The Scoutix made their way into Rangda's lair, managing to free Daniel. Meanwhile, the boys made their way to an area below the dungeon and managed to free the Winx. Once the wings and fairy essence were released, the Winx regained consciousness and flew off to fight the demons in Magix City. The Scoutix managed to get a few attacks in against Rangda, only to be knocked to the floor by one of her magic blasts. ~~~~

Shadow Lair

Rangda laughed as she stared at the fairies and specialists, taking pleasure in their suffering. "You're the ones that are supposed to defeat me. Don't make me laugh. With just a wave of my hand, I can destroy you all. The gateway for my demons is open and they will continue to wreak havoc on the city. It doesn't matter who fights back, my pets won't stop."

"They will once we defeat you." Alex said.

Rangda smirked and kicked Alex in the stomach. "I'd like to see you try boy."

"We won't stop fighting." Catarina said, slowly trying to stand up.

Rangda turned to Catarina and glared. "All I need to do is blast you with another wave of my magic and you all be gone."

"It doesn't matter." Lyon said, standing up and leaning against a nearby pillar. "There will be others that fight back. You talk too much hag."

Rangda glared a little more and blasted Lyon with an orb of energy, knocking him to the ground. "No one will be able to defeat me."

"Healing Rain!" The fairies stood up, keeping their gaze on Rangda. "Scoutix! Charmix!"

"You're going down." Rachel said. "Emerald Shot!"

"Light Arrow Shower!"

Rangda winced a little and smirked. "It's going to take more than that little fairies."

"Floral Wreath!"

"Light Ray!"

Rangda shielded herself and cried out in pain. "You're little tricks won't do you any good. I've got the upper hand."

"Magma Orb!"

Rangda sighed and moved out of the way. "You can't keep up with me." She chuckled a little as she held up the amulet trapping Mythia and Pheres. "I can make them disappear if I want. You wouldn't want that Danny boy. Let's not forget about your precious brother either. I'm the only one that can free them."

Daniel fisted his hands, glaring at Rangda. 'What am I supposed to do? What if she's right? She could be the only one that can free them.'

"There's nothing you can do." Rangda said, glancing over at Rachel. "And let's not forget about Zane. What do you think will happen to him once I'm gone? My magic created him and it will destroy him."

Rachel glared and fisted her hands. "You're lying."

"Am I?" Rangda asked, looking over at Zane. "Didn't he tell you? What's wrong Zane? I thought you loved her."

Rachel looked to Zane with a worried look on her face. "Zane. Please. Tell me it's not true."

"I'm sorry Rachel." Zane said, quickly looking away. "I didn't want you to worry about me."

Rachel fell to her knees and started to cry. "No. I can't do this. I can't keep fighting like this."

"You have to Rachel." Zane said, wincing a little. "She has to be stopped. If you don't, the entire dimension will fall. It's alright. I'm ready to die."

Rachel shook her head as she continued to cry. "I don't want to lose you."

"That won't happen." Carmen said.

"What power do you have to save him?" Rangda asked. "Without my magic, he can't exist. You have got to be the dumbest fairy of all."

"We'll find a way." Carmen said. "I promise Rachel. We won't let Zane die."

Rangda glared and twirled the amulet in her hands. "Do what you will, but you're forgetting something. I still have the sealed amulet. I'm the one in control here."

Rachel nodded and wiped away her tears. "Let's take her down."

"Are you even listening to me?" Rangda asked. "You can't win. My demons will continue to attack the city until there is nothing left. Do you really think that those fools will be able to stop my army? All they're doing is wasting their energy. And when it runs out, they'll be destroyed as well."

"There has to be something we can do." Abigail said.

Daniel winced and fell to his knees. "I'm not sure what we can do. As long as she has my parents trapped, we can't risk using our magic."

"Just admit defeat already." Rangda said, holding up the sealed amulet as her main amulet appeared. "You can't do a thing to me while I have this little pendant." Before she could say anything else, a purple scimitar flew towards her and knocked the pendant away. "You're really starting to be a pain."

"Now's your chance." A voice said. "Hit her with everything you got. It will be alright."

'It's that voice again.' Alex thought. 'Who could it be and why are they helping us?'

Lyon smirked a little and grabbed the amulet. 'Don't worry Daniel. I won't let anything happen to this.'

"You're not strong enough to defeat me." Rangda said, glaring at the fairies.

Daniel stood up, keeping his gaze on Rangda. "You're about to see what happens when we work together witch."

"Convergence!"

Rangda chuckled a little until she noticed that she was starting to fade away. "This isn't possible. What are you doing?!"

