Turkey.
Flash (The Flash: The Scarlet Speedster) was looking out to the ocean on the shore of the Turkish land, feeling despondent while still mending mental wounds that the Thanagarian empire had caused last week. Hippolyta (Hippolyta: The Queen of Amazons) had a unreadable look while digesting what she was just told by the speedster. Ever since the events of Temen Ni Gru a year ago, the two of them had developed a strange camaraderie of sorts despite the rocky start after the events regarding Hades's near escape from the Pit of Tartarus. Not friendship but close. He became an unofficial ambassador of Outside World and a confidant on how Diana was fairing in Man's World. So when the Thangarian invasion was foiled, Flash contacted her through the conventional means for a meeting somewhere in Turkey, not far from Themyscira. The reason was that he wanted to understand why the woman formerly known as Hawkgirl did what she did and who better than the ruler of Themyscira who had experienced betrayal first hand. While Hippolyta was relieved to her that her daughter was unharmed, she was a bit heartbroken to hear how hurt Diana was following the Invasion. It was something that she'd hoped to spare her only child from learning that you should never expect betrayal from your enemies but the ones that are closest to you.
"I couldn't stop her, your highness." Flash said in a void voice, a tone unusual for the more jovially hero as he was remembering his desperate pleas to the disgraced Thanagarian hero at Wayne Manor after she resigned despite his forgiveness of her traitorous actions.
"I don't think she wanted you to." Hippolyta told him in the known, having been on the receiving ends of betrayal too many times in her extended lifespan. "Betrayal cuts deep on both parties, Wallace. I always fear that my daughter would become what I became following my affair with Hades and Iorena's transgressions since she left the Island: Judgmental and Distrustful. I go to bed every night with that dread. But that is not the case and I thank the Gods at Olympus for that."
Hippolyta placed a hand on his right shoulder as she looked at the speedster. "But Shayera had already betrayed you and your friends years ago. Nobody, not even you could've prevented the occupation from taking place."
The Flash knew she was right. There was no way for anyone on the Justice League could've known that she was a spy and even if they did, it would've been a lot worse. It didn't mean he liked it though. And despite the fact he's got every right to be angry at her, he's not. Just sad over the fact she lost everything. So what's the point really at being angry at her? So in the end, he chose to forgive her because at the end of the day, he still consider her as the sister he never had.

Red Grave City
Trish (Trish: The Redeemed Devil) was never the one to comfort someone's agony, not her forte. She was more of a go to happy fun girl but in this case, she was willing to make an exception as she was trying to ease Flash's pain at the Devil May Cry Office which was a bit difficult to do. But she was trying.
But then during his dejected moping, his eyes went wide when he saw something by the doorway, He ran up to the door and picked it up from the doorknob.
Trish was puzzled by his manners. "What is it?" She asked as she joined him. Wally had a sad smile when he recognized the item in his hands.
It was a picture of the entire Justice League standing in their usual poses. Superman with that bright smile of his, Green Lantern with a prideful smirk, J'onn with a compassionate grin, Diana with a kind smile, Hawkgirl wielding her mace with a determined look and of course Batman with the ever grim look of vengeance. To top it off, Wally himself was in the front on his knees and arms spread out as if to say 'Hey, we're the Justice League!'

Pacific Ocean.
Shayera Hol, formerly known to Earth as Hawkgirl (Shayera Hol: The Fallen Hero) was sitting on a chair at a cruise ship, looking out to the opening seas with a solemn look somewhere in the Pacific. She was wearing a hood and a cape that she stole from a local clothing store to disguise herself from prying eyes. She was all alone now. Not only had she betrayed Earth but also the Thanagarian Empire when the Hyperspace Bypass Generator was destroyed. She had to leave to find out who she really was without the lies. There were four things in the back of her her head that weighted on her: Hawkgirl died the moment her estranged husband Hro Talak arrived before the takeover. Lieutenant Hol died the second she uncovered the truth and now she was nothing more than a shadow when she resigned from the Justice League. But also on how the Flash forgave her before she left which made think a saying she once heard.
Even heroes can stumble at times so the best thing we can do is to help them.
