Another chapter? Yes, of course! To those of you still reading, thank you for the support! We've made it to 10 chapters too (something I wasn't sure I'd reach lol)! I understand the events at the end of the last chapter may have left you a little confused except it was needed for this one!
Disclaimer: This chapter has mentions of exploitation of vulnerable people. If this is something you don't feel comfortable with, I suggest you skip the second half of this chapter and read the next.
What was she doing?
What was the point of this? Was this supposed to make her feel better? Cleanse all the lies she had told? It was an attempt, to say the least.
She couldn't put a finger as to how many lies she had told over the past two weeks. It wasn't just to Sonar but to Silver, Rouge and Sally too. Technically keeping the truth to herself about the aftermath of the party was still equivalent to telling a lie?
Gosh she felt awful. Seeing the little girl hopelessly beg for donations was horrible. Helping her was the only way she saw of being pardoned for all the lies she had told. A redemption. A small act of kindness against the many lies, allowing herself to be released from its tight grip.
It was something so that she could hold onto her previous self. The Amy Rose she admired more than ever. The one that would never dreamt of this current state she was in today.
It was selfish, she knew that. Helping out someone to make herself feel less guilty, she should've put their best interests at heart first. It baffled her how she got into this position in the first place. She was no liar, she never did anything deceptive. Ironically now, she stood in the centre of it all.
Not to mention Sonar's sudden confession to her. That was the final straw. She couldn't take it anymore. Everything he said was so abrupt, so complicated. Never in a million years would she have expected him to express himself like that. He was a completely different person, much more different than the way he carried himself normally.
She rested her head carefully against the painted wall behind her. It had been a couple of hours since the procedure began. She was certain that it'll all work out fine though, after all the doctors were specialists.
Things had been weird with her and Sonar though. They had kept silent after that incident. Amy wasn't sure how to react per say. She merely parted from him after the hug and moved herself to the corner of the waiting room. Things were slightly awkward even though she never intended for it to be that way.
The pink hedgehog glanced at the clock, which now read 03:42 and lazily wandered her eyes to view her surroundings. She caught the mature hedgehog, who looked slightly paler than in the morning, snoring lightly with her mouth open. Her clench full of used tissues.
Her eyes fell onto a sleeping Sonar, who had his chest covered with his jacket, his blanket for tonight. He looked at ease, as if he had no worries about... anything. It's how she wanted to be, what she missed.
The pink hedgehog drew her eyes away from him quickly. Watching someone sleep wasn't the vibe she wanted to go for. It was creepy and rude, an invasion of his privacy.
She gently got up, quickly becoming worried when she couldn't spot the little girl. She lightly moved down the corridor to the entrance of the operation theatre, where she was relieved to find the young hedgehog touching the glass door as she viewed her father being operated on. Her small hand-print covered her view of his heart. She could tell her breathing rate was slightly increased.
"Hey," the pink hedgehog whispered to which the girl jumped back.
"O-oh hi!" She whispered back lightly.
Amy chuckled at how chirpy she remained despite the dark hour. She ruffled her quills slowly to which she squinted in displeasure. "You never told me your name, lovely?"
The young girl gently removed Amy's hand from her quills, not liking how messy they'd gotten but smiled nonetheless. "It's Jamie."
The pink hedgehog smiled at Jamie. "You should probably go to sleep. You're exhausted." She pointed at the young hedgehog's puffy eyes.
To her statement, the young girl huffed, crossing her little arms as she stood her ground. "No. I'm going to be the first one that meets dada!" She cheered whilst still whispering. "I need to stay awake to be the first person."
"How about this Jamie, you go to sleep now and when your dada gets better I'll wake you up? That way you can still be the first person to meet him." She suggested, holding her hand out for Jamie to accept.
Jamie carefully thought about Amy's deal. She turned back and placed her hand just as before on the glass pane. "Goodnight dada, I'll see you soon.." She faintly said whilst turning back to Amy shaking her hand happily.
"Okay I accept, but you HAVE to wake me up!" She emphasised once more causing Amy to snicker. She was astounded how this little girl resembled a few elements of herself. The sternness she portrayed was something Amy realised she had too.
"We've got ourselves a deal, but tell me... How did you bump into me in the first place?" She asked out of curiosity.
Jamie put a finger to her chin as she swirled left and right faintly. It was clear she was trying to remember what had happened, which was hard bearing in mind all the troubles she had faced.
