I don't own Danny Phantom or Grossology. Their respective companies own them. Joe Gutchern is an original character.

The teen heroes locked eyes with Lance Boil. The tiny man grinned as he aimed his puss canon. Danny flew forward, not afraid of the small criminal or his puss gun.

"Let's neutralize this puss!" Ty said. Earning some states from Danny and Abby.

Danny flew forward at great speed. He threw back his fist as he landed a punch. Or would have, if not for the stinging pain he felt. Lance stood smugly as the ghost boy was electrified and pushed back.

"Awww, what's the matter? Poor wittle ghost boy not feeling so well?" Lance taunted before he cackled. "Then have some medicine!"

Lance aimed his puss gun and fired. Danny dodged but got hit in the shoulder.

"Hahaha! Did you really think I would face you dorklings unprepared? With the samples of the ghost, I've upgraded my puss cannon to work on ghosts as well!"

Lance laughed at his success as Ty and Abby made sure Danny was alright. The barrels of their goop cannons never let the boil man out of sight.

"You alright?" Ty asked.

"I'm fine," Danny groaned. He rubbed his head as he stood up, feeling a slight burning sensation on his chest. He felt around to notice part of his suit melted. His shoulder was bare to see, and there was a stinging, burning sensation. Danny held his shoulder as he seethed a bit.

"That can't be good," Abby remarked. She turned to Boil with an angry look. "What did you do?"

All she got was a raspberry and silly face from a laughing Boil.

"Ok, it's official. I am going to enjoy bringing you down!" Danny hissed.

He sent a glare at Lancer, who is still laughing like a fool.

"Then bring it on, nerdlings!" The villain cackled.

"Already brung!" Danny shouted as he charged his fists and fired.

"Actually, it's brought, but same thing," Ty added as he and Abby also fired their goop cannons at the gross criminal mastermind.

For a tiny man, Lance knew how to dodge. With small legs, he couldn't run as fast as the grossologists, so he had to make do with ducking and rolling. Using guerilla warfare tactics, the man was able to hold his own. However, he didn't notice Danny phasing from the ground behind him about to grab him. Or did he?

The ghost boy gripped Boil from behind but felt a shock and backed away.

"Like I said!" Lance huffed, lifting his coat to reveal wires. "I've come prepared. I've managed to jury rig an anti-ghost shield into my coat. So you can't touch me!"

"I can still blast you," Danny retorted with glowing fists.

"Oh...yeah," Lance said, immediately realizing his folly, and rolled on his sides, blasting away as he did.

Danny and the grossologists did the same as they tried to snag the little man. A hard task given since they had such a small target with a lot of momentum. The tiny villain rolled away as they gave chase. If anyone had an idea of stopping him, Ty and Abby had more experience with him, leaving the ghost boy a bit in the dark.

But that didn't mean Danny was going to do nothing. He thought and thought till an idea popped in his head. A shot in the dark, but he'd take his chances.

"Keep firing. I have an idea," Danny said to Ty and Abby.

The ghost boy phased through the ground as the grossologists aimed their goop cannons.

"Awww, did your little ghost friend run away?" Lance taunted before ducking behind a car. "Maybe he knows how much of a threat Lance Boil is!"

Boil fired from behind the vehicle as Ty and Abby jumped out of the way and found cover. They open fire from behind some garbage as they pelted Lance's cover with as much goop to keep him occupied. They also shot around the cover to keep the tiny man from running away.

"Is that the best you nerdlings got?" Boil taunted.

His gloating was cut short when Danny came from below and lifted him by the ankles. Lance's bare ankles had no anti-ghost equipment on. As Danny took his weapon, the tiny flailed helplessly, looking sad and pathetic as his robe revealed his underwear.

"Curse you! You little...ecto...snot...brat! Put me down at once!"

"Ok, I know gross is your thing, but could you have at least worn some shorts underneath? I'm glad I used my brain like this, but I did not need to see this," Danny groaned. He looked away, not wanting to see another man's drawers.

