~~~~Previously~~~~

Carmen activated the ruins and was sealed away for a month, transforming into its princess. Rave, Rexx, Ulrik, and Draegan arrived at the ruins, only to be transformed into Carmen's new volcanic warriors. Rexx did his best to get through to Carmen, but was transformed into a tiger. Using her new powers, Carmen attacked Alfea and took revenge on the girls that drove her away. During the attack, the Scoutix were defeated. Soon after, they learned that they would have to become Enchantix fairies in order to defeat the volcanic warriors and save Carmen. Daphne used her magic on the captured creature, coming to find that it was really the transformed Ulrik.~~~~

Ruins

The rock containing Angela rose up in front of Carmen and opened up to reveal the fairy. Carmen smiled as the room lit up with lava.

"What are you planning to do to me?" Angela asked.

"Don't worry Angela." Carmen said."When I'm done with you, you'll never feel pain again." She laughed as the rock shifted around Angela and formed large angel wings. "You will be my warrior angel." 'They managed to capture one of my warriors. No matter. I can always make more.'

Alfea

"We've searched the entire library." Rachel said. "There's nothing that helps us break the spell on Ulrik."

Catarina sighed and stood up. "Let's just face it. Nothing here can help us."

"Then perhaps you should search somewhere else." Stella said, walking into the library.

"Where do you suggest?" Rosella asked.

"The Solarian Library might have something." Stella said. "And you would be able to find it a lot faster than you can here."

Catarina smiled and nodded. "Let's go then." She then sent a quick message to Gale and released a small sigh. "I just hope we can find something."

"Some of us should stay here." Rachel said. "In case those creatures come back."

Felicity nodded and stood up. "I'll stay. I'd like to see how much I can help in the infirmary. The burns on those girls don't seem to be fully healed."

"I'll stay too." Abigail said. "Maybe there's a plant that can help with the scarring."

"What about you Daniel?" Catarina asked.

"I'm going to talk to my brother." Daniel said. "Maybe he knows something."

Catarina, Rosella, and Rachel boarded the ship bound for Solaria with Stella and the guys.

"I sure hope we can find a cure in Solaria." Catarina said, looking down a little.

Rosella smiled and walked over to Catarina, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's not your fault Cat. You couldn't have known that this would happen."

"We'll find a way to reverse this curse and save Carmen." Rachel said.

Solaria

"This library is huge." Rachel said.

"How are we supposed to find anything here?" Catarina asked. "It would take us days to go through everything."

"With this." Stella said, pointing at an orb in the center of the room.

"What is this?" Rosella asked.

"You can use this orb to do the searching for you. " Stella said. "It's definitely faster than searching yourself. Just reach out your hand and tell it want to look for."

Rachel shook her head and sighed a little. "We don't even know what to search for."

"Let's start with volcanic curses and cures." Catarina said reaching her hand towards the orb. Within an instant, books and scrolls hovered them. "There's not a whole lot here. It shouldn't take us long to go through all of it."

The girls sat down and started reading through everything. A few hours passed and they still hadn't found anything useful to their situation.

"I've read how to cure lava poisoning, which I didn't know was a thing." Rachel said. "Along with home remedies for burns, scars, and volcanic flu."

Rosella closed her book and shook her head. "I'm not having any luck either. Unless you want to know how to make volcanic soup and pasta."

"I've got something." Catarina said, holding up a scroll. "There's not a lot of information here and some of it seems to be missing. It talks about some cursed ruins, but it doesn't go into anymore detail than that. And I think I found the reverse spell for the curse on Ulrik. The only problem is that it's faded and I can't read it."

Rachel sighed and sulked a little. "That's just great. We find the cure and can't even see what it is."

"There has to be another way." Rosella said. "We can't give up now. Maybe we can restore the scroll somehow."

Catarina smiled and stood up. "That's it. A restore spell. And I just happen to know of one that will work without damaging the scroll."

"Then let's not waste anymore time." Rachel said. "Cast the spell."