"Ah I remember now!" She clapped her hands, immediately stopping as she realised her mother was asleep. "I was asking for donations like my mumma told me but then these bad bullies came by and wanted to see how much I had collected. I knew they were bad because they were stinky." She scrunched her face recalling the wretched smell that oozed out of them freely.
"They started pinching me and tried to snatch my bag of donations." She frowned at the events flashing in front of her again.
"I ran across the street to get away and saw you Miss. You looked really pretty... and really nice too... just like young mumma. I wish I had the picture now, you wouldn't have believed it yourself!" She giggled before hugging Amy.
Amy's heart fell as she heard her story. The world was a cruel place, she knew that from first-hand experience, but to be so cruel to a child? That was something else in its entirety.
The pink hedgehog ran her hand through Jamie's smooth quills, in a motherly manner, nuzzling up against her carefully. "Its time to go to sleep now. I'll wake you up when it's time, okay?"
With that, Jamie left Amy's embrace and tip-toed back to her mother, placing her head in her lap and her mother's hand over it. A mere five minutes were needed to put her to sleep. She noticed her chest rise and fall in a rhythmic motion, confirming her sleeping state.
Amy took the opportunity to view the surgery through the glass-pane. Each proceeding step made her a little more anxious than the last. She reminded herself that she was brave enough to do anything. So then why was she so afraid of watching a man's operation? Specifically a man she had no connection to.
She blamed the lack of a father figure in a life, that was probably it. For years, she was taunted for not having a father figure. As a young girl, it made her look like a 'freak' for being raised by her aunt. The lack of attachment made her vulnerable to these sorts of situations. This was her only excuse for her numbness.
Mustering her courage and blowing out for relief from her overactive thoughts, Amy finally allowed her jade green eyes to see the reality.
A almost lifeless male hedgehog laid on the stretcher. An infusion bag constantly supplying him with nutrients. His quills messy and his skin pale with major degree burns appearing frequently on his arms. She could just about make out his blue lips underneath his oxygen mask. Many machines surrounded him, sucking the lasts amount of energy that remained in him. She saw one of the doctors raise his arm injecting some sort of solution into him, before dropping it back down slowly.
She rapidly turned her head away, horrified by his condition. She brought her hands close and prayed he would get better; for Jamie's sake more than anyone else. It was an eye opener at the suffering that was taking place around her. From what she understood, her paying for his operation was the single best impulsive decision she had taken. She was helping someone that truly needed it.
It reduced the internal guilt she constantly felt. It reminded her of her true morals. It reassured her that amongst this pretence, her true self still existed. That of which, she was proud of.
.
"Dada!" Jamie's eyes lit up as she ran through the door and hugged her father close. The male winced in pain as she squeezed him but patted her head nonetheless.
One of the doctors approached Amy with a file and a pen. "Madam, you paid for the operation so please fill out your details alongside the patient's. You can meet him for 20 minutes maximum. He needs as much rest as he can get."
Amy understood the conditions the doctor said and proceeded to read what the form asked for. As promised, she stayed awake for when Jamie's dad would get consciousness.
The operation had taken a few hours, the doctors were done by the crack of dawn, yet they weren't sure how long it would take for the medications to wear off and when he'd finally gain consciousness. Around a few more hours, they alerted her of the good news and as promised, she woke up Jamie.
"Jamie, go get your friend to come speak to me." The male hedgehog coughed violently at the end of the sentence, reminding him of his condition.
The little girl left her father's side and tugged Amy to take a seat by him, forcing her to leave her paperwork. The pink hedgehog gave him a weak smile being mindful of his weak state.
"You're going to get better soon. These burns will heal with time." She faintly reassured.
The man attempted to laugh but immediately started coughing repeatedly. The same violent kind like before. Once it was back within his control he spoke. "Dear, it's not the burns I'm worried about, it's my heart. That explosion hit where it hurts the most, am I right?" He tried to joke to which the pink hedgehog revealed sorrowful eyes.
"You were involved in an explosion?" She lightly questioned.
The man shook his head. "We live the tough life. We do the high risk jobs nobody ever wants to do. Working in a factory of cylinders full of oil never ends well eh?" He tried to lighten the mood, immediately receiving nothing but frowns.
