Magical Alien Summer Ep 13: Side effects
At an old apartment building on the edge of town, a wrecking ball was smashing it for demolition. "Being payed to smash stuff. Now that's a job!" The driver spoke out as he hits the building again, only for the foreman to notice someone in the building as he orders the others to stop. The person is a blue skinned man with long fingernails and dressed like a hobo with black greasy hair and a trimmed beard. The creepy thing is that bugs are crawling all over him, but he didn't seem to mind at all. "Get out of our home." He narrows his yellow eyes, but the men didn't budge.
"Yeah right! Hate to break it to ya, buddy. But this building is condemned by order of Mayor Mare." "Yeah! So, move it, or lose it! This place is coming down, like it or not!" But the man responds by hissing and raising his arms, sending out a huge swarm of bugs to attack and grabs one of the men as the other runs away in fear. "HEY! Get these things off of me!" 'Well... if you think we're bugging now..." Clancy grins out as his eyes glowed.
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur and shows the Omnitrix symbol with Dan's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Dan, discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial as it transforms him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit, before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Goop and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as 6 more aliens appear and zooms in:
Goop, Shock Rock, XLR8, Humungousaur, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast and strong, he's every shape and size."
"He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Dan is running towards the screen and then flips and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. appear next to him.
2: Humungousaur is next as he grins and slams his tail down, making a sonic blast.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to go splat in a comic fashion.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasted a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"'Cause he's the baddest kid to ever save the day!"
9: Goop emerges out of his puddle form and throws a long punch in the air.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Dan himself lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he gives a big grin.
"Dan 10! (Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan! Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping form some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Dan is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings and Dan in griffon form stood together as they glare at an adversity as the Omnitrix boy just smirks with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fight a giant bird monster as she uses her Geode's magic to slam it down on the ground.
Humungousaur roars out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all got sucked into the Omnitrix as Dan shows it while green rays came from it as the title appear next to him.
Dan 10: Magical Alien Summer.
On the streets of Downtown Canterlot, the sisters were chasing down a robber in a getaway car though the streets. Luna looks behind and exclaims. "There he is!" "Are you sure?" "Positive." Luna responds as a Upgrade-possessed motorcycle passes them. The robber swerves through traffic as Upgrade went on the sidewalk. "Look out! Coming through!" He got back on the roads and speeds after the bandit. Upgrade rises after him through an intersection and slides under a bus, righting himself up as he notices a car trailer. He pops a wheelie and launches up the ramp.
He lands behind the car and fires his eye laser at the trunk, blasting it off and making the cash flies out. "Some people just can't hold onto there money!" He said as he drives up along side and made an energy spike sticks out the side. Getting up close, he tears the back wheel apart and send it spinning out of control and crashing into some other cars.
As the drives rubs his head, Upgrade pulls up to him. "No way!" He exclaims in shock at seeing a cycle driving itself. Upgrade revs the engine and makes smoke pour out of the pipe onto the thief, making him cough. He then saw the cops come and stop and drives away.
Just then, Upgrade saw a parked ice cream truck, getting an idea. "Well… I did stop the bad guy." He separates from the bike and walks up, opening the hatch to see boxes of ice cream. "NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!" His eye ring narrowing in excitement.
"I'm telling you! That motorcycle was driving by itself!" The man said as he was shoved in the cop car as the sisters watch. "Where our nephew?" "Hmmm… Hot day? Long chase? I'm thinking…" Celestia gesture to the truck, making them walk over and opens the hatch to see Dan shivering with some wrappers around him. His skin is paler with red circles around his eyes and nose as some snot trails from it. "Are you okay, Dan?" Celestia got some sniffles and hand wipe in response. "I'm guessing, no?" Luna mumbles out.
Dan was lying on the couch back home with a thermostat in his mouth and a blanket on him. The device beeped as Celestia took it out and checks the stats. "Just as I thought, 101 degrees. It's official: You have a summer cold." "Hopefully, this will teach you not to snack in an ice cream truck with the door closed." Luna lightly scolds with cross arms as Dan sneezes in a handkerchief. Luna pulls out a first aid it and starts placing it's contents out. "Let's see… Cold tablets. State digestant. Cough suppressant. Hospital mask."
