Defenders of the Wing and Creatures of Destruction

A week has past sense Heather had come and she had decided to join which Hybrid was very pleased about but was still very irritated by the promise rune that made things extremely difficult then needed to be. Viggo had contacted Hiccup and Heather decided to go with him forcing Hybrid to follow. Viggo had attempted to make a truce and a decision is very much decided.

Half was arguing not to agree to it and the other half knew Hiccup was not going to agree with it. Mitne Sventar was practicing dual wielding axes and massacring the dummies and targets. Hybrid was looking at the map. 'Hmm… What does Viggo what out of this truce and what is this truly about,' Hybrid thought to himself as Hiccup then points to an island on the map.

Hiccup said, "We should head here, that is possibly where he does not want us to go."

Ava then says, "Then let's go." Then noticed Hybrid wondering about in his own mind. She then asked, "Red, your still with us?"

Hybrid replied, "Yeah, just had a little wonder."

The group then started flying to the island and there was a volcano, a village and a crash site with villagers surrounding it. Hybrid recognised the vessel as a transporter from his home. Mitne Sventar and Ava also recognised the island.

Hybrid asked while resisting a laugh, "How badly can you land a Raven?"

Mitne Sventar quickly replied attempting to hide his embarrassment, "It was Ava's landing."

Hiccup then asked, "What are you guys talking about."

Hybrid replies, "My Dad's horrible landing."

The group then lands in the forest Hybrid and Ava (Who is currently in her dragon form) were with Heather, Fishlegs was with Hiccup and Astrid while Mitne Sventar was with Snotlout and the twins. They were closing in on the village and unexpectedly the groups get ambushed. Hiccup ended up waking up last and he heard.

"Hey, you, you're finally awake." Then hears a loud ow as the source got elbowed in the ribs.

He looked to see Mitne Sventar attempting to cover his ribs and Hybrid say, "Shut up you thick skulled youngling."

Mitne Sventar then came back with, "Well, I don't see you doing anything, and you've been in this situation several times already."

Hybrid replied, "It's better to be patient then you meet their leader, you absolute dimwit."

A muscular man who Hybrid guessed was the second in command. The man then said, "I am Throk. All hail, Mala, Queen Defender of the Wing."

The woman that Hybrid would correctly assume was Mala asks Throk, "So, these are the Dragon Hunters your men captured, Throk?"

Throk answered, "Yes, My Queen."

"Wait a minute, we aren't Dragon Hunters." Hybrid defended.

Mitne Sventar asks in wonder, "If we ate a human will in human form would it technically be cannibalism?"

Hybrid replied, "Technically no, and why on Earth did that come to your mind right now?"

Mala then said, "Enough Dragon Hunters, your trial will be tomorrow morning."

Mitne Sventar felt a stinging feeling as Hybrid stabs him with his tail. Ava growled, "Stop or I'll tail whack the both of you." Hybrid then huffed heated smoke and Mitne Sventar huffed purple energy.

The day of the trial comes. Hybrid was up in front to give the greatest defence of his life. The entire village and the dragons including Ava was observing the trial.

Mala states, "You stand accused of being Dragon Hunters, subjugators of dragons. Do you deny this?"

Hybrid replies, "I do, my lady." As he bows.

Mala then questions, "But you admit that you force the dragons to carry you on their backs?"

Hybrid said, "To do such a thing would betray the very belief that I uphold. Every being no matter their size or intellect deserves to choose for themselves."

Mala then asks, "And you used them to land secretly land on our island? As well as your ally had taken one down and killed it?"

Hybrid said, "If you're talk about the Raven, I can fix it. Also, the reason the Raven is sort of dead is because it isn't alive it's a piece of advanced equipment."

Mala then asks, "What makes you so sure about that?"

Hybrid then said, "Let me show you then okay. I'll get it working again."

Mala then said, "Alright, you have two days and if it doesn't you and your allies will be sent to the nest."

Hybrid nodded as he says, "Deal."

The group then approach the fallen Raven. Hybrid examines the engines and notice the damage and then looks for the entrance. Luckily it was still functioning, and Hybrid could get in. He then came out with a box and came to one of the engines.

Hybrid looked to Mitne Sventar as he said, "You damaged it pretty badly."

Mitne Sventar asked, "Why?"

"Because its miracle if it takes two and half days to get this up in the sky again. Anyway, get the damn thing and run engine tests when called for." Hybrid explained.

Mitne Sventar then entered the ship and Hybrid started work on the engine and it took a few hours and then Hybrid called for the first test. Mitne Sventar activated the engine and it started to whirl then the machine fails to ignite.

After almost two days the engine finally roars to life. Hybrid let out cheering roar spooking the guards. Mitne Sventar exited the ship after shutting the engine off and saw Hybrid who was very pleased with the repair. Heather had to cover her ears due to being in close proximity to Hybrid's roar.

Mala came into the clearing with the group in tow to see what happened. She then asked, "What happened?"

Hybrid said in a giggly tone, "Engine One is roaring."

Mala then asked, "Where did that roar come from?"

Mitne Sventar then said, "Hybrid was the one who did the roar."

Hiccup then said, "That is one hell of a roar."