"I wouldn't do it if I had a choice. I mean, who chooses to have a cylinder blow up against their chest? But I do it... to provide for my family." He frowned, turning to Jamie and grabbing her little hand.
"I need to pay for my daughter's education. If no other jobs'll accept me, I'll do this one happily." He paused still noticing the two holding their heads down in pity.
"These sorts of accidents happen ALL the time. Don't get sentimental on me now!" His jovial tone caused them to both chuckle whilst simultaneously spewing tears down their cheeks.
Amy wiped her tears away. "The burns have damaged your skin. You're weak. They've operated on your heart..."
"The only thing that's keeping you alive right now is a pacemaker." She broke to him. "It's a miracle you survived that explosion."
The male hedgehog zoned in to nothingness. He had thought he made it out in one piece, with no major damage and continue his job like normal with no consequences to face. The reality of it all though was quite the opposite. He had to re-think his whole life.
"It's a miracle because you decided to pay. The nurse told me everything. You didn't need to, yet here you are. Why? We don't even know each other?" He suddenly felt the urge to ask, knowing his life was indebted to her.
Amy was at a loss for words. She couldn't just reveal that she wanted to help simply to make herself feel better? She'd only appear obnoxious and self-absorbed. To tell someone that she had slowly started hating herself and saw this as the only option of redemption was awful. There was no way to go about this conversation.
"I-I... I'll go get your wife, you've only got 10 minutes left of your visiting time." She smiled slowly before getting up from the stool, grabbing the paperwork and dashing out clumsily.
.
"Honey, what are we going to do? The doctors suggest you avoid any kind of manual labour. I've lost my job too. What about the expenses? Jamie? Ohmygosh-" The wife freaked out as her husband grabbed her into a loving embrace.
Sonar and Amy stood side by side observing the elder couple contemplating the drastic measures they'd need to take for their future. They still hadn't said a word to each other since the blue hedgehog's confession. Every time she would try and approach him, awkwardness would dominate instead and she would return back to keep a safe 'not-awkward' distance.
"Don't worry, we'll find a way. We always do." He softly kissed the top of her head as she cried, wetting his hospital gown.
Jamie frowned. She was young but knew the implications of this accident. She wanted to get her parents out of this poverty they suffered but was too small to even try. She had vowed to herself that she would become successful in the future to help repay her parents for all the tough times they shared. Though as of now, she stood silently with her head hung low.
"Hey, I'll pay for Jamie's education." Sonar interrupted. Amy observed his pupils, his eyes held sincerity. He really wanted to do this.
To make his argument stronger, he continued. "Please... I can only imagine how hard of a time this is for you. I don't want your daughter's education to feel like a burden. It's the only thing I'll pay for if you want?"
The elder couple glanced at each other with the same concerned look. They took a few moments to come to a decision. Once happy, they both turned back to face the blue hedgehog.
"Okay son, you can pay for Jamie's education. But please, nothing more. We will be able to manage our daily living."
Pleased with their decision, Sonar walked up to the couple, placing his hands on the elder male's shoulder. "That's awesome! Well... we'll leave you to rest now. Me and Amy'll probably head back. I'll be in touch. Here's my number." He quickly took a scrap piece of paper and pen from the side desk, scribbling his number down before handing it to the lady.
"Thank you once again, the both of you. You saved my husband and you're saving my daughter's future." The wife shed a few more tears, first thanking Amy and then Sonar.
Amy rushed by her side, leaning on her knees. "It's the least we can do, please take care of yourselves." She squeezed her hand lightly before her and Sonar waved goodbye and left the family alone.
.
"What you did for them really means a lot Amy." Sonar commented whilst the pink hedgehog locked her hotel room door after entering.
"Really? Maybe we should stop talking about sad stuff and just chill? I'm tired." She suggested instead, slumping herself onto her bed. The car ride back home had been awkward but now that seemed to diffuse. It was all slowly coming back together.
"No. This does mean a lot to me and... I need to tell you why."
"Gee, okay Mr Serious." She joked, her expression turning more worried when he didn't laugh back at her joke. She instinctively sat up properly before further questioning her partner.
"Sonar, what's going on? You're scaring me a little." She saw how he stared at the wooden floor, never looking in her direction. Scared was an understatement, she was petrified of what he was about to say/do.
Sonar huffed slightly. "You know how you said you weren't this privileged as a kid? Well I wasn't either." He softly turned to her face her directly.
