Chapter 11 Tokyo

The school bus comes to a halt and young Conan quickly wakes up. Together he and Haibara escape the bus unnoticed. Their eyes widen at the view of the city and the sheer number of people. It was the afternoon and school has already ended. Conan and Haibara (still in their disguises) then ask a student getting off the bus where is the nearest public restroom. From there they were kindly guided to the park. Conan put on a façade of an ignorant child but when the person looked away he would glare and wonder why this person is being so kind.

Once the student left Conan let out a sigh and Haibara visible relaxed. They walk into the public bathroom where they quickly remove their twin disguises and began to form their new persona looks. Martini decided that 'Conan' would be half foreigner due to his uncommon blue eyes and preceded to dyes his hair to a blond color as Haibara dyes her hair from a red blond to a dirty blond. Conan then proceeds to cut Haibara hair short(after Haibara saw his work on the wig) and give himself his older hairstyle he had when he was younger instead of just grooming it all back like he had when he was in the organization.

"Okay now we have our new looks we need to go to an ATM to withdraw money for a hotel and afterward get two laptops." Conan states

Haibara frowns and replies "Who in their right minds will sell a laptop to a child? Why not go to the library to create our new identities?"

"Ah Haibara this is where you are wrong. Since you were not one of the hackers for the organization you do not know that each and every public library computer in Japan is in some way connected to the computers in the syndicate. So if I try to hack and create a new identity it will immediately be altered by the group located in Russia. How do you think we know when one of the members was planning on escaping the syndicate?" Haibara eyes widen at the fact

"-A laptop on the other hand is more difficult for the organization to monitor. And who said we will waltz in and buy a laptop? We are going to break into a technology store and grab two laptops. Don't fret I plan to pay the store back for them after we are able to get more money and it will be easy to break in." Conan says offhand.

"How is breaking into a technology store going to be easy?" she retorts back.

Conan ignores her question and leaves the restroom. "Hey!" Haibara yells and runs to Conan who is currently looking for an atm, looking out of members, and glaring at people staring at him.

Together they find an atm and Conan pulls out a credit card. It was one of the many 'gifts' that Vermouth also packed into his bag besides the air vent diagram. The items Vermouth packed were a credit card, bullets, and a metal necklace which hung a structure polymer composite flash drive (which Conan currently has around his neck).

PLEASE ENTER YOUR PASSWORD. Flashed on the screen and Conan mentally face palmed himself. 'How could I forget that these machines require a password?'

"So Conan do you have any idea what it could be?" Haibara question him as she looked for any people that may have seen them.

Conan them thought of multiple password the organization used but Vermouth gave it to him so all passwords the organization uses is unlikely to be the password needed. After a couple of minutes of silence while Conan thought of the password he then reach to push in the letters.

The ATM then flashed the word accepted and continued with the question of how much you want to withdraw. Conan then withdraws 10,000 yen (around 100 dollars) and then jumps of the machine after he grabs the money. He then grabs the credit card and throw it way in the trash after wiping his fingerprints off.

"Why did you throw away the credit card? I know that Vermouth may be monitoring our buys but 10,000 yen is not enough. Also what was the password?" Haibara asks.

With a frown Conan faces Haibara " The password was Silver-bullet. And I threw away then card for two reasons: One because I hate that she might know where we are and two is because it already served its purpose. I'm hoping we can find your sister very quickly. Now I need to make a call to a hotel."

Haibara face scrunch up in confusion but followed Conan to a phone booth. Closing the door behind her she hears Conan punch in numbers to a hotel. He clears he voice and Haibara eyebrows rises upward as Conan speaks in a women's voice. "Hello I'm calling to reserve a room to your hotel. Yes, my last name is Kazami. I will send my two children with the payment to the front desk. Arigatou."

Conan feels Haibara staring at him and speaks out loud "I can't do deep male voices because my vocal cords are still developing. Now let's go to the Tenjyu city hotel. While you rest and check the hotel room I will go get the laptops."

"Wait do you not need my help to break in?"

Conan gives Haibara a cold stare "Haibara you may not have known this but I am the person that help make the organization crimes untraceable. This won't be my first time doing a solo break in either. I will just think of it like a field mission. Come on let's go."

He grabs her hand and they make their way to the hotel. They receive little stares and pay the front desk 8,000 yen. Conan and Haibara enter the room and conan immediately grabs a small bag inside the backpack. "Order room service if you're hungry I will be back with the technology." With a nod from Haibara he leaves the hotel room.

Alone Haibara allows herself to break down. She cries out of happiness for her freedom and the future that she will have with her sister, and she weeps in fright that they will be discovered and the loneliness that Conan may leave her. It may be true that she trust Conan but she still fear to be alone. Calming herself down her stomach grumbles and she orders room service. After eating she craws on the bed and falls asleep.

Yeah sort of a bad chapter but just wait the next one will have more action and hopefully be better.

Thank you assassin8 for your review. Yeah as I look back at the twin thing I may just change it later on. the purpose of the flashback is it is more of a forshadowing to vermouth background story
