I don't own Danny Phantom or Grossology. Their respective companies own them. Joe Gutchern is an original character.
Danny awoke in the gag lab, his head dizzy from the disgusting fight with Gutchern.
"And I thought Dash's jockstrap was bad," He muttered, disgusted by the entire memory of that fight.
"Danny?" Abby's voice reminded him of the situation.
That Gutchern attacked the school, and the two fought. After a while, Danny recalled being committed to and then passing out from the smell. He looked around, noticing he was in the gag lab and not at the school.
"What happened? Did everyone make it out ok?!" the ghost boy asked.
"Don't worry. Everybody got out and evacuated," Ty explained.
"Along with other details," Abby said. She didn't take her eyes off the boy. It took a while, but Danny didn't notice until he saw everyone's stares.
"Uh...is something wrong?" the ghost boy asked.
She wasn't sure how to bring up what she saw, but her brother couldn't help comment. She could see it in the smirk he wore.
"Gotta say, didn't expect you to not be a ghost," Ty teased.
"What are you talking about?" Danny replied as
The ghost boy looked as he saw his reflection. His eyes were no longer glowing green and were replaced with an icy blue, as was his snowy white hair with a raven black color. He gasped as he studied the surrounding.
Abby placed a hand on his shoulder, sending him a smile. Everyone did.
"We won't tell anyone," Ty assured the boy.
"Especially after everything you've done to help us," Abby agreed.
Danny was cautious. But despite not knowing them long, he was willing to give them some trust. However, the boy decided he would have to play things close to the vest.
"How can I be sure you won't tell anyone?" Danny said as he got up.
Abby walked forward and placed a hand on his shoulder. She smiled in her slime suit and removed her glasses.
"You're not the only one with a secret identity," she said.
"Wait," Danny said, his mind working fast to recognize the girl in front of him. After a few minutes, it dawned on him. "You're that girl who helped me, the one I save from Gutchern."
Danny pointed to Ty.
"Then, you're that boy that was with her."
"I'm her brother, Ty. Ty Archer," the boy answers. He walked up to shake Danny's hand. "This
At first, the ghost boy was stunned, contemplating how he'd probably notice these details better if he weren't a C-straight student.
"Surprised you didn't notice," Lab Rat remarked. "Then again, no one seems to notice it's just Ty and Abby out there, Clark Kenting it."
"Clark what?" Ty asked.
"Look it up."
"Do that later. We have more important issues to deal with," Abby said.
"Yeah, we have a gross ghost who went and attacked your school," Danny said.
"I was gonna ask about how you got your powers, but that's important too," Abby remarked, noting the looks she was getting. "What? Like you guys aren't?"
Ty and Lab Rat glanced at Danny. They were curious about the fact that not only ghosts exist, but also half ghosts. Or ghost meta human as Lab Rat labeled in his mind.
"It's a long story. I'll explain later," Danny said.
"Seriously!?" Abby said. But a stare from the ghost boy told her otherwise. "Alright, but you gotta tell us. We promise not to tell anyone."
Danny nodded, still deciding if he could completely trust them or not. But they did trust him, so that meant something. However, the story would have to come later.
"Can't we talk about our gross ghost for a moment?" Lab Rat said, typing away on his computer.
"I just wanna know why Joe was at our school," Ty said. "There nothing there of value."
"Do you think he knows who you are?" Danny suggested.
"Doubt it, but it did make headlines," Lab Rat replied, pulling up the news. They saw Paige dragging on how the event was horrifying for her as men in hazmat suits were going into the school with cleaning supplies.
"Top story today as a local high school was apparently haunted by a ghost. Reports say it had been the same one terrorizing the town with notorious criminal Sloppy Joe," a newswoman said with a microphone in hand. She tilted the device as a student walked forward. "Can you tell what happened?"
"It was totally like disgusting. That ghost smelled like Nasty! Those grossologists and their ghost friend totally save me and stuff," Paige ranted.
Abby rolled her eyes. She had enough of the girl for today.
"Paige really knows how to tell a story," She muttered as the newslady continued with the report.
"We have reports saying everyone got out, but authorities advise everyone to be careful," The reporter said.
Ty then turned off the television, looking frustrated.
"So, what do we do now?..."He questioned.
"I say we find Joe. We need to stop him. After that, things can go back to normal," Danny said, also looking frustrated.
It was then the alarms went off. Lab Rat went to his console as he pulled up footage from security cameras.
"We got a problem. A big one," Lab Rat said as he pulled up everything on the wall monitor. Images of people roaming the streets covered in sludge and filth were alongside the panic they were causing. Some dragged their bodies along the streets like zombies while others were running. Both groups left trails of grim, muck, and other grimy substances.
"What is this!?..."Abby exclaimed while Danny and Ty watched in horror.
"Agents!" The Director screamed on the monitor as he popped up. "we got a major situation!"
"What's happening?...'Ty asked.
"Puss-filled, sticky, slimy, gross zombies!" The man exclaimed, shrieking higher with each word.
"Gross zombies?..."Danny questioned.
"Yes! Or...more precisely, people that are being transformed into them," Lab Rat explained. Hermès covered his eyes as the boy went straight to work, putting the images through different filters. "Scans indicate a contagion being spread, but I can't find what it is. And on top of that, it appears whatever these things are, have stuff that just falls off, leaving a trail that could infect more people."