"I've never told anyone this before, not sure why I'm telling you either. But telling you just feels right? I can't explain it. I want to tell you." He slumped onto Amy's sofa.
The pink hedgehog kept her gaze fixed on her partner. She could tell he was opening up about his vulnerabilities. Something she definitely didn't deserve to know as a person in ruse. She never signalled for him to continue, he just kept going on his own. There was no encouragement from her side.
"We've all seen the reality. Getting a job isn't easy, I know from first-hand experience." He let out a hurt laugh.
"I'd work somewhere for a week and then get sacked for no reason... But I'd always find another one. Whatever money I made would usually be enough to provide for me and my brother Manic." He smirked at the memory before pausing. His smirk soon subsided with a frown replacing it.
"My little brother... Gosh I'd do anything for him, and he was willing to risk his life for me." He sighed to himself for side-tracking slightly.
"My good time was gone though. An attack by our village caused all the wealthy folk to pack up and leave. That meant less jobs, obviously."
"Manic reassured me though, that I'd find one soon enough. But... that never happened. One month turned into 2, then to 3 and then many more. We starved ourselves for days trying to ration dammit." He hit his fist against the wall, angry at himself for being so pathetic.
"Things had gotten so out of hand that the rest of the village resorted to violence to steal the few rings we had, to get out of that place and start over in the city. We used to live peacefully together but they forgot about that. All they saw was how we were the 'wealthiest' of what was left. They became greedy and came together to attack in unison."
He sighed softly. "I don't blame them though. They were all good people. Besides, getting transport to the city is expensive. They had nothing on them, so they tried their way even though we had barely anything on us."
"They were always there, banging at our old shack. Me and him would just hide together when we heard the banging, holding hands, hoping they'd all go away. This wasn't just once a day, it would happen multiple times. We'd keep all lights off and be on alert every time we'd leave. Even in the middle of the night. We'd be scared to sleep knowing they could break in at any time and kill us for the few rings we had." Amy noticed tears forming in Sonar's eyes. He sniffled slightly, but rose from the weak moment.
"They managed to break in one day, without banging first. Their sudden appearance with all these weapons frightened the both of us. I dashed to get the few rings we hand then tugged Manic's hand for the exit."
"They were behind us, a whole hoard of them. The feeling of knowing they were hot on my tail freaked me out. I kept looking back and they kept getting closer. It made me feel something I'd never felt before!?"
"I never quite realised that somehow I progressively became faster and faster until I looked back and they were miles behind us. It was so surreal. I'd developed this super speed in less than a day! Manic was so excited about this whole thing too."
Sonar looked up to Amy who stared at him with awe. "T-the volley-ball incident? That's how you moved so quickly on your feet."
The blue hedgehog chuckled slightly. "...Yeah, that pretty much explains the whole volley-ball thing and why the two of us were enough to handle a pack of wolves. I try and be subtle about it though. People would freak if they found out."
Amy nodded as Sonar continued with what he started.
"Our old shack wasn't safe for us anymore. We had no other place to stay. Those people had lost their minds and finding a new job was out of the question!"
"We moved to the more rogue side of the village and turned an abandoned shack into our new home." He stayed silent for a few moments, reminiscing the time that had gone in to even making that place worth staying.
"Then Manic found a job out of the blue. We were both so happy. He promised we could get out of here and never look back. He sold me a dream." He smiled.
"He'd have all this cash in his pockets, but never told me how. Each time I questioned him, he'd get annoyed at me. He told me he was doing fine, that once he'd get enough for us to rent out a property in the city he'd quit. He told me that he didn't want me to question him... and I respected that." He paused, taking in a sharp breath for what was coming next.
"He was drug-dealing Ames. He'd gotten himself in the wrong hands. We both wanted civil jobs. Heck, I wanted to become a hero with my speed! He said they'd never hurt him." His tone became more dark.
"I only learnt the truth once Manic came home looking worried one day. He was freaking out, constantly staring outside our window, he was always on edge. I knew something was wrong, I knew from the start but I never questioned it. Like a fool, I thought life for once was being fair to us, but no." He banged the wall again to release some frustration.
"I asked him to finally tell me what was going on... He made me promise not to get mad."
"He told me he'd started dealing and that one of the deals went wrong, the buyer took the goods and fooled him with fake money." He brushed his quills as he huffed.
