After defeating Rangda and sealing the demonic gateway, the Scoutix wiped out the remaining demons and went off to celebrate. During the party, Carmen overhead a group of girls talking about her. Not long after, she made her way back to her room and packed all her things. Starting to believe the things the girls had said, she opened a portal that led to some old ruins.~~~~

Ruins

"I never knew that a place like this existed." Carmen said. "Now I'm talking to myself." She took in every detail of the area, not wanting to miss a thing. "No one would think to look for me in a place like this. It's just me now. I'm all...alone."

"You're not alone child."

"Who said that?" Carmen asked, quickly scanning the area. "Must be my imagination."

"Follow my voice young one. You don't have to feel alone."

Carmen shrugged a little and made her way deeper into the ruins, coming upon a large chamber. "This place is huge."

"Have a seat little fairy." At that moment, a stone throne rose from the center of the floor. "You can trust me. I need your help."

"How could I help you?" Carmen asked, taking a seat on the throne.

"It's so cold here." The voice said. "Your magic can restore this place."

"What do I have to do?" Carmen asked.

Before another word was said, a red crystal rose in front of Carmen. "Place your hand on the crystal. It will take care of the rest."

Carmen reached her hand out towards the crystal, hesitating a little. "I'm not sure about this."

"Help me child." The voice said. "I can take all your pain away. No one will be able to hurt you here."

Without another thought, Carmen placed her hand on the crystal. Almost instantly, the crystal was engulfed in flames. "Is this supposed to happen?"

"Don't be afraid. You're doing fine. Close your eyes and relax."

Carmen nodded and closed her eyes. "I can feel my power flowing through this place." At that moment, a spiral-shaped mark appeared on her shoulder. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and looked at the mark. "What is this mark?"

"It's nothing to worry about my dear. That mark will help take all your pain away. There is one other thing you must do in order to fully restore this place."

"I might as well finish what I started." Carmen said, taking notice to the little light that the room gave off.

To the left of the throne, a pool of lava opened up. "All you have to do is sleep within the lava pool. This process will take time, but you'll feel much better afterwards. You will be sealed inside until the time is right. Do you still wish to proceed?"

Carmen stepped into the pool as it formed a rock bed around her. "I just want this pain to stop."

"That a girl. Sleep and let the lava take care of the rest. You'll wake up completely refreshed and full of energy. A stronger fairy than before."

Carmen nodded and laid down on the bed as the volcanic rock closed around her. 'No one can hurt me now.' She then drifted off to sleep under a blanket of molten lava.

'You have no idea what you've awoken fairy.' The voice thought. 'I'll take that pain and turn it into rage. The good within you will be replaced by darkness and your heart will be ice cold. You'll take revenge on everyone. Once a month has passed, this place will be back at full strength.'

1 Month Later

Red Fountain

Rexx watched as Gale and Alex were training, but having his thoughts locked on something else. 'All this time and not a single word. You didn't have to leave.'

"Rexx. Zane." Gale said, huffing a little."You're up."

Alex smiled and relaxed a little. "I almost had you Gale."

Gale laughed a little and sat down. "You rely too much on instinct. You're arrows need more power behind them. It's the only way you're going to break through my defenses."

"Rexx." Zane said, taking notice that his sparring partner was gone. "Where did he go?"

Lyon was leaning up against the wall until he heard Zane speak. Sighing a little, he walked up to the others. "It's been a month you guys. Let him have his space."

"No one has heard anything." Colton said.

Gale shook his head and looked at the sky. "I'm not sure what happened at that party, but it must have been pretty bad. Catarina said that Carmen took everything and left. There hasn't been any sign of her since."

"It's no wonder Rexx isn't himself." Zane said. "He has always enjoyed sparring. The guy hasn't even smiled since she left. I'm really worried about him."

Gale nodded and turned to Zane. "That makes both of us. His skills have become weaker since then. Rexx isn't motivated to keep up with his training."

'I have to find her.' Rexx thought as he finished packing. 'No matter how long it takes.'

