~At My House~

The time was now 8:00 at night, and Sioku still didn't show up.

Kara sat on the couch watching Tv.

Deku and Tsu lay asleep beside her.

She anxiously turned away from the Tv to look out a window behind her.

The sky was completely dark.

Instead of being angry, Kara became terrified of losing her youngest sister.

"Melody! Come down here," she called.

"I'm coming," Melody called back.

The dogs woke up and lifted their heads.

"Lay down," Kara ordered.

They shook off in response.

Melody swung open the door to her bedroom before racing down the stairs.

Jersey followed after her.

Deku and Tsu excitedly climbed off of the couch and ran toward her.

They panted and whipped her with their tails.

Tsu growled as she playfully nipped at Jersey.

Jersey circled around Tsu while barking.

"Oh settle down!" yelled Kara.

"Come on dogs," urged Melody as she led them back into the living room.

"What's the matter Kara?" asked Melody as she approached her sister.

"Sioku is still not here," Kara answered sadly.

"This is odd," Melody pointed out.

Kara frantically picked up her cell phone and dialed the pro hero Endeavor's number.

Melody curiously stared at Kara's phone. "Hold on, why are you calling Endeavor?"

"He's my good friend," Kara answered.

Melody remained silent at that and stared down at the three dogs in front of her.

The phone rang three times before Endeavor picked up.

His voice came out slightly annoyed. "What is it?"

"Endeavor, this is an emergency! My little sister Sioku has been missing since 5:00 this evening," Kara replied anxiously.

The line went silent for a minute.

Endeavor cleared his throat before he spoke again. "Kara, I need you to remain calm. I'll be over at your house shortly."

"I'll see you then," Kara replied before hanging up.

Kara sighed and slipped the phone into her pocket.

"What's going on?" asked Melody as she perked up.

"Endeavor is coming over," Kara answered.

Melody nodded before turning away.

Kara's phone rang in her pocket, causing her to instantly remove the object.

Ariel's name popped up on the screen.

She raised the phone to her ear. "Hi Ariel, what's up?"

"Hey Kara, I have some news from Shinso. Shinso told me that Sioku left his house at 5:00 and was taking the train home," she answered.

"Thanks Ariel, did you hear anything else from him?" asked Kara in anticipation.

"Shinso hasn't heard from her since then," Ariel answered in disappointment.

"I appreciate your help Ariel," replied Kara in relief.

"Any time," said Ariel before hanging up the phone.

Melody stared at Kara with a hopeful expression. "What did Ariel say to you?"

"Sioku was last seen at Shinso's house," Kara answered.

"I had a feeling that Sioku would be there. She really likes him," Melody replied with a playful grin.

"There's no time for jokes," Kara shouted sternly.

Melody sighed and turned away.

The girls didn't say another word as they watched Tv.

~In The Experiment Room~

I continued to sleep on the table in the dark.

My body was still secured to it by heavy straps.

The door suddenly opened, letting in a bright light.

The intense brightness caused me to wake up.

I began to shift under my restraints.

"She's in here," said a familiar voice.

My body tensed up a little at that.

I opened my eyes to find Chisaki entering the room with three other men following behind him.

Chisaki gladly led his followers toward the table.

The sound of their footsteps made me feel uneasy.

"Hello pet," he greeted with an evil grin.

"Chisaki, how many times do I have to tell you? I am not your pet," I snapped back.

The three men looked at me and laughed.

I paid no attention to them.

"This girl is stubborn," one of them commented.

The two other followers nodded their heads in agreement with that statement.

"That's why I like her," replied Chisaki with a smile.

I gave the man a disgusted look.

One of the men smiled as he opened a metal drawer and pulled out two long, heavy tubes. "Well it's high time we did something about it."

"We should paralyze her first," replied Chisaki.

I whimpered internally at that, not knowing how they were going to do it.

The man then waved them around in my face.

A shaky breath caught in my throat as I gasped.

"That's right little girl, we know your deepest, darkest fears. You'll never escape," taunted the last man.

His terrifying words sent chills up my spine.

A million thoughts raced through my mind all at once.

I didn't respond in order to not entertain that man any further.

My body started to tremble violently.

Thinking about my family and friends was no longer an option to calm myself down.

I was completely trapped.

Chisaki and his men surrounded me, causing my heart to pound rapidly in my chest.

I had no idea what type of cruel punishments were in store for me.

