My name is Izumi, and I'm dying? I remember clearly how I got here. I'm a quirkless girl who lives by myself and I don't really have any friends. I'll admit that I'm gay as hell and a girl named Yuma asked me out. I was confused but agreed. We met up and went on a fun date to an arcade and a fancy restaurant, and then we ended the night with a walk through a park. She asked if I could die for her and then she stabbed me with a light spear that I assumed was her quirk. Why am I so calm? Too bad I couldn't get into UA like I wanted.

"What if you could?" a voice asked.

"Y-yes," I coughed.

"Then become my servant," a girl with crimson hair and a UA uniform said. After that I lost consciousness.

I'm a Devil Now?!

I woke up to my alarm and felt a body behind me. An obviously naked female body and I could tell this because I too was naked. I quickly turned to see the red haired girl from the night before. I freaked out and fell to the floor. I made a thump, causing her to wake up.

"Hmm, good morning," she said, looking at me.

"G-good morning, um, w-who are you a-and why were we n-naked in my b-bed?" I stammered.

"I'm Rias Gremory, a Gen Ed student at UA and I'm a devil. You are now a devil in my house, but we can talk more about that later. As to why we were both naked, do you remember what happened last night, with the fallen angel?"

"I-I got stabbed?" I said.

"Yes and I had to heal you and the best way is skin to skin contact. Anyway, I'll have someone get you later for our meeting. You'll know who they are then," Rias said, putting her panties on. She finished getting dressed and walked out.

After a few minutes I snapped back to reality and quickly got dressed for school. School was normal and at the end of the day I walked out and was stopped by a girl with green hair wearing a UA uniform.

"Rias sent me," she said. "Follow me," she added, grabbing my hand. I got a better look at her and could figure she was only a year older than me. We got on a train and sat down. "Sorry about that, had to get back to UA quickly. You're our only member who isn't either at UA or a walk away. I'm Moe Kamiji by the way," she said, grinning like Kacchan only kinder.

"I-Izumi Midoriya, and are you a hero course student?"

"Yep, you're looking at the next great fire hero Burnin," she said, grinning.

"Oh, what's your quirk?" I asked.

"It's difficult," she said, her smile faltering slightly. "The pres will explain everything later."

"What is Rias the president of?" I asked.

"The occult research club. Well, that's what it's known as officially but in reality we are all members of Rias's house," Moe explained. "It'll be best if you just wait until we get there. Oh, you're going to need this too," she said, handing me a UA pass.

"Thanks," I said, taking it.

We rode in silence for the next few minutes until the UA stop came up and we got out. We walked up to the gates and to a smaller old school building away from most of the other buildings. It honestly looked haunted but I wasn't going to say anything. We went in and I was shown to what looked like an office with two couches, a coffee table between them, a door leading to somewhere else, and a desk where Rias was sitting.

"Ah, Izumi you finally made it. I wanted to introduce you to the rest of my peerage," Rias said.

"Um, what do you mean?" I asked.

"We are all devils in the service of Rias Gremory," the tall raven haired girl next to Rias said. "I'm Akeno by the way, Rias's Queen."

"Oh, I should've mentioned, I'm a knight," Moe said.

"I'm Koneko, rook," a small girl younger than me said.

"So the're chess pieces?" I asked.

"Sort of, they all have an Evil Piece in them, you included. I will admit that they are comparable to chess pieces," Rias explained. "I'm the king and you are a pawn," she added.

"So I'm normal but I can become like any of them and I'm assuming they each have special powers," I said, remembering when I played chess when I was younger.

"Yes. Rooks are super strong and have a good defense. Knights have increased speed and mobility but their durability is low so a strong hit will easily take them out. Bishops have a higher magic ability but if they use too powerful of an ability they will only be able to use smaller spells. Queens are the perfect combination of all three," Rias said. "Pawns have the ability to promote themselves when in enemy territory."

"So I do have a question. Last night Yuma said something about 'sacred gear', what's that?" I asked.

"Some humans are born with items with abilities. Some are powerful and others aren't, Moe has one for instance and she uses it as if it was a quirk," Akeno said.

"Yeah, I'm actually quirkless but I use my sword birth to make swords and say that it's my quirk," Moe said.

"Alright, so, um, what do we do?" I asked.

"Well, you're going to hand out these fliers," Rias said, holding up a small flier like the one I was handed the day before. "You'll do this until I decide you are good enough for an actual summons."

"A-alright," I said.

"Akeno, can you join her so she isn't by herself?" Rias asked.

"Of course, anything to help a new member," Akeno said, smiling.