Catarina nodded and closed her eyes, focusing on the scroll and ink. "Tenera Restitutio Atramento!"At that moment, the scroll began to glow. Almost instantly, the faded ink started to reveal itself. "It worked."

"What do you we have to do?" Rosella asked.

"We have to gather a few supplies to make a special fairy dust." Catarina said. "Phoenix feather, dragon scales, volcanic ash, rubies, and the nectar of a red flower."

Rachel nodded and wrote down everything they needed. "Sounds easy enough. One more thing. Where do we find all this stuff?"

"The volcanic ash will be easy to get." Catarina said. "We can find that on Zevia along with the flower."

Rosella smiled and stood up. "It shouldn't be too difficult to find a red flower."

"It's not just any red flower Rosella." Catarina said. "We have to go into the heart of the volcano to find. It's a red lava flower and it can only be found around lava."

"What about the rest of the stuff?" Rachel asked.

"We can find the phoenix feather and dragon scales on Domino." Catarina said.

Stella smiled and laid some rubies on the table. "This should get you started."

"Thank you Stella." Catarina said, grabbing the rubies and placing them in a bag.

"Where should we go first?" Rosella asked.

"Let's start off with Domino." Rachel said. "I'll let the others know what we're doing. While we're looking for the feather and scales, they can go after the ash and flower."

Magix City

"Asher." Daniel said, walking into his room.

Asher sat on his bed and looked up when Daniel entered. "Daniel. What are you doing back here?"

"I need your help." Daniel said.

"What's wrong?" Asher asked.

"Carmen." Daniel said. "We think that she's been possessed by something. She attacked Alfea with these volcanic warriors. I was wondering if you knew of anything that might help."

Asher stood up and walked over to the window, closing the curtains before shutting the door. "I was afraid of this."

"Afraid of what?" Daniel asked. "Do you know what's going on?"

"In a way, she's not really possessed by anything." Asher said. "She must have found those ruins."

"What ruins?" Daniel asked.

"There are some ruins hidden deep within the mountains." Asher said. "Ruins of an ancient temple. Before it broke apart, the people of the mountains were forced to worship this lava princess. It became known as the Lava Temple. After being destroyed, it became dormant. Only volcanic magic could have reawakened it. Carmen must have stumbled upon it by accident. Over the years, any information about it was lost. Everyone just forgot about its existence."

"How do we stop it?" Daniel asked.

"The mountain people no longer worship the princess, but they refuse to step foot on the temple ground." Asher said. "I'm not sure how to stop it. The people there believe it to be cursed with the spirit of the first princess."

Daniel nodded and sighed a little. "Carmen uses volcanic magic. It's starting to make sense now. From what I heard, her entire appearance has changed except for her eyes. I guess everyone thought that she was another witch at first."

"Really." Asher said. "Her entire appearance shifted. It's worse than I thought. She has been reborn as the princess. The Carmen you knew is gone."

Daniel shook his head, keeping his gaze on Asher. "I won't believe that. Catarina was able to pick up on her aura, but it was faint."

"Then perhaps there is time to save her." Asher said. "Her eyes didn't change so there's a chance that the real Carmen is sealed away somewhere."

Daniel took a seat on the bed and looked down. "The magic she's using is too powerful. According to Faragonda, we have to become Enchantix fairies."

"How powerful?" Asher asked.

"She made Catarina revert back to her normal form with a single blow." Daniel said. "The same thing happened to the others while fighting her volcanic warriors."

Asher sighed and stepped away from the window. "She's transforming people into her servants."

"It turns out that the creatures are Ulrik, Draegan and Rave." Daniel said. "According to Catarina, Rexx is now a tiger."

Asher opened the curtains and walked to the door. "How do you know?"

"Daphne." Daniel said. "She was able to use her magic to see Ulrik within one of the creatures. Those four were together, so it makes sense."

Asher opened the door and turned his attention to Daniel. "Don't let your guard down. The princess is worse than anyone you have been up against. If I'm right, she intends to steal happiness from everyone."

