"…."

"Yeah, I know, but-"

"….-"

"It matters to me, Gavin!"

"…."

"I know…I know, I just really need this"

"…."

"You wouldn't understand why"

"…."

"It would make my job much easier if they were fixed"

"…."

"Look, I'll pay double if you stop asking questions"

"…."

"Thank you"

Ian hung up and sat back in his seat, letting out a long sigh.

Then, a small smile grew on his face.

Finally, they would be fixed.

It wouldn't be done until the day after tonight, but it was going to happen.

Ian got up and grabbed his stuff, getting ready for his shift.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Ian still debated on telling them, or keeping it as a surprise.

"Bye daddy"

Ian stepped into the room and over to the corner, getting down on a knee.

"Hey Foxy"

Just as he expected, her body was rearranged.

"I-I-Ian…"

She sounded sad, Ian didn't like that.

"I know, it hurts…but don't worry, soon the pain will be gone forever"

"What?"

"I found a way to fix you"

Foxy was silent.

Ian laid a hand on her snout gently.

"I promised I would, and I did. By tomorrow you'll be good as new"

"Ia-a-n-"

"Shhh, I'm not joking, I'm not teasing, I would never hurt you like that"

"Bu-bu-but the-e chil-ildren-"

"They won't be able to take you apart, I'll make sure of it"

The broken fox was silent, well…she wasn't speaking.

"I have to visit the others, I'll come back to see you later"

Ian stood up and left the room, making his way to parts and service.

He approached Freddy, kneeling down beside the broken bear.

He woke the bear, deciding to tell each of them the news.

"Hello Ian"

He waited for the bear to stand up.

"Before you go, I have some news for you"

"News?"

"Yes, good news, the next time I wake you up, you'll be fixed good as new"

"…you don't really mean that…"

"Freddy…" Ian placed a hand, very lightly, on the bear's shoulder. "Do you really believe I would play jokes like that?"

"…no, but…"

"You don't believe anyone would be willing to even get close to you like I do"

"We are nothing but trash in their eyes, Ian…they would never even consider fixing us"

"I didn't say it was the company that would fix you"

"…then…who?"

"A friend, he's a professional when it comes to fixing things"

"I…I don't-"

"I understand, you're scared, you don't want to believe it is true because you had lost hope"

"…it is almost frightening how much you understand me…"

"I care for you, Freddy. You, your friends, your counterparts, everyone" he gave the bear a smile. "You guys deserve much better than this, I want to see you all truly happy. No more being afraid"

Ian let the bear go.

"Go ahead, I'll wake your friends and tell them the news.

"Thank you, Ian"

He waited until the bear was gone to get to Bonnie.

"Ian, you're back"

"Yup, and I come bearing news"

"News?"

"Yeah, by this time tomorrow, you'll be completely fixed"

"…fixed?"

"Yeah, you'll get your arm back, fix your hand, get new eyes, you'll be back to the way you were before you arrived here"

"…that is…I…"

"It's not a joke, it's not a prank, it's completely true. I arranged it myself"

"…why would you do this for us?"

"Because, like I've told you a hundred times; I care for you all, like family"

"We are just machines…"

"Bonnie, I don't care if you're a machine, you are hurt, and scared, and sad…and I don't like it"

He lightly put a hand on his shoulder.

"Think about it; you can walk around without worrying about falling apart. You can play your guitar, maybe team up with Toy Bonnie and the two of you can play songs together. Or maybe just play something for your friends"

"I miss playing my guitar…"

"Well soon you'll be able to"

Once the bunny had left, Ian walked over to Chica.

Once she activated, Ian spoke to her.

"Hey, I wanted to let you know that the next time I wake you up, you're going to be fixed like new"

Her eyes expressed confusion for a second before changing to shock, then they changed to a look of slight sadness.

"Hey, I'm not joking, I promised each of you that I'd find a way to fix you, and I did"

It took a moment, but joy could be seen in her eyes.

"The next time you wake up, you'll be able to speak and sing again"

After Chica had left the room, Ian stepped over to the fox.

He stopped for a second, feeling something in his mind.

It was something he hadn't felt in a while.

It felt like a thought in the very back of your mind, one that keeps popping up.

He had something to do after he woke up the fox.

Ian woke Foxy up, explained what he said to his friends, then began to walk to the office.

There, he reached into a belt pouch and pulled out a key.

He stepped up to the door off to the side behind his desk and unlocked it, then stepped inside and closed the door.

"I guess you overheard what I told the old crew" he spoke as he turned toward a figure slumped against the wall.

It looked like old Freddy, but an aged golden yellow.

Two white dots formed where his eyes should be.