That same man creepily approached me and layed the tubes over my chest.

I immediately closed my eyes to keep from looking at them for too long.

The shaking in my body intensified as I felt the tubes slide across me whenever they moved.

I heard the sound of something rolling toward my right side on wheels.

"This can't be good," I thought.

"Let's get started with these experiments as soon as we can. We have a lot to do," ordered Chisaki.

One man nodded as he attached the other ends of those tubes to a large, square-shaped machine.

Another man inserted the other ends into my nose.

My body twitched uncontrollably under the straps.

"I would stay still if I were you Sioku," the third man taunted as he flipped a lever.

I jolted as I felt a rush of air pass through my nose.

As I breathed in, I could feel my muscles growing weak.

My whole body felt as if somebody was purposely holding me down with all of their weight.

It seemed like my restraints were now doubled.

I tried to move but to no avail.

This situation was only getting worse for me.

"Dabi!!! All for One!!! Tomura!!! Please come and save me from Kai Chisaki!!!" I screamed internally.

~In All for One's Room~

All for One sat quietly at his desk, staring at a computer monitor in front of him.

Tomura paced back and forth near his master's chair.

"Master, have you heard anything about Sioku yet?" he asked impatiently.

"Not a word," All for One answered.

Tomura scratched his neck roughly and sighed.

He was afraid of losing one of his best friends.

His emotions exploded like a bomb.

"That's it Master, I'm going to join the search now! I want to go help her!" he hollered in despair.

All for One looked at him and took a deep breath. "Okay, I won't stop you. Tomura, please be safe out there."

"Will do Master," Tomura whispered back.

Tomura began making his way toward the door when he suddenly heard a familiar voice in his head.

"Tomura!!!" the feemale called out.

The blue haired man gasped in surprise as he stood still in his spot.

His face saddened as he breathed heavily.

Tears streamed down his cheeks.

"What's wrong Tomura?" asked All for One.

"I heard Sioku calling my name. She also told me to save her from Kai Chisaki," Tomura answered brokenly.

All for One paused and thought to himself.

"Kai Chisaki might be the name of that villain who captured Sioku," he said softly.

All for One's prediction caused Tomura to snap instantly.

His sadness had now turned into pure rage.

Sweat dripped down Tomura's face as he shook violently.

"If this Kai Chisaki person is the one who's keeping Sioku captive, I'll show no mercy and disintegrate him!" he yelled furiously.

All for One calmly approached Tomura and gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

He could feel Tomura's body shaking like a leaf under his hand.

"Calm down Tomura," he said soothingly.

Tomura slowly sank into his master's touch without another word.

"I'm sorry Master," he softly replied.

All for One then wrapped his arms around Tomura and held him tight.

All for One's warm embrace calmed Tomura down enough for him to breathe easier.

He cleared his throat and whispered. "Tomura, please listen to me. I understand that you're distressed. I also heard Sioku calling my name."

Tomura's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, you too?"

"Yes, but let me give you some advice. The voice inside your head will lead you right to Sioku's location. Meet up with Magne and Dabi first," All for One answered.

"Thank you Master, those two probably heard Sioku's voice as well. They might know where Kai Chisaki is keeping her," Tomura said with a hopeful expression.

"That's the spirit," replied All for One.

Tomura smiled at All for One before walking out the door.

Once outside the building, Tomura began his own search through the dark alleyways.

The night was still dark as ever.

He carefully checked behind every brick wall and each space between them.

Unfortunately, there was no sign of her.

After much searching, he decided to enter the city.

The street lamps provided enough light to help Tomura see where he was going.

However, his mind was set on rescuing Sioku.

He tried to brush off the sadness by focusing on his mission to set her free.

"Please hang in there Sioku," he thought.

~In Town~

Dabi and Magne were walking around an empty park.

They needed a short break from their search.

The only source of light they had came from their phones.

"Magne, I'm very worried about Sioku. Have you found any leads yet?" asked Dabi anxiously.

He held Sioku's bag close to his side.

It was the only thing he had left to remember her by.

"Unfortunately no," Magne answered with a sigh.

Dabi lowered his head in disappointment.

Tears of sadness welled up in his eyes.

"Don't worry Dabi, we'll find Sioku. She shouldn't be far away from us. I promise," Magne reassured.

Dabi sighed and wiped his tears away.

Dabi and Magne silently continued making their way through the park.

