Chapter Twenty-Eight: Released

Rebecca was startled as the gate receded up into the ceiling.

"What happened? What did I press?" Chris said as he looked around in confusion.

"Uh, you didn't touch anything," Jill said beside him.

The group looked around, then Rebecca paused, a relieved smile forming. "Richard and Star must have deactivated the trap! We can get out of here now!"

Chains snapped behind them as something heavy crashed to the floor, the S.T.A.R.S. members startled by the impact as they all leapt in fright.

"JESUS!" Joseph gave a startled yelp as he jumped up, whirling around with the others with their firearms raised.

Rebecca shakily aimed her weapon down the crypt, her face damp and sweaty.

The coffin had smashed into the stone floor and was wavering unsteadily upright, the chains supporting it completely shattered. The box wobbled for several moments, then fell back with a heavy clatter that made the survivors wince.

Rebecca wiped her forehead, her weapon trained on the coffin itself along the others, their eyes narrowing in suspicion.

Gears grinded endlessly, the lit torches crackling.

The survivors remained locked in place, their forms deathly stiff and still.

"...What happened?" Rebecca asked quietly, her voice barely raised above a whisper, as if for fear of being heard. "What caused it to fall?"

Chris glanced up at the ceiling, studying the spot where the coffin had hung. "Chains must have been old and rusty as hell." He then waved the group over to the open doorway. "We should leave before-"

He was cut off as the lid was pushed to the side, the group falling silent as a figure rose from its box, arcing its back unnaturally as it awkwardly stumbled.

"Christ on a bike," Joseph muttered.

A man loomed before them with manacles bound to his clawed wrists, his once fancy clothes worn and filthy. His grey blazer was covered in dirt and had faded to a more dirty brown, the sleeves torn with various holes, his khaki shirt and pants moldy and stained. Long straggly hair clung to the remnants of its red, bloodied skull-like head, giving it the look of a rotting feral animal, its eyes completely whited out. As it straightened itself up, it coughed, hacking up dust and mold, much to everyone's disgust, the creature lowering its eyes to face them.

"Uhh, guys? I think that's our cue to GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" Joseph said, screaming the last part as the red zombie started to charge toward them quickly.

As Joseph raised his shotgun to fire, the creature skidded to a halt, catching everyone off-guard.

"What the hell?"

The creature wavered unsteadily, rolling its eyes back into its head as it stumbled and lost its balance, collapsing against a wall. Turning around, it then rested its forehead against it, using it for support. For three minutes, it remained motionless.

Rebecca looked at the other survivors in confusion, then turned her attention back to their "guest".

"Umm...hello?" she squeaked.

Hearing her voice, the creature slowly pushed itself off the wall and turned to face them, its horrible face and eyes unreadable. Staring into its eyes, Rebecca felt sick from looking at them. Looking in to them. It was like staring into a glass marble - so plastic and fake. So...empty...

And yet...she detected some glimmer of intelligence.

Unnerved, the medic averted her eyes and cleared her throat. "Uhh...hi."

"Rebecca what are you doing?!" Joseph hissed. "What are you, crazy?!"

"I think it doesn't mean us any harm." Rebecca insisted. "...I think." She then swallowed. "I hope."

The creature coolly watched them, then opened its mouth to speak.

What came out was the most horrifying thing that she had ever heard in her life; she didn't want to call it a voice, but...it was!

It spoke to them!

God as her witness, it actually spoke to them! What came out from the zombie's mouth could only be described as the sound of a nightmare - a long, dry, howling and wailing voice like cold wind in a winter storm in the evening, silent, yet possessing a hauntingly echoing and hollow quality. As it spoke, Rebecca's eyes widened, her face paling as she shook in her boots, her hair standing on end. She was shaking so badly that her own pistol wavered unsteadily, the weapon threatening to fall from her fingers.

"...YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT...LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE!"

With that, the creature charged forward with its clawed hands outstretched. Once it was within close enough range, Joseph fired his shotgun, the blast sending it back several feet.

Cocking his shotgun, the Omni Man gave it the finger, "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK...YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" He mimicked mockingly.

"LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" Jill yelled as the survivors scrambled out from the crypt as the creature slowly crawled back to its feet.

Running up a long set of stone stairs, Rebecca panted as she struggled to keep up.

Gunshots echoed and bullets ricocheted off walls as the survivors fled upward, the blasts mixing with angry roars and howls. Muzzle fire lit up shadowed corridors and mixed with wall-mounted torchlight, the muzzle flare illuminating their blood-drenched pursuer as it reached hungrily out with its clawed hands, its eyes glowing with maniacal delight, spittle flying from its mouth.

Rebecca watched as each round pierced its skull, leaving a bloody hole.

"WHY WON'T THIS FUCKER STAY DOWN?!" Joseph yelled as he kept firing his shotgun, the rounds causing it to stumble and trip only momentarily.

"Reloading!" Jill called as she swapped magazines, pouring round after round into their pursuer's face. One round entered its eye socket, jerking it backward, the creature losing its balance as it roared and fell, rolling back down the stairs.

Pausing midway up, Rebecca glanced back over her shoulder, curious.

"Is it dead?" she asked fearfully.

In response, the zombie howled as it darted up the stairs, charging after them with clawed hands outstretched.

"NOT DEAD! NOT DEAD!" Joseph yelled as the survivors turned on their heels and continued fleeing up the steps.

More and more the survivors hauled themselves up the endless set of stairs, and more and more their bestial pursuer dogged after them without any sign of it relenting. No matter how many rounds filled its body, no matter the angle, the creature kept chasing after them, drawing ever so closer.

Rebecca inserted a fresh clip. "Body and headshots aren't doing anything!"

Beside her, Jill cocked her pistol and aimed. "We need to slow it down - target its legs!"

Joseph cocked his shotgun. "I got this, ladies!" Turning around, he aimed, then fired as it got closer.

The zombie shrieked as it fell, collapsing on one knee. Cocking his weapon again, Joseph aimed at the other leg, then fired, the slugs tearing it off at the knee, causing it to fall and roll back down the stairs.

Wiping his forehead, Joseph looked over at everyone with a huge smile on his face as he whooped loudly.

"Ha ha! See that!" he grinned. "And another victory for oh for fuck's sake!"

The zombie was crawling after them up the stairs on its belly.

"Really?! Still?!"

"Let's finish it," Chris said as he raised up his weapon.

"Come on, Chris, there's no reason why HOLY SHIT!" Joseph yelled as the little bastard suddenly lunged up three or four steps at a time, belly-flopping indelicately toward them.

Rebecca watched as Jill ran forward, delivering a sharp kick to the face that knocked out some of its teeth and sent it rolling all the way down the stairs.

"That should buy us some time," she said.

"I hope we find the exit soon," Chris grumbled. "I'm almost out of ammo."

"Same here," Rebecca said as she checked her pistol as they climbed upward, hoping to find a way out.

Aiken panted as he hauled the heavy form of his Captain, dragging him along the floor, his arms and back protesting as he struggled to carry him.

However, the pain flaring in his arms was nothing compared to the dilemma in his soul.

He had left Star alone with that...thing.

Knowingly.

And...it bothered him.

Big time.

Aiken tried to tell himself that he shouldn't worry, that the kid could handle himself.

Besides, he didn't even look human, so surely-

Aiken faltered, his stomach uneasily twisting and knotting itself at the thought.

What if he was wrong? Sure, as much as Aiken didn't want to admit it, he did have a bias against the albino. Not only was the kid creepy, but he was so damned tight-lipped and unreadable about everything. Getting anything out of him was like pulling teeth, much to Richard's frustration.

And yet...the idea of leaving anyone behind on his watch...it went against everything that he believed in, especially in terms of why Aiken joined S.T.A.R.S. in the first place. He wanted to keep that sort of thing from happening again.

Aiken let out a weary sigh.

Whether Star was a monster or not, there was no denying that he had no chance against that thing. Without any form of heavy weaponry, he was completely helpless.

Looking over his shoulder, he conflictedly glanced to the door behind him, then to the path ahead.