"You're going off to find her." Helia said, standing in the doorway.

Rexx sighed and threw his bag over his shoulder. "I was wondering how long it would be before you figured it out. It's just something I have to do."

"You don't have to do this alone." Helia said.

Rexx looked down and gripped his arm a little. "I'm the only one that knows what she's going through. She hasn't been this hurt in a long time."

"You're not going alone." Rave said, appearing out of the shadows.

Rexx jumped a little, turning his gaze to Rave. "Do you have to do that? And you're not coming."

"It's a quick way to get around." Rave said. "You're not getting rid of me that easily. Besides, I might know the first place to start looking. I completely understand if you don't want my help. I'll just keep the place a secret."

Rexx sulked a little, keeping his gaze on Rave. "Fine. Where do you suggest we start looking? One more thing. What happened to Ulrik and Draegan?"

"How do you think I found out about this place?" Rave asked, smiling a little. "There are some ruins located deep in the mountains. For reasons unknown, they completely restored themselves."

Rexx sighed and sat down on his bed. "That doesn't make any sense at all. There's always some explanation. What's so special about these ruins?"

"They run on volcanic energy." Helia said. "Someone or something refueled the energy. Only volcanic magic could do something like that."

'Why did I have to end up teaming up with Rave?' Rexx thought. "I see. It's possible that Carmen started it up. You never did answer my question. Where is Ulrik and Draegan?"

"Already ahead of us." Rave said. "They could sense the energy shift. That's why I can't let you go alone. And I can get us there in no time."

Rexx shook his head and looked at the floor. "I'd rather not do any sort of teleporting."

"You really have changed." Rave said. "It will be fun. You like that sort of thing. Or you used to."

"Does Alex know what you're doing?" Rexx asked.

"What Alex doesn't know won't hurt him." Rave said. "He's not my babysitter. Besides, I need a break from my brother. Now let's get going." He then placed a hand on Rexx's shoulder and smiled.

Rexx sighed and shook his head. "I knew it. And that's not what I meant at all. He worries about you. I'm telling you Rave. Me and teleporting do not mix."

"You still have time to change your mind." Rave said, before they disappeared into shadows. "Too late."

Ruins

"Wasn't that great?" Rave asked as they appeared in front of the ruins.

Rexx wobbled over to a bush and threw up. "Yea. That was great alright."

"That's what you meant." Rave said. "You should have told me that teleporting made you sick."

Rexx cleaned himself up and sighed a little. "Let's find Ulrik and Draegan."

"Are you sure you're alright?" Rave asked.

Rexx nodded and looked at the ruins. "I'll be fine. This place was once ruins. How long has it been restoring itself?"

"One month exactly." Ulrik said, walking out with Draegan.

Draegan heard something squish under his boot and grimaced a little when he seen what it was. 'Why me?' He sighed a little and cleaned up his boot. "I don't want to know what that was about."

"Sorry about that Draegan." Rexx said. "A month. That's when Carmen took off."

Rave quivered a little and looked up at the ruins. "This place doesn't feel right at all. Or maybe I'm just paranoid."

"There is an odd energy coming from this place." Ulrik said. "It could just be the lava that flows through it. There's a chance that it may carry a little bit of dark magic. Let's be careful. Who knows what could be down there."

Rexx nodded and started making his way through the ruins. "I wonder how big this place really is."

'Intruders.' The voice thought. 'They will make a perfect gift for the princess.'

"Something doesn't feel right." Rave said, looking through the shadows.

Rexx looked around, taking notice to Carmen's bag. "This is Carmen's. She's been here."

"I need a break." Draegan said, taking a seat on a nearby rock.

Rave placed his hand on the wall and winced a little. "There's dark energy here. I can feel it."

"Don't touch the walls." Ulrik said. "The dark magic will only cause you harm Rave."

Rave nodded and sat down on a stone block. "It could take us hours to search this place."

Rexx sighed and sat down next to Rave. "You don't have to stay here. I can look for Carmen."

"This place is too dangerous." Ulrik said, taking a seat next to Draegan. "You don't have to do this alone."