Sioku's voice echoed in Dabi's head again. "Dabi!!! Please save me from Kai Chisaki!!!"

Dabi paused and turned to Magne with a horrified expression. "Did you hear that?"

Magne looked at him confused. "No, I didn't hear anything. What's wrong Dabi?"

"Sioku spoke to me a second time. She needs us to save her from Kai Chisaki. Her voice sounded desperate," Dabi answered, his face red with worry.

Magne comfortingly put her arm around him. "Dabi, I understand how much Sioku means to you. I will do everything in my power to help you rescue her."

Dabi took a deep breath and nodded.

Once Magne released him, she and Dabi exited the park on a different side of town.

They reached a gate on the opposite side.

Dabi turned to Magne wearing a hopeful expression as they proceeded. "Hey Magney, you said that Sioku was using telepathy earlier, right?"

"That's correct," she answered.

Dabi nodded before turning away.

He then took a deep breath and thought to himself. "Please hold on a little while longer Sioku. I will be with you as soon as I can."

They stayed silent while walking a few blocks down a huge street.

Magne curiously pointed to a parking lot containing many cars that were painted different colors.

She tapped on Dabi's shoulder to get his attention.

Dabi looked at her as he was immediately snapped out of his train of deep thought. "What is it?"

"We should start by looking for that red car with blue stripes," she suggested.

Dabi stared at Magne dumbfounded. "Why should we look here? Do you really think a villain would set up his hideout in plain sight?"

"Hold on Dabi, we have never met or heard of this Kai Chisaki person before. There is no way to know what he would do," Magne countered.

Dabi shook his head and sighed roughly.

"Let's just search the area," he said quietly.

Magne gave Dabi a sympathetic look before entering one side of the parking lot.

Dabi searched the other side by himself.

Ten minutes later, the two met up at the entrance to a large warehouse.

Magne scanned the door with interest. "What do you think Dabi? Should we go inside?"

A faint sound of footsteps could be heard in the distance.

"Hold on a second," Dabi said suddenly.

Magne paused and continued staring at the door.

As the footsteps came closer, Dabi turned around to find Tomura walking toward them.

"It's just Tomura," Dabi whispered.

Magne let out a sigh of relief.

Tomura stopped in front of his comrades and glared at them. "Master told me to meet up with you two. Have you found anything useful?"

"Yes Shigaraki, but I'll only reveal the news if you quit acting like a child. We don't appreciate your demands," Dabi answered with a glare in return.

Tomura growled in frustration and rased his hands up to Dabi's neck. "Oh shut your trap Patchwork! I've known Sioku way longer than you have!"

Dabi was nowhere near intimidated.

His palms instantly lit up with blue flames.

"I will set you on fire if you ever call me that name again," Dabi threatened.

"Go ahead, I'm not afraid of you or your quirk! I'll never be," Tomura challenged.

"Bring it on," Dabi replied.

They then charged at each other with intent.

Magne furiously stepped in between the two men.

Pure rage spread across her features.

"That is enough! Your childish fighting isn't going to help us find Sioku! She is probably getting tortured by Chisaki as we speak," she shouted angrily.

The tension between them faded almost instantly.

Dabi and Tomura stared at Magne with stunned expressions on their faces.

Both Magne's expression and the tone of her voice softened once she had calmed down. "I understand that you two want to hurry up and rescue Sioku. We will find her soon, I assure you. Please, put your differences aside for her."

The men nodded their heads in response.

"Don't forget Magne, you made a horrible first impression in front of her. She's probably still upset with you," Tomura taunted.

Magne glared daggers at Tomura. "Excuse me, do I really have to be reminded? I know what I did was wrong! I will make it up to her!"

"Magne was the first person to help me start searching for Sioku. She truly regrets her behavior toward our friend," Dabi added calmly.

"Thank you for that Dabi," replied Magne as she lightly patted his shoulder.

"No problem," Dabi whispered back.

Tomura shook his head and sighed roughly.

"Let's move on with the mission," he grumbled.

"Wait," Magne said suddenly.

Tomura gave her a dirty look.

"What's the matter?" asked Dabi.

"I have important news for you. The red car that was displayed on the news earlier is nearby," she answered.

"That's a huge relief," replied Tomura.

Dabi's eyes widened as he gripped Sioku's bag tightly.

"Chisaki will pay for hurting her," he whispered.

Dabi then looked at Tomura who was staring down at i

Sioku's bag. "I have a question for you."

