James pounded on Jett's door. "Jett! Open the door!" He yelled, still pounding on the door.
"Why are you pounding on Jett's door?" Lucy asked, walking over to James.
"Kendall is still alive." James said.
"What? I thought they found his body?" Lucy asked.
"Jett helped Kendall disappeared. Mr. Bitters 'kidnapped Kendall' and Carlos apparently helped too but I called him and he said he never helped Kendall disappeared. And I went to visit Mr. Bitters and a cop said he hanged himself and there was a note left and the handwriting looked exactly like Kendall's handwritting from the note Jett had." James said.
"So Kendall left that message for Mr. Bitters?" Lucy said.
"I don't think he did. That didn't looked like his handwriting. But it doesn't add up, none of it does." James said.
Lucy got a hair pin and started to pick at Jett's door.
"What are you doing?" James asked.
"We're in." Lucy said, opening Jett's door. James followed Lucy in Jett's apartmnent. "We're going to look for clues."
James and Lucy walked in Jett's apartment.
"So what exactly are we looking for?" Lucy asked.
James picked something up. "What is this?"
"What are you two during in my apartment?" Jett asked, walking in his apartment.
"Who sent this letter to you?" James said.
"I don't know." Jett said.
"You're lying." James said.
"No I'm not." Jett said.
"Yes you are." Now tell us what is going on. Where's Kendall?" James said.
"You two really need to leave. Here you can have this." Jett said, handing James a piece of paper. "I have something to do now."
Outside of Jett's apartment
"So, what do we do now?" Lucy asked.
"We find out the truth." James said.
James and Lucy went to an old building.
"So what are we doing here?" James asked.
"We won't be watch here." Jett said.
"What do you mean watched?" James said.
"Someone sent me that note you found. The same person who wrote the note that I told you Kendall wrote it." Jett said.
"Why did you lie then?" James said.
"At first I thought he did write it but then I learned it wasn't actually him." Jett said.
"And you lied about Carlos helping Kendall with his disappearance. I called Carlos and he said he knew nothing about." James said.
"I didn't lie. That's what Kendall told me. That someone else was part of the planned other than me or Bitters. Someone he could trust. I figured it was one of his best friends." Jett said.
"So who's the other guy then?"
"That's just it. I don't know." Jett said.
Katie was staring at the thing in her hands when the apartment door opened and James walked in.
"What's that in your hands?" He asked.
"A package. I haven't opened it yet and have no idea who sent it to me." She said. A few moments later, she opened it and when she did, she threw it to the floor.
"W - What is that?" James asked, not really wanna look at it anymore.
"It's a dead rat." She said and picked up the note. "1121 Lane St. It's an address."
"We need to figure out who sent you that package." James said.
Someone put the evidence they had in the fire and watched it burn. Now it was time to pay someone a little visit.
Kendall knocked on the door.
"What are you doing here?"
"I - I need your help." He said.
"Did you found out who sent the package yet?" James asked.
"No I didn't. Whoever did left no traces." Mr. Simmons said.
"Kendall's still alive." James said.
"I had my suspicons he was."
"Just because Mrs. Knight hired doesn't mean I trust you." James said.
"She didn't hired me. Your boss Arthur Griffin did."
"What?" James said.
"He recommended me to find Kendall." Mr. Simmons said.
"I wish I never trusted you." Kendall said.
"Lucy's in the hospital!" Logan yelled running in the apartment.
"What happened?" James said.
"She was shot." Logan said.
"Is she going to be okay?"
"I'm not sure." Logan said.
Hoped you liked it. Will Lucy be okay? Who shot her? Who is the third person Kendall trusted? Who sent that package to Katie? I'm working at a haunted trail and I have Sun - Thurs off and work Fridays and Saturdays nights. So I probably wont post anything until next week. But you're only a few chapters away until the truth comes out what really happened about Kendall's disappearance.
