Amity and her siblings were speed walking fast through Bonesborough to get to Viney's house so that the healer can fix the former's leg with her magic. Along the way, the three were just talking about what they thought of Luz getting captured by Belos and how they resolve to find a way to rescue her.

Hopefully, they won't have to do it with just the three of them.

Speaking of Viney, she was just opening her door and stepped outside her house as well as she was just trying to get her mind off of her human friend getting captured by the Isles' most powerful witch. Unknown to the rest of Luz's friends aside from Barcus and Jerbo, she too refused to sit back and let the human stay incarcerated in the castle. She wanted to rescue her friend as well, but she didn't have a plan but she refused to give up.

As the witches were dealing with their own thoughts on the matter at hand, what they didn't know was that they were about to collide with one another.

As Viney left her yard, her mind was plagued with thoughts of what the Emperor could possibly be doing to Luz.

As she was thinking these horrifying thoughts, she accidentally bumped into Edric, which caused her to fall backwards onto the ground and caused Edric to stumble back a bit.

"Ow!" The teenager witch groaned.

Edric held out a hand to her. "Oh, sorry about that. I should have watched where I was going."

Looking up, Viney saw the Blight trio as she took Edric's hand and he helped her up.

"No, it's okay." The healer said. "I was distracted by thinking too. Nice to see you guys again."

As she looked at Emira, she couldn't help but blush she stared at her beautiful face... as red as it was getting.

As Emira looked at Viney, she began to blush up a storm as she found herself unable to speak as she gazed at her beauty.

Not wanting to laugh at her sister crushing on her schoolmate and realizing that they are wasting time, Amity cleared her throat, causing their own little world to break apart like glass.

"Ahem, not to sound a jerk." Amity began. "But the more time we waste, the less time Luz has before the Emperor..." She stopped as she couldn't bare to finish that thought.

"Oh, right. Sorry." Emira said, clearly embarrassed that her budding feelings for the bad girl was not improving the situation as every second counted. So she thought of her words as she spoke them. "V-Viney, we were... wondering if... you can heal our sister's leg... considering that you're in the healing track... now..."

"Oh, sure thing." The former detention track student said. "J-Just put her on the ground and I'll fix her l-leg as best I can."

Edric quickly yet gently helped Amity off his sister's back as he placed her on to the ground in front of Viney. Without wasting anymore time, Viney cleared her mind as she closed her eyes and drew a white circle.

The magical circle sprinkle its magic that went through the cast and began the healing process. As Amity felt her leg began to get repaired and healed up, she couldn't help but grunt a bit in pain. She knew it was going to hurt because of the magic replacing the shattered bone fractures in her leg, but still, she wasn't prepared for how much she was hurt before getting better.

After a few more seconds, the circle disappeared.

"That should do it, try to walk Amity." Viney suggested.

Cautiously taking a step on her now healed leg, Amity felt relieved that her leg was no longer hurting.

"Feels good. Thank you Viney." The now healed Amity thanked the healer.

"No problem." She shrugged. "Hey, are you guys headed to Luz's house by any chance?"

"Yup, you too?" Edric said. "Want to help rescue Luz too, don't you?"

"Of course, I'll contact Barcus and Jerbo on the way there." Viney said, pulling out her scroll and beginning to walk. "Hopefully, they'll gonna be meeting us there."

With the healing track student now joining them and two more witches now getting contacted, the four teens began to run as fast as they could to the Owl House. Hopefully, the time they spent healing Amity's leg and recruiting Viney (and letting her contact her two friends) wasn't wasted.

Following the Blight's lead, Viney and the three siblings managed to make it to the Owl House in only in a matter of minutes. Upon arrival, they were shocked at the sight of it with the broken windows and torn off door as they saw Eda, Lilth, Willow, Gus, King and Hooty talking to each other. They're have to ask about that later as Viney and the Blights walked up to them.

"Hey!" Amity called out to the group, gaining their attention.

"Amity? Viney? Edric and Emira too?" Willow said in surprise as she wasn't expecting her to not to show up. "What are you-"

"Sorry to interrupt but I heard about Luz! Is it true?" Amity interrupted. "Did she really..."