Rexx nodded, turning his attention to Ulrik. "That's exactly what the headmaster said. You two think alike."

Draegan leaned back against the wall and closed his eyes. "We'll find her Rexx. She probably just wanted to be alone for a while. I'm sure she's fine."

Before anyone could say another word, volcanic rock started to engulf them.

"I knew something was wrong." Rave said, struggling to break free.

Rexx winced and watched as Draegan was engulfed. "It's too strong for us to break free."

"Draegan?!" Ulrik called out as he was engulfed.

The rock finished engulfing Rave and Rexx, appearing in the throne room.

'There has to be a way to break out of this.' Rexx thought.

"It's time to awaken my dear." The voice said.

'Who could that be?' Rave asked himself.

The rock surrounding Carmen opened up as the bed rose up to the throne. Carmen slowly opened her eyes as the lava blanket disappeared. Her hair had turned red and was styled in a up-do. The only thing that remained the same was her eyes. Her outfit consisted of red tube top with floral lace across the midriff, a matching mini skirt, black opera length arm bands, black knee high boots, and a black choker with red pearls. On her shoulder was the mark of a red swirl with a flame swirl underneath.

"How do you feel princess?" The voice asked.

"Rejuvenated." Carmen said, taking a seat upon her throne. "Why are there rocks here?"

"Intruders princess. I captured them for you. A gift for your rebirth."

Carmen smirked and crossed her legs. "Show them to me."

"As you wish." The volcanic rock shifted, forcing their arms behind their back and pulling the boys to the floor.

"Why are you here?" Carmen asked, giving the guys a cold stare.

Rexx looked up at Carmen, struggling to break free. "Where's Carmen?"

"If you're talking about that pathetic fairy," Carmen began. "She's dead."

Rave winced and looked up. 'Who is she?'

"Why should we believe you?" Draegan asked.

"You don't believe me." Carmen said, holding up a volcano pendant. "Is this proof enough?" She smirked as she threw it in front of Rexx.

Rexx's eyes widened upon seeing the pendant. 'I gave that to Carmen when we were kids. It can't be true. I can still feel her.'

'The curse is real.' Ulrik thought. "Carmen's not dead. This girl is Carmen. Look at her Rexx."

"You're right." Rexx said, taking a closer look at Carmen. "Her appearance has changed, but it's definitely her. Carmen. Why are you doing this?"

Carmen glared as the rock around Rexx tightened. "The Carmen you knew is dead. And you all can join her."

Rexx winced, keeping his gaze on Carmen. "Don't you recognize me? It's me. Rexx. I love you."

"Love is for the weak." Carmen said. "No one cares about me and I don't care about them. You all can die for all I care."

Rexx looked down, giving up a little. 'It's worse than I thought. What happened to you Carmen?' "Carmen please."

"Actually." Carmen said, walking closer to the guys. "I have a better idea for you boys." She smirked as the volcanic rock formed to their body shapes.

Rexx sighed, keeping his gaze on the floor. "I won't leave your side Carmen. And I'll find a way to save you. I want to see that happy smile on your face."

"By the time I'm finished," Carmen began. "No one will be happy. I'm going to take away everyone's happiness. I will make them all pay." She smirked and rubbed Rexx's face. "You'll never see your precious fairy again. And you will address me as princess."

"What are you doing to us?" Ulrik asked.

"Simple." Carmen said, walking back to her throne. "You will become my volcanic warriors."

Rave winced as his vision became hazy. "That won't happen."

"You don't have a choice." Carmen said. "The volcanic rock will force you to obey me." She laughed as the rock completely took over Rave, Ulrik, and Draegan. She then turned to Rexx and smiled. "As for you. I have something else in mind." She smiled as Rexx was dragged to the side of her throne. "This is where you will remain."

'There has to be a way to get through to her.' Rexx thought. 'Either way. I have to stay by her side. What's with that mark on her arm? Could it be forcing her to act like this?'

