Magical Alien Summer EP 16: The Big Tick
At Yellowstone National Park, the Tennysons has just finished setting up camp at the Rustbucket as Twilight, Sunset and Celestia tagged along for a little trip. The girls walked away a bit and took in the sights. "You know, I'm glad Max suggested this trip. Seeing one of America's great sights and getting away from the bustle of the city to take in beautiful nature." "I agree. After that whole 'Null-Void projector' thing and Vilgax, it's nice to make a quick stop for some relaxing and really coinvent that Yellowstone Park was on the way to Canterlot City. Hopefully, this camping trip, we don't have to deal with any new magic problems, none so ever!" Sunset spoke to Celestia. "DARN IT! DARN IT! I hate this stupid watch!" Twilight sighs out as she glances at Dan, who is approaching while fiddling with the watch. "Aliens, on the other hand, we just can't seem to escape them." The girl comments dryly.
Dan took off some headphones, unaware of a report of a small meteor heading towards Earth. "Something wrong?" "I was hoping I can go XLR8 and hit that Burger place we passed a few miles back. To pick up a Double cheeseburger with pickles! But it looks like I'm stuck here." "Dan, Yellowstone Park is amazing! It's home to such great sights, like Old Faithful!" Celestia gestures to the famous geyser. "Try and hang out to appreciate it."
"Well!" They saw the elder man and older sibling, coming up. "The camp is set up and we're all ready to enjoy the day!" Kate spoke as she and Max walks towards the others while Ken and Sunset is taking a nap, back at the RV. Dan merely rolls his eyes and went back to dialing. "Great... Let me know how that works out while I go chomp down a burger with some fries. Oh! And maybe a Milkshake too." "Dan, you shouldn't mess with that thing. Who knows what could happen?" Kate comments as Dan rolls his eyes. "Yeah... like you know." Just then, the Omnitrix suddenly flashed, blinding the others as the light died down, only for the group gasp at Dan's new form! "Wooh! Woooh... Aaahh... ACK!" THUD
Dan slowly opens his eyes and glanced at his changed hands, notching that they are now oversized and white and his fingers has been replaced with large, black claws with a yellow shell on the back of his hands. "Guys! What am I?!" he cried in a booming voice as the others glanced down at him. Kate snicker at him. "Now that's a real heroic pose." Twilight covers her mouth as she snickers. "Ohh... Very funny." Dan mumbles out.
The boy is now a hulking, broad-shouldered alien covered in natural, yellow armor plating on his back, thighs, shoulders, and the backs of his arms. He is mostly white with black on his upper half and has four claws on both of his hands. He has green eyes that are part of his shoulders that had black marking. He has sharp, white teeth, black lips with the same style of claws for 3 toes. He lastly has a black strip down the middle with the Omnitrix on his forehead. He is also wearing green shorts with a black strip down the middle with white outlines for the shells on his thighs.
The alien managed to stand up, supported by his friends. "My word! He is a big fella!" Celestia spoke out as Dan exclaims. "I can't believe I'm a new alien!" "I always thought the watch only turns Dan into 10 aliens?" Kate asked out as Max spoke while Twilight got to thinking. "Me too. But it looks like there's more to Omnitrix then we thought." "And if there's one new alien, there might be even hundreds, possibly thousands of more, just waiting to be unlocked!"
"Well, hopefully there not as useless as this guy!" Dan turns and blows out some air. "Well, he can't breathe fire. Maybe I shoot freeze lasers out of my eyes!?" He squints hard trying for anything as Kate deadpans. "Freeze rays out of eyes, really doofus?" "Magnetic blasts?" He tries multiple poses with his hands, only to get nothing as the alien groans out. "I give up." Just then, Kate heard something and glances up, just to see a meteor heading towards them as she screams, making them scatter as Dan looks back and got an 'uh-oh' face. "Oh, crude."
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur and shows the Omnitrix symbol with Dan's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Dan, discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial as it transforms him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit, before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Goop and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as 6 more aliens appear and zooms in:
Goop, Shock Rock, XLR8, Humungousaur, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast and strong, he's every shape and size."
"He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Dan is running towards the screen and then flips and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. appear next to him.
2: Humungousaur is next as he grins and slams his tail down, making a sonic blast.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to go splat in a comic fashion.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasted a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"'Cause he's the baddest kid to ever save the day!"
9: Goop emerges out of his puddle form and throws a long punch in the air.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Dan himself lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he gives a big grin.
