Olivia sat at her desk thinking about everything going on. They had closed the case of the teenager found in a suitcase after being sexually assaulted. If Nick hadn't been through enough, his estranged father showed up announcing he was getting married and ended up on trial for beating her at a party. Noah wasn't a concern for once. She clicked her pen and looked through the file on her desk. The name on the file said Detective Amanda Rollins. Olivia had been struggling with the way things ended since the secret about Patton came out. Amanda was supposed to see Dr. Lindstrom for a referral and Olivia found out she never went. She approved her leave and it had almost been a month. The squad was quiet. Olivia scoffed, "That was Lieutenant Murphy."

Olivia closed the file, no matter how many times she read it, she was disappointed in herself. "I missed it, Fin. I missed everything. I should have helped her, but I was mad at Elliot. I threw myself into that bad relationship with Brian, that I knew wouldn't work. Then…" Fin waited. "Then Lewis happened and I was a wreck." Olivia looked up, "I was in my own world, but Amanda blamed herself I think. She was ok and we were good. She wasn't the same when I came back."

Olivia played it over in her head. Fin smiled, "And now you're the boss, but you can still be our friend Liv. You have that ability." Olivia shrugged, "When I asked her to see a counselor as a friend, do you know what she said?" Olivia waited as Fin shrugged, "Ok Sergeant." Fin looked down, he knew that must have stung. Olivia continued, "The gambling, she doesn't enjoy it. It's a cover up. She reverts to something she's seen to hide. She looks for trouble. She was crying out for attention and if anyone should have picked up on it, it should've been me."

Fin sighed, "Liv, she's not your mom." Olivia put the file away. He didn't know how much trouble he would be in for the next comment, but he was stuck between two friends. "I know where she is?" Olivia looked up, "Of course you do." Fin smiled, "You could go to her and talk. We can hold it down for you." Olivia laughed, "You and Nick by yourself? And what about Noah?" Fin shrugged, "Yeah me and Nick. Lucy will be fine. It's just a couple of days." Olivia knew Amanda was that important.

Olivia was sitting on the plane looking at the ocean below her. Fin gave her the place. Amanda fled to a Yoga retreat in Costa Rica. She thought about their entire relationship. She was scared and didn't know what Amanda's reaction would be. She collected her bags and gave the taxi the address. She talked to the resort owner and they held her bags at the desk. The worker pointed to the beach and Olivia smiled seeing the back of Amanda's long blonde hair.

Amanda moved the towel and they sat together. Olivia smiled, "A Yoga retreat in Costa Rica." Amanda laughed, "It was the furthest I could get away from New York…and Atlanta. It's been good." Olivia smiled at her, "Yeah, have you worked through some stuff?" Olivia knew therapy her way wasn't for everyone and you couldn't push something like that. Amanda gave a soft laugh, still unsure, "It's been therapeutic. We were meditating on the summit of this volcano and a yogi came over and touched me on the shoulder and I didn't even tense up."

Olivia thought it was progress, but felt like she needed more, "I know I pushed you about therapy and I was wrong. How are things going to be when you come back? You are coming back right?" Amanda laughed, "I'm so sorry for what I put you all through. I'm coming back." Olivia put her arm around Amanda, "I'm sorry for what you put yourself through. And good because we would sure miss you."

They both felt a tingle as they looked each other in the eyes. Olivia broke away, "Fin had a question." Amanda smirked, "How mad are you at him because he told me about your secret hiding place?" Amanda bit her lip, "We're ok." Amanda stood up, "How about lunch? You must be starving." Olivia agreed and as they walked back to the hotel, she dropped a bomb. "I hope you have a couch or something. They are booked and I don't have a room." Amanda smiled, "I do have a couch, but it's not comfortable to sleep on. I also have a big bed. So I'll let you pick."

They went in and Amanda helped with her bags. They ordered lunch and talked. Amanda sipped her drink, "I heard January was pretty crappy." Olivia agreed, "Cases, Nick's dad, and Noah's lungs. It's been a lot." Amanda smiled hearing Noah's name, "How is Noah? I can't believe you left him to check on me." Olivia looked up, "He's good and I needed to do this. I needed to be with you."

Olivia changed and they walked around the resort and splashed in the ocean. "Amanda! I'm going to kill you!" Amanda pulled Liv in the water. They were sitting in the water as the waves splashed them. Olivia rubbed Amanda's cheek, "I'm so glad you are happy." Amanda didn't know how Olivia felt, but the truth was Amanda had a crush on Olivia for a long time. She watched so much happen.
