Magical Alien Summer EP 22: Ghoulies and Ghostfreaks Part 3: The search for a riddle.
As Dan made his way through a storeroom, he comes across Crivens' room, only to find it overrun with flying Imps. "Oh, man! An infestation of Animo's creeps." The boy groans out as the door locks behind him with the Gravestone Challenge appearing. The flying critters noticed the boy and giggles creepily, making the kid dials his alien watch. "Please give me Shock Rock. Heck, I'll even take Upgrade." FLASH
"Cannonbolt again? Not what I was expecting, but I'll might as well roll with it. Literally." The good roller alien went to town on the monsters, using the large room to his advantage to bounce around and smashing, bashing and crushing the beasts, even when more came in through the windows. He lastly smashed 2 imps into the cabinet, slumping down as Crivens opens it, looking around to see no more ghoulies. "Bravo, young sire! An excellent display of fisticuffs."
The alien responds back. "It's no problem! Now, Crivens, about my friends…" The kindly butler cuts him off as he answers. "You wish to release them from their bonds and find the others, correct?" "Yeah! Nothing we tired worked on them." "There is a way to free them. The master of this place holds the key to set them loose. But the door to his quarters is sealed by a powerful magic riddle." "A riddle? Great! Of all the times I need Twilight's brain, she has to get kidnapped." Cannonbolt face palms and groans out in annoyance.
The older man thinks for a bit, only to remember something. "I did once have the Riddle written down, but Fiddlesworth told the master and he confiscated it. He then tore it to 3 parts." "SAY WHAT?!" The alien exclaims with panic as the man gestures to calm down. "Fret not, sire! I happen to know where there are! One is in the Greenhouse. Another is in the Stables. And the last one has been given to Dr. Animo in his laboratory."
The alien hero counts the places in his fingers, nodding in response. "May I suggest the Greenhouse to start? Go upstairs and through the infirmary fire escape. From there, it's just a short stroll through the lawns and the Cottage Garden. Good luck!" "Thanks, Crivens!" Dan waves back as he times out and jogs back to the others.
Intro:
A Galaxy is shown with some planets as outer space music is heard.
Just for a flash of green light to occur and shows the Omnitrix symbol with Dan's silhouette in the middle as the song picks up.
"It started when an alien device did what it did."
The 1st clip is Dan, discovering the Omnitrix as it latches onto his arm as he panics.
He then presses down on the dial as it transforms him into Heatblast as he cries out.
"And stuck itself upon his wrist with secrets that it hid."
"Now he's got superpowers, he's no ordinary kid. He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
The logo flashes a bit, before showing off aliens:
Grey Matter, Overflow, Shock Rock, Heatblast, Tear-Wolf, Goop and Astrodactyl.
"So if you see him, you might be in for a big surprise."
"He'll turn into an alien before your very eyes!"
The boy is then shown transforming into Tear-Wolf as 6 more aliens appear and zooms in:
Goop, Shock Rock, XLR8, Humungousaur, Heatblast and Tear-Wolf.
" He's slimy, freaky, fast and strong, he's every shape and size."
"He's Dan 10! (Dan 10!)"
Just then, a flash-animated Dan is running towards the screen and then flips and morphs into Tear-Wolf.
He bites at the screen as a black and green '1'. appear next to him.
2: Humungousaur is next as he grins and slams his tail down, making a sonic blast.
3: Grey Matter leaps at the screen, only to go splat in a comic fashion.
4: XLR8 appears and zooms away.
"Armed with powers, he's on the case!"
"Fighting off evil from Earth or space!"
5: Upgrade wiggles his legs around as he raises his arms.
6: Shock Rock generates lots of power and blasted a large beam of blue energy across the screen.
7: Overflow flies upward on his water blasts.
8: Astrodactyl displays his whips and then rockets away on his jetpack.
"He'll never stop 'till he makes them pay!"
"'Cause he's the baddest kid to ever save the day!"
9: Goop emerges out of his puddle form and throws a long punch in the air.
10: Heatblast chucks a fireball at the screen as Dan himself lands on the ground with his fist, cracking it as he gives a big grin.
"Dan 10! (Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan! Dan 10! D-D-D-Dan!)"
Tear-Wolf is then shown leaping form some trees as he looks fierce.
Shock Rock poses as he finishes transforming.
Sunset and the Rainbooms are shown powering up into their magic forms.
Heatblast chucks a fireball.
Dan is then shown slapping down on the Omnitrix.
The Mane 6, Spike, the royal sisters, the royal crystal family, Discord, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie and reformed Changelings and Dan in griffon form stood together as they glare at an adversity as the Omnitrix boy just smirks with crossed arms.
Twilight is shown fight a giant bird monster as she uses her Geode's magic to slam it down on the ground.
Humungousaur roars out as he finishes transforming.
XLR8 is shown running on top of water.
The opening finishes up as the aliens all got sucked into the Omnitrix as Dan shows it while green rays came from it as the title appear next to him.
Dan 10: Magical Alien Summer.
As the boy hero made his way to the other door of the Storeroom, something burst out of a cabinet, making him glance back in surprise at a bald man wearing a wizard's robe, a wand with a skull on it, and fangs with red eyes and horn on his balding white hair head. "What is that?!" He exclaims in surprise as the man waves his wand and cheers. "That would be my latest creation: The Warlock!" The kid's attention went to a nearby air vent as it retracts back, unfolding to display of Animo himself with a grin. "Greetings, Tennyson! I see that you managed to cure your little friend. Such a pity. She was way better before in my opinion." "ANIMO! I'm so going to kick your butt for what you did to Sunset and my friends!"
"Yes, well. Let get introduction on the way! This being is my newest invention! You see, I managed to extract a sample of your little friends' magical abilities. I realized that I could use the new magic to supercharge my newest mutant! I combined it with some of my DNA, to create the very being before! Nothing can stop the Genius—" The boy interrupts with a bored look and a mocking gesture. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! 'I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread!' I get it! Can we just skip to the part where I kick your monster into next week?" Animo humph in annoyance. "It's no fun if you interrupt me, you know that?!" His screen retracts back.