"Yeah, he's never done that," Ty remarked as he and Abby walked over. The boy took a closer look at Boil's coat. "Looks like his anti-ghost tech needs some work. It seemed to only affect his clothes. Huh, go figure."

Lance flailed in a tantrum. He felt much shame at his miscalculation. He had been so sure of his intellect that he didn't notice the bugs in his prototype anti-ghost coat. Probably should've tested it more.

"Awww...he looked like a wittle baby," Abby cooed as she poked the short adult.

Boil growled before he ranted about his defeat, like other villains. "You think you've won!? Think again! You may have a little cleaner for my puss, but can you save the entire city as it's overrun with my disease?!"

The moaning of the citizens got worse as the puss piled on from their bodies.

The heroes were worried. Lance was right. They couldn't have enough ghost disinfectant to go around. And they used plenty already. Things were looking bleak till the gagcom went off.

"Did you guys need some backup?" came a voice.

Ty unlocked his gagcom to show Lab Rat suited up with Hermès on his shoulder.

"Lab Rat! Boy, are we happy to see you! Did you find a solution?" Ty asked frantically.

"More like a stain remover, but yeah. I got something."

"What is it?" Danny asked.

"You'll see. Take a good look at the skies," Lab Rat said before logging off.

Everyone looked up to see a large blue balloon flying by carrying a sack beneath it. Tubes protruded from below, spewing liquids at a slow, organized, and targeted pace.

"Please tell me that's back up," Danny groaned. Abby grabbed his head and turned it to the infected citizens.

"It is," she said, pointing.

A batch of the liquid landed on an infected couple. They seethed in pain as the puss hissed loudly, but their layer of filth slid off them as the two checked themselves.

They had been cured and clean, much to Lance Boil's rage.

"What! No!" Boil yelled as he saw more of the citizens cured.

"Yeah!" The teens cheered. Ty called Lab Rat immediately.

"This is awesome!" Ty said.

"Way to go, Lab Rat!" Abby cheered.

"What is this!?" Danny laughed in happiness.

"Just a larger batch of the ghost disinfectant I cooked up. Whatever Boil made only affects the people skin deep, so a quick rinse should make the city and its citizens clean and shine again," Lab Rat explained.

The teens cheering continued as the cure cleansed the city and its people of the virus. All seemed well, but only for a moment as Lance boil pressed a button on his briefs, and a large amount of fart gas was released. Danny tried to hold on, but the smell was too much as Lance Boil took to the air, but not before grabbing his puss gun.

Meanwhile, Joe Gutchern had been resting silently. What should have been a peaceful nap was actually a tossing and turning turmoil as he felt more pain. His head throbbed, and the feeling was extending all over his body. The ghost got up as he tried to see his face in a mirror found in the restroom. His face was drying up, as was his body.

"What's happening?!" The ghost cried out.

Danny, Ty, and Abby watched as Boil took off. The tiny man was determined to stop Lab Rat as he used his fart gas to fly after the blimp.

Ty followed with his jet back. Abby held onto Danny as both teens kept one hand free for blasting. The air quickly became a battlefield as the grossologists fired goop in an attempt to catch the man. Danny was more cautious of his ectoblasts as he could cause tea damage compared to the goop.

Though the acidic puss from Lance Boil's weapon was problematic in the same manner. There were times Ty and Abby had to hit the puss itself to prevent any accidental structural damage anywhere.

"Pop that boil!" Ty yelled, taking another shot.

"We're on it!" Abby shouted as she shot in tandem with Danny.

"If you brats think I'm letting you clean up my mess, think again!" Boil yelled

Boil was closing the gap between him and the ballon fast. Lab Rat opened a window from the blimp and opened fire with his own goop cannon. It may not have been the disinfecting kind, but it was enough to take down a tiny, pimple-headed man. Or it would had Lab Rat's field experience had more time invested. Though the others weren't having much luck either.