Hybrid's smile then fade when he felt a small geological movement that could only link to one thing, a volcano. Hybrid was quick to look at the summit of the volcano and saw thick smoke come from it.

Hybrid then asked hinting at the summit, "Are you aware of the active volcano?"

Mala then looks at the hinted spot and her eyes widen and with almost zero hesitation asks, "Can you aid us?"

Hiccup said, "Don't worry will help."

Hybrid replied, "What's the fastest route and before either of you ask, it is in respect of these people."

They make to the summit and Hybrid reads the environment and pictures the scene. Then says out loud, "There was an ambush, but it seems Viggo's men were fighting one body and that body was a massive boulder class dragon. It seemed to be a planned attack due to the resistance being small. There also seem to be footprints signalling two guards either side of the post but there is no sign of a struggle which means there was obvious betrayal."

Astrid said, "You got that from all this."

Mala felt broken the guards stationed with protecting the dragon were traitors and spies.

Mitne Sventar replied, "Anything foreign to this world."

Hybrid examined intently and saw some liquid and he could attempt to find out more about this liquid, but he couldn't do it now. He answered, "Possibly, I found a bit of liquid."

Tuff immediately jumped on to it and he got a bit of his arm wet and then got a nosebleed to which Hybrid placed his paw on Tuff's shoulder and the Thorsten fell in pain. Hybrid then said, "Mind control nanobots."

Mitne Sventar said, "Which means they switched sides against their own will."

Hybrid heard an arrow being released aiming for Mala's head. He quickly went her aid and back handed the arrow and staring the source down. Mala was shocked from her saviour's speed and 6saw him leap behind the bush and bring out two hunters.

Hybrid said, "Tell us where they are heading and maybe I'll have fish for lunch."

One of the hunters asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Mitne Sventar said, "He says, if you don't tell us where they headed, he'll eat you."

The other said, "He won't right."

Hybrid makes sure they see his fangs to further the point. They were shaking from the thought of Hybrid devouring. The first hunter broke from the pressure and said, "They were heading south with the Eruptodon."

Hybrid replied, "Good." Then knocked them both out.

The sudden action spooked everyone. Hybrid then looks to Mala and says, "Their all yours." He then looks to his friends and says, "Let's get this son of a frost giant and the Eruptodon."

Mala then said, "I'll travel with you." To which Hybrid just nodded.

The riders were flying to the edge and Mitne Sventar saw the hunter ships along with a frigate. He then shouted to Hybrid, "Hybrid, it's the Ragnarök, Silva's ship."

A red electric storm formed overhead Hybrid knew what it meant. Mala said, "Just saying you'd make a great king."

Hybrid said, "Sorry, but I'm already in a relationship and it'll be a lot weirder to explain. Besides, I have to do something that includes that storm." He then looks over to Hiccup and says, "Hiccup, defend Mala because where I'm heading, she can't follow."

Mala then says, "The storm will threaten both you and your dragon."

Hybrid replied, "Trust me, I wouldn't put her in harm's way. Go now."

Mala jumped onto Toothless, and Hybrid said, "Ava, we need to head into the storm."

With the beat of her wings, she flew into the looming grey clouds sparking with red arcs. Hybrid felt stronger and creatures danced around the two. Hybrid then stood up and said, "I love you, Ava." Then dropped down lightning jumping angrily down after him, and his scales glowed, and his wings burst out with a menacing apparel as he took form and out of the clouds came a dragon. The Ragnarök moved its guns and a harpoon released only for Hybrid to grasp it in his jaws and he clamps down destroying it. The frigates guns fired only to scratch the dragon's thick hide and Hybrid's chest glow a bright orange then a beam of fire burst from his mouth. The ship barely lasted a few minutes, and the Hunters began their retreat and Hybrid landed on the ship Viggo was on and he spoke in a menacing tone, "Never thing you could fool me mortal for I am the prince of the Dark Citadel and the God of Destruction. You shall only live to speak of my name for it is I, The Great Cataclysm. Oh, and if you wish to name me a grand title please do. Now run before I burn your armies, shatter you chain of command, melt your armour and scorch your soul for eternity."

Viggo's face showed nothing but fear for a literal god stood before him and all the ships he had brought were being destroyed by spirt-like monsters. He called for a retreat and Hybrid launch of the ship throwing it a dozen feet into the water. The monsters entered the storm and the great storm dispersed and Hybrid calmed and flew to Ava who was in awe at the display.

Hybrid just stopped a few dozen feet and looked away in shame. He was pissed at the hunters and let his nature run ramped. Mitne Sventar looked on and knew they had it coming his only regret was not helping.

Ava thought on it and realised that he was unstable at points to which she flew down and kissed him while comforting him. Hybrid's eyes wide in shock but was happy at the same time and a tear traversed his cheek.

Mala looked on in awe at the two and seeing that Hybrid's love interest is Ava the dragoness.

They land back at the defenders of the wing with the Eruptodon, and Ava shapeshifts shocking the entirety of the defenders of the wing. She stood with Hybrid as the peace between the riders and defenders was being made. She then noticed the promise rune was gone and alerted Hybrid who was than pleased that it was gone.