"They asked him to come over and explain the situation, which is never a good thing. Manic gave me their address and told me to get there if he wasn't back within 20 minutes. Our plan was to get out of this dumpster village and start over with whatever Manic had earned." He paused again, all of it was becoming too much to tell.
"I waited for half an hour, an extra ten minutes just to give him the benefit of the doubt. But he never came back... I-I w-was worried and dashed over using my speed only to see my little brother held at gun point."
"He begged them for mercy Ames. He was so scared... I could tell from his eyes. He promised them he'd return it back, to trust him and let him go." He got up and moved to seat himself beside Amy.
"I didn't know what to do! I knew I was fast and dashed for Manic knowing we could leave them miles behind. All of the drug lords were caught off guard by my streak of blue and suddenly started firing shots. I-I wasn't fast enough Ames... They had already shot him before I could get to him." He finally allowed himself to cry. He didn't care if he looked pathetic.
Amy gently stroked his quills and Sonar automatically placed his head on her shoulder, grieving the mistakes his naive self made. They stayed like that for a while until Sonar calmed down slightly.
"It w-was my fault he got shot. They stole all of our rings stashed in his pockets and ran away after the shooting." His face became flushed as he recalled those events.
"I dashed his lifeless body to the hospital outside our village, at city centre. I didn't know what else to do! The doctors were kind enough to start the procedure with the few rings I had kept on me but told me to rearrange the money soon."
"I begged for rings day and night but I only managed to get a few. I slept on the ground for weeks! I kept myself strong, so that when he woke up he wouldn't be worried. So that I could look him in the eye and tell him that our bad days were behind us. That we can finally start over."
"The doctors were getting fed up with my daily excuses and gave me a final warning to arrange all the money or else they'd cut off his support." He widened his eyes, remembering the horror he felt at the time.
"There were these rich girls that eyed me up outside the hospital everyday since I admitted him. They would come every single day and just stare at me and laugh to themselves at my failure. It was entertainment for them. There were always a group of them. They always managed to make me uncomfortable." He cringed at the memory.
"They'd get touchy and really close to me, right in my personal space. They'd whisper propositions to me I wish I could erase from my memory. That if I'd sleep with them they'd donate some cash." His lips formed a line.
"A few days later, after all of their antics failed, they offered to pay for the whole thing but only if I sold myself to them completely. They made a pact that each one could keep me around for two weeks and that after this period I'd be rotated to the next girl's house." His ears drooped at how vile their thoughts were.
"They told me I'd need to do everything they'd say Ames. Cooking, cleaning, slavery, being a boy-toy they could use and show-off... And other vile things too for their pleasure. At that point I'd become desperate. The doctors were on my case 24/7!"
"I… Just wanted to get my brother back so we could conquer the world side by side. Like before." He whispered at the end.
"What happened next? Is your brother okay?" Amy asked in a whisper, nervous of his response.
Sonar frowned. "I eventually got money for the operation." He formed a line with his lips, not wanting to say anything further about he had been manipulated. Amy's breath hitched, automatically understanding what he implied.
"But Manic is okay... He's in a coma. He has been for two years."
He blew out to calm himself down and turned to face Amy with a smile. "But you're not like them at all. You helped someone in need for no selfish reason at all Ames. You helped someone that really needed it and that's when I realised... I like you a lot."
Amy backed away from Sonar slightly. She'd just put together what was really going on. His sudden confession at the hospital suddenly made a lot more sense.
"Sonar," she started off saying. She didn't want to crush him, yet it seemed she had no choice.
"I'm not saying this to hurt you but-" She started off saying to which her blue partner cut her off.
"But what Ames?"
She got away and carefully leaned back against her wall, facing down on him. "Don't you see? You don't like me." She cleared causing her blue partner to look hurt.
The pink hedgehog sighed knowing her words would pierce him deep. But she knew the cause of this complication was purely due to all the mistreatment he'd suffered from. It was her position to correct this 'misunderstanding'.
"The trauma you've gone through... is a lot, okay? But you've placed me on this pedestal because I've been a good person." She was at a loss of words. She couldn't form proper sentences to help him understand his naive behaviour. She took a moment to plan what she wanted to say, hoping it'd come out right.
"You've never had that kind of goodness shown to you. You're deprived of it. You're confusing my goodness for an emotion completely... different." She forced the words out.