"You'll make a fine pet." Carmen said, sitting down on her throne and running her fingers through Rexx's hair. "It's time for everyone to know of my arrival. Isn't that right my pet?" She laughed as Rexx was transformed into a tiger.

"What are your orders princess?" The voice asked.

"You can start by telling me your name." Carmen said.

"Volcana." The voice said. "What are your orders princess?"

Carmen smiled upon seeing her newly formed warriors. "We'll start by going to Alfea. Those girls will be the first to feel my wrath."

"The crystal controls this place." Volcana said. "You can use it to levitate the throne."

Carmen smirked as the crystal appeared in front of her. "Let's not waste anymore time."

"This place runs on your magic." Volcana said. "You can make it do anything you want."

Without hesitation, she touched the crystal and sat back as the throne lifted into the air. "Come my warriors."

The guys bowed and took their places around Carmen as the throne floated towards Alfea.

'Now to find those three girls.' Carmen thought. 'I'll show them what true freaks look like.'

Alfea

"Do you think Carmen is alright?" Abigail asked.

Catarina looked down and gripped her arm a little. "I'm not sure. I have no idea what she heard. All I know is that it hurt her enough to make her leave. No one has heard from her in a month."

"It's all because of those girls." Felicity said.

Rachel nodded and looked out the window. "They called her a freak. Those girls were just so mean. I never thought that Carmen would runaway."

"Carmen may seem happy, but it's all just for show." Catarina said. "She doesn't want anyone to know just how unhappy she really is."

"What do you mean?" Rosella asked.

"When Carmen first came here, we became friends rather quickly." Catarina said. "She told me about her life before this. You all know how energetic and sporty she is."

Rachel nodded and sat down beside Catarina. "Yeah. She loves sports and just being active in general."

"Her family didn't approve of her active lifestyle." Catarina said. "They were very strict. Carmen wasn't even allowed to be around Rexx. She would have to sneak out just to hang out with him. If it wasn't for him, she would be a completely different person."

Felicity looked down and took a drink of her tea. "That's sad. She's so brave. I had no idea that someone so happy could be so sad."

"You never know what someone is truly thinking." Catarina said. "It wasn't easy for her to talk to me about it. She's been doing a lot better since she came here. The pain and sadness she feels is still there. I'm not sure if she'll ever be truly happy. Carmen loves being with Rexx, but I'm afraid that it's not enough."

"What's that?" The blond asked, looking up at the throne.

"Don't ask me Morgan." The dark-haired girl said.

The brunette sighed and crossed her arms. "Maybe it's that little freak."

"No way Alicia." Morgan said, smirking a little. "That pathetic girl is long gone. Isn't that right Angela?"

The dark-haired girl looked down and gripped her arm. "Yeah. She's not coming back."

Catarina winced and held her head. "There's a powerful dark energy here."

"Let's check it out." Rachel said, taking notice to shadow over the courtyard.

The girls nodded and ran outside with Rachel, taking in every detail of the throne.

Carmen quickly took notice to Morgan, Alicia, and Angela. "Bring them to me."

Without hesitation, the three warriors jumped down in front of the girls.

"What are those things?" Felicity asked.

"They look like walking volcanoes." Rachel said.

Carmen took notice to the Scoutix and smirked, surrounding them in a dome of volcanic rock. "Have fun getting out of that."

"Ew." Morgan said. "These things are completely disgusting."

Alicia took a few steps back in fear. "They are looking right at us. We should run."

Morgan and Angela nodded as they took off running across the courtyard. Without hesitation, the warriors placed their hands on the ground and trapped the girls' legs in volcanic rock.

"I can't get free." Morgan said, struggling to move. Before anyone could do anything, the rock trapping the girls rose up and placed them in front of Carmen. Within seconds, the girls were bond in ropes made of the rock. "Let us go witch."

Carmen smirked as the rock tightened around them. "I'm no witch sweetheart. What was that name you called me? Oh yes, I remember. Freak. Annoying. Pathetic."

"Is it really you Carmen?" Angela asked.

"I told you she was a freak." Morgan said.