The Warlock fires a few magic blasts from his wand, making Dan leaps to the side as the man cheers. Using it as a time to transform, he turns into XLR8, launching into speedy assaults that the wizard didn't even stand a chance. As the Warlock tires a barrage of magic burst, XLR8 effortlessly dodge them all and landed a double drop kick to it's chest, sending it smashed into some crates as they piled on top.
As the mutant fades away, the door unlocks, making the alien times out. "'Greatest work ever'. HA!" Dan smirks as he snaps his fingers, walking out with his hands in his pockets with a big smirk.
As Sunset and the others waited around, they saw Dan walks out of the room while dusting his hands off. "Well… I'm back!" "Well, what did you find out?" The teen spoke out. Dan then explain what Crivens told him. "And now we just need to figure out who goes where to get the riddles?" "Well, we're going to stay with Sunset. Seeing that we're tied up at the moment." Starlight gestures as Fluttershy nods.
"Well, since the Stables sounds trickery, it's obvious who goes there." Aaron smirks out as Pinkie gasp and spoke out. "Who?! Dan!? Sunset?! Princess Twilight!? Spike!? Principal Celestia!? Star Swirl the bearded?! Oops! That doesn't happen for at least 15 chapters! Never mind!" Pinkie squeals as she hops away.
As the group recovers from Pinkie's outburst, Aaron spoke out. "I meant me!" "Ohh…. Why didn't you say so silly!?" Pinkie stuck her tongue out with a smile as Aaron groan and facepalms in annoyance. "Can we please leave her behind? I'm sure no one will notice." "No. And trust me, getting rid of Pinkie Pie is like trying to get Rainbow Dash and Applejack to try and stop competing with each other." Dan comments as the rest of the CHS Students nods in conformation.
"Anyway, I'll take the Greenhouse while Aaron takes the Stables. We'll both meet up here and confront Animo in the lab, deal?" Aaron shakes the hand. "Deal. I'll take the way through the Garbage Yard." "And I'm going upstairs through that open big door." Dan points at the right door that isn't boarded up. They both went there respected paths as the others wished them luck.
As Dan went into the Upper Corridors, he was surprised to see a bunch of mummies, beating each other up for some reason. "Well… I could try to sneak past them, undetected. But…." He smiles as he slaps down on the Omnitrix. FLASH
Dan thrust his arms to the side as magma and rocks cover him up, just as the same happened to the legs. His transformed head is engulfed in fire as he grins and poses.
"That's not as fun!" Heatblast then fired duel flame blasts, burning away the mummies until ashes are left. "Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust." He grins as he dusts his hands and went through the door into the Bathroom. As he made his way into the large tub in the center, he heard some noises that sounds like muffled yelling. "What was that?" He glances around, noticing the steam room that is covered in fog from the heat.
He waves the steam away as he made his way in, finding Applejack gagged and tied, sweating from the heat, making the alien got her out and into the cool air, making her sighs out as the alien pulls the gag off and burns it. "Oh wee! I was sweating harder than a hog in a hot barn. Thanks, Dan!" "No problem A.J.!" He smiles, only for the door out to slam with a challenge of 'destroy all' appearing. "Stay back! Things are getting heated up!" The teen girl nods as the alien sat her safely by the steam room.
5 Haunted Coats sprang to life but were burned to crisps instantly by fireballs. Only for Ninja Imps to burst out of the covers from changing rooms and one near the exit. Heatblast quickly kicked the nearest one away and flings flaming discs, while also making sure to absorb and stary flames to avoid setting the Mansion on fire. After blasting the last Ninja Imp, Skeletons popped out from the covers near the Steam Room, but where punched and kicked into piles.
The door opens as Heatblast carries Applejack out. "Thanks for getting me out, sugarcube! I was sweating up a storm in there. I hope the others is okay." She got a worried look as they made their way through the Schoolroom. "Well, we managed to find most of them. But i don't know where Twilight. She's probably around here, somewhere."
They made into the Infirmary, as the alien times out while A.J. stands on her own tied feet. But luckily, Fiddlesworth approaches the 2. "Sheer my Sheep! Fancy meetin' you 'ere, lad! Your friend told me how you're off to find the Riddle, eh?" "Yeah! Oh, Applejack: This is Fiddlesworth, the groundskeeper! He helped me out at the Boathouse and the Farmyard." "Howdy to you too. So, do you know where Twilight is, Mr. Fiddelsworth?" The man answers back. "Well, I know that flamed haired gal is with about 3 others. But I don't know where this 'Twilight' is, I'm afraid. Anyway, you off through me Cottage Garden to the Greenhouse, as 's?"
"Yep! I need to search there for a riddle to the Master Quarters, that has a key to open that lock and the others." Dan explains to the teen as he points at the padlock on the cowgirl. The man smiles as he takes out the water blaster. "Not to worry! I'll take her back to Miss Sunset while you head off! Best take Little Willy's water squirter as there has been some strange things happening there."
The boy thanks the man as he grabs the weapon as he carries A.J. off as the girl wished him luck. The boy then looks around the room and notices an open door, throwing his hood up in the rain as he made his way out to a bunch of steps. "Crivens said to go down the Fire Escape to the Cottage Garden through the lawns. Guess I know where to go." The kid hero then dashes through the wet grass as he made his way past a door in the large hedge, heading into the Garden.
The boy glances around to spot the Greenhouse on top of the hill. "Guess I'm climbing up as myself." He uses the trail to navigate, stopping to spray some Zombies and Pirates that ambushed him. As he walks around a large, dead tree, he can't help but whistle at it. "Man! Bet Tear-wolf would love to climb that." A hill climb later, and he manages to meet up with Fiddelsworth at the entrance.
"Sniff my Snapdragon! Glad to see yer made it, lad! The water squirter ain't no good fer the Greenhouse, though. Infested by the Feathered Freaks! Best take Ol' Edna wi' yer again! I'll wait here while you sort them out." The 2 swapped weapons as Dan comments as he went in. "I'm really not liking this night."
