"Alas, after untold melenia of fighting, the demons tricked the Unchained Predator and brought down one of their unholy sanctums on top of him, just to lock him away for eternity..."

Jennifer had been having a great day; she had woken up on time, checked on her neighbor's pets while they were out of state, and had finally gotten around to reading the book she had in her backlog for over a month.

Now she had was going to be having lunch with her as of yet undeclared boyfriend, so she was very content with how her day was going as she layed out a blanket in Central Park, and looked at the Avengers Tower wondering if they ever took a moment to rest...

"Jenny, over here!" a taller man said, giving her a wave as he approached her, wearing a baseball cap and denim jacket, receiving one in return as he joined her.

"Steve, I said you to stop wearing that dumb cap. You're to handsome to cover that face." she said with a laugh as she jogged over to him before quickly hugging him tightly.

"Maybe, but then other women might try to take me from you." he half joked, even though his physique already made him somewhat stand out. Being just over six feet tall and looking like a human sized hulk, he was hard to miss.

She jokingly stuck her tongue out at him.

"So, what did you bring for lunch?" she asked, changing the subject as she saw some people begin to stare at them and tried to push him into a walk.

"Well..." he started, but was cut off as he began to feel the ground rumble and people scream and run from Bethesda fountain.

The brickwork surrounding the fountain cracked as it looked like something beneath the ground was moving towards the center of the fountain.

"Steve, come on!" Jennifer said in a paniced tone, pulling at her companion hard and away from whatever was happening. She just wanted them safe.

Steve however was stalwart as a massive crack opened up into the ground, before all the shaking stopped as suddenly as it had started. Smoke however slowly began to rise from the crack, and the sound of movement from inside it made the man uneasy.

He then turned to the person he had come to see with a serious look on his face.

"Get somewhere safe." he said simply as a massive roar came from below the ground, and small humanoids began to rise out of the pit.

On the other side of the massive fountain, Steve and many others that had stayed for any ungodly reason saw what looked like a blue portal form, and only one armored figure emerge before it disappeared behind them.

So, I return after leaving this on hiatus for quite a while?

Short answer: Maybe.

Slightly longer answer: I'm unsure, as i've just finished my first semester of collage and also have other sourses of inspiration to write about.

Curently thinking of doing something either Ark or Minecraft related soon, but have also started a new piece that'll be more just small stories I think of in Destiny, which in my opinion is the best looter-shooter game(curently really excited for Witch Queen)

Anyway, if you've made it this far I hope you are doing well, and that everyone is having a happy holiday.
