cried Tess, as Taylor and Monkey heard splashing, looked, and Kubo was gone.

"Kubo!" cried Monkey, as she runs to jump into the water, when something grabbed her, and brought her back to the boat while saying, "Kubo," then they heard a someone laughing.

Taylor and Tess looked, and saw one of the sisters, and said, "Look at this. I come fishing and all I reel in is a stinking ape," Monkey glares at the sister.

Taylor sees her and says, "So, you finally caught up to us," the sister looks at Taylor, who asked, "And what is the name of our opponent?"

"I am Karasu," the sister, Karasu replied, then said, "And Father told us you were coming, but said not to engage, yet."

Monkey then said, "Taylor, go down there, and help Kubo, I'll handle Karasu."

Taylor thought, then said, "Got it," then slowly backs away to the railing.

Karasu cackles, and then said, "How pathetic that this filthy creature is all that's left of my sister's magic."

Monkey then said, grabbing the chain, "This filthy creature will tear you apart!" She then jumps to engage Karasu, while Taylor jumps in after Kubo.

Down in the water, Taylor swiftly swims and catches up to Kubo. He sees her, and knew she was here to help, they soon swim into some seaweed and kelp, and soon found the Breastplate Impenetrable. Kubo soon goes to it, with Taylor following, goes under it, and it shrink to fit him. Taylor smiles, but then notices something going up, she knew it might be one of the eyes, which opens up. Taylor quickly averts her eyes, but looks at Kubo, who was in a trance, as Taylor heard his name being echoed. Taylor soon sees more eyes, she closes hers, swam down, felt a bit of sand, then touched it with the diamond part of her staff, spins into a circle, then a light engulfed her, and she sinks down to the ground.

Taylor soon rose up back at the boat, gasping, and coughing a bit. Everyone soon sees her, then Monkey asked, "Taylor? What are you doing?"

"Hold that thought," Taylor said to Monkey.

Taylor soon attacks Karasu, who said to her, "You girl and your friends are being really annoying," Taylor avoids her weapons, while Karasu continued, "You don't even belong to this world," this caused Monkey to be surprised, then Karasu said, "But you and your friends had to come, because Father took something from your brother."

"Well, if the Moon King and the others didn't come, knocked out and stole what belonged to Shadow, I wouldn't be here!" Taylor replied, then hits her, and said, "But that doesn't matter since I've interfered with five affairs with the Nightmare Eight and succeeded in helping the ones who needed to defeat them," she whacked her more, and said, "And the Moon King will be no different." She soon did a few whacks to her, then went to Monkey, and asked, "You were asking?"

"Where's Kubo?" Monkey asked.

"He found the breastplate, but..." She soon notices that the boat was falling apart.

Monkey noticed this as well, then asked, "Kubo?"

She tried to look, but she was then tied by Karasu, who lifted her up, and said, "I have crushed creatures who could fit this world on their fingernail," she places Monkey near her, and said, "This victory brings me no honor." She was about to slice Monkey with her scythe, but Monkey spins and kicks Karasu, Taylor soon went to her, and whacks her with her staff.

Monkey takes out the sword, and said, "Imagine how you're going to feel when you lose." Monkey jumps with the sword, so does Karasu spinning her weapons. Taylor soon joins in to help Monkey.

Karasu soon said, "I felt loss only once," she throws her scythe at Monkey.

Taylor then deflects it with her staff, and asked, "When?"

Karasu retracts her scythe, and replied, "Eleven years ago, I lost my sister." She tosses what looks like a talon at Taylor and Monkey, but they dodged it and Monkey jumps up and attacks Karasu, kicking her, and she hits a piece of the boat, then said, "She fell in love with a fool and betrayed our father!" While she was talking, she continued fighting, then Karasu said, "She was an ungrateful coward!" The three soon try to attack, but Karasu soon cuts a rope that supports the sail, causing it to drop.

Monkey and Taylor runs after her, looked around for her then Monkey asked, "Who's the coward now?"

