I don't own Danny Phantom or Grossology. Their respective companies own them. Joe Gutchern is an original character.
Lance Boil worked on his latest evil scheme as the Joe's played in the garbage pile outside. Gutchern had summoned the filth from his body, something the short man took an interest in. He had sent the ghost to the school after taking a few samples.
Under his microscopes, Lance watched as the grotesque ghost cells merged with the sample he took from the museum.
"It's working!" the man cackled. "Looks like that ghost guy had more uses after all. This will be my greatest gross scheme ever! And if things go right, those two nerdlings will be too busy to stop me!"
The short man cackled maniacally before resuming work. There was still much to do and only a certain amount of time.
Meanwhile, Ty and Abby were stunned. Their new ghost Joe Gutchern was a few feet in front of them, and they were not in uniform or properly equipped for this sort of emergency. So they did the next best thing, run.
"Run!" Abby shouted as she ran.
Her brother did the same while the gross ghost laughed.
"My, my, how energetic kids are today," Joe commented before following with a slither. The halls were oozed and slathered with layers of garbage, snot, and excrement, and he went along—students who were nearby puked and ran to the nurse's office or the janitor's.
Ty and Abby ran through the halls as they went to their lockers, but the form of Joe coming from the floor in front of them halted their tracks.
"Where ya going?" Joe asked.
The siblings ran in the opposite direction with a sharp u-turn, taking an alternate route to the lockers. But Joe appeared in front of them again.
Bringing with him a pile of garbage and puss as he came from the floor once more.
"You know, students shouldn't be running in the halls," Joe laughed while the duo tried to run again, nearly puking.
The siblings rushed through the door, slamming it open and drawing the attention of the class. They closed the door with equally loud force as they stared at the class.
"Ty? Abby? What's wrong?" The teacher asks.
The class stared at the sudden outburst of the duo. Some just wanted a distraction from dissection.
"Yeah, Abby, what's wrong?" Paige asked, hoping for a chance to grab the girl's goat.
Abby growled a bit as Ty calmed her down.
"Uh...about the door slamming...you know that new ghost in town besides Danny Phantom?" Ty nervously asked with a chuckle.
"Yeah...so? What does that have to do with anything?" Paige asked.
Nobody answered Paige's question as Joe Gutchern phased through the wall. His slimy, grotesque face smiled at the class.
"Hello, class," he said with a ghastly voice.
The students and teacher screamed as they exited in a disorderly fashion.
"Ghost!" A random student screamed, looking nauseous as he held his stomach.
"Like, run!" Paige screamed, charging through the class and being the first out the door.
The entire room evacuated, but Ty and Abby couldn't do anything and stayed behind. However, the moment didn't last as they tried to punch and kick the ghost, only to go through him and pile his filth on them.
"Uh-oh," the siblings said, noting the mess in their limbs. They quickly wiped and shook off the gunk.
In their sanitation, Joe grabbed Abby, hoisting her up by one arm. The girl flailed with her free one as she tried to get loose.
"Let me go!" Abby yelled. A normal person would have passed out from the smell and sensation, but the girl's time as a grossologist toughened her up for this sort of thing.
Joe laughed as he kept her hostage.
"Sorry, but Lance told me to keep everyone occupied. Including hostages," the gross ghost said.
A few ectoblasts answered the ghost as his shoulder and torso were filled with holes.
"Hey, Joe! Remember me?"
Joe Gutchern turned to see Danny Phantom jetting through the walls. With a reeled fist, he punched the arm, getting stuck in the filthy layers before detonating it, freeing him and Abby as he carried the girl.
"You ok?" Danny asked, staring into Abby's eyes.
"I'm...fujiahlemjshdi."
Danny raised a brow at the girl's gibberish before going back to the fight. He placed Abby on the ground, next to her brother.
"This oughta even things for the moment," Danny said as he blasted a nearby fire extinguisher. Covered in foam, Joe flailed about as Danny tried to lead the two to safety.