"Yeah, what is it?" Tomura snapped back.

"Have you been getting telepathic messages from Sioku since she disappeared?" he asked calmly.

"Yeah, why?" Tomura countered in annoyance.

"She spoke to us as well," interrupted Magne.

"That's most likely how we figured out the name of her captor," Dabi added.

"Let's go destroy him," commanded Tomura.

Dabi and Magne gave him a thumbs up in approval.

Magne stood in front of the door and pushed it open.

She then led her two comrades inside.

Alarms rang throughout the entire lobby as they walked around the room.

The three were soon ambushed and surrounded by an alerted group of unfamiliar people.

"We're here guys! Let's split up and take these weaklings out," ordered Magne.

Tomura and Dabi bolted to separate areas.

Magne quickly activated her quirk as a few men came barreling toward her.

She easily fended those people off by shooting at them.

Tomura frightened more people away by destroying many objects around him.

Dabi blasted a giant hole in the wall in front of him with a massive fire ball.

He then shot blue flames at the people surrounding him, causing them to escape through the hole.

Once the coast was finally clear, the three villains met up at an open doorway.

Magne, what is our next plan?" asked Tomura anxiously.

"Locate Sioku," she simply answered.

"Chisaki made a big mistake by kidnapping Sioku. I'll burn this whole place to the ground if I have to," Dabi added, his voice laced with hatred.

They then proceeded down a long hallway.

Magne stopped to check their surroundings.

Fortunately, the hallway was empty.

"What are we waiting for?" replied Dabi impatiently.

"Nothing, let's go," she whispered.

Dabi's emotions motivated him to rush ahead, causing the others to run after him.

"I'm coming for you Sioku!!!" Dabi screamed, his voice echoing throughout the space.

"Settle down!" Magne called after him.

Tomura and Magne desperately chased him through a series of hallways.

Dabi panted heavily as he kept running.

"Sioku! Sioku! Can you hear me? Please respond," he thought fearfully.

~Back in The Experiment room~

I continued to lie paralyzed on the table with a tube in each side of my nose.

My entire body felt heavy as can be.

Chisaki and his three assistants were still surrounding and taunting me about All for One.

I could barely respond to what they were saying.

One of the men grinned at Chisaki as he quickly walked away from the table.

Chisaki gave him a thumbs up in response.

The man returned carrying another machine.

He then secured it to the table's left side.

Two skinny tubes hung down from the bottom of it.

Chisaki gleefully attached them to my chest.

My eyes grew wide with horror at the sight.

I was living in my worst nightmare.

Another man powered up the machine, producing a loud, repetitive beeping sound.

Both my breathing and heart rate increased to the point where I couldn't control them.

The three men noticed it and laughed triumphantly.

"We're torturing you in order to make All for One come out of his hiding place," started Chisaki.

I growled internally at that.

The beeping sound started getting into my head.

I fell into a violent seizure that lasted for over a minute.

Chisaki laughed wickedly as he watched me seize.

His followers laughed along with him.

He lowered himself down to my level with a menacing grin on his face. "Look at you poor little Sioku, you're weak and defenseless without All for One."

Just when I thought that all hope was lost, I heard Dabi calling out to me.

His voice over powered the beeping sounds.

To everyone's surprise, my heart rate and breathing gradually slowed down to a normal pace.

The pain in my body decreased as well.

Chisaki glared daggers at me. "What? How did your mind escape all of this torture?"

I turned my head away in response.

"That wasn't supposed to happen at all," complained one of the men.

I concentrated very hard on Dabi's aura and thought to myself. "Dabi, if you can hear me, come to the back of this building. I'm being held in a small room by Chisaki and three other men."

~Outside The Room~

Dabi slowed down as he heard another telepathic message from Sioku.

"Come to a small room in the very back."

He wiped a spot of sweat from his face.

"I'm on my way," he whispered breathlessly.

Before Dabi could take off again, Magne and Tomura rushed toward him.

Their faces were flushed from running tirelessly.

"What is wrong with you?" shouted Tomura.

"We're supposed to stick together," scolded Magne.

Dabi leaned against a wall and breathed deeply.

"I understand, but Sioku gave me directions to her room. Follow me to the back," he replied.

"Chisaki is probably in there," Tomura added.

Dabi's hands ignited with blue flames as he led his comrades toward the back.