"Oh man, this is bad," Abby said in worry.
But that wasn't the worst part as the Archers' cell phones twenty off. It was their parents who were checking in on them. The mother and father had been holed up in their places of work and would not be able to help them. The kids assured them of their safety at home and hung up shortly.
"I stand corrected. Now it's really, really bad!"
"We gotta find out what's causing this and put a stop to it," Ty said, slamming his fist into his hand.
"Then let's head out! Going Ghost!" Danny cried as his summoned rings came forth and transformed him back into a ghost. While the display was amazing, everyone couldn't help at snickering for a moment.
"What?" Danny asked around the room.
"Going ghost?" Abby snarked. "It must really scare off the ghosts."
"It's the first name that came to mind."
"Next thing you'll tell us is that your name is Danny Fenton."
Danny was silent, unable to answer, but transformed quickly to avoid any more questions. He had just crouched down when Lab Rat stopped him.
"Hold up. Before you go," Lab Rat said, pushing a button. A wall flipped, revealing new weapons. They looked similar to the Fenton's design, except with a large G symbol instead of an F. They glowed green, accenting the orange and red color schemes. "While I don't have everything finished, this should clean out ghost's clock."
"Thanks, Lab rat..."Abby said as she took a weapon.
"Yeah, thanks..."Ty said as he grabbed another one.
"Alright!" Danny said as he glanced at the new equipment.
Ty and Abby went for the GRS-1 as Danny took off through the ceiling. With a loud blast, everyone left, prepared for the worst.
"Good luck, guys," Lab Rat said in the silent lab. Hermes squeaked in concern as the gagologist petted him. "I know, little buddy. So am I."
Flying through the skies, the teens saw the chaos unfold as citizens everywhere either ran from the goopy, sludgy zombies or transformed into one. Some had even begun riots under the claim of the end of the world.
"IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!" A dramatic citizen said in a panic as he ran, holding a sign that said so. Others followed quickly as they rampaged through the streets. Some were so frightened/grossed out, they started looting. However, the event had only started an hour ago. Many citizens created makeshift forts out of whatever they could find.
"It's like every zombie movie made gross, and that's saying something," Danny quipped.
The teens scouted the city. These creatures were covered in what could probably be described as Joe Gutchern's skin. They would wobble and groan while reaching for anything or anyone. And it was even more disgusting as bits of them flew off, either into the wind or on the ground, with the stench following, immobilizing anyone who got a whiff.
People groaned in terror as the creatures then vomited on anyone they caught, covering them in the same filth.
"Only grosser and worse," Abby commented, noticing the numbers of clean civilians diminishing.
"I think it's about to get worse," Ty said as he pointed up ahead.
The heroes could see sloppy Joe and Joe Gutchern watching from above, sitting on top of a building. Sloppy guffawed loudly as Gutchern watched with intrigue. The ghost noticed the sound of the GRS-1 and started vomiting goop shots.
"There they are!" Sloppy Joe yelled.
"I hope they like our welcoming gift," Gutchern said as he sent more blasts at the heroes. His throat kept filling with every bodily fluid and rotten garbage he could muster as he spewed forth a barrage of his homemade ecto-filth.
While Danny had no trouble dealing with Gutchern's attacks, the GRS-1 hadn't been equipped with any anti-ghost weapons. The aircraft was pummeled as the windshields were covered and the exhaust plugged up from the goop seeping in. something Ty and Abby learned the hard way as they attempted an emergency blind landing.
"I can't see anything..."Ty shouted as he activated the windshield wipers. The teens saw themselves flying towards a previous construction site.
"Ty! We gotta eject!" Abby yelled as she hit the eject button. The windshield snapped off as the seat pushed the two out of the GRS-1. Ty activated his Jet pack as he grabbed Abby. The two watched as their rocket blew up into the site upon crashing.
"Goodbye, GRS-1," Ty mourned as he grieved in a moment of silence.
Unfortunately, the gross bad guys kept firing, aiming for the hovering grosssologists. Luckily, Danny flew over, raising a shield to protect themselves.
"Great," the ghost boy groaned as he held off the attack. "How can this get any worse?"
It was then Lance Boil broadcasted himself on every television.
"I spoke too soon."
"Citizens of Ringworm City!" The tiny man declared.
Short chapter, but we are now reaching the climax with a final battle. All answers will come soon. Stay safe and have a good day. If you like the story, follow, fave, and/or review.

Reviews:
wiseguy2415: Pinkeye is a fan of gross. So because of that, Ty and Abby interested him which lead to his snooping. I think he wanted to be friends with him, but he was being too much of a jerk to actually do so.
germanjustiniano9: 1.
RonaldM40196867: Honestly, the Deadpool of the Danny and Kim spin-off of The Many Dates of Danny Fenton inspired me. I got to thinking about what would have these two meet. And here we are. I'd say Paige and Paulina would be on mutual grounds, but I can't say for certain how they would interact.
Luiz4200: They won't. Everything will be cool.
Jay The Average Fanboy: A sleepover, interesting idea. Vlad will take notice. I let you know in future chapters.
Mazamba: Actually, Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt was the inspiration I used for Joe Gutchern. The poop and vomit ghosts were the main ones as they helped with Joe's design.
Soggy Fysher Woods: Thank you for your reviews.