The boy made into the Greenhouse, throwing his hood back as he finds himself in a large garden with a bunch of vegetables placed like a maze, with Vampire chickens roaming about. Luckily, the watch recharged, alerting Dan with a smile. "Okay! This can make things a lot easier! Just work with me for once….." FLASH
XLR8 grins out. "Double or nothing for the need for speed! Sweet!" Using his sonic speed, he zips through the maze in record time, making his way past the chickens and towards the door. XLR8 has arrived at the Potting room, seeing the first piece of the Riddle on a lone shelf at the back. "The first piece! Now we're talking!" He zips by, grabbing the paper and rushing out. But as he reached the door out of the Greenhouse, it went into Challenge mode, making him stop quickly before slamming into it! "Oh, man! I knew this was too easy!"
He then notices a large group of Vampire Chickens charging at him as he looks back at the Gravestone Icon. "All right! Time to see if these chickens can really fly!" Using his speed, he runs circles around the mutants, sending them flying and crashing everywhere. He then starts unleashing a barrage of speedy punches, kicks, and hits all around the place as he zooms around like Pinkie Pie after having a major Sugar Rush.
XLR8 stops by the door. "Well, at least I sent those bird brains clucking! Ha, clucking. I crack myself up sometimes. HA! Crack!" The boy laughs towards himself and eventually calmed down. Only for his smile to die down as he saw the monsters were recovering with little to no injuries. "I did not expect that." BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH "Or that!" Dan exclaims as he glanced at himself.
The Chickens starts rushing at the boy, who quickly spots Ol' Edna, laying near the door as he made a mad dash and grabbed it. "Come on, Edna! Don't fail me now!" The boy then starts blasting Garlic after Garlic at the monster birds, destroying them one by one as he backs up to the door. CLICK CLICK Dan was surprised as he noticed his weapon wasn't firing. "On no! Please don't tell me I'm out of ammo!"
He glances up to as a lone Chicken is left, glaring at him with beady little green eyes. The boy tries shaking the gun and smacking it a few times, trying to get it to fire. "Come on! Please! Work!" Dan notices the bird leapt at him, mouth opened wide and it's fangs bared. "GAAHHHHH!" He desperately panic as he points the gun and pulls the trigger. BOOM "RRRAAAAAAAAAA!" The chicken flew backwards and smashed into some crates, fading to green smoke as the door opens as the boy blinks and then smiles. "Well, what do you know? One Garlic left."
After throwing his hood up into the rain, he met up with Fiddlesworth as he hands the gun back. "It got a little dicey, back there, but I took care of them, alien style!" "Pluck my Pickle! Thanks again for getting me out of another jam, lad! I'll take Ol'Edna back now and be on my way. Got some Groundskeeping to do at the gardens." The man heads off as Dan notices the rain was slowing down, making him glazed up to see the storm is letting up. "Looks like the Storm is blowing off at last. Glad I'm not heading back here again now that I got the 1st piece of the Riddle. Hmm… I wonder how Aaron is holding up on his end?" Dan ponders with a finger on his chin.
As Dan was securing his part of the Riddle, Aaron made his way through the Farmyard and into the Foundry. "Well, a little rough back there, but nothing my aliens can't handle, unlike Tennyson." The teen smirks as he walks into the large blacksmith area. Glancing around to find nothing, after dealing with a 'finding a key' challenge as well, Aaron presses on and heads towards the Stable door, only to get surprised by a Haunted Door ambush! "Figures! I knew it was too easy!" He leapt back and transformed, turning into Quad Fist.
The Door tries to whack the alien, only to grab it and chucks it at the large furnace, burning to ashes as a Skeleton pops out, but a single double punch took care of it. The alien dusts his hands off and continues on, having some trouble squeezing through the door and popping out as he stumbles and recovers. "Okay, Note to self: Quad Fist can be really difficult on doorways."
As he made a few steps into the Stables, he noticed something off: There was no horses! "Huh… Wonder where all the horses went off?" Just then, he hear some giggling from above, making him glanced upward. Just then, a swarm of Fire Imps flew down and hover around, getting ready to attack. "There's the problem, fire monster infestation!" FLASH
"Luckily, Undertow is just the Exterminator for the job!" He declared as he made large slime whips for combat. The little monsters starts flying at him, only to get doused and knocked away by the mutant water armored alien. Undertow propels himself forward and unleashed a massive slime wave, dousing the area and the monsters, along with some hidden Spiders as well. "Looks like that Animo should have made his monsters waterproof!"
He the notices a piece of paper, turning into Sonic Boom and grabs it. "Nice! Got my piece of the Riddle. Now to get out of here!" He zooms back to the door at high speed, making it back into the Foundry. But was cut off by a bunch of Mummies wandering around, locking the exit as a 'destroy all' challenge appeared.
As the alien was stunned by the turn of events, he noticed a vent retracting and displaying a video screen as Animo appears. "Well, well, well…. If isn't Dan's silly teenage knockoff friend." "KNOCKOFF?! I dare you to say that face-to-face, you smelly old has-been scientist!" Sonic Boom hisses out as he retracts his visor. "Now why would I do that when I can be very secure in my laboratory? So, you and Tennyson are looking for the pieces of the Riddle? I happened to have the 3rd on me, by chance! If you want it, try, and get it from me! In the Meantime, let me introduce you to the Mummies' cousin!" He snaps his fingers on cue. Just then, out of some places, burst out a new type of Ghoulie.
It is a mummy, but unlike the others, it has purple skin, a stubby build, orange eyes, and is wrapped in bandages around certain parts of his body. He also wears an Egyptian mask covering the top half of his face and he carries a stone tablet with hieroglyphics encrypted. "Say hello to the Cursed Mummy! Crossing the Rainbooms magic with a mummy produced a tougher variety that allow him to use the power of curses, giving him the ability to make a curse that upon contact, can destroy anyone I target within 20 seconds." "Yeah? Will, it will just take me 10 to destroy them!" He zips around and delivers some hard and fast hit on the monster, only for his attacks to have no effect.
"Gr… Can't these things stay down?!" He dodges the Mummies attacks and made sure to disrupt the Cursed varieties from chanting. "Forget it! My Mummies are immune to all Physical attacks and force! My genius knows no limits! Soon, the World will recognize my genius and will tremble at the mere name of Dr. Animo! It is only a matter of time before you go down in flames!" Suddenly, Sonic Boom gets an idea at the word 'flames', gazing at the open furnace. "If it works on Haunted Doors…." He started to spin in a cyclone, much alike to XLR8, gathering the mummies up in the wind. After it died down, all the Mummies looks dizzy as Sonic Boom heads at them, turning into Wrecking Bolt and rolls up.
