Dr. Nabe studied Toga for a moment and then went to her notebook and read over what she'd written. "Toga is obsessed with Izuku to a zealous degree. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that her "love" for Izuku burns to this day. She is not oblivious to the wrong she's done in that she denies that it was wrong. Instead, she sees it as a necessary evil for her to help Izuku." As Dr. Nabe read this a question crossed her mind. "Himiko you have an addiction to blood right?" She said as Toga cocked her head to the side.

"I'm not addicted, but I do like it. Especially if it's from someone I love. The taste of it, the feel of it on my tongue, it's the only real way I can truly love someone and know them inside and out. It's not an addiction it's an expression of love!" She said excitedly her pearl white teeth glinting in the light. Dr. Nabe took a moment to compose herself.

"Yes, I see, well I know that you often assaulted people for their blood, draining them dry while you were active, and yet while you were with Izuku not a single crime of that nature occurred. Can you tell me why?" Dr. Nabe couldn't see a reason why Toga would just stop cold turkey like that. From what she understood of serial killers once they started they couldn't stop. It became worse than a habit it was a dire need that they commit their signature acts, and yet Himiko stood in defiance of that theory.

Himiko looked at Dr. Nabe as a smile began to slowly spread over her face. As it did her body began shaking with laughter. "Isn't it obvious Doctor? I didn't need any blood because the person I loved was right next to me, every day, every night always with me. I didn't need to feel close to anyone else because he was there." She said shaking her head. Dr. Nabe opened her mouth to speak again before the door behind her opened and there stood Shoto.

"It's time to go Dr. Nabe. Time is up." He said stoically his two-tone eyes never leaving Toga who simply frowned.

"Aww, but our girl talk isn't over yet." She whined slumping in her chair as Dr. Nabe stood up smoothing her attire and stretching some. She hadn't realized how stiffly she'd been sitting until she stood up.

"It was nice meeting you Himiko. Thank you for being so cooperative." She said giving Himiko a bow as the blonde eyed her before shrugging.

"I was bored, but do tell Izuku that I want to see him, very soon." She said licking her lips slowly as Dr. Nabe retreated past Shoto who promptly shut the door on Toga. The two walked in silence until they were outside of Tartarus only then did Shoto speak. The hero crossed his arms and looked at Dr. Nabe.

"So Dr. Nabe did you find out what you needed to?" He asked bluntly as Dr. Nabe took a breath as she collected her thoughts.

"The short answer is yes. I see what kind of person Toga is and I now have both sides of the story. As they say, there are three sides to every story in this case it's Izuku's side, Toga's side, and the truth. Now that I have both I can see what the truth is I feel I know how to go forward with Izuku's treatment. I can't thank you enough for this Shoto. Izuku is lucky to have a friend like you." She said as she went to get into her car and left. Shoto watched her go before making his own way from Tartarus. He'd taken a really big risk in doing this, but after everything Izuku has done for him over the course of their friendship this was the least he could do.

Izuku sat across from Tsu in the nearby tea shop. It wasn't anything fancy or large like a Starbucks. It was a mom-and-pop shop currently run by its third-generation owners. Izuku hadn't really been in the shop, but he'd spotted the owners around town and talked to them on occasion. Izuku swirled his green tea boba watching the white pearls swirl around the thick green mixture before he drew a couple up into his straw.

"Huh, so this is Boba." He said crushing the tapioca pearls with his tongue as he looked to Tsu who was drinking a peach tea boba. Her eyes were looking out the window before feeling him looking at her and locked eyes with him. She tried to control her blood to keep it from rushing to her face as she took a deep breath.

"I-I guess it is." She said as Izuku smiled.

"You haven't changed Tsu. You were always a woman of few words, but everything you said was always impactful. Sometimes I really needed that." He said wistfully as Tsu couldn't help, but blush. Izuku always seemed so pleased with everything she did, even back when she'd said those horrible things to him and Iida about going to save Bakugou. He came back and accepted her apology as if nothing had happened.

"Anyway, how have things been with Selkie?" He asked looking at her as she sipped her tea.

"They've been good he's still the same as he was when I first interned under him. We recently prevented an oil spill so that's something." She said as Izuku nodded listening to her story as if it was prime time television. To most folks, it would be, but this was Deku the number one hero! Stopping oil spills was hardly an event for someone who could hold a collapsing building together until people got out or stop a bullet train with energy threads.