Adjusting his grip on Captain Wesker's unconscious form, Aiken exhaled. He needed to get him to a safe place first. He couldn't afford some damn zombie eating him while he was vulnerable.

Giving one last look over his shoulder, Aiken offered a quiet prayer, hoping the kid would be able to survive long enough for help to arrive.

The main hall's silence was broken by the intermittent heaving of the gas-masked giant's breath as he loomed before Star.

Clutching the tripod in his hand, Star anxiously eyed the armored beast as it stood there, watching him.

Finally, after what seemed an eternity, it took a decisive step forward.

Swinging the candle holder with all his might, the albino watched as it deflected harmlessly off the beast's armored chest, eliciting no reaction aside from a quizzical tilt of its domed head.

Startled, Star tried again, swinging violently overhead, the tripod harmlessly clanging off the helmet.

Nothing.

He tried a third, a fourth, a fifth time. The creature made no effort to stop him as Star wailed his weapon against its arms, head and chest from all angles, each swing punctuated by a loud cry or grunt from the youth, but the brute paid no mind to it.

From the chortling it made, it seemed to have no effect other than to amuse him, forcing the albino to back away.

'What the hell am I supposed to do now?' the albino wondered.

He struck at it again, circling around it as he delivered a combination of horizontal and vertical blows, trying to find some sort of weak point, his strikes becoming quicker and more frenzied, trying to find something, anything, that suggested it could be hurt.

He kept swinging wildly, but after a while, his arms started to feel sore, his face hot and sweaty. Stopping to catching his breath, Star eyed his opponent, panting loudly as the creature just stood its ground.

Wiping his forehead, the youth let out a loud challenging roar, swinging the tripod again with everything he had...only for the creature to catch it one-handed. Apparently losing all patience with his prey's efforts, with a mighty swing of its arm, the titan violently threw him to the side as if he were nothing more than a paperweight, wrenching the makeshift weapon free from the albino's grasp as he rolled along the ground with a grunt.

Picking himself up again, Star bared his teeth with a growl as he glared at his opponent.

'There has to be a way of hurting this goddamn thing!' part of him thought.

'HOW?! It's fully armored!' Another side of him protested.

The giant confidently strode toward him, each step causing the ground to shake as Star uneasily got back up onto his feet. Narrowing his eyes, Star got into a Wing Chun stance, carefully backing away from the armored creature, making sure to keep his distance from him.

He wasn't going to last very long...but, for his father and Rebecca's sakes, he was determined to try. For as long as possible, no matter the cost.

"Oh no."

"What? What is it?" Rebecca said upon hearing the worried tone in Chris' voice.

"The exit's blocked!" Jill announced, causing her heart to sink.

"What?" Moving up the stairs, the medic caught up with her fellow survivors, then, upon seeing the obstacle blocking their way out, froze.

"N...no..."

Star ducked as a massive fist flew in his direction. Grabbing hold of a Ming vase, the albino chucked it at the juggernaut's massive chest, the vase smashing against its muscular frame. As the creature stomped toward him, Star threw a kick, the blow catching it by the chin of its mask.

The beast gave no indication of it being hurt. However, it did seem to get mildly annoyed as it backhanded Star across the chest, knocking him off his feet, causing him to slide across the floor.

Letting out a gasp, Star winced as he coughed and tasted copper, his ribs burning.

"D-damn it," he rasped.

Spitting out blood, Star shakily got back onto his feet, eying his opponent as he stomped toward him.

He couldn't afford to fall - he needed to hold out a bit longer.

As the titan drew closer, his form towering high over him, Star mentally prayed that he would have the strength to continue.

Rebecca pressed at the wall, her shaking hands searching for something, anything in desperation.

"There has to be some way to get out of here!" she said frantically, her face sweating.

Hearing a sickening crunch and a snap, the medic stiffened, then slowly turned around.

Their pursuer was now back onto his mangled legs, limping toward them with outstretched clawed hands.

"Fucking hell!" Joseph muttered.

Before anyone could fire off a shot, the creature lunged forward with a roar, knocking the shotgun from Joseph's hands as it latched onto him.

