Just Want A Jacket
Gwen and Kevin were both walking around Bellwood.
" What's with everyone wearing a green jacket?" Kevin asked
" New fashion trend started by Ben" Gwen replied
Gwen and Kevin stopped when the two of them spotted a familiar silver haired sorceress among the crowd.
Charmcaster was looking to buy herself the latest trending fashion item, she even did some honest work for once to get the money needed to buy the green jacket.
" Charmcaster!" someone yelled but Charmcaster knew all too well who that voice belonged to.
" Well if it isn't Gwen Tennyson, listen I'm not here to cause any trouble, I just want to get something and be on my way" said Charmcaster
" Likely story" Gwen responded
Gwen fired a mana energy beam which Charmcaster flew up to dodge, Charmcaster started chanting a spell but before she could finish it Gwen fired another more powerful mana energy beam which hit Charmcaster causing her to be pushed far away.
" Nice shot" Kevin said
" Thanks" Gwen replied
Ben Tennyson was currently at Mr Smoothies, he looked up just in time to see a pink beam land nearby.
" Guess it's hero time" Ben said as he activated the Omnitrix and selected Big Chill. Ben flew to the area where the pink beam landed and saw Charmcaster getting up from the ground, just when he was about to advance he heard Charmcaster yell.
" I can't even do something normal like buy a jacket without getting attacked by Gwen !"
Ben stopped, " Gwen just attacked Charmcaster for that ?" Ben thought, Ben suddenly had an idea and flew to the nearest mall.
Ben flew back with a parcel in his hand and saw to his luck that Charmcaster was still in the same place except this time hitting the ground repeatedly.
"Charmcaster, is that you, are you alright?" Ben asked with concern
Charmcaster looked up from the ground in anger at Ben, her fists glowed with mana.
" No, I'm not alright, I had to deal with Gwen now I got to deal with you" snapped Charmcaster
" Charmcaster I'm not here to fight you, I just came to give you a gift" Ben replied calmly
Ben moved forward slowly with the parcel in his hands toward Charmcaster, Charmcasters fists stop glowing mana and her angry expression turned to a confused one.
" You got this for me why ?" Charmcaster questioned
" I saw that you were having a bad day" Ben responded
When Charmcaster heard that she gave a genuine smile to Ben.
" Thank you Ben" she said
As she unwrapped the parcel she saw it was the green jacket she wanted to get.
" Ben you didn't have to, if you want I can pay you back for it and don't worry I didn't steal the money" Charmcaster stated
" Charmcaster it's a gift from me to you, it's not a big deal" Ben said
The next thing that happened caught Ben completely by suprise, Charmcaster hugged him.
" I guess this is the part where we go our separate ways, unless you want to hang out for the rest of the day?" Ben asked as he hugged Charmcaster back.
" What do you have in mind ?" Charmcaster questioned
" I was thinking of heading to the Burger Shack and from there heading to a lake for a swim" Ben said
" I will gladly join you for that Mr Tennyson" Charmcaster responded
" Just give a few minutes for the watch to recharge then I can fly us there" Ben said
" No need to, I can teleport us there" Charmcaster replied
Charmcaster held out her hand and Ben took hold of it, both of them smiled at each other as they went to enjoy the remainder of the day together.
