Lady Countryrose

Ch. 21

A year passed. With that, the three houses were compelled within three months. They moved into a three bedroom and two bathroom home. With an open floor plan.

Lucy and Gajeel's house was a light pink with white trim. They had arguments about the color scheme, but Lucy won in the end. But Gajeel claimed that the walls would be white. Leaving cupboards pink with gold accesses.

In Hermione and Cobra's home was teal and gray trim. The walls were a lighter gray and floors a medium gray. Making the cupboards teal and silver accesses.

Grace and Midnight had a sage green house, with creamy yellow trim. Creamy yellow walls, medium green cupboards, with copper assesses. Midnight loved the colors, saying he was tired of dark places.

Since the wives couldn't go on missions. The guys would take turns. Leaving one home to watch the families. But the eighth month, none of them had gone out on a job.

At eight and a half months. They had to rush their wives to the Hospital. Where Wendy was there on standby. In case of any issues.

At nine fifty-two at night. Three sets of twins were born. Lucy had gotten her wish, she didn't just get one boy, but two. Hermione had gotten two girls. While Grace had one of each.

The hospital had tried separating everyone into their own rooms. Only to find home strongly they want to be together.

Wendy came in to check the families. She smiled when she picked up Lucy's firstborn. Blonde hair and red eyes. "He has Celestial Dragon Slayer magic," she smiled wholeheartedly.

"Draco," Lucy turned to Gajeel with a teary smile. Pleading with her eyes. "I want to name him Draco."

Gajeel smiled, "Yeah, Bunny Girl. He'll be Draco."

Wendy gave Draco to Lucy. Before picking up the other child. "He has Iron Dragon Slayer magic, like you, Gajeel." Giving him a black haired and brown-gold eyes.

Gajeel smiled, "I would like to name you, Atlas."

Lucy gaped at him in wonder. "The God who held the world on his shoulders?"

Gajeel shrugged his own shoulders. "I like the name."

Lucy smiled in agreement.

Wendy then went to Hermione and picked up the firstborn girl. Who had brown hair and purple eyes.

Wendy smiled, "She has Earth Dragon Slayer magic." She then gave the child to Cobra.

He held her close. "Hi Ivy, my little flower."

Wendy then picked up a girl with auburn hair and golden-brown eyes. "She has Ice Dragon Slayer magic." Wendy gave her the girl.

"Rose," she smiled at Cobra. "I'm naming her, Rose."

Wendy then picked up a boy. "He has Illusion magic." Before giving him to Midnight.

He blinked at the boy with red-brown hair and red eyes. He took a deep breath. "Hawk, I want to name him Hawk."

Wendy picked up a girl with black hair and blue-green eyes. "She has Reflector magic." Before giving her to Grace.

"Robin," Grace smiled at the girl.

Wendy giggled, "Perfect names for the perfect babies. Everyone can't wait to meet them."

Cobra glared, "That hot head, better have Kitten gloves when dealing with them!"

Gajeel shivered, "Erza better not have her armor on. Atlas might think of her as food."

Midnight groaned, pulling Hawk closer to him. "I might have to use my magic against everyone."

"Just launch them out the door," supplied Gajeel.

Cobra was chucking at the images from everyone's soul. Especially from Lucy. Seeing Natsu being thrown enough to knock him out for a day.

A month later. They had taken the children to the guild for the first time. Only to have Mira feint from the cuteness of it all.

Natsu had made his way over to Lucy. He walked ever so lightly and talked, ever so softly. A polar opposite than he normally acts. When he held Draco in his arms. He laid on the floor, holding the child close, and fell asleep.

Gajeel gaped and looked at Lucy. "If I had known that getting you pregnant and having our child in his arms would render him unmovable. I think I could have won our first fight."

Lucy took Atlas from him. Then hit him over the head. "Daddy better be happy with two kids with that statement," she told her son.

Cobra whispered to Gajeel. "I know what you mean." He looks at Natsu's soul. "Draco seems to calm him. Thinking about his dragon, Igneel for some reason."

Midnight sighed, laying on the floor himself, with Robin in his arms. She seemed to take after him the most. Always wanting to sleep. "I'm just glad he's mellowed right now. Letting the kids get used to everything."

The three mothers had given each a knowing smile. Each thinking what life would have been like. If things hadn't worked the way that they had done.

Lucy knew that she might have married Natsu out of friendship and the closeness that she had felt. Every day that they had been out on a job together.

Hermione knew that she would have settled for Ronald Weasley, since they had grown close throughout their years together. Settling for a job at the Ministry, since she had passion for the underdogs in society. Working for the welfare of non-wizard kind in the magical world.

While Grace would have been stuck in limbo. Not because of her learning magic secondhand. But also neither world would have been enough for her. Always wanted to know more about the magical world and not be a part of it. While living in the muggle world and knew that there was something more out in the world than just a norm.

In all together, the three women were happy. It may not have been the dreamlike perfection that they had pictured when they were children. But it was a life worth living. As they felt the love that had for the husbands and children. Knowing that they are equally loved in return.
