Appendos looked up with a goofy grin on his face. "Well would you look at that, I've accumulated enough power to do something real special". He asked for Kombu to give him the wand. As he did so, Appendos snapped the spike at the bottom of the wand off and grabbed his glowing horn and attached it to the wand. And attached the wand's spike on his head, then gave the wand back to Kombu.

"With this new upgrade, you are able to perform two spells at once without my assistance. Not to mention, it can help you locate the last couple items of the 'former magic'".

Kombu began to examine the new addition to the wand as he waved it around. As he did, the spike to glow vividly. "What does this mean?", asked Kombu as the others wanted to take a look.

"Think of it as warm and cold, the closer you are to the magic item, the more it glows; and vice versa. Now the next thing I want you to do Kombu is use it as a guide to help you find the remaining items and you already know what to do with those. And also, you three." Appendos pointed at Parallela, Quartzstro, and Nihiles.

"Yes All-Father", said all of them, except Nihiles who only bobbed his head and started to pay attention to him.

Appendos stated,"I want all of you to assist Kombu, while I have other important manners in my hands."

"Understood, All-Father!", said both Parallela and Quartzstro, while Nihiles nodded.

"Now go... and by the way Kombu", he said as Kombu approached him in a few steps.

"What is it?"

"The last two kin that'll be spawned from the items of former magic, won't be so kind. So be careful"

"Sure thing", said Kombu as he and the group of three followed from behind. Leaving Appendos to his next objective, alone.

...

In the middle of a hallway: Kombu is gazing at the lighted horn of the wand, Quartzstro, Parallela, and Nihiles talked about how it feels to be alive after fifteen minutes to an hour of gaining consciousness. As Kombu continued focus on the glowing spike in the seemingly-endless hall. The wand made a low, then a medium loud beep. They were almost there. Soon the beep finally got louder and louder, until finally it stopped at a large wooden, dark-gray door that says the word, "R.I.P." on it. The four of them gazed at the door in curiosity.

"I guess this is the place", said Kombu as he stared texture of the frame in its eight-feet glory.

"I wonder what could be inside?", Quartzstro said as he's shaking with slight nervousness; alongside with Parallela.

"We'll find out soon enough", as Kombu spending the next couple of moments mentally preparing himself for what lies beyond the door.

With a small shove and a loud creek, the door finally opened. Inside, resembled that of an old, dusty crypt. Cobwebs surround the wall and ceilings, cobblestone floor, and in the center of the room, there was a large coffin laying on the floor. As they approached the coffin, ahead of it was a large portrait of a winged goatman in a cloak, chewing on a tin can. Kombu examined the coffin as the wand made a bell like "ding" to it, this was it. The second-to-last item of the former magic inside the coffin.

Kombu put the wand in his pocket and tried to push coffin's lid with off with both hands, but it wouldn't budge. He tried again, still nothing, but then felt a hand on his shoulder.

It was Parallela, "Need help?"

"Sure thing", said Kombu, working up a sweat.

"I'll help too", said Quartzstro. Along with a thumbs up from Nihiles Trismegistus.

"Alright, on the count of three," Said Kombu to the others, "One... two...",

With one strong and forceful shove, the four of them pushed. The lid was half-way off.

"Three!", yelled Kombu, and finally the coffin was open. They all took a small rest after the big push.

And there, Kombu looked to see what was inside the coffin. It was a small curve-shaped horn with a pile of ash next to it.

"There it is, now for the circle", Kombu got the wand out of his pocket and began to draw a circle around the horn and ashes.

"Well, here it goes, and guys, could you please step aside a little." Kombu said to to his three companion, and they complied.

A moment of silence with preparation his Resurrection and Transformation spell combination, all by himself for the first time. A zap of two unique colored beams shot out of the wand. Aimed at what's in the circle, an aura of green light surround the objects as the ash grew in mass as soon it got hit. Then, there was a strong gust of wind that blew the ashes in a tornado shape, as the curved horn flew up and stayed in place. As the ashes continue twisting and swirling, a mass began to appear in the storm, it was pair of hooves. After that, formed a pair of hindlegs formed upward and eventually a humanoid torso and finally a head of a man with a chiseled face. The storm of ashes stopped and finally Kombu and the rest was able to see a full figure.