"Chisaki!!!" he screamed with rage.

The three slowed down as they approached a wooden door.

"Is this her room?" whispered Magne.

Instead of answering Magne's question, Dabi fiercely pressed his flaming palms against the door which blew to pieces immediately.

Dabi decided to lay low until Chisaki was distracted.

He signaled for Tomura and Magne to proceed.

~Inside~

Tomura and Magne ferociously ambushed the three followers with their quirks.

The men panicked as they scattered in fear.

Chisaki turned his attention toward the commotion. "Intruders! How did you three get in here?"

"That's none of your business," Magne snapped back.

I gasped in amazement at the sound of her voice.

"Yes Sioku, it's me," she said softly.

I stared at her as a distraction from the beeping.

"Who are you?" Chisaki demanded.

"Just friends of Sioku's," she answered casually.

Magney shot at Chisaki to distract him.

A bullet hit Chisaki in the leg, making him fall to the ground with a thud.

She then aimed a bullet at his side.

Chisaki groaned in pain and grabbed the wound.

Magne smiled as she walked over to the table.

She gently placed her hands on my shoulders. "Hey Sioku, I'm here now. We're going to set you free."

I sank into Magne's touch and smiled at her.

She lowered herself down to my level before leaning over me. "Sioku, I'm still really sorry for yelling at you earlier. I won't leave your side."

I tried to respond but to no avail.

My muscles were way too weak.

Magne lovingly wrapped her arms around me.

Her voice and presence brought a feeling of security to me that I've missed for hours.

With Chisaki out of the way, Dabi slowly crept into the room without being noticed.

He then unleashed a massive awall of flames, burning two of Chisaki's followers into submission.

They screamed in pain and bolted out of sight.

I gasped in awe at the sight of Dabi's fire.

"Have you seen him use his quirk before Sioku?" asked Magne in amusement.

I shook my head in response.

Even though Dabi was being silent, I could tell that he was trying to distract me as well.

Dabi cautiously made his way toward the table, causing me to perk up instantly.

My smile grew wide at the sight of him standing by my side, giving me an overwhelming feeling of happiness.

Dabi touched my forehead and smiled back.

I suddenly found the strength to try moving again.

"Wo, settle down Sioku. You'll be with him soon," Magne said softly.

Tomura glared as he cornered one of the frightened men near my right side.

He accidentally bumped that same lever on the paralyzing machine, turning it off in the process.

I started to feel instant relief as soon as my body was free from paralysis.

Tomura grinned as he disintegrated the restraints on my arms and legs.

My face lit up with joy as I watched his quirk in action.

Just seeing him again made me very happy.

I reached up and gently pulled the tubes out of my nose and off of my chest.

"Sweet freedom," I whispered.

Tomura chuckled at that in response.

"Are you all right Sioku?" asked Magne.

Pointing to the smaller machine beside me, I signaled for Tomura to destroy it.

The incessant beeping had finally came to a halt as soon as he did so.

That machine turned into a pile of dust.

"Now I am," I replied before laughing.

I carefully sat up with Magne supporting me from behind using her arm.

"You're okay Sioku," she assured.

"Take her out of here," Tomura whispered.

I laid my head on Magne's chest.

Her warmth felt similar to All for One.

Magne nodded before lifting me off of the table.

She then carried me out of the room.

In the hallway, Magne noticed my weakened state and gasped worriedly. "Sioku, you don't look so good. I need to get you to a doctor."

I groaned wearily in response.

"You'll be okay Sioku," she assured.

The last man recklessly jumped out of Tomura's way and bolted across the room.

Dabi chased him out with a jet of flames.

He then approached the injured Chisaki who was still holding his bleeding wound on the ground.

Without a word, Dabi slammed his hand down on Chisaki's chest, blistering the man's skin.

He and Tomura then exited the room, leaving Chisaki to stay behind.

They met up with me in the hall.

"How is she doing?" asked Dabi.

"Not so good," Magne answered sadly.

"I hate those jerks! They really did a number on her," Tomura fumed.

Dabi cautiously approached Magne with his arms out. "Please let me take her."

Magne nodded and let Dabi gently lift me into his arms.

"Hey Sioku, I'm right here. You can relax now," Dabi said soothingly as he embraced me.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Tomura destroyed one of the walls with his quirk, creating an opening for us to escape.

~Time Skip~

Magne, Tomura, and Dabi had just located the nearest hospital for me to stay at for a while.