The Impact has knocked all the Mummies into the Furnace, burning them to ashes as they groan and moan in agony. Wrecking Bolt smirks as Animo cries out. "NOOOOO! My Mummies! You are just as annoying as Tennyson! You little, EMO Brat!" "I'm not EMO!" The video screen retracts as the door opens, making Aaron smirks as he changes back into Sonic Boom, speeding out of the door, through the Farmyard, into the Woodshed, out to the Garbage Yard, back inside the Freezer, and into the Kitchen.
The Teen transforms back as he gazes around, finding nothing. "Guess Ma must have left somewhere to take care of a soup or something." He saw an open door and went through it.
Meanwhile, Dan made his way down the hill and was about to go around the large tree, when he heard a noise, making him glanced around to find nothing and keeps going, only to hear a sound coming from above, making him glanced up to a shadow figure on a branch, but can't see it as the rain makes it hard to figure out the figure.
Just then, a lightning flash briefly illuminates the being, revealing a tall, lean woman in a cloak. She has short purple hair that goes to her bottom neck and lipstick with pale skin. She suddenly flashes open her eyes, revealing black eyes with yellow with silted pupils. The woman glances down at the child and hisses out, flashing her 4 fangs as she spreads her arms out, revealing claws on the hands and a cape attached to her arms. She is also wearing a green and red strapless dress that covers her feet and swoops down as Dan quickly dashed out of the way. The woman, now a vampire turns back and snarls at the child.
"Whoa! A vampire?! This is… THE COOLEST THING EVER!" Dan quickly dials his watch and slaps down. FLASH
Dan's body became huge as his arms became buffed as a tail shoot out. A bunch of spines grew on his back as he finishes transforming.
"Oh yeah! Going Prehistoric Style!" Humungousaur grins out. The Vampire tries to swipe her claws, but his dense armor skin didn't even felt it, leaving her vulnerable to a punch that send her crashing into the hedges, making the Dinosaur leaps from the hill and walks forwards to the monster. Only for the being to leap up and grabs onto him, making them both wrestle around as they smashed through rocks and wood.
Humungousaur got her off and tail slams a blast at her, but the Ghoul was quicker and dodges, getting up close and biting on his tail. Luckily, his thick skin prevent from puncturing, but he did felt discomfort, like a brief pinch. "Ow! So… you want to play dirty, huh, Fang Face?" He then slams his tail all over the place, smacking the vampire around.
He sends her flying at the large tree, making large cracks from the impact. The alien approaches, only for a familiar beep. BEEP BEEP BEEP "Oh no!" FLASH The Vampire rubs her head off of pain as she glances up in surprise at the boy, who weakly smiles with sweat. "Uhhh….. That 'Fang Face' nickname? I meant it in a nice way! And would it help that I'm a big fan of monsters?" But the woman grins as she shows her claws and fangs, making the boy got an 'uh-oh' look. "Apparently, not." He took off as he ran back to the door he went through to get to the Garden, making him rush towards it while screaming. The Vampire flies up and dives at him, fangs, and claws ready to tear him apart.
Dan poured on extra speed, getting closer to the door as the woman was right behind him! Just as she was about to sink her fangs in, Dan slides in and the door slams shut, making the Vampire smashed face first into the door with a groan and slumps down. Dan was outside as he took some breaths.
"Okay…. Not…. Going…. Back there…." Dan gasp for breath, as he clams himself down. He then stands up and dusts his clothes off. "Well, at least she can't get through the door. I'm safe now!" Only to feel a rumble as he looks out to the backyard to see giant plant ghoulies with fanged filled mouths busting out of the ground, hissing and growling at him. But just as things could not get worst, he looks up and spot the female Vampire, along with a male verson with wings on his back and a fancy suit, both on top of the hedge while looking down with blood-hungry looks and grins. "Me and my big mouth..." Dan groans out as he screams as he made a run for it!
As the boy kept running as fast as he can, avoiding the plant and vampires, he rushed back up the Fire Escape as he made it back to the Infirmary! "That should hold for a bit. Now, I just need to get out of here, quick!" Dan exclaims as he can feel both vampires trying to break the door down. He decides to double back to the Schoolroom, but find vines block it and the watch is still in the red. "Great!" He looks around, trying to find something when he spots an opening to the right, rushing down to come across a boarded-up door, making the kid looks around and noticed a nearby hammer.
"Looks like I got no other choice." He shrugs out as he used the hammer's back part to pry out the nails, pulling with all his might. He managed to get 2 of the boards off as he is almost down with the 3rd. But suddenly, he heard glass being shattered as he realized the vampires broke through the large window. "Oh, man!" He pulls with all his might, managing to get the last nail and board as he heard the vampires coming as they hiss, quickly fumbling with the knob as he opened the door and quickly slams it behind him.
As Dan took some deep breaths, he placed his ear on the door to hear the Vampires. As the boy listens to it, he heard the Vampires snarling on the other side, but soon left as Dan stood back, sighing out as vines cover the door. "That was close... Another minute there and I would be a snack to those Fang Faces." He looks back and sees he is in some sort of room that has stairs that leads up. "Where am I?" He decides to check the Map for his location. But just as he looks at it, he can't make heads or tails as the room doesn't appear on the map as he scratches his head in confusion. "This can't be right."
But just then, the map magical changes and recalculate his location. "Oh! There we are! Looks like I'm in the 'Gallery'. Whatever that is." He mumbles out as he spots some new rooms as well. "Okay! If I go through this room, past the library, the observatory and lastly, the museum, I'll end up back in the upper corridors and then back to the lobby!" Dan taps the paper as he folds it back up and into his jacket as he went up the stairs, coming across a large room that has paintings of Ghoulies on the walls, even a couple Dan had never saw before.