Carmen chuckled and walked over to Morgan. "Girls like you never learn. You never know what the wrong words can do to a person. I'll show you a freak." She smiled before hitting Morgan and Alicia with lava. "Now you're the freaks."

Morgan and Alicia cried out in pain as they were thrown back to the ground. When they stood up, their faces were almost completely burned.

"We have to get out of here." Rachel said.

Catarina winced and nodded. "Let's transform girls."

"Magic Scoutix!"

"Rosella! Fairy of Unicorns!"

"Catarina! Fairy of Aura!"

"Rachel! Fairy of Gemstones!"

"Felicity! Fairy of Healing!"

"Abigail! Fairy of Harvest!"

"Rachel." Catarina said. "See if you're crystals can get through this rock."

Rachel nodded and readied her spell. "Throw up a shield Abigail. I'm not sure what will happen."

"Wall of Thorns!"

Once the wall was up, Rachel faced the dome and released her spell. "Crystal Blast!" The crystals bounced off the dome a little bit before breaking through the wall.

"What are you going to do to me?" Angela asked. "I'm sorry. Please. Don't hurt me."

Carmen smiled a little and walked over to Angela. "Don't hurt me. You and your friends didn't think about that when you said those hurtful things about me. Why shouldn't I hurt you?"

"Carmen please." Angela said, starting to cry a little. "It was stupid. I'm truly sorry."

Morgan and Alicia ran over to Felicity, doing their best to hide their faces.

"You've got to help us Felicity." Morgan said.

"What happened to you two?" Felicity asked.

"Carmen." Alicia said. "She hit us with lava. It hurts so much."

Rachel crossed her arms, keeping her gaze on the girls. "Carmen wouldn't do that."

"Can you help us Felicity?" Alicia asked.

Felicity sighed and shook her head a little. "My magic can take away the pain, but it's not strong enough to heal the burn. Healing Rain! Now hurry and get to the infirmary."

"Whether you want to believe it or not, that is Carmen up there." Morgan said. "She's crazed. Angela's still up there."

Catarina winced once more and looked up at the floating throne. "We'll get her. Now get moving. The burns will only get worse if you wait any longer."

Morgan and Alicia nodded before taking off inside the building.

"That can't be Carmen." Rachel said. "It's just not possible."

Carmen's smile faded as she stared at Angela. "Sorry can't save you now Angela. I'm not going to hurt you."

"Thank you Carmen." Angela said. "You can let me go now."

Carmen gave Angela a cold stare and started chuckling. "Let you go. Whoever said I was letting you go? No. I have something else in mind for you my dear angel." Taking notice to the Scoutix, she snapped her fingers and her warriors started heading in their direction. "Keep them busy my loyal warriors."

"I'll fly up and see what's going on." Catarina said. "You girls take care of these things." Without another word, she flew up and hovered in front of Carmen. "Let her go."

Carmen smirked as Angela was engulfed in the rock and dragged under the throne. "That's not going to happen. If it isn't the pesky aura fairy. They sent you after me. How am I not surprised?"

"I can't let you get away with this witch." Catarina said.

Carmen chuckled, keeping her gaze on Catarina. "You're the second person to call me a witch today. I'm no witch dear." She smiled a little as her wings appeared. Her wings were the same shape, but much darker and covered with dark sparkles. "Don't you recognize me?"

"It is you." Catarina said as her gaze on softened. "Carmen. What happened to you? Why are you doing this?"

Carmen hovered in the air and glared a little. "That's princess to you. I know the truth. I know that no one cares about me. The only reason you became friends with me was because you felt sorry."

"That's not true." Catarina said. "You have to listen to me. This isn't like you at all. The Carmen I know wouldn't attack her friends. You have to stop this."

"Lava Beam!" Carmen laughed as she watched Catarina fall to the ground. "You can't stop me."

Catarina cried out in pain and crashed into the ground, turning back to normal. "Carmen."

"What is with these things?" Felicity asked. "Orb of Light!"

"Our attacks aren't working." Rachel said. "We're not even scratching them. Crystal Bolt!"

