The enticing fragrance of marshmallows greeted Madara as he opened his bedroom door. He understood precisely who this was and how she intended to make her presence known to him based on the residual chakra signature surrounding his home. Sakura had returned to his residence, as she had done for several weeks following her breakup with Sasuke, when rumours of her and his adultery appeared.

Rumours that were, of course, baseless and incorrect, but as she was assigned to be his attendant and they spent more and more time together, Madara noted how she spoke about Sasuke with less affection and more resentment that he refused to trust her with working with the new Hokage.

Madara began to notice how she was always striving to get his attention, to make him a rebound, and he realised that if she wasn't careful, she might easily acquire one in him.

He'd been in love with her for a long time, albeit probably not as long as she had with Sasuke. Since the war had officially ended, he had prevailed and declared himself as the Hokage of the Leaf Village.

Many people oppressed him, and when he realised Sakura's expertise in the field, he couldn't help but recruit her as his assistant. She was first hostile to him, but she gradually warmed up to him. Including holidays and missions, they spent practically every waking hour together. He didn't blame her for being charmed by him, but he was well aware that he wasn't what she was seeking for in a life partner.

He made his way towards his bedroom door, which was slightly ajar. He first observed her soaking in the moonlight in front of his bedroom window. In love with the way her fingers barely escaped from the sleeves of his shirt or how it was hardly long enough to cover her frilly pink underwear, his gaze ran over every inch of her pale flesh.

Sakura gave a mischievous grin. "So, what are your thoughts?"

"Hmm..." Madara was taken aback and swallowed the massive lump that had formed in his throat. He pulled his palm over his face to hide the hideous crimson on his cheeks, and his gaze went elsewhere, away from her. He wanted to stare at her and hold her, but she wasn't his, and he wanted to keep his true feelings for her hidden. "Put some clothes on."

Sakura frowned and pressed her hands on her hips, causing the garment to rise even higher and forcing Madara to swallow the lump in his throat. She leaned in closer, too close for comfort, so close that he could smell the shampoo she used this morning. "Maybe I don't want to. What are you going to do about it?"

"Eh…I…" Madara returns her gaze, attempting to read her. Why is she doing this to him? He'd give everything to have Sakura return his affections or at least ravage her right this second, but he knows she's still trying to get over Sasuke. She is attempting to make things tough for him and he refused to do this to himself. "Put on your clothes."

She sighed. "But Madara, if I go home tonight, I'll be lured the moment I step out of your sight." She purred, tracing circles on his chest with her finger.

For the little more than two years that he had been appointed Hokage and she had been his assistant, he had hissed at everyone who even looked at her while they were not at work. She was a breathtakingly beautiful woman, and Uchiha Sasuke was the luckiest guy in the universe to be able to call her his. Or, at the very least, he was, but he had been ignoring her for as long as she had loved him. Madara just treated her like any other woman until he developed feelings for her, and his impulses are frequently too difficult to keep hidden from her.

"If someone is going to entice you..." Madara mumbled as he dragged her closer to him by wrapping his fingers around her back. "I'll be the one doing it..."

"H-Hmm…" Sakura's eyes blurred with want; she had gained the reaction she desired from him. "W-Why's that that?"

"Because…." He pressed his lips on her neck, just grazing her flesh. His free hand came into contact with her lower abdomen and moved down till his fingers hooked around the band of her underwear.

"Madara…." She exclaimed, her hands clutching to his shirt, and bowed her head forward, surrendering herself to him.

Madara shook his head, pushing himself to pull away from her. "You need put on clothes."

Sakura glanced at him, clearly sorrowful, and parted her lips as if ready to say something.

"Don't be any sillier than you already are." He gave her a bitter smile before gently taking her hands away from him. "I still have a lot of work to do."

Sakura crosses her arms, clearly irritated. "Seriously? You can't just say something like that and not deal with it."

"I said that if anyone was going to lure you, it would be me." Madara smirked, flicking her forehead lightly just as he has seen Sasuke do to her. Hoping that she'd realise what she was doing and wouldn't give in to him, despite going through a divorce. "I didn't say I WOULD lure you."

Sakura lowered her head, snatched her clothing from the bed, and moved passed him to the door. "I...I'm sorry." I should've known better; I believed you were more interested in me than the other girls."

"Sakura," She glances at him again, as he caught her hand before she could leave the room. He had the same ferocity in his eyes as she had. "You should know you're absolutely gorgeous..."

Sakura's eyes glistened at him once again, encouraging him to continue. "Y-Yeah?"

He drew her hand towards him until they were standing in front of each other, then trailed his fingers up her arm to cup her cheek. He dropped his gaze, focusing on her eyes so she could take in his next words, so she could finally comprehend how his love stretches beyond their friendship. "I. Fucking. Love. You."

Sakura's chest heaved and her eyes crystalised with tears, she instantly seized his face in her hands, stood on her toes to reach him, and smashed her delicate pink lips on his chapped lips.
