The morning was dark, the atmosphere being as cold as if it was a winter night. The fog and mist covered west city as shadows were magnified by the early dawn's darkness. As the fog covered the city, a soldier came out on an opening in the trees above the cliffside of an nearby mountain. He looked onto the city as he stood on the cliffside of the rather small mountain. Then, Kuriza would step out onto the top of the cliff.
"This is it, this is West City, my lord." The soldier spoke to him.
"We have the cover of dark to raid the city. Do we go in or will you go alone?" he then asked.
"We will all go in there. You all will scout out the highest battle powers in the different parts of the city, then you will tell me where they are and I will confront them." Kuriza stated. The alien clicked a button on his scouter.
"Troops, go into the city while we still have the cover of night on our side! Feel free to destroy mostly whatever you like." Kuriza then spoke before taking his finger off the button and flying up into the sky before dashing above the building of the city. The soldier would then dash off the cliffside, hovering down afterwards.
As the dark morning was starting to become lighter, Vegeta Jr. stirred in his bed. He would sit up as he rubbed his eyes, still drowsy. He got up, his feet causing the floors the creak as he stepped onto them. He then walked in a somewhat slow manner out of his room. The boy walked through the hall before going down a small flight of stairs, going through the living room, and coming into the kitchen.
Vegeta then opened the fridge, grabbed a bottle of water from it and promptly slammed the fridge shut. The water inside the bottle hadn't froze over yet but it was near ice cold, but it didn't faze the young Saiyan too much. He then opened the bottle and started drinking the water inside, drinking a quarter of the water in one gulp. He put his bottle on the sink before yawning. He started to do some stretches for a few seconds before grappling the bottle again, ready to take another sip.
Then, in a sudden instance, a soldier busted through the wall. They resembled the trooper he and Goku had encountered yesterday, he even had that weird ear thingy on. The Soldier then smirked.
"So, you're the one we were looking for." He then said. Vegeta Jr. quickly sped towards him with the will to finish the fight and within a mere instance, he knocked him out cold, leaving his body straight on the floor.
"There has to be more where he came from, I must look outside to check for any more of those do-littles in this area." He then thought to himself. He stepped out and quickly saw some of the nearby houses on fire like a serial arsonist had a quick field day on the area or completely collapsed, as if they had imploded suddenly, not given those inside any time to act as the rubble crushed them. The fog that had once covered the area like waters after a great flood was now running thin like water supplies in a large drought. However, it still did block the Saiyan from looking at anything that was a hundred feet away from him. Vegeta Jr. then started walking down the streets, which should have been crowds of people and cars evacuating city, was as barren as an ghost town hundreds of years after the last person living their had died or left to a more desirable place.
But as he was walking down, he saw a car that was rolling towards him at high speeds. The boy then held one hand out, easily stopping the car with it looking through the window. As he did, he saw the young driver of the car dead in her seat, a large, gaping hole in her chest that had also went through the window and her seat pointing to how she had just recently died.
"What the…" Vegeta spoke in shock. He wasn't really horrified but he was shocked. Whoever had attacked her didn't seem to be the normal car stealer, but rather someone that could use ki and that only wanted the driver dead. He was sure that one of the strange soldiers was responsible for this. However, He'd quickly regain his composure as he flew up. It would be far more danger to stay on ground, and it would allow his to observe the city from. As he did, he saw the true damage the city had taken as a result. His jaw dropped as he found himself more shocked than ever. He hadn't seen such destruction like this before. It honestly looked some Godzilla-sized monster or some disaster in a never-before seen magnitude had ran through the city, destroying anything it pleased in the process.
Skyscrapers had been tossed down and shattered like glass shelves, many homes were up in flames, those lived in them having been most likely been roasted alive by the hot fires, or covered in rubble, like some had stomped on them. Cars where seen all across the city, crowding up the roads like extremely large blockades, hinting at a rushed evacuation that went horribly wrong, likely ending in many people dying right there.
Vegeta was honestly shocked. His stomach was in knots and he honestly didn't know how to react to the current situation. One part of him fel like just puking and running away, while another wanted blood and retribution. His blood boiled with rage and his yellow aura flared up. The hybrid Saiyan then roared with rage before sensing the closest large ki he could sense. He then dashed downwards in order to incept them before they could harm anyone else.

Kuriza stood on top of the roof of an skyscraper which went unharmed from the assault from his troops, looking down with a face that showed two expressions simultaneously: dissatisfaction and confusion. He did receive word from one of his men that two great fighters were here. From what he had heard, neither of them could truly defeat him in a truly battle of brawn, even if they worked together but it could still be a rather entertaining fight, one of the first he has truly experienced. But as he saw the power levels on his scouter continue to drop at a rather disturbing rate, he didn't see anything notable amongst the remaining battle powers beside those of his men.