Abigail winced and fell to her knees. "They're too strong for our magic."

"Then we'll just have to take it up a notch." Rosella said. "Unicorn Rush!"

"Charmix!"

"If we can capture one, we might be able to figure out how to stop them." Felicity said. "Catarina is out. Carmen is gone. We're lacking in power."

"Light Arrow Shower!"

"Where's Daniel?" Rachel asked.

"In the city." Abigail said. "He went to see his brother."

"Light Ray!"

"We could really use his help right now." Rosella said. "We need to separate these things. They are too powerful when they are together."

The girls nodded and flew off in different directions, making sure the warriors split off as well.

"Try to bind it Abigail." Felicity said.

Abigail nodded and turned to face the warrior behind them. "Floral Wreath!"

The warrior broke free from the wreath and shot Abigail with shards of rock.

Abigail cried out in pain and fell to the ground. "It didn't work."

"Try again." Felicity said. "I'll blind it. Light Ray!"

The warrior winced and shielded his eyes.

"Floral Wreath!" The girls relaxed and huffed a little before noticing that the warrior was starting to ignite.

"It's going to burn right through the spell." Felicity said, returning to normal. "We're done for."

Abigail nodded and turned away, returning to normal. "There has to be something we can do."

Rachel cried out in pain as the warrior following her knocked her down with a large boulder. "I can't move." She winced and glared at the beast before her. "Emerald Shot!" The warrior managed to block the attack and pin her with shards of rock, forcing her to return to normal.

"We don't have the power to keep fighting like this." Rosella said, dodging an attack from the third warrior. 'Abby and Felicity have managed to bind one, but it's about to break free. We could capture it if we could find a way to cool it off quickly.' She winced as the warrior punched her into a wall, returning her to normal. "Our magic isn't strong enough."

Abigail closed her eyes, waiting for the warrior to make his move. 'I'm scared. It will be free any second now.'

"Neptune Vortex!" The warrior screeched in pain and fell to the ground.

"You've got a taste of my power." Carmen said as the other two warriors returned to her side. "You won't be so lucky next time. Cross me and I will burn you alive." She laughed as the throne disappeared.

"Daniel." Felicity said. "It took you long enough."

Daniel nodded and landed next to the warrior. "I just got back. You looked like you needed some help. What's the story with this thing? And who was that girl?"

"It's a long story." Catarina said. "At least we managed to capture one of those creatures."

"Are you girls alright?" Alex asked, running up to the Scoutix.

"We have a new enemy." Rosella said.

"What took you so long?" Felicity asked.

"We came to see if you heard anything from Carmen." Gale said. "We had no idea that you were in danger."

Catarina winced and hugged Gale. "It was Carmen."

"What are you talking about?" Gale asked.

"She looks different." Catarina said. "I was able to sense her aura, but it's been twisted. Something happened to her and turned her evil. Nothing I said would get through to her. Carmen severely burned two girls in the face and took another prisoner."

Rachel sighed and shook her head. "I can't believe it. I never thought that we would be fighting a friend."

"What is that?" Zane asked, looking over at the captured warrior.

"Some sort of volcanic warrior." Rachel said. "It's one of three and they are very strong."

Felicity winced and dusted herself off. "None of our attacks worked on them. We had to use our Charmix, but we couldn't even scratch them."

"Are you alright?" Lyon asked, holding Felicity close.

Felicity smiled and nodded. "I'm fine."

"Things would have ended badly if Daniel hadn't of shown up." Abigail said.

Rosella sighed and looked to the sky. "I don't know what's going on, but I do know one thing. Our current fairy level isn't strong enough to defeat these creatures. They were strong enough to completely knock us out of our transformations with a single blow."

"Perhaps it is time for you to earn Enchantix." Faragonda said, walking up behind the fairies.

"Enchantix?" Abigail asked.

"It's one of the higher fairy levels." Catarina said. "It's not only required for us to graduate, but we also need it to reach levels beyond that. I'm just not sure how we all could earn it."

"What do you mean by that Catarina?" Felicity asked.