"Dan 10! (Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan! Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping form some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Dan is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings and Dan in griffon form stood together as they glare at an adversity as the Omnitrix boy just smirks with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fight a giant bird monster as she uses her Geode's magic to slam it down on the ground.
Humungousaur roars out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all got sucked into the Omnitrix as Dan shows it while green rays came from it as the title appear next to him.
Dan 10: Magical Alien Summer.
BOOOOOOOOM As everyone recovers, they all saw a trail of destruction that leads to the smoking meteor. "What was that?!" "I don't know, but I doubt that's normal, even for our standards!" Celestia comments at the sight. "Maybe it's a crashed spacecraft. It's a possibility since most asteroids have a tendency of burning up in the atmosphere." Twilight theorizes as she adjusts her glasses. "Either way." They glanced back at Dan. "This alien's got to go." He then suddenly curled up into a ball and rolls into the direction of the crash site. "Don't you mean got to roll?" "Well, on the bright side, he's heading towards the meteor." Max said as they all followed after. "Now that I think about, he looks familiar." Sunset mumbles out.
Dan stops and uncurls in front of a huge meteor, easily as big as the Crystal Empire castle. "Whoa... that's big." He comments as the others arrived, only for the ground to shake as they saw cracks forming on it. "And alive?!" Twilight spoke out as large, purple legs emerged. "Quick, fall back!" Celestia cries out as they all rushed away. Once the rocks stopped falling off, they glanced back and were shocked at seeing a huge, purple and pink alien tick! The being steps forward and slams it's tentacle mouth into the ground as it stabs it's legs into the Earth, making the blue pores on it's side expel a noxious gas, making the girls recoil in disgust. "Pee-yewww!" "Now that's a stench!" "Okay, that's just plan disgusting." "And I thought that's Dan, who didn't take a shower for 2 days." "Actually, 4! And counting!" He smirks out at his sister as Celestia had a straight face "We really need to get him a better understanding in hygiene."
Just then, Max spot an alien ship approaching from the sky. "Look!" They all glanced as a door opens, reveling 3 different aliens in white robes and clothing. "Rejoice! He's arrived, in all of his glory." They all went down in separate, hovering platforms as the group of friends were wary about them. "I await his proclamation." The small alien spoke as he places his head against the tick as Grandpa Max asked out. "Who are you guys?" "Relax. We come in peace." "Yeah! We heard that one before, and we almost got blown to bits!" Kate frowns out with crossed arms as Twilight comments with hands on hips. "Besides, that's like the oldest line in every single alien movie!"
The big alien with an axe float by the 2 as he comments. "Earthlings with an attitude. I heard you exist here in large numbers. Or should I say, dead numbers." "And an Arburian Pelarota, to boot." The leader observes as Dan glances around and points at himself. "Wait! You mean me?" "His prescience here is a sign from the Great one. Isn't he not tremendous?" "Tremendous! All hail the Tremendous one!" Celestia asked out as she points her thumb at the tick. "Wait a sec! You mean this, oversized tick is some sort of special, royal alien?"
The alien ignored the comment as they asked Dan. "By the way? Aren't you a little far from home?" "Actually, a lot closer than you think." Dan shrugs out. The Axe alien brushes it off. "It doesn't matter. Soon, there won't be a home for you to go back. The Great One is planning on purifying your world, next week. Too bad. I heard it's a great vacation planet." "Well, at least we know what this alien is and where he came from." Kate whisper to Dan. "SHUSH! Silence! He's... speaking to me." The little alien leans his head on the tick as Kate crosses her arms. "I don't hear anything." "Only I can speak his language." He listens to the huge bug, getting the message. "He said that your planet will be purified before the next moon. You are quite lucky."
Suddenly, the ground start turning black as the tree slowly die as the Tennysons were surprised by the events. "Uh... Twilight? What do ticks do?" Dan askes out. "Well, normally, ticks would feed off the blood of larger mammals. But that's impossible in this case because the Earth doesn't have any blood!" The smart Rainboom responds as Celestia ponders and realizes. "That's because it's not feeding on blood, it's feeding off the world's life force!" "Correct. It's actually quite the experience. Let me show you." The leader then floats in front of the group as the axe alien grumbles out. "Not the audio-visual thing again."
After an annoyed glance at his colleague, he displays a simulation of what is happening. "We follow the great one, planet to planet. Galaxy to galaxy. After he visited to each and every one of our planets. Noticed his technique. His deep burrowing into the planet's core, rotting it from the inside and then, ingesting." The video finishes with the planet blowing up as Kate spoke. "And that's what he's going to do to our planet?!" "That's not purifying, that's destroying!" Twilight cries out in horror.