"Alright, now why don't you two get to it? I'll call Akeno if anything happens and we need you," Rias said.

"Alright, let's go Izumi," Akeno said, grabbing a few fliers as I also went up to grab some.

The two of us walked into town and started handing them out. I then walked over to Akeno and tapped her shoulder.

"Yes Izumi?" Akeno said, smiling.

"Um, I'm out of fliers," I said.

"Oh, well that's good. I'm almost out myself so we can get some food after we're done alright?"

"A-alright," I said, blushing at the idea of having dinner with an obviously hot girl.

After a few minutes we were finished and went to a ramen shop where we were eating when Akeno asked a question.

"So, why did Rias reincarnate you?"

"I really don't know," I said. "All that I was thinking was that I would die before getting into UA. Then she appeared and offered me a chance in my dying state, I just agreed."

"Ah, you want to be a hero don't you?" Akeno asked.

"Y-yeah, but I'm quirkless so I thought it would be impossible but with a sacred gear I might be able to."

"Well, know that everyone will support you. Oh, looks like Rias needs some help, come with me," Akeno said, taking my hand and pulling me out of the restaurant. She pulled me into an alley and abruptly stopped and turned around making me run face first into her breasts. "Oh, sorry for stopping suddenly. This should do for what we need to do," Akeno said.

W-what we need to do? W-what does she mean by that?

"Alright, let's go," Akeno said. A red pentagram then appeared at our feet and a bright light enveloped us and I opened my eyes and we were somewhere else.

"Akeno, why is Izumi clinging to you?" Rias asked, as I noticed her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell her that we were teleporting here and I'm guessing she got scared," Akeno said.

"S-sorry, just wasn't expecting that. So what are we doing?" I asked.

"Hunting down a stray," Koneko said.

"A stray?"

"A stray devil," Moe clarified. "They're a devil that either left their master or killed them."

"For this one I want Izumi to stand back for now but be prepared to enter the fight if needed. Koneko you will be the front line, Akeno provide cover, and Moe find weak points and exploit them," Rias commanded.

"Alright!" Moe said, pulling out a sword with green flames on the blade.

"Let's do this," Koneko said, putting gloves on.

"Oh, it seems like some devils are here for me. Here to look at my bountiful chest?" a voice rang out as a beautiful woman with two very bare very big breasts.

"You killed your master so we are here to kill you," Rias yelled out.

"Argh! You won't kill me!" the devil yelled, coming out to show her lower half was a giant beastial form.

"Moe," Rias said.

"On it," Moe said, disappearing.

"Huh, where'd she go?" I asked.

"She's still here, just moving too fast for the eye to see,
Rias said. The arms of the lower half were cut as if to prove her point. "Her weapon is that of a sword."

"Argh! Damn it!" the stray yelled. She then bit down on Koneko with a mouth from the lower half.

"Koneko!" I yelled.

"Don't worry, she's fine. She's a rook so her strength is amazing," Rias said.

"That tickled," Koneko said, punching the lower half off of her and knocking her to the ground.

"Akeno, you're up," Rias said.

"What's her fighting style?" I asked.

"She's a magic specialist," Rias said. I saw one of the sliced off arms fly after her.

"Look out!" I yelled, as I ran to intersect. I felt a strength build in my arm as a green light came from it and I punched the arm away. I looked at my arm and saw a green metal bracelet on it with a pink gem on it. It was pointed towards my elbow and was split in three sections with the last being black with red mixed in.

"I-Izumi, thank you. That's your sacred gear if I had to guess," Rias said.

"Well, now I have to take you down," Akeno said, as lightning danced around her fingers.

"Her powers are amazing, there's also the fact that she's very much into s and m," Rias said.

"Wait, you mean she l-liking this?" I asked, too scared of what I was seeing to think about anything else.

"Yeah. Hey Akeno, I think she's had enough," Rias said. "Time to end this," she added, causing a red magic circle and letting a beam of red energy hit the stray and ending her life.

"Th-this is my sacred gear?" I asked, looking at my wrist.

"I would say so. Congratulations," Akeno said.

"Good job," Koneko said.

"Nice, looks good if I do say so myself," Moe said.

"Well, today's been a busy one so let's go home. Izumi, would you like me to walk you home?" Rias asked.

"N-no thank you, I'm alright. Um, so tomorrow what do I need to do?"

"Just come to UA and meet us in the club house. Don't worry about any of the teachers either. They know that some of our friends are young and that they help us with occult research," Rias said winking.

"O-oh, alright. Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow," I said, walking to my house.

The next day I woke up and walked to school. When I got there I was stopped at the entrance by Kacchan.

