The Scoutix head to Tempesta in order to find the last Revian rune stones. After managing to get through to the eye of the storm, the specialists are attacked by Amicia. During the battle, Zane was protected by Rachel's Crystal Shield spell. Before the battle ended, Amicia destroyed the runes and faded away. However, Zane believes that they can still save Rachel before it's too late. Rangda has begun her ritual to combine the fairy essence and become more powerful. The Scoutix have until sunset to put an end to it. ~~~~

Magix City

Neva appeared in the city center and smirked. "Let's see if we can get the attention of those pathetic heroes."

Krista appeared by Neva and smiled. "This is going to be fun."

Neva laughed as she started setting off spells. "Explosion!"

"Lovely." Krista said. "My turn. Shadow Boomerangs!"

They laughed as they listened to the people scream and watched as they ran.

"They should be here any second now." Neva said.

Red Fountain

"We got trouble." Helia said.

Ulrik was staring out the window when he sensed the dark magic. "It's Neva and Krista."

"They are a distraction." Rafe said. "Rangda must have started her ritual."

Draegan scoffed a little, staring out the window. "Neva and Krista won't be a problem. We can take them down with ease."

"Here we go again." Ulrik said. "You underestimate them Draegan. Their magic is stronger than ours."

Draegan sighed and sulked a little. "Why do you have to do that every time?"

"We can't just stand here and do nothing." Sky said.

Rafe nodded and looked towards the window. "Let's get going then. Be careful. Neva and Krista are a deadly combination. And I should know."

"Are you sure about this Rafe?" Ulrik asked. "You're magic isn't even fully restored."

"I have enough to handle those two." Rafe said. With that, they all left for the city.

Magix City

"They are taking forever." Krista said.

Neva smirked as she saw the Red Fountain ship. "You don't have to wait any longer. Let's show these boys just what we can do."

"Neva. Krista." Ulrik said. "We're taking you down."

Krista laughed, focusing her attention on Ulrik. "If it isn't the traitors. You're fairy friends won't save you this time."

"You're outnumbered." Helia said.

Neva turned to Helia and smirked. "I expected more. Do you honestly believe that you can stop us? The Winx thought they could and look where it got them. The best part was crushing that flower girl."

Helia glared, keeping his gaze on Neva. "You're the one that attacked Flora."

"Helia." Rafe said. "Calm down. She's just trying to get inside your head."

Krista laughed, looking towards Ulrik and Draegan. "How pathetic could you be? You've allied yourselves with people who helped take down your precious Winx."

"We've made up for what we did Krista." Ulrik said, his hands starting to glow green.

Neva laughed, pulling Cassie out of the shadows. "You're not going to do anything Ulrik. Not as long as we have her."

"Ulrik." Cassie said, struggling to get free.

Ulrik growled a little as his hands returned to normal. "Let her go."

"You've gone too far witch." Rave said.

Neva smiled, turning to Rave. "You haven't seen anything yet Ravey boy. If you want this girl so bad, come and get her."

"We can't risk hitting Cassie." Ulrik said.

"What are we supposed to do?" Rafe asked. "If we attack, they'll hurt her."

"Shadow Boomerangs!"

Rafe cried out in pain and fell to the ground, holding his side. "We have to get Cassie away from them. Otherwise, they'll just pick us off one by one."

"We need a distraction." Draegan said.

"Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?" Rafe asked.

"Let me handle Neva." Ulrik said. "Everyone else, take care of Krista."

Rave pulled out his sais, keeping his eyes on Krista. "Be careful Ulrik. Let's see who can handle the shadows better Krista. You or me."

"This will be fun." Krista said. "I'm going to enjoy destroying you Rave. Shadow Bind!"

Rave quickly dodged the attack and readied one of his own. "You'll have to do better than that. Dark Tempest!"

"I'll leave Rave to you Krista." Neva said.

Ulrik watched Rave make the first move before focusing on Neva. "Hold on Cassie." 'Close your eyes.'

Cassie closed her eyes, waiting for Ulrik to finish his spell. 'I trust you Ulrik.'

"Terra Dust!"

Neva winced, trying to clear her eyes. "That's a cheap trick Ulrik."

While Neva was distracted, Cassie opened her eyes and ran over to the guys. "I knew you would save me Ulrik."

"Wait on the ship Cassie." Helia said. "It's the safest place for you right now."

Cassie nodded and ran on to the ship. "Good luck."

"You underestimated me Neva." Ulrik said.

Neva glared as her vision returned. "You'll pay for that. Ice Bullets!"

"Earth Barrier!"

Rafe stood up next to Ulrik and Draegan. "I'll lend Rave a hand. Draegan. You help Ulrik."

"We'll get the people to safety." Brandon said.