"I did"

"Don't think I'm leaving you out, Goldie. I'm going to have you fixed up as well"

"Ian, have you forgotten what I am?"

"I haven't forgotten, this person that is going to fix you, I'm paying him extra to forget all about you after you've been fixed"

"I can not risk any other humans learning about me"

"Goldie, I'm going to ask you something, and I want you to answer me honestly. Don't give me that thing you always say, ok?"

"…"

"Would you rather stay the way you are now; motionless, stuck in one spot. Or would you like to walk around again, be able to move freely like everyone else?"

"…Ian-"

"Answer my question, Cassidy"

"I told you not to use that name…"

"It seems to be the only way to talk sense into you"

"…"

The golden bear's white dot eyes looked away for a moment.

"Being stuck in this…husk, is all I've ever known for years…" his eyes locked back onto his. "I would give anything to be able to move again.."

"Then trust me, Cas. This person is a very good friend of mine. If I thought for a moment that he would go telling anyone about you, I wouldn't let him see you" he stepped over and knelt down by the bear, adjusting his head up straight again.

"You trust me, right?"

"…"

The bear was silent.

"Yes"

"I care for you like all the others"

"None of us could ever repay you for all that you have done"

"I don't expect any of you to, all I want is to make sure the five of you are as happy as the other crew"

"Speaking of them, you should probably go"

"Yeah, just do…whatever it is that you do to call out to me if you want to talk to me"

Ian stepped out of the room and locked it, returning the key to his pouch.

He turned around and almost walked right into old Freddy.

"Oh, hey"

"Is she ok?"

"Yeah, she just wanted to talk for a moment, she overheard what I told you guys"

"She must be worried about revealing us"

"She is, but I'm going to make sure no one knows anything"

"This is a big risk, Ian"

"The reward is well worth the risk"

The bear looked at the door for a second.

"May I?"

"Of course"

Ian unlocked the door again and let Freddy inside.

He then began to think about another problem he had yet to solve.

Spring Bonnie, Goldie talked about him.

Ian wasn't sure where to look in order to find him, but he was working on it.

He was brought out of his thoughts by a pair of arms wrapping around him from behind.

"Hello, Chica"

"Hello~"

Bonnie leaned into him from the front, both girls hugging him.

"Will you play with us tonight, darling?"

"I can't do that, and you both know why"

"She doesn't have to know~"

"Yeah, we won't tell~"

"No, just let me go, please"

"We'll get you eventually"

"I doubt that"

Ian walked away from them.

He made it to the end of the hallway and turned, walking until he reached the main room.

He first spotted old Bonnie, sitting at a table, staring at his broken hand.

Ian took a seat across from him, wondering if he should say something.

"Fixed…"

"Good as new, and you'll be staying that way"

"The company…are they ok with this?"

"I don't care what the company thinks, it's not costing them any money, so they shouldn't care"

"I…-"

"Are you gonna cry?"

"N-no…I'm not crying…am I…?"

Ian chuckled. "It's been a very long and hard time for all five of you, but soon it will be over"

"No more being scared…"

"No more being scared"

XXXXXX

"Ok, where are they?"

"The first one is in here, management shut down the attraction here so you can work on her"

"Her?"

"Yeah, that character"

"Hmh, you really have gotten attached to these things, haven't you?"

"Maybe…"

"Is this one your girlfriend? That's why you want it fixed first?"

"No, she's not my girlfriend, that would be the marionette"

"The what?"

"Shut up and do your job, Gavin"

"Alright, alright…"

The man knelt down in front of Foxy, looking her over.

"Fuckin hell…what happened to it?"

"The children…they tear her apart every day and put her back together"

"Jesus…well all in all, it's an easy fix. I'll just need to reinforce the joints and stuff so it can't be taken apart by anything other than tools"

"Sounds good"

"The only thing I can't fix is the shell"

"I can take care of that tonight"

"Alrighty then"

Ian sat and watched Gavin work, each minute that went by, the better Foxy looked.

After about an hour or two, Foxy was in her correct shape.

All she needs is her plastic coverings back.

"Right, now the other five, where are they?"

"In the parts and service room, this way"

Ian led Gavin through the building, dodging and weaving around frenzied children.

Then they entered the room where the old ones rest.

"Oh…these ones aren't nearly as bad as that last one…"

"Yeah, these guys here were used for spare parts, and also left to rot for quite a while"

"Uh…I only see four in here…"

"The fifth one is a special case, we'll do him last"

"Ok…"

XXXXX

"Well?"

"I could never thank you enough…"

"It's fine, do you remember how to stand up, though?"

"Of course I know how to stand up!"

"Then why don't you stand up?"

"Dh-I just…don't want to, at the moment"

"Freddy, you're not good at lying"

The golden bear sighed.