After a flash of lightning, Tess and Little Hanzo pointed behind them, causing them to know Karasu was behind them, and the fight her more. Suddenly Taylor sees an arrow with a fish on it, and asked, "What the?"

Beetle soon comes on the boat and said, "I got it! I got it!"

Monkey soon sees him and asked, "Beetle, what happened? Where's Kubo?" Karasu notices him as well.

Beetle reply was, "Um..."

"You just went in the water to retrieve the fish?" Tess asked, then said, "Are you kidding me!?"

Karasu used this distraction as an advantage, knocks down Monkey and knocks the sword away, causing Beetle to scream when it landed near him. Karasu growls lunging towards him. He soon said, "Uh-oh," he then picks up the sword, and fights her.

Karasu soon disarms Beetle, about to strike him, but then some chain spins around her neck and she was pulled by Monkey, who spins her to the mast. She soon goes to keep Karasu bounded, and yells at Beetle who was shaking his head, "Get back down there! He's in trouble!"

"I got it," Beetle replied, then jumps back into the water.

Both Monkey and Karasu grunt, but then everyone heard some cracking, they looked up, and saw a piece of the mast falls off. Taylor got out of the way, then thought, then said, "Tess, give me your headband."

"Got it," Tess said, giving her headband to Tess.

Taylor soon ran and said, "Hang on, Kubo!" and dives in the water to help him.

Taylor swims swiftly again, then catches up with Beetle, who shoots at the eye that Kubo was looking at, causing it to scream in pain. Taylor soon squints, then heads for Kubo, who was going to be eaten, and grabs him, which soon Beetle grabs her too. Taylor then puts on her goggles and begins to see things through Tess's eyes.

Tess sees Monkey continuing to fight Karasu, who soon said, "It never fails to amaze me how the creatures down here fight so hard just to die another day."

"Down here, there are days worth fighting for," Monkey replied.

Monkey soon sees the sword, while Karasu said, "There is nothing down here worth anything!" She tries to hit Monkey, but missed, as she tries to get to the boat where the sword is, but Karasu soon gets her with the talon part of her weapon, and said while dragging Monkey, "It's pathetic what happened to my sister," Monkey looks at the weapon on her, as Karasu continued, "I looked up to her. She was so strong," Monkey tries to walk to the sword, while Karasu said, "And love her weak."

"No!" Monkey said, as she grabs the sword, then Karasu pulls her, then Monkey said, "It made me stronger," she then slices at Karasu.

Taylor soon took off her goggles, and saw the mask of Karasu, which was split in half and was sinking past them as they were heading for the surface. Beetle grunts while Taylor gasps and coughs.

"Over here," cried Monkey.

Beetle soon said, "The eyes... He then coughed a bit, then said while he and Taylor swam towards Monkey and Tess, "It was the eyes. They had him in a trance."

"Which was the reason I left him down there, I'm sorry, but I'd thought you needed help, for if I tried to save him, I would be tempted to look at them, and would get me too," Taylor said

Beetle soon gives Monkey Kubo, who cradles him, and said, "Oh, no. No," she soon brushes his hair, and said, "Come on. Come on, Kubo. Wake up. Please wake up!" She soon begins crying, and said softly, "Please, please wake up. It's gonna be alright. It's gonna be alright. I'm here. I'm right here." Suddenly, Taylor and the others look around, and the boat soon begins rebuilding itself, once it was done, Kubo then begins coughing out water.

He then said, "I saw..."

"What? What did you see?" Beetle asked.

Kubo replied, "I saw..." He opened his eye, looked at Monkey, and said, "Mother."

"Mother?" Taylor asked, she looked at Monkey, then asked, "Sariatu?"

Monkey, or Sariatu soon hugs Kubo and said, "My son," she soon said, "Taylor, when we get to shore, you and I both have a lot of explaining to do."

Kubo almost drowned, or eaten, but the group now has the Breastplate Impenetrable, and one of the sisters, Karasu, has been defeated, but what do Monkey, or Sariatu and Taylor need to explain to the group?