"Come on," He ordered as he lead them out of the classroom while Joe was still wiping himself off.
The trio fled to a nearby closet, where the class had used to hide. The students rejoiced at seeing the ghostly hero with them as he phased through the wall with Ty and Abby.
"You guys alright?" Danny said to them.
"Danny Phantom? Here? Alright, we're saved," a student, Andy, said gratefully.
"You loser, that ghost is still out there!" Paige said, pointing at the door.
"I called for back up. They should get here soon," Danny said.
Ty and Abby glanced at each other. They hadn't heard anything from Lab Rat and were concerned about how the students would react when they wouldn't show up in uniform.
"Now, let's get you guys out of here, first," Danny said as he tried to figure a way out.
Unfortunately, one of the students, Roger, was pushing through the crowd as he tapped on the ghost boy's shoulder.
"Aren't you forgetting a couple of grossologists?" Pinkeye asked. His puss-filled eye glanced at Ty and Abby, who were angry with his antics.
"They're here?" Danny asked, glancing around. "Where?"
Pinkeye then pointed to the siblings.
"Them!" He yelled.
Danny just sent him a deadpanned look.
"Them?" Danny asked, confused. "I just rescued them."
"Don't play dumb! I know you're working with the grossologists! You gotta know who they are!" Pinkeye yelled again, and Danny frowned now.
"Dude, I have no idea what you're talking about," Danny said, annoyed. And he wasn't the only one.
"But-but—"
"Now listen here, Pinkeye!" Paige commanded as she walked up to the boy. "We are being chased by the grossest things...not alive, and you're still going on about Ty and Abby!? There are more important things than these two losers."
"But-"
A glare from Paige shut the boy up. As quickly as she snapped, the girl in pink walked up to the ghost boy. While she had a smile on, her body language told a different story.
"So, like, you have an idea on how to get us out of here, right?" she asked.
Danny glanced at the girl, his mind out of his thoughts. Giving a good look, the boy thought she was the polar opposite of a friend of his with all the pink she was wearing. But he pushed that aside.
"I'm not sure. I'd make the walls intangible, but that's ghost's smell knocks a lot out of me, and I don't know If I could hold it long enough."
"So, we're supposed to wait here!?" Paige screamed. She fainted at the thought as she fell near Danny, hoping he'd catch her. But only the floor did so.
Abby rolled her eyes before walking to Danny. She tapped him on the shoulders but stopped as his glowing green eyes stared into hers. Pushing down her hormones, she spoke.
"So, any ideas?" She asked.
"For now, I'm gonna distract him while you guys escape."
"Distract him?" Abby questioned.
Danny nodded before he flew through the wall. The students cheered silently before Paige interrupted them.
"Alright, everyone! Let's move out! As Student Council President, I'll take the lead."
That last part got some eyes rolling, but the pink girl knew what she was doing. Soon everyone went out in a single file. But Ty and Abby wanted to stay behind and help.
When they got the chance, they snuck away and quietly made their way to the fight.
Pinkeye noticed, but any speech was drowned out by Naomi, who pushed the boy before he could say a word. She looked back a bit before moving forward.
"Good luck," she said silently.
Danny and Joe tumbled in the air as they fought. The ghost boy lured his gross foe to the gym when he began shooting the ghost.
"You're gonna have to do better than that," Joe said as his body regenerated from any wounds. Well, the garbage and filth part.
Danny used everything he could to fight back, but Joe's stench was too much. And being so close to the ghost made the boy's stomach churn. But he held his gag reflex as he let out a barrage of ectoblasts. But Gutchern tanked some attacks while dodging others. He wasn't going to go down easily, but at the very least, the students were outside.
However, the fight wasn't going anywhere. Danny was more experienced in a fight but couldn't handle the smell. And Joe couldn't get near the boy to use that against him.
"There's gotta be something to even things out," Danny muttered, dodging more pile of goopy vile.
"How about this?" Came the voice of Ty as he and his sister entered the room.