"Oi, Deku!" he growled.

"K-Kacchan," I said.

"What the hell were you doing yesterday with a chick from UA?"

"U-um, h-her club leader and I m-met up the n-night before a-and they asked f-for my help with some things."

"Don't fucking lie to me you nerd!" he yelled, throwing and explosion at me. I activated my sacred gear and used it to shield me. "The fuck is that?"

"I-it's my q-quirk."

"The hell you talking about, you're a quirkless bitch."

"N-no, yesterday at their club s-something went wrong and i-it activated. I-I don't know w-what it does yet," I said.

"Just stay out of my way and don't think you can stand on the same level as me just because you have some fancy new jewelry quirk," he said, storming off.

"Well, that could've gone worse," I sighed. I dismissed my sacred gear and went to class. After the day was over I went to UA and the ORC club house. I walked in and Rias looked at me and smiled.

"Perfect, Izumi can you take one of Konekos summons? She accidently double booked," Rias said.

"Um, s-sure," I said.

"Thanks," Koneko said, sitting on a couch.

"Alright, so how do we do this?" I asked.

"Well, you just have to use a teleportation circle. Akeno can set this one up for you," Rias said, grining.

"On it," Akeno said, walking to the empty space of the room and closed her eyes and focused. A red pentagram appeared on the floor similar to the one that she made the night before. "Alright, it's ready to go."

"Just step into the middle and focus on your energy. Also a quick warning, this one just normally just likes to have some fun to get rid of stress but don't expect anything too bad," Rias said.

"A-alright," I said. I walked into the middle and then… nothing. "I-is something supposed to happen?"

"It looks like you won't be able to use portals for now. Well, luckily you don't have to go far for this person anyways," Rias said.

"Huh?" I asked.

A few minutes later I was walking to an apartment complex a few miles away from UA. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

"Ah, you must be the new devil Koneko said was coming in her stead. Nice to meet you, you can call me Nemuri," a tall woman with onyx eyes, and dark purple hair said, opening the door. "Come on in," she said, walking away with a sway in her hips.

"U-um, so what do you want to do?" I asked.

"Normaly I have Koneko dress in cute outfits and then we just have fun, but since this is our first time meeting I think we can just talk. I'd like to get to know more about my students and their friends," Nemuri said, smiling.

"Wait, students?" I asked.

"Oh, they didn't tell you I was a teacher did they?" she asked grinning.

"N-no, wait so that makes you a hero right?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm the pro hero Midnight," she said.

"Your debut was one of the most controversial ones there have ever been because of your costume," I said, remembering my research on heroes.

"Wow, you know a lot don't you? I'm guessing you want to be a hero right?" I nodded. "What's your quirk out of curiosity?"

"O-oh, um, well, the thing is I don't have one. But I have this ability similar to one," I said.

"Ah, a sacred gear right? I'm part succubus so I know about the different things, it's part of the reason that I use Rias's peerage," Nemuri said.

"Y-yeah, I'm planning on coming to UA next year and use it as if it was a quirk," I said.

"Well, I'll be looking forward to having you. Well, this has been enjoyable, what do you want for payment?"

"H-huh? Oh, yeah, um, I don't really know. What do you normally give as payment?"

"Normally, well normally I give Koneko some help with homework, however I don't believe you need it from what I've figured out about you from talking. Hmm, how will this suffice?" she asked, getting up. She walked over and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "One of the powers I have from my mother is I can bestow confidence to others and you seem like you could use it," she said offering a sweet and sincere smile I have ever seen.

"Thanks, that'll do," I said. "Well, see you," I said, walking out. I went back to the club house and met up with Rias.

"Well, how was it?"

"Um, good actually. While I was confused at first after we got talking it was enjoyable."

"Yeah, Midnight sensei can be like that," Rias said. "Well, get home and get some rest. You did good work today."

"Thanks," I said.

I walked home and went to sleep. Eventually I woke up earlier than I would on a weekend and got up to go see what Rias wants me to do. I was walking down an empty street when I saw a girl trip and fall. I went over to help her up and froze when I looked down and saw that she was wearing a nuns outfit. Her hair was purple and was in an asymmetrical bob and she had two jacks on her ears. There was only one thought going through my head.

So, yeah this is an idea I had. First off, some characters are being replaced like Kiba and Asia. Also, Izumi will not the Red Dragon Emperor but a different sacred gear that will start out similar but will be different in the end. And yes Midnight is the daughter of a succubus and a human because it makes sense. Next chapter Izumi learns of the battles she will go through while trying to get in UA.