"My Lord, these soldiers are treating this more like a brothel rather than a simple search. If I don't find anything among the ruins, I might just give them a straight demotion. That is, if I don't evict them from the Ize Squadron entirely." He spoke in a clearly annoyed manner. He would continue to look down upon the ruined city as soldiers ravaged it. However, as he started to drift asleep out of boredom, his scouter went off. Somehow, an power level of 32150 started to cause the battle powers of the soldiers to start to decrease drastically.
"Oh so now one of them decides to show themselves?" He groaned. He continued to watch as one by one, his soldiers battle powers fell to 0 as they were taken down by whoever this person was.
"They're taking down my troops at a terrifying rate. I don't know what got them so motivated today but it's probably vengeance of some sort." Kuriza then said. He was somewhat frustrated that it took whoever that was that long to show up but he was sure he could get a good fight out of it.
Then he heard something heavy fall down behind Him. He turned around and he near immediately fixated his eyes one of his troopers, who either knocked out or straight up dead on the floor. He then looked, and he saw a boy with spiky hair and blue clothes. The boy hovered downwards, a slight scowl being seen in his piercing glare.
"It took you long enough to arrive." Kuriza spoke with a bit of annoyance in his voice.
'What? You did all of that, just to lure me out to fight you?" The kid complained.
"Yes. But getting that out of the way, who are you exactly?" Kuriza promptly asked. Vegeta Jr laughed. "I'm the one who will stop you!"
He felt a cold sweat begin to trickle down his face as he prepared to fight, putting up his fist as his fence.
"We'll see about that," he said, and darted forward to begin the battle.

The Saiyan and the Alien clashed in mid-air, the crash sending shockwaves across the ruined city. However, Vegeta Jr was quickly knocked back and off the side building, but he would stop himself from crashing into the ground. Kuriza would then point directly at Vegeta right as the Saiyan landed on the ground. Then he would start rapidly firing a flurry of small beams at Vegeta Jr. Even though he was surprised by the attacks, the youngster would evade the blasts as his otherworldly opponent fired them in quick succession, causing dust and smoke to trail behind the young Saiyan. Then, he flew up towards Kuriza, appearing as if he was just blur.
Suddenly, Vegeta Jr crashed into the alien's side, quickly appearing behind him afterwards to throw a chop towards his neck, but Kuriza quickly reacted by turning around and grabbing his wrist before the blow could land. He kicked at the Saiyan's face multiple times afterwards before throwing him into the ground. Then, he landed directly on the ground to the side of the crater that had been made when the Saiyan landed into the ground.
"You think that catching me off guard will help you any? You did surprise me at first, but it wasn't worth anything in the end." Kuriza spoke in a rather cocky manner. Vegeta Jr would jump out of the pit and infront of the Alien before standing up.
"I won't need to catch you off guard now that I've gaged your power." The Saiyan then spoke, smiling smugly.
"And what makes you think I'm not holding back my power?" Kuriza responded promptly.
"What!? You're bluffing? Right?" Vegeta Jr asked in a manner which displayed both fear and confusion. The smug look he had earlier seemed to have completely vanished. Kuriza chuckled a small bit.
"Yes simpleton, I have yet to unleash my true power yet. But here's one thing I can tell you. Considering your current power right now, unless you friend comes to help you, You'll be incapable of standing up to my power." He said to his opponent before he started to take a less defensive stance and started to power up directly Infront of Vegeta Jr.
In response, Vegeta rushed directly towards the alien in a rather desperate attempt to try and keep him from powering up. As a result, the young Saiyan would quick get infront of Kuriza. Then, Vegeta Junior would smack him into the side of a building, causing it to promptly collapse on him. However, in only a few mere seconds, a purple pillar of light came out of the rubble, with Kuriza jumping out of the ruins as it dissipated. He then appeared behind the youngster. With a flick of his wrist, he sent Vegeta Junior flying back a considerable amount. The Saiyan then landed onto the ground, causing a small crater to form around him. Within about thirty seconds or so, he got back up, hurt and somewhat tired.
"Crap… This dude is extremely powerful…" The boy thought.
"He might be as strong as me and Goku combined. But, I might be capable of evening the playing field if I send a strong attack his way." He added right before cupping his hands and forming a small blue ball of energy in them. Then, he pushed the ball out, causing it to go infront of him and float. The ball started to directly gain power, growing larger and larger until it reached the size of his hands.
"What the heck is that?" Kuriza asked in a quite confused manner.
"Get ready. This is my penultimate attack!!" the Saiyan spoke.
"Now, Take This! BIG BANG ATTACK!!!" Vegeta Jr then roared right before firing the ball at his otherworldly foe. Within a few seconds, the attack hit Kuriza head on, causing a big explosion of blue energy to occur.