"There's got to be a door around here." He spoke out as he looks around for an exit. But just then, he heard a noise as he glances to see a paint can rolls to a stop, making the boy realizes he is not alone in the room. Spotting a stool, he picks it up as a weapon as he looks around, just as a shadow pass behind him as he whirls back with a stun look. "Uh... Twilight? Is that you?" He quickly throws the stool away and went for a chair. As the boy slowly made his way halfway through, he can't help but feel like some of the paintings were watching him.
Dan smiles as he spots a hallway that leads left with some stairs. "All right. Home free." But what the kid didn't know is 5 shadows popped out of the Werewolf paintings and were slowly creeping up on him. One reaches out and taps a claw on his shoulder. "Knock it off, Aaron. I'm busy." The beast did it again as Dan got annoyed and grabs the hand. "I'm serious!" Only to froze up at seeing the hair, clawed hand, slowly looking down the arm and back towards the beasts as they grin out their sharp teeth. "AAHHHHHH!" Dan cries out as he back away. Before him are 5 Werewolf-like-creatures with no tails and hunched physique and damaged shorts for clothes. The beasts snarl out as Dan cries out. "Werewolves, too?! It's like Animo is using everything but the kitchen sink when comes to monster making."
He quickly waves his chair around to try and scare them off. "Back! Back, I say!" but the Ghoulies just snarl as they used their claws to break the chair as Dan holds 2 of its leg pieces. "Oh, man!" As the Ghoulies were about to pouch on him, Dan noticed his sticks and gets an idea that he saw on Cartoons. He starts whistling as he waves the sticks around. "Here, boys! Here! you want the cools sticks?! You want them!?" To his surprise, it works as the Werewolves starts panting like dogs as they sat down on all 4's as they yipes as well. "Okay! You want them?! Go get them!" Dan cries out as he checks the sticks hard as they flew as the Werewolves chased after them, barking like dogs.
Dan then took the chance to rush towards the hall and spots an open door up some stairs, running up as the Werewolves came to their senses and realized what they were doing, making them roar out in anger as they ran after the boy, spotting him near the door as Dan quickly went in as they all leaps towards it, just as Dan quickly barricades it with some carts and knocking over a bookshelf, making the monsters slams into the door and starts pounding on it, trying to break it down, but falling. "That was even closer." Dan wipes some sweat from his forehead in response.
He then noticed the large library he is in. "Pretty spacy in here. Which means, just enough room for Humungousaur!" Dan grins as he dials in his strongest alien. FLASH
The watch sinks into his arm as Dan clutches his fist, thrusting it open as it turns into a 3 clawed hand covered by a green fingerless glove as his skin turned red and a bit muscle with gauntlets on his forearms. His mouth and noise turned into a large beak with a black and green strip on it. His head and hat shreds as a small crest that are pointed forms at the back of his skull. His back forms a jetpack-like structure as his clothes changed into a green and black bodysuit with a white belt. The watch symbol flashes from his left shoulder as the alien poses.
"Astrodactyl? Even better!" The alien grins out as he spreads his wings and took off into the air. Ushing his flight capabilities, he flew over the bookshelves with ease as he also whips down some Flying Imps as well, making his way towards a small area as he lands and went down the steps to a small storage area and spots an open door, going through it into an Observatory. Just as he found the door, it shuts with a 'find a key and defeat 7 Zombie Pirates' challenge. As the alien glances back, he spots Zombie Pirates, bursting out of some objects around the large room as the alien smirks out. "As I always say whip them hard and whip them good!" he took off and flew around the room, deploying his rings as they blew up a couple of pirates as he kept breaking objects around the room, trying to find the hidden key.
Just then... "WHOA!" He barley dodged a few treasure chests being thrown as he glances at the direction at where they came from, spotting the reminder pirates making and throwing the chest at the alien. "Want to play rough, huh? 'SQUACK'" He deploys his whips as he used them to grab a couple of chests and spins around and tosses them back at the pirates, smashing into 2 of them as the alien wraps his energy whips around the remanding 3 and flies around the room, dragging the undead monsters as they smashed into somethings, followed by Astrodactyl throwing them into the large sun in the middle of the room and crashing into it, only for it being to break apart as the alien stared wide-eyed at it. "Uhh... Maybe no one will notice?"
He times out as he lands, looking around at the destruction his transformation caused to the Observatory. "Maybe I should reign myself in a little in the next room." He noticed the key appeared where the sun object is as the door opens with the challenge completed. Looking around, Dan quickly made himself out of the room as he leaves his mess behind, just as a Skeleton maid walks in where he came in and looks around, making it throw down it's duster and hat in anger and stomps back.
As Dan took a deep breath from leaving the wreckage that was once the Observatory, he glances around to see he has arrived in the Museum. "Well, at least Grandpa Max or my aunts will never find out about back there." Dan comments as he adjusts his cap and dusts his jacket's sleeves off. But as he took a few steps forward, he heard a voice. "What was that?! I heard something! Or someone..." Panicking, Dan glances around and spot a nearby Egyptian exhibit and notices a hole nearby into it, making him quickly dash into the hole and hides behind some of the objects, couching down as well.
The boy decides to take a small peek out from his hiding place, poking his eye out through a crack, only for it to winded in shock at the being in front of him! For the being before him is the dreaded Grim Reaper! The figure of the Underworld himself looks fearsome, with his skeleton head with black soulless eyes with bright blue dots for pupils that scans around the area. His clawed bone hands grasp a wicked looking scythe as his build is tall and bulky like with spikes coming out of his elbows as his black clock covers his being and has the hood over his head.
As Dan holds his breath, the being scratches its head and shrugs out. "Must be some rats." "Let us go! Grrr!" Dan is stunned to hear a boy's voice as the reaper glanced back with a frown. "Great, the gag slipped off. I might have to switch to duct tape." As the being wanders off, Dan slowly pokes his head out as he is curious on what the Reaper said and why is he here. Once he knows the coast is clear, he slips out of the exhibit and sneaks his way forward, spotting a large pirate ship and smirks as he gets an idea.