A lean and muscular faun with the one horn on the right side of his forehead. His skin resembled birch; he wore black, leathery shorts and had a large pouch on his hip. His was long, with a detailed jawline and goatee. Not to mention his long curly flowing hair and veiny clawed hands. The faun stretched out his body and yawned, like waking up from a deep sleep. He looked around, only to see Kombu and the others. He slowly approached Kombu and cleared his throat.

"Hiya," the faun said a deep accent of a spaniard and made a light wave with his hand, "it's a pleasure to meet you my name is... oh wait, I don't have a name, silly me."

He was so cheerful and happy to be brought into existence, that the others walked up to him and greeted him with the same attitude. However, Kombu remembered Appendos' advice on the kins' volatile nature, that he had to be cautious. After greeting the rest of the group, he looked at Kombu and asked what is he doing here.

Kombu replied that a being (Appendos) wanted him to use magik to create you, it was for something of importantance.

The faun understood and wanted to show Kombu and the rest of the crew his power. They all agreed, but it came with a cost, he needed a volunteer. So Parallela decided to and stood beside him. With grabbing her back and tilting her, face-to-face, the faun opened his mouth and inhaled like a vaccuum. This caused Parallela to be unconscious and made green substance flow out of her face and into the faun's mouth. This caused Kombu, Quartzstro, and Nihiles to freak out, and cause Kombu to blast a laser beam out of his wand. Aiming at him, he immedeately let go dodged it at the last second.

"What did you do!?", demanded Kombu as Quartzstro and Nihiles braced themselves.

"Hold on, this is all part of the trick", said the faun as he spat out the green substance into his hands. And turned around to hide what he was doing, it was he was forming the substance like clay. When he was finished, he turned back to face them and to show what he made. It was a large wasp-like insect that moved on its own.

"I have the power to take life and to create it anew", said the faun as the insect flew out of his hand and into the mouth of Parallela, making her recover her consciousness soon after.

Groaning in pain, "What happened?", said Parallela, sounding a bit sickly.

"It's okay Parallela, we've got you", said Quartzstro, while he and Nihiles helped her get up.

Kombu, looked back at the faun with anger.

"Hey! Hey! Calm down, no need to get personal, she's perfectly fine"

"Fine? How could you", Kombu began to hold the wand up to him. As he was about fire, it ranged and glowed within the red "X".

Then popped out a familiar voice, "Hello, Appendos to Kombu and group. I repeat, Appendos to Kombu and group, do you hear me?

"Appendos, is that you?", said Kombu looking with confusement.

"Well of course it's me. Did you create the new being?"

Kombu looked backed at the faun, "Why yes I did"

"Good, may I speak to him please"

"Well..."

"Hey there", said the faun.

"Ah yes, greetings Baphricorn", said Appendos to the faun, giving him a name

Appendos had a small conversation Baphricorn, questioning him to see if he was worthy. And indeed he did, Kombu still felt agitated from what he did Parallela, but shrugged it, at least for now. Then Appendos wanted Kombu's attention. He explained to him that the item of former magic is located in another dimension. Since, he upgraded his wand with Appendos' horn, he now has the power to create an even stronger portal that helps bringing you to your location with 100% accuracy. He informed Kombu of where to go, gave the intention in the wand, and there popped up the portal to take to their next location. Appendos wished them good luck and off they went.

...

After Appendos hanged up, he continued to search for the "important thing", and kept failing. He skimmed through the rooms which enventually led him to a kitchen. He decided to take a small break and opened the fridge for snacks. He looked inside and mostly saw one thing... pudding.

"Bleh! You got to be kidding me," said Appendos in disgust, "I should have known that blue bozo of a brother of mine only kept this filth in the fridge. How does he even enjoy it?"

Appendos threw all the pudding out, as he did, he found a unique container. He grabbed it for closer inspection.

"Hmm... yogurt... might as well give it a try". He said as he ripped off the aluminum fold and grabbed a spoon out of a nearby drawer to consume. As soon as the yogurt hit his taste buds, he paused.

"This...is...the best thing I've ever tasted!", he raised in voice as he savored every last spoonfull of the sweet dairy and fruit mixture. He continued to enjoy until it was all out. After that he wanted more, but realized there was better things to look for, however, once he got back up to continue to search. He heard a feminine voice behind him.

"Hello, Appendos", she said.

Appendos, dared not to look back, but did anyway. It was the white-robed, magenta-skinned, crone figure with violet circles in her eyes from the end of the Prologue.

Appendos stared at her with an annoyed face. "Hello, Indexia".