"Phoenix Fire!"

Neva dodged the attack, laughing a little. "That won't work on me dragon boy. Frost Arrow!"

"Inferno Spike!" Draegan winced a little.

"Dark Trance!"

Rave winced a little as his arms dropped to his side. 'I can't move. This spell is too powerful for me to break free.'

"Star Shower!"

Krista cried out in pain as she was knocked back a little. "Your little spell won't save him."

"Rave." Rafe said. "Snap out of it."

Krista laughed while watching Rafe. "You're not going to get through to him. He's under my spell and you don't have the power to break it."

"I'll just have to take you down then." Rafe said. "Star Blade!"

Krista dodged and prepared another attack. "Shadow Bind!"

Rafe winced, struggling to break free. 'There has to be way to get out of this.'

"Are you ready to die Rafe?" Krista asked. "Shadow Boomerang Blade!"

Rafe cried out in pain as he was dragged to the ground, bleeding. 'I can't die here.'

"These two are done for." Krista said.

Neva smirked, dodging the spike. "Is that all Draegan?"

"Paralysis!"

Neva froze, keeping his gaze on Ulrik. "You got me Ulrik." She then smirked and readied her next spell. "That spell don't work on me anymore. Explosion!"

Ulrik cried out in pain as he fell to the ground. "We can't keep this up much longer."

"I'm not finished yet." Draegan said. "You rest. Let me deal with her. Phoenix Fire Cage!"

Neva watched as the cage formed around her. "That's more like. It won't work though." She then grabbed on to the bars and smirked as they froze, destroying the cage.

"That's not possible." Draegan said.

Neva laughed, walking up to Draegan. "You don't know the extent of my power. Icy Touch!"

Draegan shivered as his body started to freeze. "You can't win."

"I already have." Neva said as Draegan completely froze.

Ulrik winced, watching as Draegan was frozen. 'No. There has to be something I can do. Rave is in a trance and Rafe is too weak to stand. They are way too strong for us.'

"Who should we take out next?" Krista asked.

"It doesn't matter." Neva said. "They don't have the power to stop us."

"How are we supposed to help them?" Brandon asked.

"We don't." Helia said. "We're not strong enough."

Krista laughed, focusing her attention on Helia. "Pathetic. You won't fight us because you know you can't win. This is the end for you boys. Shadow Boomerang Blast!"

Neva smiled and joined in on Krista's attack. "Ice Bullets!"

"Lava Shield!"

"Our attacks didn't get through." Krista said.

"Healing Rain!"

"How are they still alive?" Neva asked, growling a little.

"Mess with someone your own size." Carmen said.

Ulrik smiled and slowly stood up. "It took you long enough."

"My spell can't do anything to help Rave." Felicity said.

Rosella landed next to Rave. "Hold on Rave. Healing Light! My light can break this spell."

"What happened to me?" Rave asked, holding his head.

"It doesn't matter." Rafe said. "You should rest."

Rave nodded and walked off with Rafe. 'They made it back alright. I just hope that everything went well.'

"You can't defeat us fairies." Krista said.

"Aura Blast!"

"Light Arrow!"

"We won't stop fighting." Abigail said.

Neva laughed as she readied one of her spell. "Another flower girl. Don't make me laugh. Frost Arrow!"

"Wall of Thorns!"

Neva growled as the area around them started to freeze. "You'll regret messing with me. Ice Bullets!"

Abigail cried out in pain and fell to the ground, shivering a little. "I won't give up."

"Abby?!" Colton called out, running towards her.

"Shadow Bind!"

Colton winced as he was pulled to his knees. "I have to get free."

"Inferno Chakram!"

The shadows binding Colton caught on fire and released him. "Thanks Rexx. Get up Abby."

Abigail slowly stood up, her bag and brooch appearing. "Floral Wreath!"

"What is this?!" Neva called out, trying her best to get free. "I can't freeze it."

"Magma Orb!"

Neva cried out in pain, falling to the ground unconscious. 'Where did this power come from?'

"You're all alone Krista." Ulrik said.

Krista growled a little and readied her next attack. "Shadow Boomerangs! Cyclone!"

"Convergence!"

Krista cried out in pain, falling to her knees. "I'm not done with you."

"Give up already." Ulrik said. "You can't possibly win this Krista."

Krista shot Ulrik a small glare and disappeared into shadows. 'I'll get you next time.'

"She'll be back." Draegan said.

Ulrik smirked a little, glancing over at Neva. "I know. Krista isn't the type to give up easily. At least Neva is out of the way." He smiled as Neva was locked away.

"It's time to save Rachel." Zane said.

"Did you get the runes?" Helia asked.

"One of Rangda's demons destroyed them." Rosella said.