And yet Izuku was absorbed by her story all the same. She coughed a little. Izuku hadn't really changed at least not from where she stood. He was still the hero-obsessed nerd he always had been. Tsu took solace in the fact that her friend no matter how high he'd risen he was still the same old Izuku. She shook herself a little. This isn't what we're here for Tsu. Focus! She mentally chastised herself. "Anyway, Izuku I wanted to see how you were doing. We didn't really get a chance to talk the last time we met, so I figured we could catch up. Talk about anything that's been going on with us. You know any new developments with your daughter, or um romantic interests." She said and immediately kicked herself.

Real smooth Tsu that's the way to get him to open up. Start grilling him about his daughter and love life. Why was she so terrible at this? It wasn't like Tsu was a stranger to dating she'd had a few relationships, but they'd all ended for one reason or another. Not something as dramatic or intense as Izuku and Ochaco's, but ended all the same. The last boyfriend she had, had told her that she was just too unreadable. She didn't open up enough with him. Tsu didn't want to make that mistake again, but she also didn't want to just unload on Izuku when he was clearly dealing with heavy subjects of his own.

Izuku looked up as Tsu asked him about his life and he gave a genuine smile. "If you had asked me that a year hell even six months ago I would have probably tried to dodge the question or just lie and say everything is fine, but now I don't have to. Things are going well. Hinako and I are in a better place. We're open with one another about what we're feeling and what we want. Just this morning she asked me if I would enroll her back in school."

Tsu had no idea that Hinako was in a traditional school so this was news to her but the look on Izuku's face as he talked about his daughter stirred something in Tsu as she watched the proud father talk about his daughter. She could see the paternal joy on his face as he explained his excitement of having Hinako back in school. "I want her to be happy and have a good high school life as we did." He said chuckling as Tsu stared at him.

"You mean getting attacked by villains every few months and then having one of her classmates divulge to her that they have a power that's been inherited by the number one hero?" She asked bluntly as a sledgehammer. Tsu's eyes widened marginally at that as she bit her tongue realizing how what she'd just said came out. Just as she was about to try and take it back Izuku burst into laughter, a genuine guffaw of amusement. Izuku wiped a tear from his face as he looked at Tsu.

"Tsu I knew you were going to say something like that. True our high school life may have been too exciting, but looking back on it, wasn't it also fun. Think about it if our school years hadn't been like that we probably wouldn't be as close as we are. I want Hinako to make friends as we did. Friends who even after years apart can still drop in on one another and chat like we're still in UA's cafeteria. Believe it or not, I actually get a text or two from Kacchan about once or twice a year." He said with a chuckle thinking about his friend/not friend.

Tsu looked at him and smiled at that. Imagining the contents of said texts would probably offend anyone but Izuku. "I'm glad you seem so much better. After you and Ochaco split none of us really heard from you or her, next thing we knew you were climbing the hero billboard like a madman. Most of us just assumed you were pouring everything you had into work is all. Then you became the number one hero. We tried to reach out to you to celebrate, but you always said you were too busy." She said before noticing the look on Izuku's face. His eyes were far and away as she said that.

"I-I guess I was." He said, but on the inside, he was railing against Himiko. He never got any of those messages let alone spoke to any of his friends about them. Of course, he got a few well wishes, but he never heard anything about celebrating with them. He was just too blind to everything except his so-called "perfect" world. Wanting to change the subject Izuku remembered one of the questions Tsu had asked him. "Oh um no I-I don't really have anyone like that in my life. It's just been me and Hinako for so long guess I just kind of forgot how to be in a relationship." He said blushing.

He'd never thought about dating again. He was kind of…scarred in a way he supposed. It wasn't that he didn't find women attractive or want to be in a relationship, but it scared him. The last two relationships hadn't ended well at all. Sure it was because of Himiko's tampering, but still. How could he go out and find someone new knowing what he knew? Plus it wasn't just his feelings he needed to worry about. Hinako and he had just found a stable place in their relationship.

