"In the dark that surrounded him, his sword bellowed thunder when swung at the Dark Lord's minions, with lightning piercing their unholy gazes..."

They were mere welps for their master's will and the bargain he made with the angel of deceit for their conquest of more world's.

Salec Ma'ill, the Fireborne Baron in charge of the group of the large group of demons had grown weary of waiting for the hairless apes coming to them when they could just kill the ones in the carriages of light in their ignorance.

{Start bringing the flesh needed for the portal to our master from the boxes of light that gave passed so many times, you worms...} Ma'ill said to the imps and possessed before him, the area around the baron becoming hotter as the imps and zombies scurried and shambled off to do as their better asked.

'The portal will be opened soon...' the demon thought to himself as the hell-knights started to follow the imps, to make sure they followed their orders...

Peter was running late. That was the one thing on his mind as he hoped onto the bus at the last minute, his backpack almost getting caught when he went through the turnstile heading to the subway.

'I need to make this interview on time...' he thought to himself as he boarded in the Harlem-125th to get to Joe's Pizza, his backpack holding his "other" suit in case trouble arrived on the way.

As he took a seat on the train, he noticed a Spiderman sticker across from where he was sitting and internally smiled for a minute before getting a tingling on his neck, and the car being lurched to slthe side a few second later, and noticed the shadows moving outside but distinctly humanoid.

Peter quickly looked to see the few other passengers looking terrified as the car lurched again.

'Why did this need to happen today...' the teen thought to himself as he pulled out a red mask...

[Detecting a minut spike of Argent Energy in the New England area of North America. Please stand by while I coordinate where to drop a portal.]

The occupant nodded, heading to the armory of the floating fortress to retrieve a few items, and a dear friend as Vega prepared the portal.

"You do realize that they haven't gathered their forces yet, meaning they're scared, right?" a steely cold voice asked, the Slayer ignoring him as he gathered the shells he would almost emedietly spend when he landed.

[Are you referring to the ones found in these, doctor Hayden?] Vega asked, a hologram of a massive beast being punched in the face by a green humanoid monster, about as large or slightly smaller as a Baron of Hell.

The Slayer merely continued to lock and load, ignoring the AI as he found himself satisfied for the moment, stepping back into the command center and pressed the rune to activate the portal.

[Coordinate calculations aren't final-]

"Just send him as close as you can, maybe he'll make some new friends." the calculating cyborg said, the Slayer giving the man's remains a glare as Vega open up the portal, the Slayer cocking his combat shotgun as he stepped through, a slight chill going through his spine as he was teleported into the center of New York, much to the suprise of the many civilians...

Authors Notes:

Finally, the Slayer gets some action, but has yet to do actual fighting. Also, I hope that the web-head's intro was alright, and that you people got the slight easter egg with it, so yeah.

I thought I might start listing off shows I'm watching and games I'm playing during quarantine just to pass the time.

Shows Currently Binging: Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, and The King's Avatar

Games I'm Playing: Journey, and trying to platinum trophy Doom: Eternal

Now onto answering some of your questions...

edboy4926: I hope this chapter answered your question, but overall he won't do much for now with the plot.

CasualFictionWriter23: Maybe, just need to wait and see.

I do read every review, so feel free to let me know how I can try and improve my writing. I'll also answer any questions you may have that won't effect the plot.