"In order to obtain Enchantix, you must sacrifice yourself to save someone from your home planet." Faragonda said. "You're journey as fairies has become more difficult. I believe that you all can achieve it."

Rachel sighed and sulked a little. "Will we ever catch a break? We just took down Rangda a month ago and now we're up against our best friend. And on top of that, we have to earn a higher fairy level. It makes my head hurt."

"Were you just imitating Carmen?" Felicity asked, laughing a little.

"Not exactly." Rachel said. "It did kind of sound like her though."

"What are we supposed to do with that thing?" Felicity asked, pointing to the volcanic warrior.

"We'll take it back to Red Fountain." Alex said. "Once we get it locked up, we should be able to figure out what it is."

Catarina nodded and smiled a little. "I'm coming with you. I might be able to see something in it's aura."

"Alright." Gale said. "Zane. Lyon. You two stay here in case more of these things show up. Let's go Cat."

Cat smiled and followed Gale on to the ship while Alex and Colton locked it up. "I just hope that we can figure out how to defeat these creatures."

"Good luck Scoutix." Faragonda said before heading back to her office.

Rachel watched the ship leave before releasing a small sigh. "We should figure out where Carmen is."

"What we need to do is figure out what happened to her." Felicity said. "She wanted Cat to call her princess and she isn't one."

Abigail thought and quickly got an idea. "What if she's possessed by something?"

"If that were the case," Rosella began. "Then she would have some sort of mark to show it."

Red Fountain

"Can you tell anything?" Gale asked, glancing over at Catarina.

Catarina shook her head and sighed a little. "The aura is too twisted. I can't seem to get a good fix on it. If I can't read it's aura, then I can't tell how it came to be or even how to stop it. Either way. Something feels almost familiar about this creature. It's almost as if we've met before."

"We have Carmen, who attacked Alfea for some unknown reason." Gale said. "And then there are these creatures that we can't get a lock on. Not to mention that you and the rest of the Scoutix need to earn a higher fairy level just to be able to fight back."

"Is there anything else we should know about?" Alex asked.

"Rexx and Rave are missing." Helia said, walking over to them. "Along with Ulrik and Draegan."

"What else could happen today?" Colton asked.

"If I was an Enchantix fairy, I could find out more about this creature." Catarina said, looking down a little. "Carmen is hurting and I don't know how to help her."

Gale pulled Catarina close and kissed her forehead. "You'll figure it out Cat."

"Maybe I can help." Daphne said, walking over to Catarina. "Don't blame yourself Catarina. I'm sure that things will work out." She smiled and walked up to the creature. "This is the creature that attacked Alfea."

Catarina nodded, focusing her attention on the creature. "Yes. It's one of three. They didn't even have to use a lot of energy to take us down. Well, I didn't fight any of them. This creature just seems familiar to me."

"Let me see what I can find out." Daphne asked. "Warmth Reveal!" She winced a little as she finished up. "It's not a creature at all. I'm not sure what happened, but this thing is Ulrik."

"How's that possible?" Alex asked.

"It must be whatever magic has overtaken Carmen." Catarina said. "She must be possessed by something. And whatever it is, it has turned her cold."

"Where are the others?" Colton asked. "We obviously found Ulrik. That still leaves Draegan, Rexx, and Rave."

"The creatures." Catarina said. "I bet they were transformed as well. We have to figure out what sort of magic did this."

Daphne nodded and stepped away from the creature. "You said that there were only three creatures. She must have done something different with one of them."

"The tiger." Catarina said.

"What?" Alex asked.

"When I was talking to Carmen, I noticed a tiger beside her." Catarina said. "I didn't think much of it at the time, but I never seen one with such a bright coat. It was a really bright orange."

Alex shook his head and gripped his arm. "Rexx. I bet the tiger is Rexx. It would explain the bright orange fur. Which means that Draegan and Rave are the other creatures."

"Rave wanted to help Rexx." Helia said. "Nothing would have stopped him from going. You know that."

Alex sighed and nodded. "I know. He never did like to listen to anyone."