"Our power is strongest when we work together." Rosella said.

'They need more power.' Zane thought. "Come on guys. Let's give them a hand."

They guys nodded and stood up, summoning their weapons.

"Frost Arrow!"

"Tempest!"

"Inferno Chakram Strike!"

"Light Javelin Burst!"

"Terra Wave!"

"Lightning Spear!"

"I won't go down like this!" Rangda yelled out as she continued to fade away.

"Flame Vortex!"

"Dark Fire Spiral!"

"Draegan. Asher." Daniel said, smiling a little.

Rangda cried out in pain before completely fading into nothing. A bright light filled the room and quickly disappeared, releasing Mythia and Pheres.

'My boys.' Mythia thought.

Pheres smiled and looked around. 'I'm sorry for not being able to protect you Daniel.'

'You don't need to apologize.' Daniel though with a big grin across his face. 'I'm just glad you're alright.'

Mythia smiled and made her way over to Asher. 'Asher.'

'Mother.' Asher thought, looking down a little. 'I'm sorry. You were captured because of me.'

Mythia shook her head and placed a hand on his shoulder. 'I'm the one that should be apologizing. I should have told you everything.'

'What do you mean by everything?' Daniel asked.

'We're trapped in a sort of limbo.' Pheres said. 'We never actually died. And we're close to coming back.'

'How?' Daniel asked.

Mythia smiled, focusing her attention on Asher. 'There's a reason I gave you my wings. I've fought Rangda before. She wanted my essence in order to control the magic in my staff. In order to keep it away from her, I sealed my essence within my wings. It's time to release them my son.'

Asher nodded and walked up to the only wings left in the castle. "It's time for you to return now." He smiled and opened up the case the wings were in.

In another flash of light, the wings returned to Mythia as both her and Pheres faded back into existance. "We're finally free."

"What happens now?" Felicity asked.

"Simple." Catarina said. "All that's left to do is seal the gateway those demons are coming through."

Draegan smiled and made his way over to Ulrik. "I've got you." He then helped him up off the floor and draped Ulrik's arm over his shoulders. "How are you doing buddy?"

Ulrik winced a little and smiled. "I'll be fine. I'm just a little exhausted."

"Let's go clean up the city." Carmen said.

They all nodded and made their way through a portal leading to Magix City.

Magix City

"This is too much." Stella said, falling to her knees and huffing a little. "I'm completely exhausted."

Brandon ran over to Stella and helped her up. "I've got you. We're all exhausted."

"It wouldn't be logical to keep fighting like this." Tecna said, landing on the ground.

"Flame Storm!" Bloom winced a little and started to fall from the air, only to have Sky catch her. "Thanks. Even I'm running out of energy."

"This has got to be one of the toughest battles we have fought." Aisha said, wincing a little.

Flora winced and leaned back against a wall. "Our magic is growing weaker. How much longer will this go on?"

"If we give up now, the city will be gone." Musa said, returning to her civilian form.

"How can there be so many of them?" Rachel asked as the fairies looked down at the city.

"It's because the gateway is still open." Catarina said. "They will keep coming as long as it's open."

Carmen smiled and looked towards the gateway. "Then we'll just have to close it. After that, we can get rid of the remaining demons."

The fairies nodded and flew to the gateway. "Magic Scoutix! Convergence!" Within a flash of light, the gateway closed and disappeared.

"Now let's help the others." Rosella said.

"You all look like crap." Rave said as the guys made their way to the group.

Alex laughed a little and sat down. "You have no idea what we went through. I'm still hurting."

"Pheres. Mythia." Zaven said, smiling as the two walked up to him. "You're here."

Pheres nodded and smiled. "In the flesh. There's nothing like being trapped in limbo."

"And the Scoutix?" Rafe asked.

Mythia smiled and looked to the sky. "They're just fine. Rangda is gone and the gateway is closed. It's time to clear out the rest of these demons."

"There's nothing we can do." Daphne said, landing and returning to normal. "We're all too weak to keep fighting."

Saladin smiled and looked up. "It's up to them now."

"Yes." Faragonda said, looking up at the Scoutix. "These demons even gave us a run for our money."

"Light Arrow Shower!"

"Chakra Blast!"

"Magma Orb!"

"Emerald Shot!"

"Light Ray!"

"Floral Wreath!"

"Neptune Whirlpool!"

Within a matter of seconds, the remaining demons faded into nothing. The Scoutix landed as everyone returned to normal.

"It's over." Moira said.