"JOSEPH!" Chris yelled, grabbing hold of his assailant, wincing at the odor. "Jesus this guy stinks!"

"GET HIM OFF ME!" Joseph yelled as he struggled to get his attacker off, his eyes widening as the crimson-headed creature opened up its maw, ready to take a bite.

Before it was able to latch on, however, the Omni Man reached into his pocket and quickly took something out, stuffing it into the zombie's mouth before ultimately shoving him back down the stairs with Chris' help.

Pushing itself back to its feet, Rebecca watched as the creature stood up with a grenade in its mouth, then turned to see Chris as he raised his pistol.

"Suck on this!"

With that he fired, the round striking the grenade, causing its head to explode and paint the walls red, the survivors recoiling from the explosion.

Looking back, Rebecca watched as the body wavered unsteadily, its gushing neck spouting like a fountain.

'Please don't be like that last headless zombie,' she prayed. Please don't let it walk towards-

After a few seconds, the body toppled over, collapsing onto the stairs, the survivors sighing with relief.

"Thank fuck!" Joseph swore, then looked back down at the body, regarding the stained walls. "Well, at least we added some color to the décor."

Looking tiredly to where he pointed, a few of the survivors laughed amongst themselves, shaking their heads at the absurdity of this whole situation.

"True," Chris replied. "That said, we're still stuck in here. We should look around and see-"

The crypt rumbled. Turning around, the survivors stared in surprise as the stone wall was lifted.

"Uhh...never mind then."

Stepping out from the crypt, Rebecca took in a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air.

"God, I thought we would never get out of there," she said as she stretched.

"Same here," Jill tiredly nodded.

Pausing mid-stretch, Rebecca then looked around, curious.

"Something wrong, Rebecca?" Chris asked.

"Uh, no. Not really. It's just...well...who let us out?"

She watched the survivors consider her words, a frown forming on Jill's face.

"Good question." The older woman adjusted her beret. "Maybe the door malfunctioned? Or maybe there had been a switch that Richard and Star had turned off somewhere?"

Rebecca clicked her tongue in thought, then shrugged. "Yeah, that makes sense." Glancing around, the medic stopped. "Hey, look at this!"

Approaching the side of tomb, the medic knelt down and opened up her back pack.

"What is it, Rebecca?" Chris asked curiously.

"I found a whole bunch of green herbs!" she replied, stuffing them into her bag, reorganizing its contents.

Joseph raised a brow. "...I don't think now's the time for getting high, rookie."

She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "It's not for smoking. Trust me, these will come in handy."

The Omni Man scratched his head, then opened his mouth to respond when Chris intervened. "Just leave it, man. She's the medic - I'll trust her word that she knows what she's talking about."

A small smile formed on Rebecca's face, happy that someone was able to put their trust into her.

Once she finished, the medic brushed off her knees.

"Okay, all finished." She announced.

Turning away from the tomb, the survivors wandered past the gate, looking around at the cemetery, then up at the mansion to their right.

"...Well," Rebecca sighed, "...we're back...at the mansion again..."

"Yep." Jill replied sullenly.

Climbing up the steps, the survivors flinched as they heard something crash inside.

"The hell?" Chris swore.

"What's going on?" Rebecca asked.

Joseph reloaded his shotgun. "Why don't we go inside and find out?"

Rebecca and the others had barely just gotten through the door when Star crashed to the floor with a grunt, his body rolling along the ground toward the middle of the hallway.

She hesitated. "Star?"

Pushing himself unsteadily up to his feet, the albino's eyes were tearing up in pain as he struggled to straighten himself, causing the medic's eyes to widen.

"STAR!"

Hearing his name, he whirled around to face her. "Rebecca?"

Before she even had a chance to cry out a warning, a massive mechanical hand backhanded him, knocking the teenager back with a grunt.

Stomping toward him was the armored giant, its axe embedded into the floor.

"STAR, GET OUT OF THERE!" Rebecca yelled. "RUN, STAR! RUN!"