"What are we supposed to do now?" Rafe asked.

"Hold on." Felicity said. "I thought you were with Rave."

Rafe nodded and smiled. "He's resting. Don't worry. Rave will be fine."

Ulrik sighed and shook his head. "Without the runes, we can't get through to Rachel."

"Actually." Alex said. "Zane believes that he can."

"Do you believe that?" Rafe asked.

"Of course he does." Lyon said. "We all do. If Zane says he can reach her, then he can."

A look of shock came over Carmen's face. "This is weird."

"Did Lyon just say something nice?" Gale asked.

"Yeah." Felicity said. "There's more to him than we know. A kinder side exists in him."

"Did you have something to do with this?" Rexx asked.

"I think I brought it out." Felicity said. "It's always been there."

"Can we focus?" Alex asked. "Time is running out."

Gale released a small sigh and nodded. "Zane. The time to save Rachel is now."

"How much time do we have exactly?" Helia asked.

"We have until sunset." Gale said. "After that, Rangda will be too powerful."

Zane nodded and sat down on a nearby bench, closing his eyes. 'Everyone is counting on me. We stand a better chance with Rachel.'

"Are you sure he can save her?" Rafe asked.

"Yes." Felicity said. "If anyone can get through to Rachel, it's Zane. It's how Lyon got through to me. We have to believe that he can do this."

'Rachel.' Zane thought. 'Please. We need you. I need you.'

Rachel winced a little as she heard a voice calling out to her. 'Someone is looking for me. I can't make out the voice.'

Zane made his way through his mind, trying to find some sign of Rachel. 'Come on Rachel. Give me something. You heard me before. If it wasn't for you, I'd be back with that witch. Help me find you.'

Shadow Lair

"My pet is trying to reach his love." Rangda said, smirking a little. "We can't have that." She chuckled a little as she gave her amulet a little squeeze.

Magix City

Zane winced in pain, trying to keep his mind focused on Rachel. 'I can't do this without you Rachel.'

"What's wrong with him?" Brandon asked.

Catarina winced and held her head. "It's Rangda. She's trying to take control of him. I can feel her dark aura all around him."

"He won't be able to resist her for much longer." Alex said. "And Daniel isn't here to help him."

Catarina walked over to Zane and placed a hand on his shoulder. 'You have to fight her Zane. I can use my magic to help you find Rachel. You are strong enough to resist Rangda's control.'

"What is Cat doing?" Carmen asked.

"She's using her magic to help Zane." Gale said. "Catarina's aura sensing ability might be able to help him find her."

'Rachel please.' Zane thought. 'I care about you so much. I love you.'

Rachel winced, hearing the voice again. 'This voice. It's Zane. He's looking for me. There has to be something I can do.'

"Come on Zane." Alex said. "You can do this."

'Rachel!' Zane thought.

Rachel winced once more before creating a large crystal above her. 'I'm here Zane. Find me.'

Zane ran towards the crystal, spotting Rachel in the distance. 'Rachel?!' He then knelt down and held her in his arms. 'Wake up.'

'I can't.' Rachel thought. 'I'm scared.'

Zane smiled and held her close. 'It's alright. I'm here for you. You don't have to be afraid anymore. You have to wake up. We can't win this battle without you.' Within seconds, his eyes shot open. "What happened? I have to go back."

"You can't." Catarina said. "You've already used up most of your energy. If you spend more time in there, you could die."

Zane fisted his hands and punched a nearby wall. "I don't care if I die. If it means that Rachel can be free, then I'll gladly give my life. I'm going back in. Don't try to stop me."

Lyon glared a little and punched Zane in the face. "Are you really that stupid? Do you think that she would want you to die like this? You tried and failed. You just have to accept it. There are other things to worry about right now. Time is running out."

Zane rubbed his face and looked down. "Did you give up on Felicity? I'm not going to give up on Rachel. I can't lose her like this. You're right. She wouldn't want me to die. It would only hurt her even more. I just...don't know what to do. She heard me. I didn't get that close to let her fade away."

"I get it alright." Lyon said. "Giving up your life isn't going to bring her back. We'll find another way."

Zane nodded and sighed a little. "I hope you're right. She's scared of something. Rachel will return. She's a fighter."

'Zane.' Rachel thought. 'He's gone. Something pushed him away. I don't want to be alone in this darkness. I need you Zane.'

"Then let's save her together." Lyon said. "Are you ready to try one more time?"

Zane smiled and nodded. "Thank you."

"Did you not hear me?" Catarina asked. "Going back in will kill you."

"He won't die." Lyon said. "I'll make sure of it."

Zane sat down on the bench and closed his eyes once more. Lyon took a seat beside Zane and placed a hand on his shoulder, closing his eyes as well.