He spots an opening in the cannon windows and climbs his way inside. "Made it in." He then tip toes to the other side of the cannons as he silently opens a window to peek out. Only to be more surprised to find 12 teens, captured like the girls! 5 of the boys is trapped in a Caveman exhibit, banging on the glass in desperation as their cries were muffled by soundproof glass. He also spots 5 girls tied to a nearby pillar and gagged and lastly, he spots a girl and a boy, tied to chairs back-to-back and have gags on them. "There you go! Back on there!" The Reaper smirks as the blonde boy mumbles out as he glares at the monster, just for said being to feel something and he conjures some smoke in his right hand and answers a figure in it. "Yes, master?" "The Moon is almost upon us! The Ritual is almost ready! How are the rest of those prisoners holding?" "Despite a few minor hiccups, everything is all secured, master!" "Good... Their energy is just the thing I need to finally stabilize my being and fulfill the agreement. Do not lose them or else!" "Yes, master!" The reaper bows as he disconnects.
The monster then rubs its stomach area. "Well, no sense in waiting on an empty stomach! I could use a snack." The being glanced at the boy and the girl on the chairs as their eyes widened in briefly, making the monster tower over them. The being grins out as he puts his scythe away. "Hold still..." He places both hands on each head as suddenly, a light blue aura is slowly being drained out of the teens and being absorbed into the Reaper as Dan watches in shock. "Whoa... The Reaper's a parasite!" After a bit, the Reaper stops as the 2 teen slouches in exhausting as the monster grins out. "Now that's more like it! Thanks for the snack, you 2!" He pats them both on the head as he picks up his scythe and got back to patrolling.
Dan ducks back as he spoke to himself. "Those kids looks familiar... Wait." He pulls out his phone and searched on the internet, finding a news article about 12 teens from a local town has gone missing in the past 3 days. Looking at the photos, he realized they match the kids outside, making them the lost teens. Dan realizes now is time to go hero. So, he activates the Omnitrix as it pops up to Heatblast's icon, making him dial past Grey Matter, Goop, Upgrade, Cannonbolt and stopping on Shock Rock's icon. "It's hero time." FLASH
Dan felt his arms turn grey and slimy as his eyes grew big as his head changed shape as his hair and cap disappeared as well. His clothes also changed as he felt his teeth became sharp points while gills forms on his cheeks. But as he finished changing, he shrinks down until he is the size of one's palm as he places his hand on the ground and poses.
Grey Matter looks at himself in dismay. "For once, can't you ever agree with my ideas?" "What was that?! it came from the pirate ship!" Widing his eyes at the voice, Grey Matter knew the Reaper is coming, so, using his quick-thinking brain, he climbs out of the cannon window, using his sticky fingers, and up to the railing, spotting the Reaper moving down below deck. He then notices the crow's nest up top and quickly climbs up the pole as fast as his small size can. He barely made up as the Reaper moves back onto the deck, looking around at it scratches its chin.
As Grey Matter took some breaths, he spoke to himself. "Great! How am I supposed to stop this thing? I'm a thinker, not a fighter! Think... Think..." As he pokes his head out for something, he looks around the room, but as he gazes at the exabits, he gets an idea as he smiles out. "That can work." So, he quickly got to work, leaping onto exhibits and sneaking his way around as he messes with them, fiddling with somethings and tying strings to some objects. He then gives a look over from the ship and smiles out. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP "The Omnitrix is timing out! No, wait! That can work." Grey Matter grins out as he changes back to being Dan. "Okay... Here goes something."
He looks around and spot the Reaper, looking around a display case. "HEY!" The monster looks up at the 10-year-old as he cries out. "Bet you can't catch me, Bonehead!" Dan sticks his tongue out in a taunting manner and leaps off the ship, making the Reaper snarls out he preps his scythe. "Big mistake child!" And so, it gave chase at the kid, making them both run around the Museum room as one tries to outrun another. After a bit of chasing, Dan finds himself corned as he glances back at the Grim Reaper. "End of the line, kid." "Maybe. Maybe not!" As the Reaper raised his scythe, Dan waited until the last second and rolls out of the way, making the blade cut a piece of rope instead.
As Dan smirks at the monster, the Reaper is confused as he watches the following chain reaction around the room that Grey Matter set up. And before the Reaper knows it, a suit of armor swung its mace and smacks its head off, sending it near the Pirate Ship. "Ow! is that the best you can do, child?! My body will just reattach my head!" "Hmm... Good point. Which Is why I thought of this!" He grins out as rushed to the other side of the pirate ship, just as the chain reaction destroyed some of the stands holding the ship in place, causing it to lean as Dan gives it one final push. "TIMBER!" "Oh, poop." CRASH
As the cloud and dust settled, the rest of the Reaper's body turns into dust and fades away as Dan dusts his hands off. "Well, what do you know? Grey Matter actually came through in the end." Dan smiles out as he learned that his smallest form can do big things in the end. "Now then, let's see about the others..." Finding a key in the remains of the Reaper, Dan used to unlock the wall to free the teen boys, who thanked him as they all untie the rest. "Thanks, kid! If you hadn't come along, I was sure we were going to be that bonehead's buffet." The previously chair tied teen smiles as he holds the pink haired girl next to him. "No problem! Now, let's get out of here." They all look to see the door out opens up. "And I think that's our cue."
Appearing back in the Upper Corridors, the large group heads towards the door that leads back to the Grand Hallway, only to find it boarded up. "Now how are going to get out, Cooper?" "I'm thinking, Amber." Cooper replies as he ponders out, only for a green flash to grab their attention as they look to see Cannonbolt. "You all might want to steer clear!" He booms out as they quickly got out of the way as he rolls up and spins in place, building up power and shot forward as he crashed through the doors, opening them up as he slides to a stop. "Bingo!" He smirks out.
As the group of teens ran out a girl with a flower in her hair points at the large open doors that leads out of the house. "The Exit's open! We can get out!" They all quickly run as Cooper stops and glances back at Cannonbolt. "Kid! Are you coming?" "No! I got something to take care of here 1st. Besides, my friends are still trapped here. But don't worry, i can take care of myself!" He smiles out as Cooper look at him for a few secs and nods out. "Okay... Thanks for helping us out. We really appreciated it. "They all wave goodbye as the alien waves back as they all run out the door, heading towards freedom. "Well, glad they managed to get out. ASnd figured out what happend to thouse missing teens on the news. But I still wonder where is Twilight?" Cannonbolt ponders out.