Rachel looked to Zane and looked down a little. "Zane. You're still here."

"Not for much longer I'm afraid." Zane said, wincing and sliding to the ground.

"Zane?!" Rachel called out, holding him in her arms. "No. You can't die."

"Rangda's magic is gone." Zane said. "It created me and without it, I can't remain in this world. I'll always love you."

Rachel started to cry, holding him closer. "I love you too. Please. Don't leave me."

"Isn't there anything we can do?" Colton asked. "They don't deserve this."

"I'm not sure we can do anything." Abigail said.

Daniel looked down and gripped his arm. "It can't end like this. We should be celebrating right now. There has to be something we can do to stop this from happening."

"Maybe if we combine our magic, we can save him." Carmen said.

Felicity shook her head, glancing over at Rachel and Zane. "It won't matter. We're completely out of energy."

Musa folded her arms and looked down. "This shouldn't be happening."

"Musa." A voice said. "There is one way to save him. You can us it. It's the only way to make this right."

'This voice.' Musa thought. "That's it." She smiled a little and pulled out her Sirenix box. "I never used my wish. This is the perfect moment." 'Sirenix Guardian. Please save him.'

Musa's Sirenix Guardian nodded and faded away. 'You've set him free Musa.'

Zane started to return to normal, causing him to smile. "I'm not sure what's going on, but I do know that I'm not going anywhere."

Rachel smiled and hugged Zane. "I told you that you weren't going anywhere. I'm just glad to have you back. And this time, you're free."

Carmen smiled and started jumping around the area. "This is awesome. I knew that things would be alright. That witch is gone along with all traces of her magic. Can we have a party? Let's have a party. Come on. It's time to celebrate another victory."

"You're the most energetic person I've ever met Carmen." Daniel said, laughing a little.

Catarina smiled and shook her head a little. "Calm down Carmen. We should rest first. Not all of us have the same amount of energy as you."

A sly smile came over Carmen's face and she turned her attention to Felicity. "You can heal everyone Felicity."

"Not exactly." Felicity said. "My magic is too weak to heal everyone."

Carmen sulked and fell to her knees. "Not fair. I really wanted to have a party. I don't like waiting."

Rexx smiled and helped Carmen off the ground. "We can have a party later tonight. That's plenty of time for everyone to regain their energy. How does that sound?"

Carmen's eyes lit up as she hugged Rexx. "That's more like it."

Alfea

"I feel a lot better." Rachel said, stretching out. "A good rest is just what we needed."

Felicity nodded and took a sip of tea. "I agree. We should head outside now. The party is already starting. Everyone else is already down there."

Rachel smiled and nodded. "Yea. A party is just what I need after everything that has happened."

"There you two are." Carmen said, running up to Rachel and Felicity. "It's about time."

Rachel too notice to Zane and walked over to him. "How does it feel?"

"How does what feel?" Zane asked.

"Being free." Rachel said. "You're human now."

Zane smiled and gently kissed her. "I can actually say that I'm human now. It feels great to be free. I may have memories that aren't my own, but the feelings I have for you are real."

Rachel hugged him, curling into his chest. "It doesn't matter. You have always been human to me."

Felicity smiled, turning her attention to Lyon. She sighed a little and walked over to him. "Don't you like parties?"

"It's not really my thing." Lyon said, staring up at the evening sky.

Felicity shook her head and brought his head down to look at her. "Not even for me."

Lyon smirked and pulled her close. "We could just stay right here."

Felicity smiled and kissed him. "I'm just happy to be with you."

Lyon smiled as they sat down on the grass. "And I'm happy to be with someone so beautiful."

"I always knew there was kindness in you." Felicity said, laying her head on his shoulder.

"What will you do now Rave?" Alex asked.

"I'm not sure." Rave said, sitting down on a nearby bench.

Alex sat down beside him and smiled. "You could stay."

"What are you talking about?" Rave asked.

"Come to Red Fountain." Alex said. "You'd do great there."

Rave looked down and gripped his arm. "It wouldn't be possible after everything I've done."

"You're not that person anymore Rave." Alex said. "You can make a fresh start."

Rave looked up a little and nodded. "I'll think about it."

"They're getting along." Moira said, looking over at Alex and Rave.

Zaven nodded and smiled. "Yeah. They are brothers after all." He then turned his attention to Mythia and Pheres. "How does it feel to be back with the living?"

"It's a little odd." Pheres said. "I've forgotten what it's like to be alive."

Mythia smiled and wrapped her arm around Pheres. "We were trapped in limbo for a long time sweetheart."