Adding someone new to their recent equilibrium he wasn't sure that was a good idea. Tsu saw the look on Izuku's face. He'd always been easy to read wearing all his emotions on his sleeve. He was terrified, and from what she'd learned from Ochaco she could see why. Tsu took a deep breath. If she was going to make any progress it was time to put her cards on the table. "Izuku I know what happened between you and Ochaco and…Toga." Tsu watched as primal fear warped Izuku's face. His eyes widened as his pupils shrank his mouth opened slightly and ragged breathing passed over his suddenly dry lips.

The transformation was nearly instant and it shook Tsu to see one of the strongest people she knew become so terrified at just a few simple words. The image of Izuku cracking under her words brought to mind the memory of All Might's fight with All for One. Something the villain had said during the fight had shaken the hero so much he was left similarly to Izuku now. She may not have been able to do anything for her teacher back then, but she could do something for Izuku now.

Izuku's hand shook terribly nearly spilling his tea before Tsu reached over and placed her atop his. "I know and I don't blame you," Tsu said her blunt words shattering the grip of the creeping dread that was squeezing Izuku's very soul.

"Y-yo-you don't?" He asked as Tsu slowly shook her head, her green hair wafting back and forth with the movement.

"It wasn't your fault and those aren't just my words, Ochaco feels the same." She said as Izuku's green eyes locked onto her own verdant green orbs.

"Sh-she told you." It wasn't a question it was a statement of fact. Tsu nodded.

"Yes, she told me what happened and how you and she were both victims of Toga's machinations, of course, she takes responsibility for her own actions. She knows that Toga was responsible, but she still made her own choices." Izuku looked at her before opening his mouth.

"W-wh-why?" That was the only word he could say as he felt Tsu squeeze his hand.

"She told me about it and then after told me that I should follow my feelings. I-I've always liked you Izuku. You've been a great friend, but I want more than friendship." Tsu whispered. Izuku could feel her hand shaking as she confessed her feelings.

As the two adults sat in the café pouring out their feelings several booths over behind a well-placed potted plant sat a young girl her face hidden behind a garish pair of sunglasses. She wore a thick jacket and scarf that was positively sweltering in the warm café. Hinako really wished she could take off the accursed articles of clothing, but she was afraid that the slightest movement might catch the attention of the two adults a couple of booths over.

In an attempt to relieve the heat she downed some more of the iced coffee she ordered as she listened to the two adults speak. Her dad of course was oblivious to the feelings that the Tsu woman had for him, and would no doubt be floored when she confessed. Hinako had no idea what possessed her to follow her dad on this "date"? It wasn't like she was jealous or worried her dad would be stolen away from her, so what was it? Was she just morbidly curious about what her dad might say?

Now that she thought about she'd never seen her father with a woman, not that she had really looked, but in hindsight, it was a bit odd. Her father was the number one hero shouldn't he have a woman of his own if not several? Hearing a new exchange startup Hinako tuned back in as her dad explained why he was still single. Hinako sighed at the explanation. Of course, it had to do with her. How quickly she forgot how much of a cunt she'd been to her dad until recently and even then working out their differences and saving Japan didn't leave much time for a love life.

Even if her dad could make room for a lover it's not like he could have brought her home to his train wreck of a daughter. Then or now Hinako was always costing her dad something. She slouched in her chair until she heard Tsu mention her mother. Against her better judgment, she sat up straighter intent on listening to anything regarding Himiko Toga. It wasn't anything she didn't already know, but after that letdown came to the real payoff as Tsuyu confessed her feelings for her father.

Hinako clamped her hand over her mouth to keep herself from gasping. Tsu really didn't fuck around it seemed. What would her dad say? Of course, he would have to say yes. Why wouldn't he? Tsu knew everything and she still wanted to be with him, be with them? If her dad said yes that would make Tsuyu a part of her life as well. Would that be ok? Is that something she wanted? Dr. Nabe was always talking about asking herself what she wanted. What did she want? Hinako like her father lapsed into silence as their thoughts bounced around their skulls. The two were alike in that way.

She looked back at the face her father was making and she knew that face well. He was thinking of saying no. She had no doubt that her father was thinking of her, and how his saying yes would affect her. She quickly reached into her pocket to pull out her phone and began typing a text message to her father.

