"Parallela? Really?", said Appendos. "That has to be one the most gimmicky names I ever hear-".
"We like it", said Parallela and a handful of her clones. Each of them nodding and agreeing how the name had a nice ring to it.
Appendos sighed, "Alright then 'Parallela', what other tricks are up your sleeve?"
"I can do this", she yanked the scissor-blade horns out of her head and held them like a pair of katanas. The rest of the clones stepped back, as Parallela lifted the scissors blades above her head with her flame becoming bigger, heating them into a blazing blue color. Then without a moment's hesitation, she began to quickly slice the wall next to her. Seconds later the wall crumbled into dust and rubble.
"Impressive!" Said Appendos with a small round of applause. "Is there anything else? Such as, I don't know, going from one place to the other."
Parallela thought for a moment, then she snapped her fingers. Making all of the flames of the clones go out and melting them into candle wax. And all the wax began moving to her direction.
"What's happening?", Kombu said with some small concernment.
"All-Father said he wants to be taken from one place to the other, so that's what I'm doing", she said as she now guided the wax and formed into a large candle that's the size of a large bucket. "Where would you like to go?"
Appendos whispered into her ear the location they wanted to go to. Then Parallela used the scissors blades to carve the initials "BM" into the large candle. As she finished, she then used her flame to light the candle and the initials glowed. It was now finished.
She then told Appendos and Kombu to jump over the candle so they be transported to the next dimension. So they did, as they jumped the flame opened up into a blue vortex-like portal and sucked them all in. After that, they all got spat out, fell to the ground, and landed up in the their new destination. There was a tall tower with a couple fountains surrounding the entrance. They were now at the Bureaucracy of Magic.
As they went in the tower, they could see the main lobby was empty with a pile of stale-looking doughnuts and muffins in one end of the room. While at other end at the security desk, was a short, overweight green moose in an officer's outfit, he was taking a nap. They snuck past him and went to the elevator. Appendos pressed the top floor button and there they went. As they went up, the noises from the elevator caused the moose to wake up.
In the elevator, Kombu asked Appendos why he couldn't just use his wand to teleport them here. Appendos told him that the magik in the wand isn't powerful enough to access "certain" areas, so they needed Parallela's assistance.
The elevator finally reached its destination and opened up to a room with a large window and conference table with old celebration signs and banners up. And at the end of the table, there laid a large crystal with a pair of snakes near it, and a skull with a two chains of knives attached to the sides of it's head.
Appendos had on a sinister, but joyful smile on his face, "Here it is, the next two pieces of the 'former magic'", he reached out to grabbed the crystal away from the serpents. He placed the crystal on the floor, took off his horn again, and drew a circle around it.
"Alright Kombu, we do the same thing as we did last time and Parallela,"
"Yes All-Father?"
"Guard the door, to make sure no one interferes."
"Understood". Parallela said as she walked near the elevator and stair doorway.
Meanwhile, Appendos and Kombu prepared for the next Resurrection and Transformation spell combination and blasted away. Not even half a minute later, the crystal began to grow a smaller crystal, and another one, and another one; until eventually the large crystal became a cluster of thousands of smaller crystals. They both stopped blasting, then a few minutes later, there was a small chime that was coming the crystal cluster, then cracks were produced, and the chime sound got louder and the cracks got bigger. Until finally all the small crystal pieces fell off and the large crystal remained. Now with four terminated stub-pieces, two on the sides of the upper-half and another two at the bottom, making it resemble a torso.
Then on the flat, reflective surface formed an outline of a bow tie; the tips of the smaller pieces of crystal projected four blue laser beams that turned into thin holographic, skeletal-like arms and legs. Finally a large beam from the main crystal began to spread out, forming a face of a mustached man. He opened his translucent eyes, and got up from the crystal rubble and looked around. Soon he spoke in deep, rich english accent.
"Greetings All-Fath-", before he could finish, a green moose officer was kicked hard and was flung into and shattered the window. Making him fall from the tower, while screaming. The crystal man, Kombu, and Appendos looked into the direction where Parallela was.
"What, you told me to guard the door so I did". Said Parallela as they all stared back to the new being.
The crystal man cleared his throat and said, "Greetings All-Father, Big Bro, and Sister."
"Hello", they all said back. While Kombu complained just to call him by his name.
"What would you like me to do?"
"I don't know. What are your powers?", said Appendos.
"I'm not sure really"
"Let's try something," Appendos pulled out a wine glass filled with water that he got from the bar lounge in the tavern and gave it to him. "What can you do with this?"
He began to examine glass of water and dipped his pointer finger in the water and round his finger around the edge of the glass. It made the high-pitch ring, however, it was a type of pitch that was loud and hypnotic; it made Kombu and Parallela almost enter into a trance, and also made the crystal man to enjoy the harmonious sound.
"You can stop now", said Appendos.
The crystal man stopped rubbing his finger. Then Parallela and Kombu immediately broke from their trance, not knowing what happened.
"Brilliant work, now for your title,"Appendos thought hard for a while, until he came up with "you shall be known as Quartzstro."
"Understood, All-Father".
"Now you and Parallela stand to the side, while me and Kombu revive your next sibling", they both did as Appendos said. As he grabbed skull and created a new circle for it. Kombu and Appendos once again, did the same spell combination as the last two times and then casted the spells.