Back with Aaron, he has fought his way with Wildfire, Undertow, Rage, Crystal Claw, Quad Fist, Thornblade and Dark Matter through the Laundry, Servants' Dormitory and Bathroom. He was able to pummel and pounded Skeletons, Zombies, Imps, Ninja Imps, Flying Imps, Spiders, Zombie Pirates, Mummies, Warlocks and Haunted Coats. He also took on 2 new Ghoulies: One is a green skin Frankenstein/fish monster that was as strong as Crystal Claw, but not as strong as Quad Fist, as demonstrated by knocking it out with a double gut punch and a right hook to its ugly mug. Another is a plant creature that hides in pots and springs up when he is close. They tried to bite and spit goo at the teenager, but Rage was able to cut them down to size.
The boy entered into the Attic and heads up the stairs, seeing a bunch of things blocking his way to the other side. "Guess the exit is all the way on the other side." He gazes around the place and notices that the room is very spacious, and the beams were spread out apart. "Perfect chance to spread my wings!" FLASH
Orange gunk spreads all over the boy as a red and gold cocoon covered him. Red wings burst out, along with legs, arms and lastly, a head, revealing Skunkbug as he hovers. "Here comes the bug patrol!"
Skunkbug starts flying above the junk and through the openings. "Almost there…." But just then, a swarm of Flying Imps came out of the shadows, giggling as they rushed at the alien. "Looks like it's time for air-to-air combat!" He starts spraying gunk of orange slime at them, taking down some with their smell and stickiness as he flew around with the monsters following him. He lands on a support beam and hides from the Imps as stopped and looks around in confusion, unaware of Skunkbug is right above them. "SURPRISE!" He drops kicks them hard as he uses his second mouth to spray another group. He lastly sprayed out a gas cloud from his hands, engulfing the Ghoulies in it as they cough and plugs their noses from the smell, giving the alien a chance to take them down with his arms, legs and tackling. He finishes up and heads towards the door, changing back as he walks through it.
He ends up back at the Lobby and looks around, spotting the previously boarded up large door has been smashed open as he wonders what happened, only to spot Dan got out of the Kitchen door, talking to himself. "Well, at least I know what was behind that door that was boarded up! A bakery." "Tennyson! So, did you get your riddle?" The boy looks up and rolls his eyes as he takes out his paper. "Obviously! You?" "Please! It was a cakewalk!" They both noticed the door on the staircases is opened, making them both nod as they met up at it. "Ready, kid?" "Ready as Pinkie is wacky!"
The 2 alien shifters steps into the Experiments' Chamber, making them gaze around at some hi-tech equipment and computers with a ray gun device on the ceiling, pointing at a table. Suddenly, Dan felt something on his shoe, making him gaze down at a puddle of green liquid. "BLAGH! What is this stuff?" Aaron glances at the kid and saw something on the wall. "That." The 10-year-old glances up to see the same green stuff on the walls with limbs of Ghoulies sticking out of them. "Ghouly guts? I don't weather to be impressed that they can make some really cool Halloween decorations! Or be totally grossed out!" "Why not both?" Dan thought about it and shrugs, deciding to roll with it, after scarping his shoe off.
The boys' heads towards the door, only for it to slammed into Challenge Mode, showing a 'Destroy all' Icon. "Guess Animo isn't making our infiltration easier." "Obviously, kid! Better double back." Both did that as somethings was deployed through the tubes on the ceiling. 3 Zombies, and Franken-fish were deployed as well as 3 snarling Werewolves. "Werewolves? Dr. Freak-amo is really going all out to keep us away." Dan adds in as they both dials their devices. "Your pick Aaron. The green freaks or the hairy uglies?" FLASH
Crystal Claw grins as he makes shields "Time to discipline these mutts!" "WHAT?!" He glances at Upgrade. "Upgrade?! Why can't I get Shock Rock now?!" The alien kept using his elastic and puddle form to dodge the monsters while Crystal Claw fought off the werewolves. "Tennyson! You're in a lab! Use the doctor's tech against him!" Crystal Claw cries as he kicks a beast away while smack one with a blade and starts firing crystals. "Oh, right!" Upgrade gazes around, seeing the ray gun and decides to go with it, merging and upgrading it.
As Crystal Claws corrals all of the creatures, Upgrade aim at them. "Don't know what this does, but better hope it can help us!" Upgrade then fire a bright green energy ray that blasts the Ghoulies, making a flash of light that blinds both aliens, just as it dies down. They were both stunned to see nothing but puddles of goo where the monsters were. "Whoa! I didn't see that coming!" Upgrade said as he separates and glances over. "That ray must be how Animo makes Ghoulies! Since you try to reverse the effect, you must have reverted them back to piles of goo, which is probably their forms before they became the monsters." Crystal Claw theories as Upgrade spoke out. "Uhhh…. Yeah! Exactly what I planned and was thinking!" They noticed the door open as Crystal Claw wordlessly left, making Upgrade catch up. "Hey! Wait up! Is this about what I said?"
Both boys, having to time out as they both hang back for a few mins to let their watches recharged, poke their heads around large fronting test tubs containing an unknown yellow liquid. As they both crept into the large, circular laboratory, noticing all the cages, science equipment and creepy effects and tools that looks like it was out of a horror movie. "Keep your eye out for the riddle, Tennyson, it's around here somewhere. Although, I might get it first." The teen spoke with a grin and crossed arms as Dan got annoyed. "Yeah! Well, maybe I'll find it first!"
"HAHAHAHA!" Both kids glanced in surprised at seeing a elevator lift being lowered from the ceiling as Dr. Animo himself smirks at the boys. "Animo!" "Well, it isn't that snot-noised brat who threw me in jail, Dan Tennyson! And look, he brought his silly little, Copycat friend." "Copycat!? I'm nobody's cat, dude! And this cat's got claws!" "What?" Dan questioned as Aaron sighs out. "Look, it's been a long night, okay?!" "Right…. Anyway, we're here for the Riddle piece, Dr. Animo! But we also came to put a stop to your twisted Experiments!" Dan frowns out with his fist raised.