"Yes... your cites will be lay to waste, your mountains will crumble and your oceans will dry up." "It will be the end of the world as you know it. Rejoice!" "I don't think so. It's butt kicking time!" Dan cries out as he rolls at them, only for the axe alien to smack him away, making the others chased after him! Dan kept bouncing off the trees and slammed into the others, crashing down a hill as the alien times out. "Aw, man! This thing gives out a brand-new alien and all he does is roll around! So not fair." "Oh, yeah! And don't forget the fact that some giant, planet sucker is going to wipe out Earth from the very universe, itself! Cause that would be bad!" Kate snarks out, only for them to notice the trees are changing. "Uh... Kate? Can we put a pin in that for a minute?" "The trees are mutating! And at a rabid pace." Twilight breaths out.
Grandpa Max then gestures up the hill as Celestia adds out. "We need to get back up there and destroy that thing, before it destroys us." "Quick! Back up the hill, children!" The all rushed up, only to meet with large, thrashing grey tentacles that are alive. "Those weren't there when we roll downhill, were they?!" "I think we would have noticed, bro!" Kate cries out. "That tick is poising and changing the landscape." "Eww! Get your slimy whatevers away from me!" Kate screeches as she slaps a tendril, only to get ensnares as well as the others as they were slowly getting dragged into quicksand! "Dan! Turn Alien before it's too late!" "I'm trying Grandpa! But it's still charging!" "Haven't you figured that thing out, yet?!" Kate cries out as they struggle.
"Come on! Give me someone good! I'm begging here!" As the boy was dragged underneath, a green light was shown as Astrodactyl burst out and hovers above. "All right! Now were talking! 'SQUACK'!" He then uses his energy whips on the tentacles, scaring them off and swooping down to grabs everyone in his arms as he flew off. He then activates his rings and blew up the tendrils and flew away, but noticeably slower. "Isn't Astrodactyl usually faster?" "Give me a break! I'm not used to carrying 4 people at once! Especially large ones..." "Hey! Did you called us fat!?" Celestia cries out.
"Focus! Yellowstone is becoming more and more polluted." Max spoke as they all glanced around, only to hear a rumbling that sounds like a heartbeat. "Anyone hear a heartbeat?" Twilight questioned out as Celestia realizes something. "It's old Faithfull and it's erupting time! There's no telling what that Tick could have done to it!" "Hang on! I'm taking a detour." Astrodactyl then turns towards the geyser, which looks like a pimple that is ready to burst. "Twilight, see if you can plug it up! And quick!" The smart girl glances around and notices some large stones, using her telekinesis to lift them up and plugs up the geyser. "There! That should hold, for now."
Only to notice the aliens as they attacked, making Astrodactyl dodge them as he used his rings to blow them away, making him set the others down, somewhere else. "What are you doing?" "Sorry! Need all hands-on deck for a fight. 'SQUACK'" He quickly dodges a few more waves as he whips at them, sending them packing as he flew circles around them. He then fires his mouth beam at the large alien, knocking him away and into the others. As the aliens recovers and flies up, they noticed he was gone, only for him to barrel down at them from clouds. "Oh, yeah! Who's bad?! Oh, yeah! Who's- BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP "Oh, no! No, no!" FLASH
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Dan yells as he freefalls as the others noticed! "Dan!" Max cries out as Twilight gasped in horror. Dan lands on hoverboard of the smaller alien, sending him crashing into one of the mutated trees, dazed. "Oh man," Dan said, struggling to control the hoverboard. "Where's an instruction manual when you need it? Why did I leave my hoverboard, back home?" He then, albeit with difficulty, flew the hoverboard to the tick's area with the other two worshippers following suit. "Come on, come on." Dan said as he slowly started to stand up and gain his balance as he started to get the hang of the hoverboard. Only to noticed aliens on either side, making him quickly pull up as their energy attacks hit each other.
Dan kept flying as the aliens pursuit while firing as Dan look back at them and the notices the geyser and gets an idea, smirking as he dives down. "Coming in for a landing!" "What's he doing?" Twilight asked as Kate responds. "Knowing him, something crazy." Dan kept smirking as he was getting close to the clogged geyser, only to stop at the last sec and shot upward. "BEEP, BEEP!" He cries as he flew past the 2 aliens as they crashed into the geyser, covered in thick slime. "Never seen an intergalactic Fender Bender like that before." Max comments as they all smile as Dan shows up. "Need a lift?"