"How could something like that be possible?" Daniel asked.

"That's one of the secrets of the temple." Asher said. "It has the power to take any emotion the princess wants from people. Just be careful brother."

Daniel nodded and stood up, heading towards the door. "Thank you Asher. You've been a great help."

"It's the least I can do after what I've done." Asher said, looking down a little.

Daniel looked down and stopped next to Asher. "You could help us. We could use your strength."

"You know I can't." Asher said. "Whenever I'm around fairies, I can feel that other part of me coming back. I'm fine around you because you're my brother, but I can't be around a group of fairies."

Daniel placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "You're stronger than the person you used to be. You helped us defeat Rangda. Look. There's nothing you can do to become a fairy, but you can still help them. Just think about it alright."

Asher nodded and watched as Daniel left. 'Help fairies. I still have nightmares about what I did to them. I just can't risk that happening again.'

Alfea

Daniel walked through the gate, keeping his gaze on the ground. 'Asher. You're stronger than you realize. I know you can defeat your inner demons.'

"Are you alright Daniel?" Felicity asked.

Daniel looked up and nodded. "I'll be fine. I just had an interesting talk with my brother. How are things here?"

"It's been quiet." Abigail said.

Felicity smiled and looked at the sky. "We managed to fully heal those girls. Healing their pride is another story. It's something they won't ever forget."

"I found out what's going on." Daniel said. "Carmen has been reborn as some lava princess. She plans on stealing everyone's happiness."

Abigail shivered a little and grasped her arms. "That's horrible."

"We can let the others know on the way." Felicity said.

"Where are we going?" Daniel asked.

"Zevia." Abigail said. "Catarina found a way to break the spell on Ulrik. He might be able to shed some light on things."

Daniel nodded and followed the girls on to the ship. "What are we looking for exactly?"

"Just some volcanic ashes and lava flower nectar." Felicity said.

"Is it just us then?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah." Colton said. "The others are going to Domino to get the other things we need. They thought it would best for us to split up."

Lyon smirked and flew off towards Zevia. "You should be happy to have me as a pilot."

Felicity giggled a little and relaxed. "Definitely. I just hope that we don't run into trouble."

Domino

"I can't believe we're at the castle." Rachel said, taking in every detail.

Catarina smiled and looked around. "Bloom happens to be here. She's going to help us find what we need and we even get to stay at the castle while we're here."

"We're staying here in the castle." Rachel said as her eyes completely lit up.

Zane chuckled a little and released a small sigh. "I think someone is a little excited."

"I just really love Domino." Rachel said, shoving Zane a little.

Rosella laughed as they walked inside. "It's beautiful."

"You made it." Bloom said, walking over to them.

Rachel looked around, almost as if she was in some sort of trance. "Wow."

"Is Rachel alright?" Bloom asked.

"She's fine." Catarina said. "She's just really happy to be here. You said you could help us."

Bloom nodded and held out a small case of dragon scales. "I just happen to know of a dragon that was more than happy to give you some of his scales."

"Thank you." Catarina said, taking the case and placing it in her bag. "All that's left now is to find a phoenix feather."

Rachel snapped out of her daze and curled into Zane. "I'm good now."

Bloom laughed a little as she watched Rachel. "There are some phoenix nests not too far from here. You should rest before we go there."

They all nodded and followed Bloom to their rooms. Once Rachel was further inside the castle, she became dazed once more.

Catarina glanced over at Rosella and looked down a little. 'There has to be a way.'

"Are you alright Catarina?" Bloom asked. "You seem down."

"We need to become Enchantix fairies, but I'm worried about Rosella and Felicity." Catarina said. "They are both from Revia."

Bloom nodded and smiled a little. "I see. There are other ways to earn Enchantix. And there's still the chance that there are other Revians out there somewhere. I'm sure that everything will work out fine. You're also worried about Carmen."

"Yes." Catarina said. "I can still sense her, but nothing I said could help her. Not even Rexx could get through to her and now he's literally her pet. I have no idea what to do."