"I don't need that junk." "No, Dan! There for me and Celestia! Once a bug breaks out, there no stopping it!" Dan groans out. "Why can't you just locked me away in a closet until I'm better?" Just then, the door knocks, making Celestia opens it as Sunset walks in. "Hey! I just got your text, Principal Celestia. Me and Princess Twilight has talked about Dan's cold and she said there was someone that could help." "Ummm…. Who?"
Dan was sitting in a witch doctor-like treehouse at Equestria's Everfree Forest, just as sick in his Griffon form as he was human. A zebra female with a mohawk mane and golden rings on her neck was examining him. "So… Zecora? How is he?" Princess Twilight questions. Dan sneezes loudly and sniffs with a groan as he wipes his snot-covered beak with his right claw.
"A cold flu for young ones is always a bummer. Especially those that are trying to enjoy their summer. But fright not! Oh, little sick one. I know how this bug can be undone!" Dan mumbles as he rolls his eyes. "Ugg…. I don't what's more annoying for this headache: This cold or the rhyming Zebra?"
As Sunset and Dan exits the portal with a jar in hand, the girl spoke out. "Okay! That Zecora lady said that this is supposed to help with the common cold, but it only works on ponies. Not sure about humans." "Uggg... Can't we get a milkshake or something? My throat is killing me!" Dan complains as he rubs his throat. As the duo got in Celestia's car, the woman drove off for Sunset's apartment through the city as she has more stuff for flu. "Don't worry! This stuff is supposed to coat your throat in a substance that numbs it, making no pain possible. According to Zecora." Dan sniffs the jar and gags at it's scent. "Is it suppose to smell like garbage mixed with stinky gym socks?!"
"Well, it's better than Max's idea. Which is a more disgusting variety that he calms that he got from a monk in Guangdong, China." The 2 gave her a weird look as she shrugs. "They have plumbing in China, too!" Just then, the car came to a stop near a group of people as they noticed. "Looks important." Celestia comments as they all got out and see a woman around Celestia's age speaking to a crowd. She has light blue eyes and cream skin tone and has pink hair that is short and has a bang similar to Rarity's. She has small, librarian style glasses and is wearing a dark brown business suit with skirt, white shirt, matching heels and a light green handkerchief. "Ladies and gentlemen. I would like to thank you for listing to my 'Edge of town redevelopment' program. It's truly quite a change for greatness for our fair city."
"It's nice to see Mayor Mare, helping the city and it's people." "Wait... the Mayor's name is 'Mare'?" Dan glances at Sunset as she shrugs. "Don't look at me, I didn't pick her name." "It is my dream to help the city thrive towards anything the future may hold. And this is just first step to making it come true." But just then a swarm of wasps shows up and terrorizes the crowd, scaring them off as they screamed. The Mayor was confused and worried as she looks around as well, wondering what is going on. "Where did all these bugs come from?!" Sunset cries out as she ducks her head. Dan sniffs and notices Clancy with wide eyes as he points at him, riding a swarm of the bugs like a Pegasus on a cloud. "Ask him!"
"More like a nightmare... You are not tearing down our apartment building! That is our home!" The Mayor then realizes who he is. "Wait a sec! You're that nutjob who won't leave the building!" "Nice to know we made an impression" Clancy's eyes glowed as a swarm captures the mayor and bring her up. "What are you doing?!" "Just bringing you home for dinner... you're the main course!" Her eyes widened at the statement in terror.
Knowing it's hero time, Dan wipes his noise and activates the Omnitrix. "This looks like a job for…. Ahhh…. Ahhh…" FLASH Dan turns into Tear-wolf, but he was a bit paler with clogged up noise and a sort of weak look in his eyes. But his left shoulder pad is rusted and brittle. "Wait! Something's off with Tear-wolf." "There's no time." He starts running after Clancy. He was suddenly stopped by a swarm of wasps as he glares out. "Want to do it the hard way? Fine by me!" He forms his shields, only the plates were the same as his shoulder pad. They dived towards him with there stingers as he blocks, but the many stingers was able to break through it as he backs off. "What? My shields broke? They never break!" He saw a crate and chucks it at them, taking out few as they mostly dodge. They then combined there strength and lifts a man hole, chucking it at the alien.