"What are you guys doing?" Danny said, dodging muck rockets. "Get out of here!"
"And let you have all the fun? No way," Abby quipped as she and her brother grabbed some sports equipment.
The two may not have ghost powers or any powers, but they could handle the smell. And with their experience, the siblings could provide the perfect distraction.
"Hey, Joe, what the matter? Can't handle a little physical education?" Ty mocked as he and Abby threw the variety of balls and equipment at the ghost.
It didn't hurt him, but Joe found it annoying enough to turn his attention away from Danny, who got a good shot in every chance he got. The ghost wasn't sure who to strike first, but the pain from well-placed ectoblasts tempted him to fight Danny before a basketball went through his face.
"Sheesh, you'd think a guy like Joe would know how to play dodgeball," Abby quipped.
"I don't think gym was his best class," Danny added, grateful for the help as he sent more blasts.
Having enough of this, Joe roared as he gushed out his innards like a fountain, coating the room in his essence. Ty and Abby ducked behind Phantom, who erected a shield.
They were about to get back out when Danny stopped them.
"Stay back!" The ghost boy shouted as he stopped the two.
The siblings waited. Danny took down the shield and inhaled deeply. As he exhaled, a loud, ghoulish sound erupted from him. His wail tore through the gym, pushing the gross ghost back as the layers of filth, garbage, and excrement pealed away. The siblings covered their ears from the volume.
"GAHH!" Joe yelled as this happened. He felt his form dissipate and soak into the floor.
By the time the wail ended, the gym was a wreck, and the ghost was nowhere to be found.
"Used a lot of energy," Danny panted. "But worth it."
But before he could celebrate, Joe phased from the ground, only a couple feet away. He took a deep breath before spewing onto the ghost boy.
Realizing what was being piled onto him, Danny couldn't hold it any longer as the layers of garbage, excrement, and other bodily fluids could be felt from within his suit. Feeling everything seemingly wiggle, most likely a grossed-out hallucination, Danny landed on the ground as he swam his way out of the pile on him.
"You'll hear from me again, Phantom," Joe said before phasing through the roof.
"You did it!" Abby cried out as she hugged the ghost boy. Ignoring the filth for a moment. She sniffed the air and backed away with her nose pinched. "And I think you could use a shower."
Danny said nothing as he took a few wobbly steps. The stench was too much, and he puked up the contents from his stomach. It wasn't long before he fell to the ground as the siblings went to help him.
Ty and Abby were shocked as white rings enveloped the ghost boy. Danny Phantom was now Danny Fenton and unconscious in school.
"What the—!" Abby exclaimed as she went up to the boy.
"He's just a...kid," Ty commented.
This revelation changed many things, but the siblings knew they were in a school where everyone could question the arrival of a new kid after a ghost attack. And there was one student who would go beyond and ask a lot of questions during the wrong time.
"We have to get him to the gag lab," Abby said, lifting the boy. "Come on."
It wasn't long before Ty followed and shorter till the students got curious and started walking the halls. The siblings had managed to avoid everyone as the duo went to their lockers.
Ty flipped the secret switch in the combination locks, and the lockers gave way to an entrance to Grossology headquarters.
"Move it!" Abby said as she dragged Danny in with Ty coming in.
The doors closed shut as another student slid to a stop in front of them. His puss-filled eye dripped as his head hung in regret.
"No! I was so close! If those two hadn't stopped me!"
Well, Danny's secret is out. Good thing Pinkeye didn't catch it. And Lance Boil has a plan. Not good.
Special Thanks! to Flower Princess11 for all her help!

wiseguy2415: Indeed.
RonaldM40196867: I don't know about frog dissections in school, but I'll have to recheck somethings with Paige in contrast to Paulina.
Jay The Average Fanboy: The animated series is based on the film and references it too. So both of them. To answer your questions, respectively: it was the first thing I noticed, none of them have heard it, so no, and this chapter answers the last one.