"Daniel has made some great friends." Moira said.

Pheres nodded, looking over at Daniel. "Yeah. He's so much happier now."

"Where's Asher?" Zaven asked.

"He thought it would be best to stay away from here." Mythia said.

Pheres looked down a little and held Mythia close. "He's really upset about what that witch made him do. It could be a while before he's comfortable around fairies again."

"Daniel sure has been through a lot." Zane said, looking over at his friend. "Despite what's happened, he still cares for Asher. Daniel isn't even upset with him."

Rachel nodded, turning her attention to Daniel. "He's just that kind of person. Asher is beating himself up for the things Rangda made him do."

"He wanted to become a fairy." Daniel said, walking over to Zane and Rachel. "That's why he collected the essence."

"Do you think that he will be alright?" Rachel asked.

Daniel sighed and looked down a little. "I'm not sure. There's a part of me that hopes he will, but only time will tell."

"I'm sure that everything will be just fine." Zane said. "He's not completely lost. I believe that he truly is sorry for everything he did. Asher just needs time to get over it all."

Carmen smiled as she danced around the area. She even managed to outlast some of the better trained dancers. "Now this is a party."

Rexx smiled as he watched Carmen. "Just be yourself Carmen." 'She's really enjoying herself.'

"What is up with her?" A dark haired girl asked.

"I'm not sure." A blond girl said.

A brunette girl scoffed a little and crossed her arms. "Who cares. She's so annoying."

Carmen continued to smile, taking in everything the girls were saying. 'Annoying.'

The dark haired girl smirked and placed a hand on her hip. "You got that right. Carmen is nothing but a freak."

"She doesn't have any real friends." The blond said. "Those so-called friends of hers just took pity on her."

The brunette laughed, keeping her arms crossed. "Yeah. Who would actually want to be friends with her? She should just leave. No one really wants her around."

"What about her boyfriend?" The dark-haired girl asked.

"He should leave her." The blond said. "Either one of us would be better for him than her. No one believes that he actually loves her."

'Annoying.' Carmen thought. 'Freak. Pity. No. That's not true at all. Is it? Does Rexx actually love me? I just wanted everyone to be happy. Am I not allowed to be happy?' After a few minutes, she stopped dancing and disappeared out of sight. 'Is that really what everyone thinks of me?'

Rexx took notice to the three girls laughing and Carmen walking away. "Carmen wait." He started to follow her, only to be stopped by the three girls.

"Forget about her." The brunette said. "You need someone more mature than that."

Rexx glared a little, trying to find Carmen in the crowd. "What did you do to Carmen?"

"We didn't do anything to the freak." The brunette said. "Stay with us handsome."

Rexx gently pushed the brunette away and started making his way in the direction Carmen went. "She's not a freak. And I would never hang around girls like you." Without waiting for a response, he ran off after Carmen. 'Where are you?'

"I hope you're happy." Rachel said, walking up to the girls. "All she wanted to do was dance and you ruined that."

The dark-haired girl scoffed and crossed her arms. "As if we care about that annoying freak."

"You three should be careful." Felicity said, walking up beside Rachel. "Karma strikes with a vengeance."

The brunette laughed and moved closer to Felicity. "It's not like you care. You only care about yourself."

"I see what's going on here." Rachel said. "You don't feel special, so you have to put down anyone you can."

The girls were offended by Rachel's words and walked off out of sight.

"Carmen." Catarina said, looking down a little.

Carmen made her way back to her room, turning off all the lights and closing the curtains. 'Maybe I am just a freak.' She then pulled her knees up to her chest and laid her head on them. 'My friends care about me right. They are really my friends right.' After a few minutes of sitting there, she got up and packed her things. 'I can't stay here anymore. No one cares about me. I am a freak.' Without hesitation, she opened a small portal and stepped through it. 'I wonder where this will take me. Goodbye everyone.'

"Catarina." Rexx said. "Tell me you've seen Carmen."

Catarina shook her head and looked up at the college. "No. I'll check her room alright." With that, she took off running to the dorms. 'Please be here Carmen.' She walked over to Carmen's bed, taking notice to the fact that her stuff was gone. Sighing, she walked back to Rexx. "She's gone."

"What do you mean by gone?" Rexx asked.

"All her stuff is gone Rexx." Catarina said. "And there isn't any indication of where she went."

Rexx looked down and gripped his arm. 'Carmen. Where are you?'

Old Ruins

"Ruins." Carmen said, looking around at the area. "It's a better place than any. This is my home now." She sighed and made her way deep inside the ruins. 'No one will find me here.'