"Yes." Gus simply said in sadness as he felt tears appear in his eyes. "And we need to figure out how to rescue her as soon as possible!"

"Gus is right!" King said in agreement pumping his fist into the air. "The longer we stand around, the less time Luz has left alive!"

"Look you two," Eda began as she got down on a knee as she placed a comforting hand on the witch's shoulder as she addressed the both of them. "As much as I am loving your determination to get Luz back as much as the rest of us do, we need to be smart about how we go about this. This isn't our usual day to day heist, this is Belos we're talking about."

"Eda? Smart?" King asked as he began to laugh. "You sure you're okay, Eda?" He began to laugh again, only to receive a rather hard bonk to head, courtesy of Eda and her staff. "Ow!"

"Don't get too callous with me. I may have lost my magic but I'm still capable of hurting you." The witch said with an annoyed expression on her face.

"Anyway." Viney cut in before the two could argue pointlessly "You guys got any ideas of how to rescue her?"

"Well, that's where we are currently." Lilth said, walking in between the two groups. "We all have different ideas." She gestured to Willow. "Willow wants to try and go under the castle and rescue hu- I mean... Luz, but I told her that's going to be a really difficult endeavor considering the head of the Plant Coven has the underground of the castle completely guarded with the millions of seeds planted into that are like explosives." She then gestured to Gus. "Augustus wanted to attack the castle with an army of illusions but I told him that wasn't going to be possible considering the head witch of the Illusion Coven can manipulate the area around the castle to his will, manipulating the minds of even the most skilled of witches."

"And me and King wanted to attack the castle directly but I can't do my magic like I use to now for... reasons I'm not gonna delve into." Eda said, gesturing to her gray eye. "And neither can Lilth for the same reasons that I can't."

Amity was confused by what she meant and wanted to ask, by judging by the look Eda was giving, she decided not to and decided to take her word for it.

"So what do you think we should do?" Willow asked the four.

Amity began to think about what she should say. "Hmm, well it's tough to say. Attacking the Emperor's castle is probably the toughest thing anyone can do. And the fact that he also has the other 9 Coven leaders and not to mention, Warden Wrath and his guards backing him up just makes things almost impossible."

"Emphasis on almost." Hooty said.

Emira then spoke up. "I think we can agree that if we attack Belos' castle now as we are, we're gonna die." She then turned to Eda. "So, Eda. Do you have any old friends lurking in the shadows that can back us up in any possible way?"

Eda put a finger under her chin as she began to think on who would assist her in her really desperate time of need. There were just so many to call upon.

Her first thought was the Bat Queen considering she still owed the Owl House crew a favor. Maybe it was time to cash in on said favor, and considering that Lilth told her and the others that Belos had been consuming palismen for an unknown reason prior to the Blight siblings and Viney's arrival, having her as well as her vast wealth will certainly help as the Owl Lady was certain without a doubt that the giant bat would not stand for this type of abuse and cruelty of her fellow palismen, considering that she houses and protects them when they enter her forest. However the problem, was that she didn't know how long it was going to take to for her to get to her place and back. And in dire situations like this, every second counted.

Another potential candidate that may help was Principal Bump and maybe some of the other Hexside staff, as this would boost their numbers significantly. However, the problem there was that, aside from Bump, most of the staff kinda still held grudges against Eda for when she was a student at the aforementioned school and considering what they were up against, they probably wouldn't want to fight the Emperor's Coven anyway out of fear of potentially dying to them. (An admittedly justified fear, but still fear nonetheless). But maybe Lilth can persuade them to support them considering that she was the "better" student when she went there, better academically of course.

Another choice of help that came to the Owl Lady's mind were the former Conformatourium prisoners that she, Luz and King helped free. That option had it's pros and cons too. The con was that they were afraid of getting captured by the Conformatourium guards and locked up again. Other the other hand, the pro was that Luz was responsible for their escape as well as giving them a passionate speech on how being weird also makes them awesome and gave them the courage to fight for their right to be themselves no matter what anyone says. But the problem there was that when Belos announced that he captured the human girl and he will have Warden Wrath and his guards round up anyone who attempts to either rebel against him or try to rescue her or both, they must've went into hiding as there were posters of various "criminals" all over the city which included them as well as the Owl Lady herself and the captured Luz, so they had no time to search the streets of Bonesborough or the rest of the Isles for them. On the other hand, they could probably be walking the streets right now stocking on food, but in disguise. So maybe she or King might run into them by chance.