Izuku was still in his head, but he had to do what was best for Hinako in this situation. He liked Tsu she was one of his best friends in school, and he knew that she was a good person, but most of all she knew about what had happened to him and Ochaco and was ok with it. He wanted to say yes, but he just couldn't. "Tsu look I um I really like you, but-" Before Izuku could continue his phone signaled a text message, but not just from anyone this was the ringtone that he put in for Hinako.

He looked at his phone and opened it seeing it was indeed a message from Hinako. "Made it home dad, remember do what you want. Dr. Nabe says it's ok to be selfish." Izuku read the message a couple of times making sure of what he was reading and then resisted the urge to look around and see if Hinako was somehow spying on him. He shook his head. Hinako's at home there's no way she could know why or how much I needed to hear that." He thought to himself before sighing and looking up at Tsu.

She'd been patiently waiting on his next words and he couldn't help, but feel guilty. He didn't mean to leave her hanging like that. "Sorry, Tsu just Hinako checking in, um as I was saying I do like you and…I think it's time that I start to move on in other ways. With Hinako going back to school I'll have a lot more time on my hands, and I'd like to spend it with you." He said placing his hand atop Tsu's sandwiching her hand between his calloused palms.

Tsu looked at Izuku for a moment her mind taking its time to comprehend what he just said before she smiled at him and gripped his hand gently. "Ok Izuku I-I'd like that too." She said with a deep blush forming on her face.

From her hiding spot, Hinako congratulated herself on averting a crisis. "Guess I can't let you out of my sight either dad." She said shaking her head as she paid for her drink and left giving her dad and his…girlfriend (?) a wide berth as she exited out the shop and really called a cab to take her back home now. "Guess we both are putting ourselves in new situations now aren't we dad." She stated to herself.

"How are you doing Izuku?" Dr. Nabe asked as the hero sat down. Immediately she could tell he was in a good mood. His eyes were bright and he had a smile on his face. The weight of his burdens was near if not fully gone or at least he'd found a better way to carry it. It had been a couple of weeks since her visit with Himiko Toga. She'd wanted to give herself a breather before returning to Izuku and Hinako. The green-haired hero smiled.

"Well, I feel really good a lot of stuff has happened since our last session." He said as he ran a hand through his hair. Thinking about everything that had happened in these last few weeks all of it was good. Dr. Nabe chuckled and nodded.

"I'm glad to hear that Izuku would you like to talk about it?" She asked as Izuku smiled.

"I would. First off Hinako asked me to enroll her back in school." Dr. Nabe nodded having heard Hinako's desire prior to her asking her father.

"And what was your answer?" Dr. Nabe asked as Izuku grinned bashfully.

"Well I told her, yes, but I wanted her to be sure this is what she wanted. She said it was, so we've been going through schools that she can go to. It's been fun really. Doing things like this; was never something I thought the two of us could ever do." He said rubbing his face remembering where they were just a year ago and how far they'd come it was enough to bring tears to his eyes.

Dr. Nabe nodded happily glad they were able to talk about this and come to a positive decision. "Is one of those schools UA?" She asked as Izuku looked up at her confused before shaking his head.

"Oh no, no, no Hinako has no interest in being a hero, and I'm grateful for that. With everything that's gone on in her life I don't want her to add any more stress to it. As a hero, I know full well what she would be going through. No, I want her to have a happy and normal life and I think she wants the same. We've both had enough drama to last us a lifetime." Izuku said with a deep sigh. Dr. Nabe looked at the hero as she leaned forward.

"Well if you two have talked about it then there's nothing more to be said, now what else has happened?" She asked as Izuku smirked at that and nodded.

"Well, I've started a relationship with an old classmate of mine the heroine Froppy. She confessed to me about a week ago. We talked and well we started dating I guess. I don't really know. It's been so long since I've been on a date, and back then I was a teenager. Dating as an adult is…different, at least I think it should be. We're both just trying to find our footing really." He explained as best he could. He and Tsu really didn't know what they were doing besides going out and having fun.

Dr. Nabe took a few notes before speaking. "It's perfectly fine for the two of you not to be sure. Your last relationship started in high school and spanned years before it ended. No one should expect you to jump right back in the deep end. It's ok to take things slow, and from what you've told me of her. It seems Froppy is just as unsure as you. As long as the two of you acknowledge that and keep in mind how you feel about one another I think things will go just fine. If you want why don't you tell me about one of your dates."

