News of the Owl Lady's escape from the Emperor's Castle and the human's incarceration there spread through Bonesborough like wildfire. From the forest where the Bat Queen lives in order to protect discarded palismen from the Emperor to Blight Manor where the Abomination weaponry manufacturing Blight Industries is located to Hexside's School of Magic and Demonics where students go to access their full magical potential to become the best kind of witches they can be.

Reactions of Luz's capture were mixed. People like the former prisoners of the Conformatorium felt bad that Luz was now experiencing the same imprisonment that they did before the human helped them escape, while others like Warden Wrath felt that the human was finally getting what she deserved for associating with Boiling Isles' most wanted criminal.

When Willow and Gus heard of the news of their human friend being captured they immediately went the Owl House to get some the inhabitants there.

When Hooty saw the two approach, he stretched out to greet them.

"Hey, Willow, hey Gus. If you're looking for Luz, she isn't here, hoot, hoot." The owl said saddened.

"We know." Willow said, wanting to get into the house but not wanting to be rude. 'We just want to hear it from Eda and King cause we don't believe it."

"Hooty, sorry but we don't have time to interact with you." Gus said, too panicky to deal with the owl's annoying antics at the moment. "Can you please let us in?"

"I'm sorry but I'm not allowed to." Hooty explained. "Eda's having a meltdown and King and Lilth are trying to calm her down. She told me not to let anyone in, hoot, hoot.

"Wait, Lilth?" Gus asked in surprise. "She's here?"

"Wasn't she Belos' right hand witch?" Willow said in shock. "Why is she here?"

Hooty, noticing the killer looks in their eyes, quickly spoke up before things escalated. "Wait, wait, before you two try anything, you should know that she betrayed Belos to save Eda!" Hearing that caused the two to calm themselves a little before they did something reckless.

Just then, the two teens saw a chair crash through one of the windows as a beastly roar was heard from inside the house.

Seconds later, King could be heard shouting "Eda, calm down, this isn't helping!" before the tiny demon himself was flung out of one of the other windows and crash landed in front of the three.

King groaned as he rubbed his head before looking up at Willow, Gus and Hooty. "Willow, Gus, what are you two doing here?"

"King, be honest with us." Willow said as she got down on one knee to properly talk to the little demon. "Was Luz really captured by Emperor Belos?"

"Well," King hesitated a bit before answering. "She was." He revealed causing the two to gasp in shock. "But she didn't have a choice, Belos was going to kill Eda, me and Lilth and attack the Human Realm using the portal that Luz came through but she couldn't let him use it so she destroyed it. But we were surrounded by a lot of the Emperor's guards so Luz sacrificed herself so that me, Lilth and Eda could escape."

The four could hear sounds of a ruckus going on as well some shouting could be heard among the chaos going on inside the house.

"I'M LIKE THIS BECAUSE OF YOU!"

"I know, and I'm sorry!"

"SORRY DOESN'T RESCUE LUZ FROM THAT BONEHEADED BELOS, NOW DOES IT?!"

"Now-now, sister. Let's not do anything we might regret.

"A LITTLE TOO LATE FOR THAT, LILY, DON'T YA THINK?!"

Sounds of someone getting the tar beaten out of them could be heard from outside.

"Oh boy, Hooty we better get back in there!" King said.

"Let us help." Gus suggested. "We should be able to restrain her."

"No, absolutely not!" King denied instantly. "You do NOT want to be in Eda's cross hairs when she's like this."

Before both of Luz's friends could protest, they saw Lilth get thrown through the giant glass window and land on the ground in front of the four in heap. The four cringed upon seeing her form, she had scratches and bite marks on her arms and a bunch of bruises on her face. Her Coven uniform had been torn asunder and her right eye was black and swollen.

"Ugh!" Lilth groaned out before she saw her sister land in front of her.

Gus and Willow gasped at the elder witch's appearance. While they have heard of Eda's curse from Luz, seeing it in person for the first time was horrifying. Eda was like a giant owl like monster with gray fur covering everything but with her enraged face on it.

"Eda?" Willow asked as she cautiously took a step towards the cursed woman.

Hearing her name being caused him to snap out of her single minded rage as Eda looked at Willow and Gus. "Willow, Goops? What are you two doing here?"

"Trying to get some answers." Gus said. "Was what King said true, did Luz really sacrifice herself to save all of you?"

Upon having been asked that question, Eda felt her eyes begin to tear up as she turned away from the two as she silently cried to herself, knowing that she failed her apprentice-

No!

...her friend by allowing herself to get captured and giving the Hexside students the answer that they need.

But her sorrow soon turned back to rage as glared at Lilth again, with the intent to kill. "And it's your FAULT!"

She pounced at her prey but before she could finish off her, large vines sprouted from the ground and wrapped around the beastly Eda, pinning her to the ground. Just then, a bunch of muscly demonic illusions all dog-piled on top of the pinned beast, making sure that she stays pinned down.

"Let me go!" Eda demanded as she struggled against the vines and illusions.

"Eda, I know you're angry. But killing Lilth won't help." The pudgy witch said.

"It'll make me feel better!" Eda retorted. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip her to shreds!"

"She might have useful information on Belos or any of his plans." Gus said as stood between the beast and the injured Lilth. "Besides, Luz wouldn't want you to do this. So please calm down and think for a second."

Hearing Willow and Gus' cases caused Eda to stop her struggling and think for a bit. They raised some good points. Letting her older sister live might work out for them, considering the she's worked for the Emperor's Coven for most of her life since she was young so she's bound to know something.

Besides what Gus said was true. Luz wouldn't want her to do this.

So, she take a few deep breaths and calmed her nerves.

"Okay, okay, you guys are right." Eda said as she calmed down.

Seeing that she's now calmed down, Willow made the vines retreat back into the ground as Gus made the illusions disappear, allowing the beastly Eda to stand once more.

King began to help Lilth up, who was barely able to stand without help. As Hooty assisted her, Eda spoke.

"If you don't want to end up in a body bag. I suggest you start talking." Eda said, coldly, making King, Willow, Hooty and Gus have chills run down their spines.

Lilth just nodded as she limped over to her transformed sister. "Just at least let me do something that I should've done a long time ago." She then placed her hands on her sister's face and placed their foreheads together. "With this spell declared, let this pain be shared."

Just then, a blue glow of magic envelops both Lilith and Beast Eda as they begin to float. Their gems glow as Willow and Gus cover their eyes as King cover Hooty's eyes as he closes his own to shield them from the light.

After a few seconds, the light dies down as everyone opens their eyes. And they were surprised by what they saw,

Eda was back to her normal form but with one noticeable difference. One of her eyes was now gray. One of Lilth's eyes was also gray too.

"What did you do?" Gus said.

"I now shared part of the curse with Edalyn, young one." Lilth said. "This should hopefully begin my atonement for what I have done."

Eda continued to glare at her before sighing. "Well, just because you restored my form doesn't mean I forgive you so easily. I hope you know that." Lilth hung her head in shame before she felt Eda lay a hand on her shoulder, looking up she saw the cursed witch smile a little. "But... this is a good start."

Lilth smiled back at her. "This is the time for me to redeem myself, I have to make sure I don't mess this up." The now cursed Lilth thought to herself.

With all the crazy twists and turns the first half of Season 2 has given us, I'm debating of whether I should include them as they are or include them but have them be included differently. Anyways, stay tuned for the next chapter where trying to come up with a plan to rescue Luz is commenced as a certain green haired witch makes her debut in this story.