"That's completely different to liking someone Sonar. You appreciate me for helping Jamie and her family because no one did that for you when you were in her position. You don't like me, you don't even know what that means." She broke to him.
"You can't say things like that until you get help with your trauma. You can't say words you don't mean." She voiced her concern in a whisper.
The blue hedgehog took her hand into his. "I know this is a lot to process bu-"
"No Sonar! Please... Don't complicate things. I need a partner. You're not in the state to stay as my business partner. I think it's best if we stay away from each other for a few days. Until you can distinguish what being a good person is from liking someone, because you don't like me Sonar." She yanked her hand away and bitterly expressed, hoping it would put some sense into him.
She was astounded by how awful her sudden behaviour became towards him. Everything up until that point was about him. His brother, his trauma, his liking. Yet somehow, she turned it back to make it as though everything revolved around her. How his 'trauma' was a problem for her. Gosh, she hated that. No one chooses to go through things like that. She should've been more careful about the way she went about this. Though the damage had already been done.
"Gosh that didn't come out right." She said whilst massaging her forehead.
"I'm sorry for what you've been through. I really am. No one deserves to go through anything like that. But you need to understand, I'm scared this'll influence my business a-and that's not something I want. You've been amazing so far but I need you to stay focused so that the only thing we can push forward is the boutique."
"You're free to come back once you're level-headed again... But for now I think it's time we take a step back." She stated facing away from Sonar.
"Please Ames... don't cut me out. I know the difference, please. We even kissed after the party, what did that mean then?" He pleaded to which Amy turned around annoyed.
"No Sonar, it didn't mean anything. That kiss was a mistake. We were both drunk and I didn't know what I was doing!" She covered.
"Please leave before I call security. We can talk once you come to terms with this whole thing. Sonar, I care about your well-being and I know a little time is all you need." She said with her own heart aching at how much she was hurting him for reasons she couldn't quite explain.
"My sole purpose is to get a business set-up, so you can either sort yourself out over the next few days, or I'll manage on my own. The choice is yours. You can always come back to be my partner once you feel ready." She hated how her alter ego immediately made everything about her. Except this needed to be made clear to him.
She saw how he tried to approach her once more but stopped knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere. He slowly made his way to the door, opening it and leaving without turning back for a final glance.
She felt awful, but it was for the betterment of her plan. She had treated someone opening up about their vulnerabilities so harshly.
Who even was she anymore?
Though the pink hedgehog knew that if she let this 'liking' or whatever it is continue, she'd get attached too. The last thing she needed was this plan to go haywire and her falling for the enemy.
Amy ran to her bathroom brutally scrubbing her face with her hands and then flushing it with cold water. She jerked her head up to look at herself and frowned instantly. The redness all that rubbing caused faded away, reminding her that this was all temporary. Just two more weeks and she'd forget this whole thing happened. Two more weeks.
There it was again, the guilt she had managed to get rid of returned, but this time stronger than ever. More painful. Her heart physically ached. She just wanted to numb herself, stop herself from feeling entirely. Somehow, each day became more hard to endure. She thought that everything she was doing up until this point was right.
This, however, caused her to take a step back and rethink everything.
Things were easier when she thought Sonar was a douche-bag that wanted cash, end of. The reality was far more complicated though. Everyday she got to know him better, she'd develop more guilt. The burden of knowing that she was lying, stealing and using him for her motive disgusted her.
She couldn't even look herself in the eye anymore. Toying with someone's emotions like that was not the person she wanted to become. She moved away from her reflection, not wanting to remind herself of what just went down.
She leaned her head back on the wall of her bathroom and started a chant.
"Just a little longer. Just a little longer. Just 2 more weeks. That's it. 2 more weeks." She covered her face with her hands trying to rationalise her behaviour.
Except no chant would make it go away. Her stomach churned at how awful she had treated him. Yes he was a con artist, but he never deserved anything that cruel. Especially not from her.
She whispered one final sentence to herself for her own sanity.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
A/N: Sonar trusted Amy and told her about his past only to get kicked out... Yikes! Do you believe him? Is it all 'lie' for a larger scheme? It's all becoming a bit much for Amy too, what'll she do? I'd love to know your thoughts!
The next one might come out a lot later than usual (sorry in advance!) I'm just super swamped at the moment!