Tear-wolf responds by making his steel teeth, only they were affected as well. "OWWWW!" His bite was useless as he clenches his jaw in pain, rolling around as he tries to soothe it. "When did Tear-wolf's teeth became so sensitive?" "Dan's cold must have rusted up Tear-wolf's armor. With his armor gone, he can't do well in defending or use his teeth without feeling intense pain!" Celestia deduces. He then sneezes as he wipes some snot off his noise as the bugs were gone, making the 2 humans glanced at him in worry.
Back at the car, Dan is sitting in the back as he groans while Celestia hands him the cure. "Here." He chugs half down and was disgusted by the medicine. "Ugghh… And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse…." "Don't worry, you'll get used to it. Besides, I'm more worried about your transformations. Your flu must have spread to all your aliens! There's no telling on how they are affected." "Great. What's worst? The cold or the cure?" "Got something!" Sunset spoke from the front seat as Celestia checks on her phone. "That werido said something about knocking down there apartment building. Well, the only apartment left for demolition at the Edge of Town is at 4862 Hollow Shade Street." As Dan notices a hidden compartment between the seats, he sneakily hides the jar in it as he mumbles out. "What aunt Celestia doesn't know, won't hurt me."
Mayor Mare was terrified as Blackwidow spiders crawls all over her, knowing how dangerous there poison is if they bite her. Please... don't hurt me." Clancy moves out of the shadows as he spoke. "Blackwidows... I wouldn't make any sudden moves, if I were you. Our Grandfather built this building. We grew up here, just me and my little friends. They are they only ones that understand. And no one is evicting us!" He glares at the woman.
Meanwhile, the trio arrives at the old, rickety building. "Yeesh... what a dump." "No wonder they want to tear this place down." Dan adds to Sunset as Celestia spoke out. "Let's all stay together." They made there way inside as they walk down the empty, broken hallways, they only sound they hear is old creaking wood and the occasional plank falling off with dust. They slowly made there way as they avoid any holes in the floors.
Sunset and Celestia went into a room as Dan walks off down the hall. Celestia notices a wall full of newspaper clipping about bugs and insects. "They have to be here, somewhere." Sunset spoke in disgust a bug nest. "Something tells me we're close by." "Wait... Where's Dan?" Sunset looks around and spot something huge in the shadows. "AAHHH! GIANT BUG!" She screams out as she backs way, only for the shadow to reveling a grinning Humungousaur, bent down with a paler skin color with his hands making looka-like horns. "Real mature!" Sunset frowns as Celestia shakes her head. "I know..." "HELP!" "That's Mare!" "I'm on it!"
Humungousaur responds by picking her them up in his hands, only for him to cry out in pain as his tail hit something. "OW! That hurt!" He glances at his tail, only to noticed it was all swollen up and red looking and has a blister like look. "That's just not right." Sunset groans in disgust. "It's your cold! It turned your super strong mace end of your tail into a swollen blister! You can't use it, unless you want tons of pain to course through!" "I can't help it, I'm sick!" Humungousaur responds to his aunt. "You're telling me." Sunset mumbles out.
He then leaps up and smashes through the floor, finding the mayor as he lets go. "Mare! Are you okay?" Celestia spoke as she whimpers out. "Stop! Blackwidows." Just then, Humungousaur sneezed all over the Mayor, coating her in alien snot, but also got all the spiders off of her. "Uhh... sorry? I have a cold." "That's... okay, Humungousaur." Just as she brush the snot off of her, Clancy shows up on the rafters. "You're trespassing." He then commands a ton of roaches into a humanoid shape, the same size of Quad Fist. As the dinosaur was surprised, he was knocked back by a sudden attack!