"Haha! Take that you dirty lizard! Haha…" Vegeta Jr said afterwards, chuckling a slight bit in triumph. However, once the smoke cleared, it showed Kuriza standing there with his arms up. He seemed to have blocked the blast entirely, much to the boy's shock.
"I have to admit, that hurt a lot, but is that the best you can do?"
"I must be seeing things. You did not just block my greatest attack like that!"
"Haha… You must have low standards it that charged up ki blast is your final move."Kuriza said in a mocking tone, dusting off his shoulders as he did.
"crap… that did nothing at all! How could something like that happen!?" The Saiyan thought to himself.
"so, are you going to continue fighting me? Or did you spend all your energy or that pitiful move?" Kuriza then asked.
"It'd be a shame if you did." He then added in a rather menacing tone. The alien would then started walking directly towards him with a smug look on his face. Vegeta Junior would get into a fighting stance, prepared to continue fighting.
"Grrr… I'll wipe that smug grin off your face!" He then yelled as he rushed towards Kuriza in an attempt to launch a counter attack. However, as he went to strike Kuriza, the alien vanished.
"huh? Where did he-" Then, Kuriza appeared behind the youngster and elbowed him into the ground. The alien the grappled Vegeta's leg with his tail before throwing the Saiyan at a building, but the Saiyan was capable of stopping himself from hitting it. Kuriza then hovered up into the air as well.
"Are you done playing around? Because I'd actually like to have a fight out of you." He then said. Vegeta then promptly rushed directly at Kuriza without saying a single world. Kuriza then responded by rushing to the young Saiyan as well in order to continue the battle with his opponent.
Meanwhile, Goku Jr was helping Pan with her turnips, parsley, and potatoes. Stooped over, Goku dutifully plucked weed after weed from between the plants. The parsley made his nose tickle. Thankfully, there wasn't much of it that he would need to work through, just a small patch.
"These will make a fine meal, Goku," said Pan. "We'll have potato parsley casserole in a few weeks!" Pan seemed too happy with the progress in her garden.
Goku Jr smiled and continued to pluck weeds, being careful to keep his head as far away from the parsley as he could.
He took a step and felt the soft ground beneath him start to shift. He was confused and picked up his foot to look at it.
"What was—" he started to say, when the rumble reached his ears. "Some kind of blast?" he said aloud.
He turned his eyes to the sky and saw 2 brilliant flashes.
"Aw, Vegeta," he whined. "
I gotta go, grandma!" He said.
"OK dear, just be safe!" Pan replied.
Goku flew in the direction of the glow he had seen. His mind raced. Who would Vegeta be fighting with, and was it his problem?
He scanned the ground and the horizon alternately for any sign of what the matter was. Then, just outside of the city, he saw flashes again. Flying far over the buildings revealed the cause—Vegeta was fighting with some alien.
Goku watched for a moment before he lowered himself toward the ground and the buildings. Vegeta whizzed by, having take a blow. Goku watched him stand and grumble to himself before he floated over.
"How about some help, buddy?" he said, just before a bolt of brilliant blue knocked him into the same building Vegeta had just hit. Vegeta Jr stood panting, unable to answer.
Goku got up and brushed the rubble from his hair. "Ok, now it's personal," he said.
"Hey you! What's your deal?"
"Ah, the other one. So you've finally arrived, eh?" Lord Kuriza said with a smirk.
"Then it will be easy to take you both out."
"I hope it's for a nice dinner!" Goku Junior said and took his position in front of Vegeta to defend him from Kuriza's next attack.
"Time to finish this!" Kuriza shouted. The alien swiped his hand in a slashing motion, causing a wave of purple energy to rush towards the duo, forcing Goku Jr to attempt to block it. The attack was extremely powerful and Goku Jr was barely pushing it back at all. In fact, he was being pushed back more than the attack was. Just then, Vegeta Jr got up and he started to charge up some sort of attack in his hands.
"Vegeta! What are you doing!?" Goku said, turning his head to rival.
"Goku, keep holding that attack back. I have a plan on how to push it back." The Saiyan then said. Goku nodded as he continued to keep the attack at bay by pouring some of his own ki into the attack.Then, within a few seconds a turquoise orb of ki appeared in the Saiyan's right hand.
"Move!" Vegeta Jr then yelled at Goku Jr. The boy promptly nodded before jumping away after giving one last shove at the weakening slash-shaped attack. Then, Vegeta fired the beam at the other attack, breaking it near instantaneously and sending the turquoise energy beam barreling towards Kuriza, hitting him head on. However, Kuriza's power spiked for a moment, negating the beam's effects.
"Hehe…. Maybe you two might give me the fight I wanted after all.. but it's too earlier to judge the both of you.." He then said.
"Let's continue this, shall we?" Kuriza then said. Goku Junior chuckled a small bit before rushing towards the alien along-side Vegeta Junior. Kuriza then did the same as the rushed towards each-other to finish the fight.