Staggering, Star struggled to maintain his balance, blood dripping out from his mouth, his face sweaty underneath his red hood. Wiping his lips with the back of his gauntleted hand, the youth straightened himself, going into what seemed to be some sort of martial arts stance.

"What the hell is he doing?!" Joseph said in disbelief.

"GET OUT OF THERE!" Rebecca repeated.

"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!" Jill shouted, her pistol aimed.

"YOU'RE IN OUR LINE OF SIGHT, MOVE!" Chris waved.

Star ignored them, his attention focused on his opponent. Letting out a challenging and angry roar of defiance at the armored titan that sounded inhuman, the teenager ducked its swing before launching into an all-out assault that caught Rebecca by surprise, his limbs a frenzied whirlwind of chain punches that drummed rapidly and ferociously against his attacker at every angle.

Even though he seemed to be in a great deal of pain and discomfort, his movements were graceful and precise. Ducking a second swing, then a third, the albino threw an upward palm strike into its masked face before suddenly pressing the knuckle of his pointer finger against its chest, his arm completely relaxed, the rear heel in alignment with his lead foot. Leg, hip and shoulder moved quickly together as one as the albino suddenly thrusted his fist forward, the bottom two knuckles of his hand snapping forward and upward, the blow crashing straight into the beast.

Star felt a twinge of pride and satisfaction as he saw the creature stumble just ever so slightly, at least one or two steps backwards.

"HOLY SHIT, HE MANAGED TO KNOCK IT BACK!" Joseph cried out.

Feeling emboldened, the youth continued his assault, punching and kicking his attacker with everything he had, confidence surging through him as he tried to knock the creature off-balance, tried to make the beast fall.

He can do this. Father was able to hold his own against a whole horde of the undead. He can-

He barely had any time to react when the creature suddenly grabbed him by the head, picking him up from off the ground, the albino's feet flailing helplessly as his kicks deflected off its armored hips, legs and groin.

"STAR!" He heard Rebecca scream.

"TAKE IT DOWN!"

As the beast held him up in the air with one hand, Star struggled in its grip, punching at its wrists and fingers, struggling to breathe, the sounds of gunfire echoing and pinging off the thing's armor. Rasping against its palm, the albino fumbled clumsily around the pockets in his coat, cursing his hands for being burned.

If only he were able to feel something!

Twisting around in the giant's grip, his face pressed up against its gauntleted palm, Star tried prying the massive hand off as he felt his lungs burn, his eyes looking around wildly in all directions, even through tiny gaps of space that he was able to see as he felt all of the oxygen leave him.

Upon seeing the pistol in his coat pocket, the youth quickly reached down and drew it up to the creature's face, firing at point-blank range.

Letting out an angry pained roar, the beast dropped Star indelicately to the floor as he fired another two rounds, the albino coughing as he took in several deep breaths. Star's freedom was short-lived, however, as the giant grabbed him by the throat and hurled him all the way to the front of the main hall. The albino screamed as he hurtled fast through the air like a ball, firing off the last of his ammunition at his attacker, his limbs flailing wildly as he collided hard against the door, the wood splintering and crunching, the frame shuddering at the impact.

"STAR!"

As he fell to the floor, Star opened his eyes dazedly, his vision filled with splotches of white lights and blurry lines of his opponent as he approached.

Gritting his teeth, he pushed himself shakily off the floor, his body screaming in protest.

'Stand up, damn you,' the albino said to himself. 'Stand up!'

"STAR, GET OUT OF THERE, YOU IDIOT!" Rebecca shrieked.

Warm tears soaked his eyes as he struggled to get back up. As he shakily crawled up onto one foot, he tried pushing himself up. His body trembled as he tried straightening himself. Wiping his eyes, Star's arms shook as he attempted to get back into his Wing Chun stance.

"GET OUT OF HERE, REBECCA!" Star yelled. "FATHER NEEDS YOU - I WILL DEAL WITH THIS!"

Rebecca rushed down the stairs along with the other survivors.

"You stubborn-"

"You know what, Redfield?" Joseph queried. "I take back what I said about you being a dipshit."