The last one was a possibility and he probably will help... but the problem was that she never saw him after that faithful day. But what if he hated her for what happened between them? What if he didn't want anything to do with her because of it?

Eda instantly banished those kind of thoughts from her head as thinking negatively like that wasn't going to help. Right now, she needed to bring her A game if she wanted to rescue Luz.

Finally after what seem like forever, the Owl Lady responded. "Well, I have lots of them, but for the sake of perserving time, we just need a few, like a hand full. I have some suggestions but the problem is that due to fearful power and magical backing of that old bone head and his stupid Coven, who's going to rise up and help us out in our desperate hour?"

"Well, it depends who you're suggesting." King pointed out. "And we're going to need as much help as possible in order to pull this off."

"Agreed." Eda said. "I was going to suggest the Bat Queen as she still owes me a favor but going to her place will take too much time."

"Wait, Eda! Why don't you take me and Gus to the Bat Queen?" Willow spoke up. "We can help vouch for her help."

Owlbert than hooted, signifying that notion to want to fly them to the forest of Palismen.

"Wait, no kidding?" Amity said in surprise to Gus, Willow and Owlbert. "All three of you seen the Bat Queen?"

"Yeah, I was slightly traumatized during the whole ordeal." Gus said with a smile. "And it was way better than the Grudgby game that happened that day."

"So that's how Owlbert got hurt." Eda thought to herself, now knowing the truth. "Well at least Luz learned her lesson about taking my staff without permission and this is coming from the most wanted criminal on the Boiling Isles." She then spoke. "I guess that can work. But we still need a bit more than that, and so, against my better judgement, maybe some people at Hexside might want to help us, like Bump and maybe some students." She then turned to Lilth. "So Lilth, I think you should go see if you can recruit them, if you can that is."

Lilth nodded. "Well, I don't know if I will get everyone but I'll do what I can."

"Maybe, just get who you can and don't mess it up." Eda said rather harshly before turning to the rest of the Blight siblings and Viney. "Green haired trio, beast healer, I want you to go with my sister as backup."

"Okay?" Amity said as she was just as confused as the other three were as to Eda's rather harsh tone to her sister, but figured that there going to find out the reason why soon enough.

"The next one are those Conformatourium prisoners that me, King and Luz freed." Eda said with a heavy sigh. "But that's going to be hard as I have no idea where they are. Haven't seen much of them since their escape." Eda then blushed a bit. "The last one, I haven't seen him in a really long time. I don't even know if he's still alive."

Lilth placed a hand on Eda's shoulder, instantly knowing who her sister is talking about. "I am pretty sure that he is, sister. He is a tough witch if I recall."

Hearing this caused the Owl Lady to smile. "Thanks for the consolation, Lily. I just wish I had the time to really appreciate it."

King then spoke up. "Wait, so if Lilth, the Blights and their plus one are going to get help from Hexside and you, Gus and Willow are going to see the Bat Queen, where does that leave me and Hooty? Surely you don't expect us to clean up..." He then waved a paw at the mess. "All of this."

"Of course not, I think you two can try to find those prisoners we freed." Eda said, crouching down to the small demon's level. "But be discrete about it. Don't let anyone see you two."

Upon hearing that, Hooty let out an excited "Hoot!" as he stretched himself inside to... make himself portable.

As Hooty was... doing that, Willow spoke up. "So we're really doing this?"

"You know we are, Flower Power." Eda said as she summoned her staff with Owlbert. "Hop on you two, the sooner we get this done, the closer we'll get to rescue Luz."

Willow and Gus got on the staff as Lilth, the Blight trio and Viney ran towards the city as King went to Hooty, who was now portable.

"Ready, King." Hooty said from his house like backpack.

The small demon placed him around his shoulders sercuely. "Alright, Hooty. We got prisoners to recruit! You with me?"

"Of course!" The owl said excited. "For Luz!"

"For Luz and the downfall of Belos!" King countered as he ran on all fours away from the Owl House as the two chanted, "For Luz!" and "To the downfall of Belos!"
