Corrin could hardly believe his eyes. Was it a trick of the water? Regardless, the image of the shrunken songstress beneath the water started to expand. Was she absorbing the water somehow? Corrin watched in rapt fascination as she grew bigger and bigger beneath the waves. She continued to expand, until her growth finally slowed. Worried about her drowning, Corrin reached in and pulled Azura out of the water.
"Azura!" he cried, "you're back to normal!"
"A-am I?" she coughed. Looking around, she saw the landscape was much more familiar than before. Corrin was no longer a colossus, now much more like her own size. "I suppose I'll have to get used to being this big once again..."
Corrin grabbed her in a hug. She returned the gesture, glad she could finally experience an embrace like a normal human once more. While he was relieved she was full size, Corrin was less keen on the hug. Azura was soaking wet!
"Come on, we need to get you back," Corrin said, helping Azura to her feet, "you'll catch a cold in those soaking wet clothes."
"Y-yes." Azura shivered, "I suppose I'll have more dresses to choose from now..."
Corrin led the way. Azura glanced back at the lake one more time. Though the glow of the water had faded, something still seemed a bit off...

Lunging forward, Corrin landed a blow on his enemy. Though wounded, the knight was not beaten yet. He thrust his lance towards the prince. Corrin barely dodged the attack, before launching his own. The knight parried Corrin's thrust with his shield, forcing him to leap back. The knight was a critical target in this battle, but Corrin could not take him out yet.
"You are the ocean's gray waves..."
Corrin glanced at Azura behind him. Her song had energized him again, the prince attempting another attack. His stab connected, and the knight crumpled to the floor.
"Thanks, Azura!" Corrin said, turning to his friend, but she had a worried expression on her face. "Azura?"
"C-Corrin, I... Something feels strange," Azura told him, experiencing a very odd, yet somehow familiar sensation. When had she felt like this before? She looked down at her hand. It seemed to be the same as before, but the ground was somehow moving beneath her. Gasping, she looked back to Corrin, only to see him bigger than before. That was when she realized what was happening.
"I'm shrinking!" Azura told Corrin, dismayed.
"I can see that!" Corrin said, having noticed the blue glow and bubbles rising off her dwindling body, "but how?"
"I-I don't know!" Azura stuttered, the top of her head now level with his chest. Her shrinking accelerated, her hopes of stopping at half size dashed as she shrank smaller still. She could only glance around as everything in the world shot up around her. She looked up at Corrin as she was diminished to a level below even his knee, the look of anguish on her face enough to break his heart. Despite the danger of the battlefield, he crouched down so he could still see her as she continued to shrink. The glow faded when she was a single inch tall.
"I... can't believe this!" Azura breathed. Shrinking before had been bewildering, but it was quite something else for her to lose almost all of her size in mere seconds. The difference in the world was dizzying, now even blades of grass dwarfed her. Even the ground was completely different, a new level of detail revealed.
Azura squeaked as she was scooped up. She relaxed when she realized it was Corrin, lifting her up into safety.
"I'm sorry, Corrin," Azura said, "you shouldn't have to worry about me when you're fighting."
"Don't be, I would never have beaten that last foe without your help," he assured her.
"I don't know how this happened," Azura told him, looking around his massive, yet very familiar palm, "maybe it was my song that made me shrink again?"
"Maybe. But don't worry about it," Corrin said.
"Oh? What makes you say that?" Azura asked, his confidence confusing.
"Well, you grew back in the lake, right? So I just have to take you back there again!" He suggested.
"That makes sense," Azura agreed, though she did not share his optimism.
"So don't worry! I'll keep you safe!" Corrin said. Part of him was glad he had tiny Azura back. Azura smiled up at him. There were things to be enjoyed about being tiny. She wondered if she'd be able to shrink whenever she wanted. She stood up, gripping his thumb for balance, as he moved on to the next enemy. He would have to go to the lake again after every battle. But it was worth it...