Celestia then noticed the bugs were going to attack her next, making her leap out of the way as termites starts eating the wood below Sunset. "Termites!" Luckily, Mayor Mare was able to pull her to safety. "You want to be king? get ready to be crowned!' Humungousaur snarls out as he charges at Clancy, only to stop as he was surrounded by ants as they crawl onto him, biting him all over. Although his super dense skin was able to prevent serious damage, they felt more like an annoying itch he just can't get rid of! "Ow! ow! Itchy! itchy!" He exclaims as he scratches all over and hops around, accidently falling and smashing one of the support beams. "What are you doing?! you're destroying our home!" Clancy cries out. Humungousaur destroys the main support beam as the place starts breaking apart. "Humungousaur! That's the main support beam!" "NO!" Clancy cries out as a swarm of wasp made a shield around him as the place was crumbling down. "We have to get out of here!" Mayor Mare shout out. "Too late!" Celestia spoke out loud as Humungousaur noticed and shield his body over the 3, just as the building crashed down into a pile of rubble.
All was quiet in the debris until Humungousaur lift a boulder off as all 3 people were safe, making the dinosaur crash on his back and groans as he times out. "Good thing I can't feel my head..." Dan groans out. As the group were recovering, they noticed Clancy emerges as well. The Meta-human glares at him, only to noticed the dead bugs near him, much to his horror. "No... No! You will be sorry! We will exterminate Canterlot City!" He declare as he conjures a wasp tornado that took him away. "This is weird, even by recent events that happened lately." Mayor Mare groans out as her friend comforts her. "Well, at least things aren't boring around here." Sunset smirks, trying to make a joke to lighten the situation as Dan checks on his back. "At least my swollen tail is gone, that thing hurts like the dickens!"
"By the way... Where did Humungousaur go? I wanted to thank him and those other alien heroes for protecting our city, lately." "I'll let him know, Mare." Celestia assures her. "Can you get home on your own?" Dan asked as she nods and walks away to recover from the event, leaving the 3 to deal with Clancy. "Now, where did 'Mr. Insect Lover' crawled off to?" The girls thought about it as Celestia realizes one place. "There's only one way to 'exterminate an entire city.'"
The car raced down a road to the Power Plant, hoping to stop Clancy before it's too late! Dan was shivering as he rode shotgun. "Turn up the heat, Aunt Celestia! I'm freezing!" "It's already on, Dan. But you're shaking like an earthquake. Sunset! Get him more of the cure." "No! I mean... I just finished it! I'm sure Zecora's medicine will work, any second now." Dan spoke out while glancing off as Sunset spoke out from her phone. "Check this out! Grasshoppers can leap 100 times there length. Ants can lift 10 times there body weight and Cockroaches can hold there breath to up for an hour." "We don't need resumes on these things, Sunset! We need to smash them flat!" Dan spoke out as Sunset shot back. "I'm saying bugs are some of the toughest creatures on the planet! They've been around for millions of years. And unless an Ice Age or a tanker of Pesticide comes around, I'm not sure what to do. It's not like we can hold a bug BBQ or anything." But Dan smirks at the fire part as he has an alien that's the master of fire! "I know just the chef."
They made there way down a hallway, notching that all the workers have fled. As they kept going, a red light illuminates the area as an alarm went off, surprising them! "What's that? Is that bad?" "An alarm in a Power Plant? Of course it's bad!" Celestia spoke out. "He must be fooling with the controls! We need to get to the main computer!'" They all rushed down the hallway as a computer voice is heard. "Core temperature rising, approaching critical levels." They made it to the smoking control room to see smashed consoles. "He smashed all the controls. We need to shut the reactor down, manually." "But how?" Dan questions as the adult gazes out the window and points at a computer near the glowing, towering reactor core. "Just outside the reactor core, there's an override system for emergencies!" "I'm guessing you learned about Nuclear Reactors from Max, who got from it China, too?"
Just then, Clancy enters the room. "Having a front row seat?" "If this place goes nuclear, you'll be winded up blown along with the place!" Dan exclaims as the man smirks. "We don't think so..." Cockroaches starts covering all over him as they form into a humanoid figure that is as big as Tear-Wolf. "When the reactor goes critical, we'll be snug as bugs in a rug." "Of course! Scientist believes that roaches are they only thing to survive a nuclear blast!" Sunset spoke out. "So, the guy is going to wear a bug suit to protect himself from the meltdown?" Nonetheless, he dials towards Heatblast. FLASH
Sunset saw something off with the alien as she spoke to him. "Hang on! Overflow looks different." The alien's eyes are tired, and all of his water containers looks frozen over as his mask emits frosty air as he breaths. "Great! Got the wrong alien, again... Never mind! There's no time to question looks! That's Rarity's department. You guys shut down the reactor. I'll handle bugsy!" He charges and prepares to use his water blades, only to get smacked back as Sunset and Celestia runs out. Clancy notices and sent some swarms after them.