As they arrived at the Tick, they noticed it was bigger then before. "It's getting bigger." "Looks like it grows as it feeds." Celestia spoke to Max as Dan smirks. "Time for this thing to go on the Humungousaur diet!" He dials in and slaps down on the Omnitrix. FLASH
The watch sinks into his arm as veins protrude out of his arm, traveling up to his eye as he shuts it before it shot open, making it all green with black markings around it. A tail shot out of the base of his spine as black spines ripped from the back of his shirt. He then grew bigger and buffer as black fingerless gloves with green cuffs forms on his growing hands. He spun around before facing the 4th wall. He then roars out as he pumps his arms while slamming his tail on the ground, posing as the transformation is complete.
Humungousaur lands several punches and tail slams and sonic blasts towards the Tick, only for nothing to work as he was slammed away, causing him to time out. After recovering, Dan got back up and walks up to the bug. "No problem! I got 9 guys left! I'll burn it off!" FLASH Heatblast fires a large burst of flame, but it didn't work as he stops and see the tick is fireproof.
Tear-Wolf tires his iron claws, only for them to not make a scratch as his teeth is no good ether!
XLR8's rabid strikes and claws were no match as well. Even making a tornado didn't work as well!
Shock Rock's electricity didn't even touch it as his weapons were no good ether.
Goop's acid didn't work as well as he can't even get up close as his projector was knocked away.
Upgrade tried to merge, but got rejected harshly and his laser was no good, ether.
Astrodactyl tires his star power, but his rings and whips didn't even pierce the shell.
Overflow's water couldn't even wash it off as his blades can't even scratch the shell.
Dan breaths heavily as he glanced back at the worried people. "Okay... I give! This thing is indestructible!" "Could this get any more worst?" Twilight groans out. Just then, the worshippers returned. The tall alien looked to the middle one. "Reverse beam flow." He ordered. The middle alien released a beam from his axe, which formed a forcefield around the Tennysons. Max banged his fist against it, which only ended up shocking him. "It's time for the final purification of your planet!" The middle alien announced. "And you four along with it." "Please tell me we have a Plan B?" Kate whimpered. "I calculated all the odds and rechecked my math and they all add up to one thing: We're doomed." Twilight groans out.
As the mutant tree husks were shriveling up, the group of 5 were tossed at the Great One's feet and the tall alien placed a sponge into each of their hands. "What are we supposed to do with these?" Kate asked. "Before the Great One can cleanse your planet forever, he must be cleansed." The tall alien explained. They looked to see the Great One secreting disgusting pus and goo from its pores as the girls recoiled in disgust. "No way! I am not scrubbing that thing's feet!" Dan said and threw his sponge down. The middle alien responded by swiping another energy blast at their feet, which knocked them backwards and they stood up, dazed. "Do as they say." Max encouraged. "For now." "This is disgusting." Celestia groans out as they picked up the sponges and proceeded to start cleaning the Great One.
The small alien held his ear against the Great One as it oozed slime and smiled. "He says he missed us. It was not our fault, Great One. Please forgive us." "Forgiveness. Forgiveness." The worshippers chorused. The Tennysons scrubbed down the blue goop secreting from the Great One as Dan looked on with absolute disgust. "Oh man!" He groaned. "Could this get any nastier?" As he said this, Kate tried to scrub the Great One down some more, only for some white tick-like creatures to crawl out, causing her to scream and throw the bugs off her. "Gross! Space lice!"
They then noticed the trees in the background shrivel up and die into black husks as the ground turned into a more greyish landscape that was incapable of supporting any life. "We're running out of time!" Max said. "If we don't do something, all of humanity and Earth will be no more!" Celestia spoke out "My aliens can't even make a dent in this thing!" Dan said. "I tried everyone." "Not exactly everyone. Remember number 11?" Kate reminded them. "No way!" Dan protested. "I am not turning into that ball thing again! Besides, I don't even know if I could." "Don't try and Earth turns into a giant cesspool!" Kate reminded them as they watched the dead branches fall off the trees. "And if Earth goes down, it will take Equestria with it!" "I hate it when you 2 are right!" Dan shouted at the smart girls.
Just then, cracks forms on the Tick as pieces of it's shell falls off as the human backed away. "It's...shedding?" "More like transforming into something!" Max exclaims. The Aliens were actually glad of this turn of events. "His beauty." His power." "His pus." "The end is upon us." "Dan! Do it!" Twilight exclaims as the boy realized he's got no choice. "Here goes nothing." FLASH
Dan's arms became bloated as his body became fat and round as his neck shrunk while armor plates grew on his back and arms. He then spin into a ball and poses, finishing transforming.