Bloom placed a hand on her shoulder and smiled even more. "You'll figure this out. You all will. Even when things get tough, the bond you have with each other will shine through. Just believe in yourself. Besides, you've got plenty of allies that will help you along the way."

Catarina smiled and walked off to her room, laying down on the bed. 'Bloom is right. I'm not the only one in this fight.'

Zevia

"We're here." Lyon said. "And there's the volcano." They landed at the base of the volcano and exited the ship.

Daniel looked at the volcano and sighed a little. "Time to go inside a volcano. Yeah. We should definitely go for the flower first. Although, I'm not sure if my magic will be enough to protect us from the heat."

"If Carmen were here, she would dive right in without a second thought." Felicity said.

Abigail smiled and looked down a little. "It's a shame that we have to fight against her. It shouldn't be like this. We're friends."

"We'll save her Abby." Colton said. "I promise."

Abigail nodded and hugged Colton. "Thank you Colton. Why don't we split up? That way we can get what we need a lot faster. I'll go with Daniel and Colton to get the nectar."

"That leaves us with the ash." Felicity said, looking at Lyon. "Be careful."

Abigail, Colton, and Daniel made their way into the volcano and looked around for the flower.

"This heat is intense." Colton said.

Daniel nodded and formed a clear barrier of water around them. "This will keep us cool, but I won't be able to keep it up for long."

Abigail smiled, taking notice to a single flower near the lava. "There it is. We just have to collect the nectar and then we can get out of here."

"Watch your step Abby." Colton said, watching as Abigail moved down to get the nectar.

Abigail winced a little due to the intense heat. "I got it." She then handed the vial to Daniel before trying to climb up herself.

Lava Temple

"What are you three doing?" Carmen asked, watching them using a lava mirror. "You're in the wrong territory Abigail. Draegan. Bring Abigail to me."

Draegan bowed and disappeared in the lava.

"This should be fun." Carmen said.

"What do you plan on doing with her?" Volcana asked.

"You'll just have to wait and see." Carmen said, chuckling a little.

Zevia

"Let's get out of here." Colton said. "This heat is too much."

Abigail nodded and took another step as the rock below her collapsed, causing her fall to a platform floating on the lava. The fall managed to knock her unconscious. 'What's going on?'

"Abby?!" Colton called out, trying to make his way down to her. When he started to step down, the rock started to crumble once more.

Daniel grabbed on to Colton and pulled him back. "The rock is unstable. You won't do her any good by getting hurt or worse."

"I have to do something." Colton said.

Daniel released Colton and transformed, watching as the platform Abigail was on break loose. "The heat is too intense. You'll burn up before you can get to her. I'll fly down and see what I can do. I need you to find a place for us to get up."

Colton nodded and watched Daniel fly down towards Abigail. 'There.' He took notice to some rock formations that looked that stairs. 'They seem to be sturdy enough. Now I can get down there.' Without hesitation, he quickly descended and waited for Abigail to get close. "Over here Daniel!"

Daniel winced a little, feeling the heat from the lava. "I can't get close to her. The heat is too much for me." Before he could do anything else, he was knocked into the volcano wall from a punch. "What was that?"

Draegan stood on the platform with Abigail and threw her over his shoulder.

"Let her go!" Colton called out.

Daniel regained his composure and flew down towards Draegan. 'I'm willing to bet that this is Draegan.' "Expanding Water Bolts!"

Draegan smirked and blocked the attack, shooting rock shards at Daniel.

Daniel winced and shielded himself. "Aqua Shield!"

"I can't stand here and do nothing." Colton said, summoning his javelin. "Let's see how you handle this. Light Javelin Burst!" He then threw the javelin towards Draegan, only to have it knocked away. "My attacks can't get through."

"Neptune Vortex!"

Draegan winced and roared at Daniel. Within seconds, volcanic rock shot out and wrapped around Daniel.

Daniel winced and struggled to break free. "I can't get free. It's too strong."