Izuku coughed as he rubbed his head. "Umm ok Doctor."

Izuku stood in front of the mirror in his room as he looked over his current clothing choice. It was a blue t-shirt with a red UA emblazoned on the front. He was wearing blue jeans and a pair of boots. "I think this looks good." He said before hearing a gasp.

"You can't be serious, dad. You are not thinking of going on a date dressed like that are you?" Hinako said looking at her dad and shaking her head.

Izuku looked at her confused as he looked back at his reflection. "What, what's wrong with this?" He asked immediately scrutinizing his attire as his daughter walked in and shook her head. "Oh, this is not first date attire dad. I know you and Asui are old classmates, so you don't really have to worry about making a first impression, but you've got to show some effort dad." She said as she went to his closet and looked through his clothes. "Here we go." She said pulling down a short sleeve emerald green dress shirt.

"First off no t-shirts dad, here wear this." She said as Izuku looked at the shirt. "Hinako I don't know this might be a little too much. Tsu and I are just going to have dinner. I don't want to up the pressure by dressing overly nice." He said as Hinako gave the longest sigh he'd ever heard. He was almost scared that she might pass out from the sheer amount of air she was breathing out.

"Dad that's what women like put in all the effort. Show her that yes this may be just dinner, but it's just dinner with her! Show her she makes something so simple worthy of you dressing up. Now just put on the shirt." She said as she moved to her dad's dresser and went through his pants before finding a nice pair of black slacks which she threw on her dad's bed. "Jeans are out too dad put those on and then we finish it off with this." She said placing a black suit coat next to the slacks. "Alright, this should do. Let me know when you're done." She said walking out of his bedroom and to the bathroom. She opened the cabinet and sighed. Her dad's collection of cologne was pitiful, but she would make do.

Dr. Nabe gave a small chuckle at the story Izuku was telling. "Well, it seems that Hinako is being quite supportive of your efforts." She said waving her hand to dispel the last of her giggles. Izuku just blushed.

"I've never been one to dress up Ochaco and I weren't that kind of couple, so I was a bit out of my wheelhouse." He explained scratching his head. He never knew Hinako was so knowledgeable about dating, but he should have guessed as much. Hinako was just that amazing.

Izuku walked out of his room standing in front of Hinako who gave him a light spritz with his cologne. He coughed a little. "Hinako I don't know if all this is necessary." He said as Hinako shook her head.

"Trust me, dad." That was all she said as the doorbell rang. Hinako looked at her father before grinning and rushing to the door before he could get to it. Izuku rounded the corner just as Hinako opened the door and revealed Tsuyu Asui. The adult heroine was dressed in a deep green long sleeve shirt that fell below her shoulders. She was wearing a deep blue pair of leggings and black heels. For the first time in his memory, Izuku saw that Tsu was wearing lipstick a brilliant red adorning her lips. Hinako could see the much lighter and subtler touches of Tsu's makeup.

"Uh hello?" Tsu said as she noticed the pair of Midoriya's staring at her, but she was just as guilty as she looked at Izuku dressed so well and she could catch the light scent of his cologne as he walked over.

"Uh hi Tsu," Izuku said reaching to scratch the back of his head only for Hinako to grab his arm.

"It's so nice to see you again Ms. Asui," Hinako said garnering both adults' attention.

"Um, you can call me Tsu or Tsuyu is fine Hinako." She said with a small smile as Izuku smiled back.

"Uh yeah well Hinako Tsu and I are going to be gone for a bit. I left some money for takeout if you want, and I'll see you later tonight." He said looking between the two of them before kissing Hinako on her forehead. The young girl was stunned for a moment before blushing and pushing her dad.

"Yeah well yeah g'night." She said shutting the door as she placed a hand on her forehead.

"It was the first time since she was a little girl that I gave her physical affection," Izuku said smiling at the warmth in his chest at the memory.

"I see that you're very happy about it." Dr. Nabe said as Izuku nodded.

"Yeah what with Hinako going to school soon I thought I should get it in while I can." He said as Dr. Nabe took a few notes. "So Izuku did your date go well?" She asked as Izuku smiled.

"Yeah, it did." He said remembering back to his date with Tsu.