"Please! This is only the beginning! I never dreamed of mixing Magic from another dimension with the DNA of real live Monsters. But I managed to achieve the impossible, proving that my genius is not bounded by even reality itself!" Dr. Animo rants on as his Ghoulies crowed around him, coming out of the cages that they opened up by remote. Aaron got to dialing as the madman kept rambling on and on, making the Teen scoffs out. "Man, this freakshow sure talks a lot." "Tell me about it." The hero kid adds out with crossed arms and raised eyebrow.
"I mean look at these great beings! Have your silly, inferior friend, Twilight Sparkle, ever came close to—" Dr. Animo was suddenly surprised when a chunk of red crystal engulfed his right forearm, making him glance at Dark Matter and Shock Rock. "I'm going to shut this Dorken-stein up!" "Remember, Aaron! We still need that last piece. So, don't go overboard." "Yeah, I get it, Tennyson." A Mummy was able to break the crystal off as the mad scientist growls. "Attack, my minions!"
It was an all-out rumble in the lab as everyone traded blows, punches, kicks, bites, blasts, crystal weapons and gunk while moving all over the place. Shock Rock lassoed some skeletons and Zombies into some Flying Imps, only to get tackled by a bunch of Spiders. He sent out off a shockwave as he smashed more Ghoulies away with an energy bat. Some Flying Imps were tail diving at him, only to get stuck to the walls by Dark Matter as he approaches while removing a piece of paper from where he crashed. "You know, I've been saving your tail more times in one night, Tennyson. Maybe you should consider retiring." "I don't need your help, Aaron!" Shock Rock sass back as he knocks the paper away.
They then charged at Animo, only for a swarm of Flying Imps to grabs them by their shoulders, using their combined strength to lift them and drop them as some Mummies got out some golden Egyptian staffs and knocks them away like Baseball players, just as a few Zombie Pirates tossed some Treasure Chests at them, sending them crashing against a wall and stumbling on their fronts. "Hey, Aaron? Is it my imagination, or are these Ghoulies are a lot smarter than before?" They noticed some Fire Imps grinning as they built up fire in their mouths, making the 2 look in dread. "That's a big eeyup." FWWWOOOMM "GGAAAAHHHH!"
Animo laughs at their misfortune as they kept fending off the Ghoulies. "We need to find a way to stop these Ghoulies from coming and to break Animo's control on them!" Shock Rock exclaims as he stretches his arms to grab a couple of carts and electrified them, throwing at a couple of Zombies as Dark Matter made a wall and counters. "How are we going to do that?!" "Wait for it!" "You can't win, children! With these Magic/Monster Generator, making more of my fiendish servants and energizing them, together we will show the world my brilliance! The Earth will soon respect the Might of Dr. Animo! HAHAHAHA!" The mad man laughs loudly as he felt his victory is insured.
Suddenly, every monster and the 2 aliens froze on what they're doing and turns back at Animo in surprise. "Wait! So, you're saying that if we destroy that generator that's next to you, the Ghoulies will stop coming and they won't attack us anymore?" "Correct! I can't make anymore, and they will shut down like robots and be still as statues." Both aliens blinks in silence as they gazed at each other while every Ghouly facepalms at the same time at their creator's stupidity. "Wait! No…." Shock Rock and Dark Matter shares smirks. "DANG IT! I monologue! Curse you Tennyson!"
Shock Rock sets off a huge forcefield, blowing all the monster away as Dark Matter cover him by crystallizing some of them. Shock Rock then punches himself upward, flying high as used his bat to knock away the Flying Imps and dives down at the generator, forming a huge battle axe, slicing downward as he quickly leaps away. The machine then sports a large, downward line as energy courses through it as Animo gazes in dread. "No! Not like before!" Just then…... BOOOOOOOM The explosion sent Animo flying high, crashing through the glass roof and outside the gates. "I HATE YOU, DAN TENNYSONNNNNNNNNNNN!" Animo screams through the night.
Just then, all the Ghoulies eye's went limb as they lost all power, making them fall down and lay in defeat. Shock Rock dust his hands off as Dark Matter approaches. "Okay, I admit. For a dweeb. That was somewhat cool." "I'll take it! Besides, at least we won't have any more of these movie monster rejects bothering us now that there shut down!" Dark Matter then notices something in the rubble, moving some things apart to fine the 3rd piece. "Check it out! Dr. Whack-o dropped his piece on his way out! Now we can enter the master's room." "Let's go! I want to give the owner a piece of my mind." Shock Rock said as they both headed out.
Later, Dan and Aaron were in front of a small hallway that led to a door covered in purple vines, above the large Exit/Entrance to the mansion. "This door is the only one that has purple vines. So, it must be where the riddle works." "Well, he goes something." Dan unfolded the taped together paper as he clears his throat. "In my room, I hide a great surprise! But the secret is for nobody's eyes." The Door begins beating against its frame, as if something on the other end is protesting to get out.
As the purple vines retreat from their spot on the outside of the door, Aaron notices it. "Keep it up! It's working." "In my chamber, holds keys to my past! The power that made my life long last." As Dan ponder at this part, the thick black smoke begins seeping out from underneath the door and around its frame before a great crack of lighting is heard from beyond. "And one day, I will be free from my cursed dome. To return to the realm I once called home! There, my destiny will ring! Once I have achieved of becoming king!"
And then, the Door continues to slam against its frame reaching a climax that seems to shake Ghoulhaven Hall itself. The thick smoke continues to pour out in heavier dollops as the knocking continues to add strain to the hinges! As the action accelerates, a glowing purple outline begins to encircle the edges of the door, filling the area with a brilliant aura of blinding light. Squinting to see the outcome, the boys' watches as the door comes close to opening several times before a deafening wallop fills the air, silencing any other sounds in its wake. After using the rhyme like a shield, they peeked as the smoke clears from the area and the Door is left ajar, showing little sign of the struggle seen seconds prior.
Dan and Aaron smiles in victory as they approached, both steeling themselves. "Ready for this?" "I was born ready, kid!" They both entered inside, ready to face the mysterious 'Master' of the Monster-infested Mansion.