Draegan chuckled a little and jumped up on the pathway with Abigail. "Flower fairy is mine."

"I won't let you." Colton said, running towards Draegan.

Draegan smirked and sent Colton flying out of the volcano unconscious. With that, he disappeared within the rock.

"No." Daniel said, looking down a little. "Looks like I'm stuck here." He winced and returned to normal, falling unconscious.

Felicity collected the ash in a pouch and landed beside Lyon. "There we go. That wasn't so bad."

"Because you can fly." Lyon said, chuckling a little. "Let's hope that the others were successful."

Felicity smiled before taking notice to Colton falling out of the sky. "Colton." Without hesitation, she flew up and caught him. 'I can't hold us both up like this. I can handle a fall from this height, but Colton can't. There's only one thing I can do.' She then positioned herself to where she would hit the ground first, giving Colton a way to break his fall. 'This is going to hurt, but it's nothing I can't handle.'

"Felicity?! Colton?!" Lyon called out, running over to them. "Are you alright."

Colton slowly opened his eyes and looked around, moving away from Felicity. "I'm fine. Felicity."

Felicity winced and smiled. "I couldn't let you get hurt. It was better for me to break your fall. You would have been seriously injured or worse if I hadn't of done that." At that moment, Felicity was engulfed in light. 'I feel so warm. What's happening?'

"Felicity." Lyon said, shielding his eyes from the light.

When the light faded, Felicity had longer hair and her entire outfit had changed. The outfit itself consisted of a single strap dress with a ruffled skirt that was silver and blue in color. On her arms were light blue opera length gloves and sky blue barefoot sandals were on her legs. In her hair was a light blue and silver pearl headpiece. Around her neck was a bottle full of fairy dust. Her wings were large, colored light blue and silver with blue pearls hanging off and covered in glitter. As for her hair, it parted to one side with a few strands over her left eye and grew past her waste.

"What is this?" Felicity asked, looking herself up and down.

"By sacrificing yourself to save me, you earned your Enchantix." Colton said. "There's no time to waste now. Daniel is trapped inside the volcano."

Felicity nodded and flew inside the volcano. "Daniel." She took notice to the unconscious Daniel and flew down beside him. "He's out cold. It must be from the heat. Hold on Daniel. Shining Aura!" The spell struck the rock, releasing Daniel and causing him to fall. "I got you." She quickly caught him and flew back to Lyon and Colton.

"Is he alright?" Colton asked.

"He's just unconscious." Felicity said, laying Daniel on the ground.

"What are those marks on his arms?" Lyon asked, taking notice to how much Daniel was sweating.

"It's worse than I thought." Felicity said. "The rock he was trapped in must have had some sort of poison factor it. I'll have to work fast. Healing Ray!"

Daniel winced and slowly opened his eyes as he healed. "Felicity. What happened to you?"

"Where's Abigail?" Colton asked.

Daniel looked down and shook his head. "She's gone. I'm sorry that I couldn't save her."

"He was too strong for both of us." Colton said.

Lyon helped Daniel up and on to the ship. "We should go now."

"Did you get the nectar?" Felicity asked. "As for what happened to me, I got my Enchantix."

"It's in my pocket." Daniel said, trying to smile a little. "It would seem that you're the first of us to become a Enchantix fairy."

Felicity smiled as they left Zevia. "I hope the others are doing well."

"I'm sure they're fine." Daniel said. "They did go to Domino after all."

Lava Temple

Draegan appeared with Abigail and laid her down in front of Carmen before joining Rave.

Carmen smiled, keeping her gaze on Abigail. "Wake up Abby."

Abigail slowly opened her eyes and looked. "Where am I? Carmen."

"This is my temple nature girl." Carmen said. "What should I do with you?"

Abigail winced and tried to sit up. "Where's Angela Carmen?"

"No one said you could speak." Carmen said as a string of lava wrapped around Abigail's mouth. "Much better. I wouldn't suggest struggling. The lava will only burn you."

'What do I do?' Abigail thought. 'I have to get out of here somehow.'