"How the heck has this guy not run out of gas!?" Abby yelled.

Lance snarked back, but the teens didn't listen. They only needed one shot, and that was all they needed.

"I have a better idea," Danny said as he held onto Abby with his other arm.

"Uh, Danny? what are you doing?" Abby asked with a red face.

"I hold, you shoot."

Abby nodded as she held her breath and steadied her aim. Her surroundings a forethought as she placed Boil in her sights. It was tricky, given the man was dodging Ty's blasts.

"Game over, nerdlings!" Lance yelled as he was only a few feet from the ballon. He produced a needle from his coat pocket, ready to pop the blimp in several locations of his choosing.

But before he could make a tear, Abby fired and encased Boil in a cocoon of goop. The gooey substance also clogged his gas, preventing the man from flying any further and making him fall. The teens dived down as Ty and Abby provided a goopy cushion for the felon. With a squish, Boil was captured, this time for real, and struggled as he tried to break free. Even his puss gun was clogged. Boil was foiled.

"Curse you, grossologists and freak boy!" Lance shouted.

Ty, Abby, and Danny landed as they smiled in history, raising a fist in celebration. Abby cheered and hugged Danny. She let go shortly after realizing what she was doing.

"S-sorry," she said with a blush. Danny gave a smile, which made her face redder.

Things seemed to calm down.

Or so they seemed.

Soon, the cleaned citizens started to groan in pain as their skin broke out into a greenish, brown rash.

"What the heck!?" Ty exclaimed.

The people who had been cleaned began to fester boils all over themselves. The lumps grew at a phenomenal rate as puss came forth in the form of the vile substance from before. It oozed and covered the body again as the people screamed and moaned in terror.

Even another once over with Lab Rat's ballon spray did nothing. This time, the vile layers stayed on, resisting the anti-bacterial wash.

"It's...resisting the clean," Lance Boil said in awe. He glanced at the carnage, breaking out into a smile. "It's resisting the clean! Yes! This is wonderful! A whole city of grossness!"

The heroes did not like this. And watched in horror as the disease spread.

"But I thought Lab Rat did it...didn't he?" Danny muttered.

"It should've," Abby said in disbelief.

"Lab Rat, please tell us you got something! An ace up your sleeve?" Ty shouted in desperation. But the gagologist and Hermès dropped their heads and shook them.

"I'm sorry, but that all I got. I'll have to do some research before I can do anything," Lab Rat said

"Then, how do we stop this?!" Danny yelled.

All the while, Sloppy Joe watched as Joe Gutchern flew around the room, screaming.

"Joe? Buddy? You alright?" Sloppy asked, walking carefully to the screaming, writhing in pain, disgusting mess of a ghost.

Gutchern gave one final scream before radiating ectoplasmic energy. As the ghostly aura grew, so did the screams, pushing back Sloppy Joe. Soon people all over town could hear the ghost.

"What is that?" Danny asked in fear.

Ty and Abby remained silent as Lance Boil perked up an ear. He recognized the voice as Gutchern's and smiled.

It was then a loud explosion was heard as smoke was seen from afar.

"That can't be good!"

"We got to check it out now," Ty said in fear. He activated his jet pack and took off.

Abby took Lance and gooped him to a nearby street pole. She eyed the villain before Danny lifted her and carried them after Ty. Whatever just happened couldn't be good.

And timing we're getting worse as the gross zombies began swelling up like a pimple.

Looks like Boil bit off more than he could chew, but it seems his plans are having unexpected turns. Things are not done yet as now the heroes must investigate the explosion. If you like the fic or have opinions, let me know in reviews.

RonaldM40196867: Mostly add more of the cast into things. Maybe have Pink-eye make more attempts before having his arc reach a conclusion. Not much comes to mind. In the sewers? Everything. You do realize what's in there, right?

LordGriffin1000: Thanks!