'This is your mind.' Lyon said.

Zane nodded and looked for the crystal. 'More or less. Most of the memories aren't even my own. Let's just get to Rachel and get out of here.' Without another word, he led the way to Rachel. 'Rachel.'

'Let's just hope it works this time.' Lyon said. 'You got this.'

Rachel winced and curled into Zane, shaking a little. 'Zane. He's here with me.'

'I know you're scared Rachel.' Zane said. 'Wake up. I'll help you through it. You don't have to be afraid.' He winced a little as his vision started to fade.

Lyon placed a hand on Zane's shoulder. 'Don't give up. Use my energy if you have to.'

'Zane.' Rachel said. 'I want to go home. Help me.'

Zane nodded and gently kissed Rachel's lips. 'I'm going to take you home. Stop running away from your fears. I'm here for you.'

Rachel smiled and slowly opened her eyes. 'I know.'

Zane awoke and rubbed his head. "I feel so weak."

Lyon opened his eyes and stood up. "What now?"

"I'm not sure." Zane said. "She woke up, but she's not here."

Lyon sighed and scratched his head. "And we did good. There must be more to this than we thought."

"We won't be able to go back there again." Zane said. "It's taken too much of our energy." At that moment, a blue light surrounded him. "What is this?"

The light surrounding Zane formed an orb and floated down to the bench, becoming brighter and brighter. When the light faded, Rachel appeared in a white dress with crystal accents and crystals in her hair.

"Rachel." Zane said, holding her close. "Please. Open your eyes."

Rachel winced and opened her eyes. "Where am I? Zane." She looked around and smiled. "You saved me."

"He did it." Catarina said.

Zane smiled and brushed Rachel's hair out of her face. "I'm glad to have you back."

"I'm glad to be back." Rachel said, looking at what she was wearing. "This is weird and definitely not my style."

Zane laughed a little and held her close. "We'll worry about that later. The good thing is that you're free. I'm sorry."

"You don't need to apologize." Rachel said. "It wasn't your fault. I'm just glad to be here with you. You have no idea how scared I was."

Zane smiled and gently kissed her forehead. "You're safe now. Nothing can hurt you."

"It's my fault." Rachel said. "She died because of me."

"What are you talking about?" Zane asked. "Who died?"

Rachel started to cry a little, burying her face in his chest. "My mother. My powers started to come in and one of the crystals became lodged in her chest. It was close to her heart. She's dead because of me. Even though it was an accident, my family still blames me. That's why I left home. I didn't have anyone. The time I spent sealed away was nothing but that memory playing over and over. I never told anyone." At that moment, a diamond shaped brooch with a blue diamond and a round blue bag with a purple diamond in the center appeared. "What is this?"

"You got your charmix items." Catarina said. "We're all on even ground now. And together, we can put an end to Rangda's plans."

"Why would it appear now?" Rachel asked.

"Because you shared your deepest nightmare." Zane said. "I know it hurts, but talking about it always helps."

Rachel smiled and hugged him. "I do feel much better now."

"We just have to get into Rangda's lair." Alex said. "Not to mention free Daniel and end this ritual before sunset. We only have two hours until then."

Rachel nodded and stood up. "Then we shouldn't waste time. Let's stop this witch once and for all. One question. How do we do that?"

"We have to release the essence." Ulrik said. "It's stored within a crystal. And there's still the matter of one last thing."

"What is that?" Rosella asked.

"It wasn't just essence that was being collected." Ulrik said.

"What are you talking about?" Alex asked.

"Asher had his own personal collection." Ulrik said. "Something tells me that Rangda put the idea in his head. He has a wing collection."

"Do you mean fairy wings?" Felicity asked, cowering a little.

"Yes." Ulrik said. "That's why I'm sure that witch made him. Asher adores fairies. Collecting essence was his idea. He thought that if he gathered enough of it, he could become one himself."

"How are we supposed to get into that castle without being noticed?" Alex asked.

"Draegan and I can open portals inside." Ulrik said. "If we destroy the crystal holding the essence, Rangda won't be able to complete the ritual. No holding back. The only way to stop her, is to hit her with everything we got."

Gale nodded and looked up at the sky. "Let's get going then. There's no time to waste."

"The essence will return to its rightful owners once the crystal is broken." Ulrik said. "The same thing will happen when the wings are released."

Shadow Lair

"They're coming." Rangda said.

Arric stretched out, watching the orb in front of them. "They have captured Neva and Krista is too weak to fight."

"Do not worry Arric." Rangda said. "They won't be able to do anything. Two hours is plenty of time. We'll have them beaten down by the time the ritual is over." She laughed as Daniel cried out in pain. "If fairy boy actually lives that long."