Ian had walked in on him testing his movements, mainly his arms and his head.

Ian had just walked Gavin out of the building, his shift begins in about ten minutes.

So he decided to check on Goldie.

The bear attempted to stand up, getting on his feet, then tipped forward.

Ian couldn't stop his laugh.

"Ok…I may need some help…"

"I can't exactly help you, you're too heavy for me to lift, I'll go wake up the old ones, I'm sure Freddy would have no problem helping you"

Ian left the room and returned to the Parts and Service room.

The bell for his shift started to ring.

Ian got down beside the bear and clicked his button.

Unlike before, Freddy's eyes opened almost immediately.

"Ian?"

His voice was no longer warped.

"Hey Fred, you're good as new, just like I said"

Freddy sat up, looking at his hands.

He was silent for a moment, before he stood up with no issues or need of using the wall.

"I…I can move so easily…and I don't feel any pain…"

"Hey" Ian held up the bear's hat.

"Ah, thank you…"

"Golden Freddy is fixed up to, but it seems he's forgotten how to stand and walk"

"Oh no…"

"He needs your help"

"Right!"

The bear left the room, Ian went over to Bonnie. He grabbed the bunny's guitar and placed it close by, then turned him on.

"Ian?"

"Hey"

"I-I can see…it's not all red anymore…"

"Just like I said"

"Yeah…"

"Hey"

"Yes?"

Ian stood up and presented the guitar.

"M-my guitar…" the bunny stood up and grabbed it. "It's clean…"

"Yup, I cleaned it myself while you were being fixed"

"You really are doing too much for us, we-"

"Are not just machines, Bonnie. And if you keep saying that I'll tell Freddy what really happened to his hat that one day"

"O-ok, ok, I'll stop…"

"Good, now go"

Next was Chica, Ian approached and knelt down.

Her eyes opened, she looked at him.

"Hey, how do you feel?"

"I…I-I feel…good"

"And you can speak again"

Ian was unprepared for the chicken to hug him suddenly and tightly, not too tightly though.

"Ian! Thank you so much! Im so happy!"

"Im glad, but I've got something for you"

She let him go.

"Something for me?"

Ian presented her the Cupcake she always held before she lost her hands.

"My cupcake!"

She took it and held it, then looked back at Ian.

"Thank you, Ian…"

"You're welcome"

XXXXX

Now, the pirate.

The fox's one eye opened, he sat up.

"Rise and shine, Captain, it's a new dawn"

"Aye, a new-…" the fox cut himself off.

"I…I can speak?"

"Yup, you're fixed, good as new"

The fox looked at himself, being silent for a moment.

"Sweet mother a Davy Jones…ye were speakin tha truth…"

"The rest of your crew is waiting for you"

"Aye, time ta plot a new course, one that be leadin ta new lands!"

"Aye aye, Captain"

Ian followed the fox out of the room, splitting off as he joined Bonnie and Chica.

He had another fox to visit.

XXXX

Before Ian went to visit Toy Foxy, he walked down to the office and found Freddy and Goldie there.

The old golden bear was standing, not leaning on the wall or seeming off balance.

"Look at you! standing up all on your own!"

"Very funny"

"How does it feel?"

"…it feels good"

"I'd like to talk to you about something, but I have someone else to visit first"

XXXXXX

"Foxy?"

"Ian…"

He stepped over to her.

"I-Mhh!?"

As soon as he got close enough, she reached out and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him into a kiss.

She let him go after a second.

"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that"

"Heh…I should have expected that…"

"Don't get used to it"

Ian looked behind him to see Mary with her hands on her hips.

"He's mine"

Foxy hugged his arm. "What if I want him?"

"You can't have him"

"Girls-"

""Hush""

Ian sighed.

"The only reason you think he's yours is because I couldn't do anything, now that I'm fixed, I'm taking him back"

"He was never yours"

Foxy let go of him and stepped up to Mary, the height difference made it comical in a way.

"I bet he wouldn't be so interested in you if you didn't have those huge tits"

"Aww~ is someone jealous?"

"As if! I don't need-"

That was the last thing Ian heard before he finally snuck out of the room.

Things are going to be more difficult…

XXXXX

"What is it you wanted to speak about?"

"I want to talk about the future, now that you're all fixed, things will begin to change"

"You are right, we can only hope the changes are for the best"

The sound of a guitar being strummed could be heard from outside the room.

"I expect you to socialize now that you can move, no more excuses"

"It would be best if I stayed away"

"Come on, you need to talk to everyone eventually"

"Not necessarily"

"If you won't come out there, I'll have them come in here"

The bear sighed.

"Fine…"

"Good"