"It worked!" Dan exclaims, now the new alien, only to fall back. "What now?" "Destroy them all." The aliens start firing beams at the humans as they run away, only to noticed some beams bounced off the shell. "The scales will reflects the beams." "Everyone! Grabs a shield!" Celestia calls out as they grabbed discarded scales and used them for protection. Max grabbed another shield and deflects in some sweet moves. Celestia stomps on one and flips it up, twirling and grabbing it as she tosses it and knocks the 3 aliens senseless. "You have got to teach me those moves." Twilight smiles out as they kept going and shielding, while Dan managed to get back up, only to noticed that they were cornered.
"Time to rock and roll! Wait a sec..." His eyes widened as a memory flashed back in his head as Aaron turns into Wreckingbolt and said the same thing, showcasing his abilities as Dan smirks out. "Never thought I'll say this, but thank you, Aaron!" He curls up into a ball and spin dashes off! He smashes into the tall alien, sending him flying as he aimed and bounced off some rocks to hit the smaller one and the launches up high and slams down on the Axe alien. "3 Strikes and you're all out!" he quips as he manages to catch his family and lands safely away.
"Whoa... when did you learned that?" "Thank Aaron! I just realized that this is Wreckingbolt's good twin!" Twilight slaps her forehead as she smiles. "Of course! That's why he's familiar! This is the Omnitrix's version of Wreckingbolt!" Suddenly, Dan was assaulted by lasers, but was able to reflect them with his plates, sending an energy wave back them. "And just call me, Cannonbolt!" Suddenly, he got slimed as the Great One let's out several piles of slime as it gets ready to end the job, making the humans gasp as the ground crumbles beneath them. Let the digestion began!" The tall alien worships as they managed to recover, only for Max to cried out. "Digest this!" The elder whacks the alien off as Cannonbolt rolls towards the Tick, avoiding the slime and ground quakes as he glares up. "The bigger they are, the harder they'll fall! Time to give this bug the worst case of indigestion!" He rolls up a rock ramp and into a loose pocket of skin. "Open wide and say 'AHHHHHHH'!" He grins out as the worshippers cried out in terror. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Cannonbolt was demolishing everything in the Tick. Heart, Ribcage, Stomach, Organs, everything. He was tearing the place up as he bounces around like a pinball. As Cannonbolt was finishing up, the Great One's skins start shifting uncontrollably as its shell breaks off, until... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Tick gunk was raining everywhere as the worshipers were stunned as the humans shields themselves. "Ultimate Yuck! it's raining tick guts! It's grosser than Goop himself!" "There are times like these I wished I stayed at Crystal Prep..." Twilight groans in disgust as she struggles to hold down her lunch. In the shattered remains of the Great One, Cannonbolt emerges as he groans at himself. "Okay... NOW! I need a shower." He shakes his arms off of the gunk in response.
"Nothing. The Great One is silenced, forever." The small alien moans out as he holds a shard. "You destroyed him!" The aliens approached as Cannonbolt got ready to fight. Only... "Hail to the new Great one!" "Hail! Hail!" "Whatever." The Axe alien groans out. The other 2 starts bowing as the other walked dup. "Not too loyal, aren't they?" But Cannonbolt merely smiles at his sister's comment. "I can get use to this! Heck! If the Princesses finds out, maybe they can make me a king." "Don't push it, young man." Celestia points at him, only for the Omnitrix to time him out. "That's right. I forgot. You're just an undeveloped human specimen." "Well... When you put it that way." Dan said, still dripping tick goop. The 2 aliens left for there ship as the 3rd one stayed behind and waves at them. "Enjoy the rest of your day." He catches up as they enter in and left Earth.
"Actually, I think there's plenty more days to come." Max smiles out. "It looks like everything is going back to normal." Kate smiles as the landscape was being restored back its original form. "Without the Tick, Nature can heal itself." "Well, I'm glad the world is okay." Celestia and Twilight breaths out as Dan shakes off the goo. "Hate to break it to you guys. But nothing I do is normal!" "Good job, Dan." "Yeah! I'm the kid who saved Earth, again!" Dan kicks back and gazes up to the clear sky with a smile.
Later, after finding out the gunk had covered in Tick goo and Overflow was able to give a quick and through washdown, the gang were enjoying some lunch as Sunset and Ken came out and yawns. "Wow! What a nap! Must have dozed for quite a while." The girl stretches her arms out as Ken cries out. "Hey, guys! So, did we miss anything?" The others just smile sat each other and said. "Naw! Not much." The 2 joins them as they enjoyed the day as Old Faithful erupts in the distance.