As the girls kept running, Celestia looks back at the swarm of hornets. "Remember the expression? 'Mean as a Hornet?'" Sunset looks at the swarms of bugs as they kept running as fast as they could, only to notice a fire hose and used it to spray the bugs, drowning them in water.
Overflow crashed into a window as he got up as Clancy approaches. "Okay! Time to rain on your parade!" He then thrust his forearms at Clancy as he fries water, only to start coughing as no water came from the holes. "Wha? What's happening? You should be washed down the drain by now! Wait a sec!" He looks at his wrists, only to find them clogged with ice. "My cold! It froze all my water! Not good!" He glances up as Clancy punches him hard with a clang!
The girls managed to reach the reactor and heads towards the computer, unaware of more bugs crawling after them.
Overflow was thrown around and slams into a wall, making him glanced up at the approaching Meta-Human "WAIT! Let's talk about this!" Overflow holds his hand, only for ice to start forming on the palm and fires an ice beam, freezing an arm completely. "OK…. That happened." Overflow comments in shock as he looks at his hands. He then fires twin ice beams at Clancy, but he shook it off and tackles Overflow out of the room, sending them falling as Overflow quickly made an ice slide and freezes the bugs on the floor, sparing Sunset and Celestia. "Somebody call for a hero?" "I don't get it. Since when can Overflow make an instant snow day?" "I guess for some aliens, catching a cold isn't a expression." He noticed Clancy behind him and fires a huge ice beam that froze him up in a sec!
"Core meltdown in 10..." "Stand back! I got an idea!" Overflow fires his ice rays at the reactor, making steam erupt from it as the countdown grew closer and closer while ice starts to spread, making the girls watch in suspense as the alien pours in as much strength as possible. "3... 2... Core temperature stable. Returning to below critical levels." They all saw the reactor is frozen in a block of ice. "Way to go, Dan!" Sunset cheers out.
Overflow knees as he breaths deeply from using so much energy on his temporary ice powers. "Not a problem. 'COUGH COUGH COUGH' Now, get we please get some hot chocolate or something? My insides feel like Antarctica." Overflow moans out.
"AAHHHH…. Bad guy's on ice. City's been saved! Reactor is chilling. And the hot chocolate steam knocks out the last of my cold." Dan sighs out, all better as he and Sunset were driven back home. As they were getting comfy, a swarm of bugs suddenly showed up out of nowhere, making Celestia hit the breaks as they saw Clancy in his bug suit leaps down in front. "We didn't appreciate the cold shoulder you gave us at the plant." Celestia was grabbed and throw out of the car as Clancy deals with her. Sunset grabs a crow bar and start swinging at the bugs as she and Dan got out. "I thought you turned him into a popsicle!" "I did! He must have thawed out!" He exclaims as he tries to get Heatblast, but the watch is still in the red.
"So much for a bug barbeque! We're on our own!" "Great..." She groans out as Dan wipes some off. "If only we have something to tempt these things to get off of us!" Dan realizes there is something smelly that can get rid of bugs! "I got just the thing!" He went to the car as Celestia was struggling from being held up. "HEY!" All eyes turns to Dan, holding the jar of medicine above his head. "Come and get it!" The smell did the trick as all the bugs left and were being attracted to it. "What's happening?! Stop!" Dan chucks the jar over the ledge. "FETCH!" The bugs follows it down towards a lake were they all drown. Clancy notices an angry Celestia cracking her knuckles. "Ha... haha." WHAM! With one mean punch, Clancy slams against the metal railing and was knocked out cold. "Good! That guy was really bugging me." Sunset scoffs out. "I'm calling the police." Celestia went to her phone as both kids smiles at another job well done.