I woke up as soon as we reached the entrance.

Dabi stared down at me and whispered. "Sioku, Tomura and I have to go let our master know that you're safe. Magne is going to take you in."

I hugged him tight before Magne took me into her arms.

"Please take good care of her. I trust you," Dabi whispered to Magne.

"We'll see you later Sioku," Tomura added.

Dabi then placed my bag over her shoulder.

Magne nodded before carrying me inside.

My smiled faded as I watched them walk away.

I was immediately taken to a room by a friendly nurse with Magne following behind her.

Magne gently laid me down on the bed.

She then held my hand to provide comfort.

"Don't worry Sioku, you're in a safe place now. I promise," she whispered.

"Hello mis, what is your name?" asked the nurse as she calmly approached me.

"Sioku Marie," I answered weakly.

First, the nurse checked my vital signs which were far from normal.

I flinched in fear whenever her medical equipment came in contact with my skin.

Magne gently squeezed my hand in reassurance.

The nurse then pointed at Magne. "Do you know what happened to her?"

"Sioku is the girl who was captured by that masked villain. His name is Kai Chisaki. My two friends and I found Sioku restrained by thick straps on a table. She also had a few tubes protruding from her nose and chest. We rescued her a few minutes ago," Magne explained.

"I'm so glad we found her. Sioku's family will be relieved to know that she is okay," the nurse replied happily.

The nurse typed all of the details in a report on her computer as Magne spoke.

"Do you have any idea what machines this person had Sioku hooked up to?" she asked Magne.

Magne pulled a small camera out of her jacket pocket. "No, but I got some pictures of them."

She handed her camera over to the nurse who uploaded those pictures into a file on her computer.

"Thank you very much for the information. You've been a big help," said the nurse as she handed the camera back to Magne.

"You're most welcome, I'm happy to assist you. This horrible man needs to be arrested as soon as possible," Magne replied in a serious tone.

The nurse then carefully examined my body. "The straps are exactly where these marks came from."

She paused and looked closely at the bandages on my arms. "Hold on, what happened here?"

I trembled slightly as a flashback entered my mind.

"Sioku, did Chisaki do something to you?" Magne asked with concern in her voice.

My face turned bright red with pure terror.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

I tried forcing them down but to no avail.

Magne pulled me close to her and stroked my hair.

I finally broke down and sobbed right in front of her.

Letting my emotions out felt right in this moment.

"It's okay Sioku, you can tell us anything. You're completely safe with us," she reassured.

I took a deep breath once I had calmed down.

"I'm so sorry Magne," I said sadly.

"Sioku, what are you apologizing for? None of this is your fault," she softly replied.

I wiped my eyes before continuing. "I was on my way to the train station when Chisaki stopped me. Chisaki said that he knew everything about me. I tried to run away from him, but he threatened to kill me on the spot. He also threatened to kill my family and friends if I didn't go with him. I passed out on the floor, and Chisaki carried me away. I woke up in a strange room with heavy straps pinning me to a wooden table. My situation got worse when Chisaki came back into the room. First, he checked my body for some odd reason. Then he put two needles in my arms. The needles were attached to long tubes and hooked up to a rectangular machine. Blood was extracted from my veins and dropped into two glass bottles."

"Sioku, did Chisaki ever tell you what his quirk is?" asked Magne curiously.

"No," I simply answered.

Once the nurse had finished typing, she turned around to face me. "Why were the other two machines hooked up to you?"

"Chisaki wanted to torture me," I answered fearfully.

"That's not going to happen anymore Sioku. You can count on it," replied Magne.

I hugged her tight in response.

The nurse pointed at Magne. "Do you know where Chisaki was last seen?"

"Chisaki was in a warehouse across the street from here. He should still be there," Magne answered.

Magne and I watched as the nurce prepared an IV with medication.

"I need to keep you here until your vital signs are stabilized. It could take a few days," she said.

I nervously tightened my hold on Magne.

"Don't worry Sioku, I'll stay here with you. You'll be all right," Magne reassured.

The nurse cautiously placed the Iv line into a vein on my left arm before hooking me up to a few monitors.

I let out a nervous yelp and started shivering once I heard the quiet beeping noises.

Magne whispered reassurances in my ear.

I relaxed in her warm embrace.

"I'll be back to check on you in a few hours," said the nurse before walking out.

She gently closed the door behind her.
