I only own my OC, Taylor, I do not own Tess, Carmelita, Tsao, or any of the Kubo and the Two Strings characters.
The blinding light went dim, and Taylor soon sees Raiden, but he was now mortal, he soon asked groggily, "Where am I?"
"Hello grandfather," Kubo said to the mortal Raiden.
Raiden mumble indistinctly, looks at Kubo, and said, "Oh, hello," he looks at him and asked, "What happened to your eye?"
"Don't you remember?" Kubo asked.
Raiden soon replied, "No, I... I'm sorry, young man. But I seem to have forgotten my story," he paused, and asked, "Can you help me?"
"I'll tell him. No, we'll all tell him. We'll tell him everything he needs to know," Kameyo said, she went to him, and said, "You are the kindest, sweetest man to ever live in this village.
Kameyo helps Raiden up, as he said, "Oh. Oh, really?"
"Yes," replied Kameyo.
Hosato's daughter soon said, "Uh... Uh... Every day, you walk around smiling and handing out coins to children. Like me!"
"And old women," Kameyo added.
"Oh," Raiden said.
"You... You taught my kids to swim," said a village woman.
"What?" asked Raiden.
"And you give blankets to the poor," said Hosato.
"You're a good man," Hashi said.
"You fed the hungry," said a different village woman.
Another woman said, "You always lend a helping hand."
"You're a great example," said another village man.
The crowd agrees, then Raiden said, "It turns out I'm pretty selfless."
"That's why we love you," Hosato's daughter said.
Kameyo soon said, "You know, we have something in common. We both love your grandson." Kameyo gestures to Kubo, and said to Raiden, "His name is Kubo."
Raiden sighs, and asked, "Kubo?" He huffs and says, "I'm sorry. But... But I don't remember."
Kameyo then replies, "Well... Your grandson's a storyteller. He'll tell you all the stories you've forgotten."
Raiden looks at him, and asked, "Really?"
Kubo didn't know, but then puts a hand to Raiden's shoulder, and replied, "Of course," and smiled.
Later everyone puts lamps into the river, Taylor and her friends soon sees Kubo put two lamps on the same rock a few days ago, kneels, and said while praying, "Hello, Mother. Father. I know my stories can tend to get a little, um, long, so I'll keep this brief. I'm very grateful I've had the chance to meet you both, hear your wisdom, feel your kindness, even eat a meal sitting between you. This was a happy story," he soon frowns, and said, "But it could still be a whole lot happier," he paused, then said, "I don't know exactly what the rules are or how this works, but if there were any way to..." He paused, and said, "You know, I still need you," he paused, sighed, and said, "So I can say this has been a happy story, or I could feel it. We could all feel it. Then we could end this story. Together." Taylor soon heard the howling of the golden heron, then she soon sees the lamps turn into them, then sees the spirits of Hanzo and Sariatu in human form, standing between Kubo, as he places his lit lamps into the river, he then said, "The end."
Taylor soon began crying, then noticed something. Taylor shook her head, and soon said, "The safe." She tried to get it but then she was rebounded. She soon heard a cackling.
Everyone looked at Tsao, who said, "I told you, even if you defeated the Moon King, you would never get the safe, for it has a barrier that can only be broken by music and singing."
Taylor thought, and remembered something, and said, "Kubo, try and get Hosato, Hashi, and Kameyo," Kubo was confused, then Taylor put a hand to her ear, and said, "Bentley send Qwark and Ms. Decibel, we're going to have a concert.