Chris gave him an annoyed glare, then rolled his eyes. "Thanks so much." He then fired his pistol at the armored knight. "HEY! HEY! OVER HERE!" He yelled, waving his arms.

Joseph cocked his shotgun. "Please. Allow me." Raising up his shotgun, the Omni Man fired at its helmeted head, then started yelling, "HEY MEGATRON! OVER HERE!"

Turning away from Star, the armored beast gave Joseph a quizzical look as he drummed his hand against a nearby column.

"THAT'S RIGHT! SEE THIS?!" Joseph yelled, drumming his hands against the wall and column. "THIS IS HOW I PRACTICE IN SMACKING YOUR MOMMA'S ASS!"

Hearing the unexpected remark, Rebecca's jaw dropped while Chris burst out laughing.

"OOOHHH YEAAH! SMACKING THAT ASS! LOOK AT ME SMACKING THAT BITCH!"

"Uhhh Joseph?" Chris took a cautious step backward as the juggernaut turned in their direction. "Your taunts are working!"

Pulling his hand away, Joseph smugly cocked his shotgun. "Of course it would!"

Jill turned to Rebecca as the creature chased after Joseph and Chris, following the two men up and down the upper and lower levels.

"Get him out of here," she said, gesturing to Star. "We'll handle this."

Rebecca nodded. "Be careful, guys."

Turning her attention back to the injured albino, she quickly approached.

"Stay out of this, Rebecca," Star rasped, wincing slightly. "I can do this. I can-"

Taking a step toward the armored being, Star's legs buckled beneath him, causing Rebecca to grab hold of him, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"You're hurt badly. You have got to stop!"

Star struggled to pull away.

"Star."

He continued to move and resist.

"Star, stop! Think of your father!"

The albino's mouth curled into a snarl. "That is precisely what I'm doing, now let. Me. Go."

Pulling away from her grip, the youth fell to his hands and knees, wincing, his eyes pouring fresh tears down his scarred cheeks, his face grimacing in pain.

Rebecca watched Star as he struggled to move. From all indications, the teenager was in an enormous amount of pain, yet he was so utterly determined that he was attempting to crawl forward just an inch at a time toward the creature, even with its back facing him as it stomped after the other survivors.

What was he thinking? Doesn't Star realize that he's outmatched? Why would he-

"Damn it." he swore, cutting off her thoughts with a slight sob in his voice as he dropped his arm. "Damn it. I'm...I'm not strong enough..."

Rebecca's eyes softened.

So that's why.

Putting a comforting hand on his shoulder, she leaned down.

"I know you want to help, Star...and you have been helping," Rebecca assured in a quiet and understanding voice, "...but you need to stop! If you keep going, you will die! Is that what you want?!"

Looking up to Rebecca, Star then looked conflictedly back to the others, a flash of guilt and shame in his eyes.

"Hey," Rebecca said softly, "no one is going to blame you. You've done your best. You have tried. I know that you have. I know that you want to do more. You've done enough already. But now you need to let us all do our jobs. You wanted our help, right? That's why you wanted to be a part of S.T.A.R.S., right? You believed that we could help, didn't you?"

"..Y-yes..."

"Then please have faith in us! You have done your part, now it's time we did ours."

"Don't worry, kid," Chris waved. "We can manage. You've been doing a good job, now let us take over. We'll handle it from here."

Star was still for a moment, then sighed, nodding in resignation.

Helping him up to his feet, Rebecca carefully draped his arm around her shoulder, carefully moving him toward the dining room.

Star's body and mind protested as he was painfully hauled away. Looking over weakly over his shoulder, the albino watched as Chris and Jill faced the titan together with Officer Frost, the dining room doors closing behind him.

Author's Notes: From Guest:

"Why is a crossover in the non crossover page?"

So, primarily speaking, this is an RE fic first and foremost; even though it's a crossover with the "House of the Dead" game series, it's still a "Resident Evil" story, and because of that I tend put it on the main page for RE before putting it back in the crossover section later on. I usually put it on the main page whenever I update, but it is only temporary (at least, until the next chapter). Eventually it will be listed back under the HOTD section.

Hope you're enjoying the story so far, guys! :)
