The closest book seemed to protrude slightly. Azura poked it with her lance, but nothing happened. Its green spine didn't betray any secrets, apparently just a normal seeming book, but Azura suspected there was a hidden secret to be found.

Maybe the bookcases are hiding something behind them? She stole a glance at Corrin, who was staring at a line of books with a confused look on his face. Azura quietly giggled to herself at his silly expression.

Is he thinking too hard? Turning back to the task at hand, she looked up at the books. There were a number of them on this shelf, with various colors. Two each of green, red and purple. And a single book with a light blue cover.

This one sticks out. Perhaps it is the key to finding something. But is it really that simple? Curious, Azura walked closer to the odd tome. She couldn't sense anything odd about it.

Maybe it's a lever of some sort? If so, then… She thought about calling Corrin over, but decided to have a quick look herself. Just like all the others, there was no writing on the spine. Azura reached out, touching the book. She was certainly far too small to move it herself, she would need Corrin's help.

Azura reached out and touched the tome. Her eyes widened in surprise when her hand suddenly started glowing with a blue light. She quickly withdrew her arm, but now her whole body was starting to glow.

What's happening to me?
"Corrin!" Azura called out anxiously.
Corrin was with her in an instant. "What's the matter?" he said, before seeing that she was glowing.
"S-something's happening!" she cried, looking over herself as she started to panic.

Am I about to shrink again?
"What the... What do I do?" Corrin nervously scanned the room. Nothing seemed to be different, nothing else was conspicuously glowing like Azura was. Without ideas, he looked back to see the glow intensifying, his companion lighting up.
"Corrin, help me!" She shouted, now little more than a ball of light.
"Azura!" Corrin yelled, grabbing for her tiny body, but his hand was met with air as the glow faded. His empty hand trembled as he tried to process what had happened.

Did she shrink again? It seemed very different to that, no dragon vein to speak of, and she had vanished entirely.

Has she been taken somewhere else? What am I going to do now?

The glow had gotten so strong that Azura couldn't see Corrin anymore, but it soon faded into darkness. Her eyes took some time to adjust before they could reveal Azura's new surroundings. She was in a giant corridor, stretching out into the gloom. No, she inwardly corrected herself, it was just a normal sized corridor. She was still tiny, as she could see from the bricks in the wall that dwarfed her. High above her head torches were hung on the walls, the only source of light in this dim place. Having been teleported somehow, she had no idea which way would lead her back to Corrin. Glancing about anxiously, she decided her only option was to start moving. She would not be able to move very fast on her tiny legs, but she might be able to work out where she was.

Corrin decided that Azura had likely been transported somewhere, the alternative too terrible to think about. He had to find her quickly; she wouldn't do well on her own at two inches tall. Leaning in at the bookcase where she had last stood, he noticed a book with a light blue color, not unlike Azura's hair. He pulled the book off the shelf and opened it. Just like the other books had been, the pages were merely blank. He threw the book to the floor in frustration. He grabbed the bookshelf, trying to pull it out of the way, but it did not budge.

Is it fixed to the wall? In that case… Drawing his sword, he plunged the blade deep into the wood, and into the wall. He felt no resistance to his weapon once it was through the bookcase. Withdrawing his sword, he peered into the hole he had made, seeing only darkness.

There's a hidden path here! Stepping back, he swung his blade at the wooden object several times, reducing it to splinters. His path was clear, though he had to crouch a bit to get through the opening. Without any hesitation, he started to run down the passage.

Azura sighed in the gloom.

If only I were a bit bigger, I could move much faster. Since being shrunk, this was the first time she had been on her own.

Perhaps I've taken Corrin a bit too much for granted. She thought. Though they had not been apart for long, she found herself missing him terribly.

What must he have thought as I vanished before his eyes? She hoped he had not assumed her lost and was searching for her at this very moment. She knew he wouldn't give up, so she focused on trying to find something, anything that could help her find him. She walked close to the wall, shivering at the cold air. On her own, the world seemed bigger than ever before. Azura was frightened, for there was no-one to protect her from the dangers of this mysterious place now.

What if one of those strange creatures from earlier showed up now? She would be helpless as it could capture her in a single hand. She had to make haste, determined to find Corrin as soon as possible.

Corrin dashed down the corridor. As he got further away from the strange study he had been in, it got darker and darker, but he did not care. His fear for Azura spurred him onward. With her absent, it felt like a huge piece of him was missing, even though she was smaller than his thumb. He ignored his fear of the dark completely, never considering the light as his thoughts were consumed with Azura. He would find her, no matter how many of these Outrealms he had to search. His run stopped abruptly when he hit his head on a wall. Crying out, he was forced to stop, rubbing his head to soothe the pain.

A dead end? Maybe not. Annoyed, he felt his way around in the darkness. He realized the corridor bent to the right, though he could not see it. He would be slower now. He hated the delay, not caring that he might not find a way back. To him, finding Azura was all that mattered.

Despite walking for quite some time, Azura felt like she hadn't traveled very far. She missed watching the world go past while sat on Corrin's shoulder. Now she had only her tiny legs to transport her. There was still no sign of an end to this corridor, either. She looked about as she walked, desperate for a way to speed things up. About halfway up the walls there seemed to be holes of some sort. Easily big enough for her to fit through, but she didn't think she would be able to climb that high. She wondered where those holes might lead. They might go outside, though that might be more dangerous for the tiny Azura than indoors.

Maybe they led to another corridor, just like this one? Or perhaps back into the temple entrance? She had no idea how far she had been teleported, but she hoped it hadn't been far.
Suddenly she had an idea. It seemed like sound would carry well down this corridor and could certainly go through the holes.

Maybe, if I sing...? Getting a bit excited, she started her song. She didn't care that it might attract enemies, she just wanted to find Corrin again. It was hard for her to tell, but it did seem like her voice was carrying through the corridor quite well, like she was singing in a theater. She just hoped Corrin would be able to hear it...

Deep in a pitch-black maze, Corrin had been forced to make many turns. He almost certainly couldn't find his way back out now, but knew he was still going forward, to new parts of the strange path. If he was to find Azura, he had to press on regardless.
He stopped when he heard a faint sound. It was very quiet but, when he listened intently, he recognized it as Azura's song.
"Azura!" He called out, but there was no response, instead the song continued.
Encouraged by the sound of his companion, Corrin increased his pace, pursuing the song. When he needed to turn, he tried to head towards where he thought her voice was coming from. Eventually he could see a dim light far in the distance, the sound coming from straight ahead. He broke into a run. He could almost feel that she was just ahead...

As she sang and walked, Azura thought she could hear something. It was difficult to hear over her song, but it sounded like footsteps.
